At the Autobot Base, Ratchet saw a signal appearing on the main console and it was making it's way towards the base.

"Arcee, Cliffjumper, a vehicular form is approaching." Ratchet told the only other Autobots in the base with him, who walked up with Luz and Amity by their sides.

"Decepticon?" Arcee asked.

When the image zoomed in, the vehicle was shown to be a familiar dark-orange car that belonged to a certain Hispanic Woman.

"Mom." Luz answered with a sigh, knowing the person in the vehicle was her only parent.

"Again? That's the third time this week." Cliffjumper admitted. "And it's already Saturday."

"I guess she just likes visiting." Amity replied.

Camila' car then arrived through the main entrance and the Hispanic Woman got out of the driver's seat.

"Hola, Mija." Camila greeted.

"(Nice to see you, mom)." Luz replied in Spanish, allowing her mother to hug her and Amity.

"I managed finish my shift at the clinic early, so I thought I'd come see how you two were doing." Camila said before she turned her attention to Ratchet. "Nice to see you again, Doctor."

Ratchet simply nodded to her in response.

"Arcee. Cliffjumper." Camila greeted kindly, causing the two Autobots to smile down at her. "So, where's Optimus?"

"On a scouting mission with Bumblebee and Jazz." Ratchet answered. "Sorry to disappoint."

"And I made sure to put on my best shoes today." Camila quipped.

"Mom!" Luz exclaimed embarrassingly.

"Just let it go, Luz." Amity said while giggling a bit.

As Ratchet continued working at the main console, he started to see a large wave signal that was coming from a far away area.

"That's odd. This is an extremely unusual magnetic flux, for any planet." Ratchet said.

(Linebreak)

Ratchet wasn't the only one who detected this signal. On the Nemesis, Soundwave was displaying the same wave signal to Megatron.

"I recognise this magnetic signature, Soundwave. And it would be unfortunate to have a Decepticon invention such as this used against us." Megatron said.

"I'll get that weapon for you, Lord Megatron." Brawl told his leader as he stood behind him.

"Brawl? Heh. If you can be bested by mere children, what chance do you have against the Autobots?" Megatron questioned, unconvinced.

"Those little insects just got lucky and I didn't even know much about their magic powers." Brawl replied. "This time, I'm going to be successful and I'll crush anything that gets in my way. Wether it's a weak Autobot or a puny human."

Back at the base, Bulkhead and Wheeljack had just showed up and they came to a quick halt before letting Willow, Gus, Hunter and Vee out of their seats. The four children laughed happily as Bulkhead and Wheeljack transformed behind them.

"Did you see the swift turn at that last roadway fork? Jackie's got some mad skills." Gus commented.

But just then, he and his friends noticed Camila was standing next to Luz and Amity, causing them to stay silent for a little bit.

"Remember when this used to be a kids-only thing?" Willow asked quietly.

"Don't worry, Camila, we were wearing seatbelts." Hunter assured.

"I'm sure you were, Hunter." Camila replied. "So, how have you four been on your ride?"

"It was alright. We got to see a few rare birds, but nothing special actually happened." Vee said with a casual smile.

"Let's do this thing, Luz." Arcee told her human partner while holding a large cable in her hand, walking away and prompting Luz to follow her.

"But, I just got here." Camila protested. "I was hoping to hear some nice stories about the adventures of Team Prime."

"Not right now, mom. I really need to help Arcee test our upgraded tracking system." Luz answered, walking back to Arcee.

"Well, alright. Just try to be carful." Camila said.

"There's nothing to be carful about. It's a routine diagnostic." Arcee replied.

"Trust her, ma'am. Arcee knows what she's doing with this kind of stuff." Cliffjumper said assuringly.

"If you say so." Camila shrugged in understanding. "You know, I never would have imagined Luz would get a second mother figure."

Arcee stopped walking when she heard this and gained a slightly bewildered expression.

"Did she just call me a mother figure?" She asked Bulkhead and Wheeljack quietly.

"I'm pretty sure she did." Wheeljack replied with a chuckle. "Don't you think so, Bulk?"

"Yep." Bulkhead answered.

"Well, I guess Arcee is technically my third mother figure behind Eda." Luz whispered to herself.

"Bulkhead, I need you back in the field to investigate an odd magnetic disturbance." Ratchet told the dark-green Wrecker.

"I'll go with!" Willow stated, rushing up to the Bots. "You never know when you could use some magic help!"

"Whoa! Stay put, Willow." Bulkhead said as he stopped the Plant Witch girl.

Willow groaned in disappointment before she walked back to the others.

"Why aren't you allowed to go?" Camila asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Probably because they think it's not safe." Gus answered. "I should know because I speak from experience."

"But it was okay for Luz and Amity to come when I was kidnapped by those M.E.C.H criminals and their spider friend?" Camila questioned.

"Mom, that was different." Luz replied, approaching her mother.

"It was a family matter and you're part of Luz's family." Amity added.

"That's… actually a good point." Camila admitted.

"I think I could use a little outdoor activity today. Wait up, Bulkhead. I'm going with." Arcee said as she tossed the cable to the ground and walked into the Ground Bridge alongside Bulkhead.

Needless to say, Luz was a little bit stunned by her Autobot Guardian just walking out on her.

"Okay. Have fun." Luz sighed.

"So, does this mean I can hear some Team Prime stories now?" Camila asked with a smile.

"I can tell you some." Cliffjumper replied.

At a rocky badlands with some open space for miles, Brawl was holding up a scanner device and it showed a signal that was very close to his position. The brutish Decepticon lowered the scanner to see a pile of boulders that was obviously hiding the item he was after beneath it.

"There it is." Brawl said to himself, walking up to the rock pile.

Once he was ontop of the signal, he put the scanner away and used his amazing strength to simply pick up some boulders and toss them all away. Brawl then saw some kind of gauntlet-like device in the pile and he pulled it out, examining it with a curious expression.

"I don't know what this is, but I'm sure it'll be useful." Brawl admitted.

But just then, something swiftly moved across the stony hills and Brawl heard it before shifting his free hand into a Neutron Assault Rifle. He aimed his rifle around where he heard the object move and saw nothing, only to hear some rocks falling from behind. When Brawl quickly turned around, he saw Airachnid standing ontop the rock pile on her spider legs as she laughed a bit before jumping straight at the brutish Decepticon.

Brawl had no time to react and he was kicked in the face by Airachnid, causing him to collapse and drop the device in the process. Airachnid walked up to the drive and picked it up.

"For me? You shouldn't have." Airachnid said with a smirk, only for Brawl to suddenly grab the device from her.

"I didn't, bug." Brawl retorted before he punched Airachnid away while keeping the device in his hand, making the female Spider Con hiss angrily. "I heard a rumour about a rogue Con. How about I hogtie you and haul you back to the Nemesis? I'm sure Lord Megatron would love to have a chat with you."

The brutish Decepticon placed his assault rifle away and pulled out his spiked hammer before charging straight at Airachnid. The female Spider Con swiftly dodged the attack and landed behind Brawl.

"Huh, the primitive type." Airachnid said.

Brawl turned around and shouted angrily while charging at Airachnid, only for her to once again avoid another swing from his hammer and land on the hill behind.

"Not much for depth perception anymore, are you?" Airachnid questioned.

"Well, not much for looks anymore!" Brawl answered before firing a missile from his back tank cannon, causing a massive explosion in Airachnid's place.

Brawl soon noticed that Airachnid was nowhere to be seen and began looking around for any sign of her. But just then, he began to feel some drilling noises from beneath and Airachnid's spider legs suddenly appeared from out of the ground before they grabbed the brutish Decepticon and pulled him underground. Brawl's struggles didn't help him escape and his whole body was completely buried, while Airachnid drilled out of the ground and grabbed the gauntlet that Brawl dropped with a sly laugh.

"It was a lovely burial." Airachnid quipped before she began walking away, hearing Brawl's grunts from underground. "Sorry, can't quite understand you."

But suddenly, Brawl's spike hammer busted out of the ground and the brutish Decepticon himself crawled his way out while growling in anger, causing Airachnid to turn around and face him. Once he was fully out, Brawl and Airachnid charged at each other for another fight to see who would walk away with the gauntlet device.

Meanwhile at the same exact area that was a few miles away from the Decepticons' position, Arcee and Bulkhead were making their way up the stoney hill towards the magnetic source.

"Don't take it so personal, Arcee." Bulkhead said, referring to what happened with her and Camila in the base. "Camila's been in a complicated part in her relationship with Luz ever since she got back. At least, that's what the others told me. She probably just wants to look out for her more."

"Well, I've been looking out for her daughter for years before she had a clue." Arcee replied. "And the second she finds out and tries to spend time with Luz when she's with me, it like she thinks I'm trying to upstage her."

"That's a pretty good point." A voice replied as Arcee and Bulkhead looked down to see Willow following them. "But it doesn't seem like a mom contest to me."

"Willow, how did you…" Bulkhead began to ask.

"I'm gonna need a Bridge." Arcee informed on her com-link.

"Wait, don't send me back to base with Luz's mom still in it." Willow protested, causing Arcee to halt her communication. "It's just that I miss the way things were. You know, when we first met."

"…Strike that, Ratchet. It's only recon." Arcee said before turning off her com-link. "She's safe with us. Plus, she's always got her Plant magic for self-defence."

The female Autobot then walked ahead as Bulkhead lowered his hand down to Willow, allowing the Plant witch girl hop on.

"Nice." Willow said with a smile while Bulkhead placed her on his shoulder. "Put on our favourite tune, Bulk."

"Your favourite tune?" Arcee repeated.

Bulkhead pressed a button on his chest and it began playing a good audio music that he and Willow were really enjoying. Arcee, on the other hand, thought this music was too loud for her liking.

"Don't you think that's a little loud for recon?" Arcee asked rhetorically.

Bulkheads knew she wasn't enjoying the music and turned it off, making Willow groan in disappointment.

"A scout should be silent, but deadly." Arcee told them, making the pair laugh a bit in response. "What?"

"Silent but deadly means something completely different in the Human Realm." Bulkhead replied, walking past Arcee.

"Time for us to get our recon on, Bulk." Willow said with an enthusiastic smile.

"I always take point." Arcee reminded.

"I know, but Willow likes to be up front so she can see the action better." Bulkhead explained before he confined to walk ahead.

"No matter where I turn, I'm the third wheel." Arcee muttered annoyingly, following the Bulkhead and Willow as the dark-green Wrecker was looking at a scanner.

"Hmm, looks like Ratchet's magnetic flux is coming from…" Bulkhead said, until they heard a scuffle ahead and quickly hid behind some rocks.

Arcee, Bulkhead and Willow saw Brawl and Airachnid still fighting each other over the gauntlet device. Airachnid managed to make Brawl lose his grip on the device and she attempted to grab it, only for the brutish Decepticon to grab her by her spider legs and hoist her up. Airachnid gave Brawl a kick to his face, but he simply chuckled and was unfazed by this attack before punching the female Spider Con away.

"Airachnid." Arcee whispered, clenching her hand in anger.

"And Brawl. That big tank Decepticon me and the others beat on the Nemesis." Willow added. "And they're having a big battle."

As both Decepticons continued battling, Brawl somehow managed to activate the device and it emitted orange holographic lines around his hand, which the Autobots quickly noticed.

"Over that." Bulkhead said.

"The source of the magnetic disturbance." Arcee realised.

"Alright, what's the plan?" Willow asked, ready to join the fight.

Unfortunately for her, Bulkhead immediately placed her back in the ground and the Plant witch girl crossed her arms.

"Willow, don't move. I mean it." Bulkhead said firmly.

Willow could only sigh begrudgingly, choosing to sit down on a small rock. Bulkhead brought out his wrecking ball and Arcee got her blasters ready before they both nodded to each other. At the same time, Airachnid managed to get behind Brawl and used her spider legs to strike him down. This caused the brutish Decepticon to drop the device and Airachnid was about to grab it, only for a blaster shot to knock it away from her and she looked towards the source.

"Arcee." Airachnid said, smirking at her old nemesis and noticing Bulkhead next to her. "And look, you brought a new partner for me to snuff."

"That would be Bulkhead." Brawl replied as he stood back up.

"Who asked you?" Airachnid questioned rhetorically.

"Launch me." Arcee said to Bulkhead.

Bulkhead places his hand under her feet and launched her straight into the air. Arcee then fired her blasters at Airachnid and Brawl, who ran away to avoid all the shots. When Arcee landed on the ground, Brawl attempted to charge at the female Autobot before Airachnid got in front of him.

"No! She's mine!" Airachnid stated, leaping towards her nemesis.

Brawl turned to his left and was immediately bashed in the face by Bulkhead's wrecking ball.

"Watch out for-" Bulkhead warned.

"Got it!" Arcee replied before taking out her wrist blades and clashing with Airachnid's deadly spider legs.

As the two of them kept blocking and avoiding each other's attacks, Arcee was able to slash Airachnid's face and leave a cut of Energon on it. Arcee and Bulkhead then stood back to back with each other as Willow watched from the hill.

"Wow, those two are really good together." Willow said with a smile. "Kinda like me and Amity when we were little. I just hope Cliffjumper doesn't get jealous sometimes."

Arcee and Bulkhead began fighting against Airachnid and Brawl respectively, with both Autobots managing to hold their own against the Cons. Bulkhead and Brawl attempted to push each other back before the dark-green Wrecker head-butted his foe and smacked him away. Airachnid relentlessly swiped her spider legs at Arcee before Willow quickly summoned a pair of vines from the ground and caught the female Spider Con by her arms. Arcee saw her opportunity and kicked her nemesis straight into Brawl, causing both Decepticons to fall down as Arcee and Bulkhead stood beside each other.

When Brawl recovered from the fight, he saw the gauntlet device next to him and picked it up before he and Airachnid stood up.

"Thank you." Brawl said, pressing a button on the device and making it glow orange again.

"Do you even know what that does? It isn't a toy!" Airachnid stated before she began crawling away.

Arcee brought out her blasters and chased after her nemesis while shooting at her, only for Airachnid to quickly drill underground. Arcee stopped in front of the hole and relentlessly fired her blasters into it, failing to land a good hit on Airachnid. Brawl began powering up the device in his hand and Willow's glasses suddenly flew away from her face.

"Hey!" Willow exclaimed as she was now having trouble seeing things.

Brawl then aimed the device towards Bulkhead, using some kind of magnetic force to pull the dark-green Autobot towards him. As Arcee was still firing her blasters into the hole Airachnid escaped through, even she started getting pulled in by Brawl's new device.

"What's going on?!" Arcee questioned while struggling to keep herself still.

Once Bulkhead and Arcee were close enough, Brawl aimed the device upwards and causes both Autobots to levitate.

"Heheh, I wonder what this switch does?" Brawl said smugly.

When the brutish Decepticon pressed on a specific button, he sent Arcee, Bulkhead and a few small metal objects crashing into a stoney wall that created a big dust cloud. Willow gasped in worridness as she saw their blurry images before she ran down the hill to see if her Autobot friends were okay, while Brawl powered down his new device.

"Heh, Megatron is really going to love this when I bring it to him." Brawl commented before he transformed into his tank mode and drove away.

Willow had a little bit of trouble looking at where she was going without her glasses, but she was able to hear Bulkhead's painful groans and followed them to where the Autobots crashed as the dark-green Wrecker sat against the wall.

"Bulkhead, I think that Con is getting away!" Willow told him. "Also, do you see my glasses anywhere?"

"Uh, I think it's on my chassis." Bulkhead replied, noticing the Plant witch girl's glasses stuck to him.

"They are? Thanks." Willow said as she attempted to pull off her glasses, but they wouldn't even budge a bit. "They're stuck!"

She summoned a vine from the ground and used it to grab her glasses before pulling with all her strength. Willow then successfully pulled her glasses away from Bulkhead with one huge tug and placed them back on her face.

"That's much better." Willow said with a smile.

"Where's Arcee?" Bulkhead asked as he stood up and noticed the female Autobot was nowhere to be seen.

"I don't know. I'm sure I was able to see her get blasted away with you, even if everything was just a big blur." Willow admitted.

"I'm right behind you." Arcee's voice said, causing Bulkhead to look around for the source.

"Where?" He asked in confusion.

"Let's just say… she's got your back." Willow replied, looking behind her Autobot Guardian.

When Bulkhead turned around, Arcee was revealed to have been stuck to his own back. Arcee tried to pry herself free of this magnetic binding, but had little success.

"Scrap." Arcee said.

Meanwhile, Brawl was driving along the roadway and came up to a nearby abandoned gas station.

"Nemesis crew, this is Brawl." Brawl said on the com-link. "I ran into some pests, but I managed to get the device. You might wanna tell Soundwave to open up a Brid-"

But suddenly, a bunch of boulders began falling down from a nearby cliff and Brawl moved to the side to avoid them, only for him to get caught in a bunch of webs that were waiting for him ahead. The brutish Decepticon transformed and struggled to get free while grunting, until the shadow of a certain female Spider Con loomed over him.

(Linebreak)

Back with the Autobots, Willow was pulling on Arcee's foot in an attempt to get her and Bulkhead separated.

"You've been magnetised? Together?" Ratchet asked on the com-link, having heard the whole story.

"I can't even get them a few inches away from each other." Willow muttered, earning a sigh from Arcee.

"And the device that did this is on it's way to Megatron." Bulkhead added.

(Linebreak)

"A Polarity Gauntlet. A deceptively simple, but diabolical creation." Ratchet realised as the Hexside Squad, Camila, Cliffjumper and Wheeljack were listening from nearby.

"Ain't that just our luck." Wheeljack muttered while shaking his head.

"I still don't understand how magnets work in the Human Realm." Gus admitted.

"Just tell me you can unhitch us, Ratchet." Arcee said.

"It may simply be residual magnetic charge providing your current… attraction." Ratchet replied.

"It's not that kind of attraction, just to let you know!" Willow stated.

"We all know." Cliffjumper assured.

"But I'm afraid retrieving the gauntlet is our surest bet for reversing the effect." Ratchet explained. "Once Megatron gets his hands on the gauntlet…"

"He'll use it for a whole lot more than attaching notes and family photos to the fridge." Luz finished.

"Mija, I don't really understand." Camila admitted.

"Lady, we're all living robots made of metal alloy." Wheeljack replied.

"Wheeljack is right. If Megatron could repel us with the flick of a switch, we might never again have another shot at him." Ratchet added.

"Kinda like an instant forcefield." Vee commented.

"In my defence, that's just cheating." Amity said.

"Worse yet, he might use it to melt us all into a scrap pile. The good news is the gauntlet hasn't traveled far." Ratchet said while looking at the main console, seeing the gauntlet's location signal. "I would strongly advise pursuit."

"Just be carful. Brawl might be low on brains, but he'll probably learn to use the gauntlet to literally pull you two apart with enough time." Cliffjumper warned.

(Linebreak)

Bulkhead understood when he heard this and stood straight while slamming his fists together.

"We can catch up faster on wheels!" Bulkhead stated.

"Whoa whoa whoa, and snap me in half?" Arcee questioned rhetorically.

"Right." Bulkhead replied with an awkward sigh.

"Don't worry, I'll lookout for you two." Willow said assuringly.

"Not this time, kid." Arcee answered.

"What?" Willow asked in disbelief. "But you said…"

"That was recon. This is war." Arcee interrupted. "I'm not risking your well-being just so you can escape your own boredom."

(Linebreak)

Back at base, Ratchet and the others listened in on their conversation.

"Ratchet, Willow needs a Bridge." Arcee informed.

"Coming up." Ratchet replied before walking towards the Ground Bridge controls.

"Ugh, you think Camila's a bit annoying? You're just as highly protective as she is!" Willow complained. "And she was right, you are a mother figure because of the same things you say!"

"Is that such a bad thing?" Camila asked with a surprised expression.

"Uh… I don't really wanna talk about this." Luz admitted awkwardly. "I'll be over here if you guys need me."

The Hispanic girl walked away as Camila turned to Amity, Gus, Hunter and Vee, who all smiled nervously in response.

"Look, I didn't say anything and neither did they." Wheeljack said, putting his hands up in defence.

"She knows, Jackie." Gus replied.

(Linebreak)

Meanwhile, Brawl was webbed up to an outdated building by Airachnid as the female Spider Con was now in possession of the Polarity Gauntlet.

"It fits! You know, a girl can never have too many accessories." Airachnid admitted as the gauntlet glowed orange.

"You were a Decepticon, once. We could bring the prize to Megatron together, if you want." Brawl offered.

"Go back to that boys club?" Airachnid repeated. "I struck out on my own because I don't like to share. This will provide the perfect repellent against Bots and Cons alike."

In the distance, Bulkhead was walking towards the gauntlet's location while holding a scanner to see where it was, while Arcee hung on his back.

"Never had eyes in the back of my head before, or blasters to cover my rear. And you get a built-in shield." Bulkhead said, trying to cheer Arcee up.

"Bulkhead, you don't think I'm just like Camila, do you?" Arcee asked.

"Uh…" Bulkhead muttered as he tried to come up with a response.

"She's only protective with Luz. I'm just… a little bit protective." Arcee said.

"Totally different." Bulkhead replied before he looked at the scanner. "The gauntlet's close."

Once they both arrived at the abandoned gas station, Bulkhead began looking around and only saw a few dusty parts with some cobwebs on them. When the dark-green Wrecker brought out his blaster and walked towards a certain abandoned building, he began hearing muffles nearby and turned to see Brawl stuck to the building by some webs, with some of the sticky fabric covering his face mask. Airachnid then showed up ontop of the building and crawled her way down with the Polarity Gauntlet in her hand.

"I assume Arcee isn't far behind." Airachnid said.

"You might say that." Bulkhead replied.

"Blaster hands in the air and turn around." Airachnid ordered, aiming the gauntlet.

"Whatever you say." Bulkhead said as he put his blaster away and put his hands up.

When he quickly turned around, Arcee began firing her blasters while still attached to the dark-green Wrecker's back and caused Airachnid to immediately retreat back, only for one of the shots to blast the Polarity Gauntlet out of her hand. The gauntlet was then activated on it's own and began using a powerful magnetic pulse to pull in everything that was metallic. Arcee, Bulkhead, Brawl and Airachnid struggled to keep themselves from being pulled in, but then the brutish Decepticon used the magnetic pull to free himself from the webs and then grabbed the gauntlet before shutting it off.

The final pull from the magnetic pulse made Arcee and Bulkhead get dragged back a bit, stopping in the center of both Decepticons as they prepared for a fight.

"Still up for a truce, tank boy?" Airachnid asked.

"Only because I hate Bots more than I hate you." Brawl replied as he brought out his spike hammer.

The brutish Decepticon swung his hammer at Bulkhead and smacked him in the face before the dark-green Wrecker responded with two quick punches. The two of them began exchanging blows with each other while Arcee blocked all of Airachnid's spider legs and landed a few successful strikes. But when Bulkhead was bashed a few times by Brawl, he began tossing and turning Arcee around.

"What the?!" Arcee questioned before she was punched by Airachnid and blocked one of her spider legs. "Bulkhead! Would you stay still?"

"My bad!" Bulkhead replied, punching Brawl away and turning towards Airachnid to face her next. "Need a hand?"

"No, she's mine!" Arcee stated.

While Bulkhead was busy fighting Airachnid, Brawl used the opportunity to activate the Polarity Gauntlet.

"Two Bots, one stone." Brawl said, aiming the glowing pulse at a nearby oil pump.

A piece of the giant machine was levitated away and Brawl threw it straight towards Arcee and Bulkhead.

"Bulk, duck!" Arcee called out.

Bulkhead turned around to see the oil pump and was unable to do anything as he was smacked in the head by the metallic piece, causing him to crash on his back with a painful groan and leave Arcee pinned.

"Bulkhead, get up!" Arcee said as she tried to free herself, only for Airachnid to press her foot down on her hand.

"Pinned like a bug. Of course, I can think of one permanent way out of your predicament." Airachnid said, preparing her spider legs for a fatal blow.

"I'll take topside." Brawl told her before bringing his spiked hammer down towards Bulkhead.

But then, Bulkhead grabbed the hammer with his bare hand and revealed to be fully conscious before tossing Brawl into Airachnid, causing the brutish Decepticon to drop the Polarity Gauntlet in the process. Arcee and Bulkhead then stood back up, showing to have finally separated from each other.

"I'm free." Arcee told Bulkhead with a smile.

The two Bots ran at the Decepticons to continue their fight. Brawl tried to get the gauntlet, but Arcee kicked it away and jumped right above the brutish Decepticon before kicking him down on the ground. The female Autobot delivered two punches to Brawl's face before he swiped her away. Airachnid focused her attention on the Polarity Gauntlet, which was now behind Bulkhead.

"Wanna dance?" Bulkhead asked tauntingly.

"You're not my type." Airachnid replied before spinning around and hitting Bulkhead with spider legs multiple times, getting past him.

"Scrap." Bulkhead muttered as Airachnid reached the gauntlet and grabbed it.

"Let's leave the boys to themselves." Airachnid said, aiming the gauntlet at Arcee and using it's magnetic powers on her.

Arcee didn't have another chance to hit Brawl as she was pulled towards Airachnid and her hand got attached to the gauntlet.

"That would be the up-close and personal setting." Airachnid commented before she and Arcee engaged in close-combat fighting.

Bulkhead and Brawl shouted loudly as they struggled to push each other back, until Brawl punched his foe in the face and gut. Bulkhead retaliated with his own fist attacks and they both kept trading blows before Brawl gave the dark-green Wrecker a powerful punch and sent him crashing back into some empty barrels. Once he got back on his feet and brought his blaster out, Bulkhead shot Brawl with a maximum charge and sent him crashing into an oil pumper.

Arcee was still battling against Airachnid and blocked most of the female Spider Con's attacks before using her wrist blade to slash her across the face, making more Energon leak out. Airachnid scowled frustratingly before throwing Arcee down as she was still connected to the Polarity Gauntlet. Arcee quickly avoided two of her incoming spider legs.

"One hand tied, five more to play with." Airachnid quipped, attempting to punch Arcee in the face and the female Autobot immediately dodged it.

"Quality, not quantity!" Arcee replied before pulling the gauntlet closer and turning it off.

She kicked Airachnid away and now had the Polarity Gauntlet in her hand before turning it back onto full power. Airachnid growled in anger and attempted to pounce on Arcee, only for her nemesis to use the gauntlet's magnetic powers to push her far away.

"Opposites do not attract." Arcee said to herself with a satisfied smile.

When Brawl fully recovered from his crash, he charged at Bulkhead with his hammer in hand as the dark-green Wrecker did the same with his wrecking ball. The two of them swung their weapons at each other once they got close enough, but some kind of magnetic force pushes them back before they could even land a hit. Brawl stopped himself and fired a tank missile from his back cannon, while Bulkhead tried putting his hands between it. The magnetic force from before made the missile fly back to Brawl and leave Bulkhead surprised. The brutish Decepticon braced for the impact, but the missile simply flew off him and soared into the air before exploding.

"We can't touch metal." Brawl said in surprise.

"We're polarised!" Bulkhead realised.

Arcee was about to use the Polarity Gauntlet again, but Airachnid caught it with a web shot and pulled it into her hand.

"Always leave on a high note." Airachnid said before transforming into her helicopter form and beginning to fly away.

"Bulkhead, the gauntlet!" Arcee stated.

Bulkhead chased after Airachnid and jumped across some buildings before leaping at the female Spider Con and grabbing onto her. Airachnid was beginning to get dragged down as Brawl attempted to run away from the area, only for Bulkhead to toss her at the brutish Decepticon and both Cons ended up crashing into a building. Arcee approached the Polarity Gauntlet, which was dropped by Airachnid during her crash, and picked it up before turning to the two unconscious Decepticons.

"Let's finish this." Bulkhead said.

"And risk becoming twins, again?" Arcee questioned as they both got ready to leave, but not before leaving the Cons with a little surprise.

(Linebreak)

Once they returned to the Autobot Base, Arcee handed the Polarity Gauntlet over to Ratchet.

"Souvenir." Bulkhead said. "But…"

"We don't advise indoor use." Arcee warned.

"Man, they even finish each other's sentences." Gus muttered. "You were right about those two, Willow."

"I told you." Willow replied with her arms crossed.

"Willow, check it out. New battle scars." Bulkhead told her while showing off a small scratch on his shoulder, causing Willow to take a picture on her Scroll.

"Are you absolutely sure you don't get jealous when Arcee and Bulkhead become partners on a mission, Cliff?" Amity asked her Autobot Guardian.

"Of course not. I'm totally fine with it." Cliffjumper assured as there was an awkward moment of silence between them. "…Okay, maybe just a little."

"Hey, Arcee. I heard you did a good job, today." Luz said with a smile as she walked up to her Autobot Guardian, only for her mother to show up beside her.

"Is it okay if I talk to her, Mija?" Camila asked.

"Uh… okay." Luz replied, shrugging a bit.

"Thank you." Camila said kindly before she approached Arcee. "Arcee, I think I owe you an apology."

"You do?" Arcee asked with a surprised expression.

"I've just been feeling a bit let down ever since Luz came back home with her friends. All I wanted was to make up for lost time and have some enjoyable moments like we used to in the younger days. Things haven't exactly been perfect for us when Luz's father passed away." Camila explained. "But, I guess I should've expected Luz to eventually grow out of our shell and finally have some friends who care a lot about her. I understand that you and the other Autobots have been keeping the children safe before I even knew you existed and I completely trust you to look after them."

"That's nice to hear, ma'am." Wheeljack replied while leaning against the wall.

"I think we've all been a little guilty about staying attached to the way things were." Arcee said, giving Camila a friendly smile.

Meanwhile on the Nemesis, Brawl was being escorted to Megatron by two Vehicons.

"Brawl, you dare to return empty handed?" Megatron asked with a mad expression.

"Not exactly, my liege." Brawl answered before he turned around and revealed Airachnid, who had been magnetised to his back.

"Airachnid. It has been some time." Megatron said.

"Lord Megatron." Airachnid greeted. "What can I say? It's good to be back."
