its warm out today Kagome thought as she set her stuff down by the river. how long have i been traveling again... hmm almost 2 years now since inuyasha chose Kikyo.

i decided to go my own way since the well wouldn't let me return. guess it might be time to make a trip back to endo. Kagome said in a huff i really don't want to see them again but i did want to start going west for awhile so back to endo it is .

after awhile she stood up and started walking back toward endo. was gonna take at least a week to get back if not a few extra days. Kagome thought

she continued to walk as days passed. she finally was within a day of endo and she decided to stop for a break. she hadn't rested since yesterday she thought. she found a nice tree and sat down underneath it. leaned against the tree with a big sigh she put up a barrier and fell asleep. she slept till an hour before sunset.

dang didn't realize i was so tired Kagome said

as she stood up and gathered her belongings. and started to the village. as she entered the village people had stopped, looked and waved at her like she was a long lost friend. looking down Kagome watch Kaede hut door open. Kaede and inuyasha walked out with Kikyo the old mike waved at them good bye then turning noticed Kagome atop the hill. she wave Kagome started down the hill towards her.

hello Kaede how have you been. Kagome asked

doing well besides these old bones and how have ye been. Kaede ask

better. helped some villages in the east that had a bad case of flu. Kagome said

and where ye heading to now. Kaede asked

to the west but hoping to rest for the night and gather supplies tomorrow . Kagome said

come child stay with me for the eve and we will get you supplies by noon tomorrow. she said with a smile

Kagome followed her into the hut it was cozy. just like she remembered not much has changed in here. Kagome thought to her self.

what are you heading to the west for Kaede asked

just going around helping where i can till i find where i belong. since inuyasha has moved on i don't feel needed here anymore. Kagome said

well i have heard of some news that one of lord Sesshomaru human villages further west could use some help . Kaede said

hmm do you have any idea whats going on. Kagome asked

they are unsure whats causing the sickness and it has even hit the western palace as well maybe you should pay a visit to lord Sesshomaru

can you send a currier tonight so i don't show up unannounced Kagome asked

indeed child i can Kaede said

after Kagome had a good meal she rolled out her mat in the front room .

thank you for everything Kaede. Kagome said

not a problem child get some rest we will talk in the morning. Kaede said walking into her room goodnight child

Kagome laid down and fell asleep, Kaede went back into the room and saw her asleep and left the hut to find the currier to send the message. once Kaede had sent the message she took herself to bed but not before a prayer.
