Hallway
"A little overdramatic don't you think?" Misty asked as Ben and Yusei approached her. "With that performance I'm sure you will be appearing in the nightmares of many children."
"The mood kinda called for it, besides I'm sure summoning Ccapac isn't the scariest thing kids have seen. At least this generation of kids." Ben said
"Ominous performance aside, that was a great Duel. You too Yusei." Misty said
"Thank you." Yusei said
"So I heard you have some free time before your Duel with Jack. What do you intend to do with it?" Misty asked
"I don't know, got any plans Yusei?" Ben asked
"I think I'm going to meet Goodwin for some answers." Yusei said cracking his knuckles
"You know his security won't let you in right?" Ben asked smiling slightly
"I'm counting on it." Yusei said
"I don't like where this is going." Misty said
Hallway to Goodwin
Guarding the door to the VIP Room, are two guards who noticed Yusei running towards them with Ben and Misty not far behind
"Hey, hold it! The Director isn't expecting anyone!" One of the Guard's said
"Sorry, But he's got some explaining to do!" Yusei said upper cutting the first guard before delivering a series of combos to the other knocking them unconscious.
"Ah yes, the first protagonist to throw hands first before dueling." Ben said glad he could witness the scene in 4k
"Isn't that illegal?" Misty asked running alongside Ben
"Probably, but who's going to arrest him?" Ben asked
"Aren't you part of Sector Security?" Misty asked
"Well then, by the power invested in me as an Officer of the law, I hereby declare Yusei's use of his fist legal." Ben said
"I'm quite certain that's not how it works." Misty said rolling her eyes
Goodwin's VIP Room
"Director? Look, sir, there's something I've gotta say," Tetsu said standing behind Goodwin. "It's my official position that you need to stop this tournament."
"I thought your official position was mall security." Rex said
"Very funny," Tetsu said. "But I feel this tournament is cursed or something! You witnessed the damage from Ben and Akiza's Duel! I'm concerned things are gonna get worse!"
"Officer, I don't pay you to be concerned." Rex said
"But sir-"
"I pay you to do what I say," Rex said taking a sip from his drink. "And as for what you think, if I was going to pay someone to do some thinking, it most certainly would not be you. Langley, please escort Officer Tetsu out."
"Is Langley one of the guys guarding the door?"
Everyone present turned in surprise as Yusei walked coolly into the room. "Cause...uh, he's napping."
"What're you doing up here, punk?" Tetsu growled grabbing Yusei by his shirt.
"That's enough," Rex said sternly causing Tetsu to let go of Yusei. "Yusei, what can I do for you?"
"Before I say, weren't you about to throw him out?" Yusei asked, jabbing his thumb at Tetsu as Goodwin signaled his guards to take him out
"Gaahhh! That's it, Goodwin! I'm gonna figure out what you're up to! You're going down! You're gonna-"
"Xup Tetsu." Ben said as all eyes turned to him and Misty who just entered the room
"Kid, what the hell are you doing here?" Tetsu asked
"If it's not too much, can I request that Officer Tetsu stay?" Ben asked as Rex signaled his guards to let go of Tetsu and leave
"Thanks kid, looks like I owe you one." Tetsu said rubbing his wrist
"Don't sweat it." Ben said
"You know, I still don't get how you get along with him." Yusei said
"Come on, he's not that much of an asshole when you get to know him." Ben joked
"I honestly don't know if that was a compliment or an insult." Tetsu said glaring at Ben
"Both is good." Ben said
"Time to talk," Yusei said, facing Rex . "You forced me into this tournament. You threatened me and you locked up my friends. I wanna know the truth especially now that I won't be dueling Jack."
"Are you dense, Yusei?" Jack said, standing up. "It's because of this," He pulled down his sleeve, revealing the wings marked on it. "This mark."
"So I wasn't seeing things before!" Whispered Yusei, looking at his own arm
"He wants the Crimson Dragon's power, so he's been trying to gather everyone with its mark! He got me here by lying to me and buttering me up and manipulating me." Jack said
"Oh come on, you're making me sound so devious," Rex chuckled. "Jack, you were the one who asked for this. You wanted to be the Turbo Duel Champion."
"Yeah" Jack said glaring at Rex. "But I wanted to earn that title. At this point, I'm starting to think that you've been rigging everything. The kidnapping, the selected competitors, it was all planned." He then looked over to Yusei. "And it was all for one thing, you."
"Me?" Yusei asked in confusion.
"Goodwin knew that you would come after me if I did everything exactly as he asked me to. Isn't that right, Director?" Jack looked at Rex
"Don't be ridiculous." Rex shook his head. "I didn't even know about Yusei until you Dueled him that night in the arena."
"Do you honestly expect me to believe that this is all some big coincidence?" Jack asked. "You needed to verify that Yusei had a mark, so you needed him and I to Duel, so you created a situation in which the stakes would be as high as possible."
"You got what you wanted," Jack pointed to Yusei. "He's here, right? Let his friends go. You've already confirmed he's a Signer from his last Duel. As for my next Duel I want it to be legit. No threats, no gimmicks, just me."
"If that is what my champion wants, then so shall it be." Rex said while nodding
"And you." Jack turned to Ben. "I don't expect you to slack around during our match."
"Whatever you say man." Ben nonchalantly said
"And Yusei. We still have a score to settle after I beat him." Jack said referring to Ben
"Jeez, thanks for the vote of confidence." Ben sarcastically replied
With Rua and Ruka
"Hey, sorry you guys couldn't leave. In the meantime though, I brought some snacks to cheer you up." Ben said approaching the group
"Thanks kiddo." Yanagi said accepting the snacks
"So you're Ben. That last Duel of yours was quite overwhelming." Tanner said
"A little scary too." Dexter added
"Sorry, it just kinda happened. Well then this is actually the first time I'm meeting you guys. Well besides Rua and Ruka that is." Ben said
"The name's Tanner. Old man here is Yanagi." Tanner said causing Yanagi to wave
"And I'm Dexter." The Boy said
"Nice to meet you all." Ben said
"So you're a Signer?" Yanagi asked
"Not really. I'm kinda different." Ben said
"So, you looking forward to your Duel with Jack?" Tanner asked
"Not really. Yusei was the one I was actually looking forward to Duel and he didn't disappoint." Ben said
"Seriously? You're not at the very least excited to Duel Jack?" Dexter asked
"I'm not really a fan of him. Dude's a major jerk." Ben said
"You got that right." Tanner said
"Though in the meantime, I'll try to enjoy the match." Ben said
"Beat him for Yusei will ya." Tanner said
"Sure thing. See you guys later." Ben said as he left
Arena
"This is where it all comes to, everyone! The long awaited Duel between champion and rookie is about to begin!" The MC announced
"Rookie? Who's he calling a rookie!" Fader complained
"Well technically, I am a rookie when it comes to Turbo dueling." Ben said
"Rookie or not, let's humble their King." Resonator said
From both their spots, Jack gripped his handle bars with Ben doing the same. From the corner of his eye Ben observed Jack.
"Maybe I should cut him some slack. Dude's been through a lot as well." Ben thought
"This is it! I'm finally gonna show you that you don't have what it takes to be the best." Jack shouted. "You never have!"
"Okay screw this, I'm going all out." Ben thought
"Alright! It's time to activate the Speed World field spell!" Yelled the MC into his mic. Whipping out their cards, they slapped their spell cards down and planes of purple energy surrounded them.
Duel Mode Engaged, Autopilot Standing By
"This is the moment we've all been waiting for folks. Will Jack Atlas continue to reign as the king of Turbo-Duels? Or will he be de-throne by Sector Security's Demon!" The MC announced
"Demon eh? Fitting." Ben said
Not a moment later their Runners took off and the crowd began to cheer.
"Let's Duel!"

"I'll draw. I'll summon Lancer Archfiend in attack mode." Jack said

"I'll now place two facedowns and end my turn." Jack announced

"I'll draw. I'll summon Dark Resonator in attack position." Ben said

"I'll now play Dark World Dealings to discard Sillva, Warlord of Dark World to special summon him to the field." Ben said
Sillva D.W (2300Atk/1400Def/Lvl5/Dark/Fiend)
"Sillva destroy his monster." Ben commanded

"Now Resonator, attack him directly." Ben said
"I activate my trap, Powerful Rebirth to special summon a level four monster from my graveyard. That monster also gains an extra level." Jack said causing Ben to cease his attack
Lancer Archfiend (1600Atk/1400Def/Lvl5/Dark/Fiend)
"If that's the case, I'll now Synchro Summon Dark Resonator with Sillva to summon a monster. Arise Demon King Dragon, Beelze." Ben said as the Serpent Like Dragon with two heads appeared
Demon K.D Beelze (3000Atk/3000Def/Lvl8/Dark/Dragon)
"It seems like Ben isn't wasting anytime!" The MC said
"I'll place two facedowns and end my turn." Ben said

"I'll draw. I'm impressed Officer, but I'm afraid that's the only life points you'll be taking. I'll summon Influence Dragon in attack position."
Influence Dragon (300Atk/900Def/Lvl3/Wind/Dragon)
"Now, I'll tune influence Dragon with Lancer to Synchro Summon Red Archfiend Dragon." Jack said as his Signer Mark glowed
Red Archfiend Dragon (3000Atk/2000Def/Lvl8/Dark/Dragon)
"It seems it has now become a Battle of Dragons. The question now is, which dragon will be victorious?!" The MC Yelled
"Tell me Officer, why do you Duel?" Jack asked
Raising a brow at the question, Ben just stared at Jack for a while before answering
"Honestly, I don't know. But I don't care regardless as I know I'll find something worth dueling for in time." Ben said
"If you don't care, then you don't deserve to win this Duel." Jack said
"That's for me to know and you to find out." Ben said as cracks of thunder shattered through the air, red bolts of lightning stitching the skies. A gaint shard of crimson-red light pierced the air and almost struck the two Duelists.
"Here it comes." Jack muttered
"Guess we're about to have a real Duel." Ben said activating his Marks
With that the Crimson Dragon let out a roar that shook the arena as it started flying beside Jack and Ben. At that moment the Dragon stared at Ben like it was observing him.
"I see it, but I do not believe it!" The MC Cried
"The Crimson Dragon!" Yanagi shouted "It's huge!"
Ruka cried out, clutching her glowing arm to her chest. Similar to Ruka, the other Signers were experiencing the exact same thing.
"It can't be," Sayer looked upon the Dragon. "They actually awakened you."
"Crimson Dragon, welcome to my arena!" Jack announced. "Now watch and witness how your future master rules this Duel! Watch as this king claims what is rightfully his!"
"This guy is really full of himself." Fader said getting tired of Jack
"Dude, you need to chill." Ben said
"Don't tell me you're scared!" Jack yelled. "I am a Signer, Officer Ben, and this is my destiny! Goodwin told me that the power of the Crimson Dragon will help me save this world!"
"This is getting nowhere." Ben thought
The roar of the Crimson Dragon caught their attention, as their Runners got grabbed by the claws of the Dragon. A simple wind blew, and they were teleported away.
"Where are we?" Jack asked observing their current location
"Beats me." Ben whispered as three sudden orbs of red light flew above them. Taking form, Yusei, Akiza and Ruka were now flying above them as they raced within the space.
"Where's the stadium?" Ruka asked, scared and looking around. "What's going on?"
"Why am I here? Akiza asked
Shinning in sky was the only star that was a haunting shade of red, the land before them morphing into a land of ruins with a large temple scaling to the skies, while many people that looked like Bommer's brethren appeared.
"They look exactly like the People of the Stars!" Jack observed.
"What are they doing here?" Yusei asked, gasping when he saw five of the natives' arms glowing with the Marks of the Dragon.
"Hey, Jack! They're all Signers!" Yusei yelled
"Like us!" Jack's eyes were looking at the mark identical to his own. "Goodwin told me about these people! He said somehow we're all linked to the Crimson Dragon!"
The scene was wiped away, transforming into a demolished city.
"Down there looks a lot like the Satellite, Jack." Yusei said. A dark purple fire suddenly swarmed around the city, igniting the area and drawing the shape of a Spider.
"Look there! Is that a giant spider surrounding the Satellite?" Akiza said.
"I can't believe this is happening!" Yusei said. "We have to stop it!"
"It can't be real!" Jack shook his head. "Perhaps it's the future!"
"Well if that's the future, then you'd better stop this Duel right now!" Yusei said. "We gotta get home!"
"We will…" Jack nodded. "Once I finish this Duel!"
"What?" Yusei asked
"It's fine Yusei. I doubt this Dragon will let us go until this Duel is over." Ben said
"That's more like it. Now I'll activate Assault Mode Activate." Jack said as Red Archfiend Dragon took on an armoured form
Red Archfiend Dragon/Assault Mode (3500Atk/2500Def/Lvl10/Dark/Dragon)
"Red Archfiend Dragon destroy his monster." Jack said as his Dragon attacked reducing Ben's life points but didn't destroy his monster

"Second time I'm receiving real damage today." Ben thought ignoring the pain
"That attack right now, it was real." Akiza observed
"This isn't good." Yusei said
"Be careful Ben." Akiza thought
"Why is your Dragon still standing?" Jack asked
"Beelze can't be destroyed by battle. Also it gains what ever battle or effect damage I receive as attack points." Ben said
Demon K.D Beelze (3500Atk/3000Def/Lvl8/Dark/Dragon)
"In that case, I activate the speed-spell, Overboost!" Jack yelled, activating his next card. "So now I get four extra speed-counters this round.

Ben:3500 (S.C:1)
"With that much power, there's no telling what he'll play next!" Yusei gulped.
"Ben doesn't seem worried." Ruka observed and true to her words, he didn't even seem to be showing any form of emotion
"Get ready for me to call on one of my favorites!" Jack yelled. activating the card in his hand. "Now from my hand, I play the speed-spell, End of Storm! And with the power of this card, Ben, I can now put you in your place! And since first-place is going to be all mine, I guess that you'll have to settle for second!" But nothing happened
"What's going on?" Jack asked in surprise
"I think I forgot to mention that Beelze also can't be destroyed by card effect." Ben said
"What?!" All the Signers yelled in unison
"Then I'll play two facedowns and end my turn." Jack said gritting his teeth
"I'll activate Compulsory Evacuation Device to return your monster back to your hand." Ben said causing Jack's eye to widen

Ben:3500 (S.C:2)
"I'll draw. Since I'm feeling toxic I'll activate Monster Reborn to summon Red Archfiend Dragon from your graveyard to my field." Ben said summoning Jack's monster
"Now Red Archfiend Dragon attack his life points directly." Ben ordered
Jack:300 (S.C:10)
Ben:3500 (S.C:2)
Jack stumbled on his Runner due to the attack while gritting his teeth at the pain
"Beelze end this Duel." Ben said as his monster attacked
"I play Crimson Fire! Not only does it block your attack, but it boomerangs it right back to you, at double the damage! Guess I win" Jack said smiling but that smile slowly disappeared as Ben still looked un bordered
"I'll activate my counter trap Dark Bribe to negate your trap effect." Ben said simply
"No!"

The blinding light broke out through the arena, and everyone in it were held in shock as Jack Atlas's Runner came tumbling along the field, miraculously landing on its side with its rider hunched and crumpled.
In the middle of the field, the crowd noticed Red Archfiend Dragon and Beelze standing on Ben's side of the field.
"Ladies and gentlemen, we seem to be experiencing some, err…technical difficulties at this moment. Your patience is appreciated as we try to sort this matter out," The MC said. "Can someone tell me why Jack Atlas Dragon is on his opponent's field!"
"What Just Happened?" Tanner asked
"First they were Dueling, then they disappeared" Yanagi said, at a loss of words himself.
"Look at the score! Check out Jack's Life-Points!" Rua yelled

Ben:3500 (S.C:2)
"Is that the right score?" Dexter asked
"Ben won." Ruka said. "He's the champion now."
"He survived" Akiza sighed in relief and fell back in her pod
"He won?" Sayer asked. "He is really going to be a valuable asset to the Arcadia Movement."
"Jack LOST!?" Yeager cried, shocked beyond all comprehension while Goodwin just observed the spectacle without uttering a word
"He's safe." Misty signed in relief
