Daydreaming – chapter 6
Nathan was daydreaming, this morning he was so excited and happy that even the strawberry pancakes, which his niece Alien loved, he decided to make before his rounds, a nice coffee for his precious girl along with eggs, bread and bacon.
"Um...I guess someone woke up happy today?" An Alien all dressed up for school appeared out of nowhere.
"Yeah… hum… I…" and looking her niece in the eyes and seeing that there was also a light of happiness there, she smiled and said:
"I've never been happier than today and last night at our family dinner, it was the most amazing thing I've ever had as a man." And kissing Alien's head several times making his hair all messed up.
"Uncle Nathan, I always wanted to see you happy like this and I always wanted to have a family, and to tell you the truth I love Mrs. Thorton and little Jack like a brother, I love the idea of her being my mother., I look like I'm going to fly.
"Alien, just don't forget that at school you have to respect her, because she's your teacher, it's her job. Another thing, me and her, you know we're adults, and we need to work out our issues, but we're at the beginning of something, let's take it easy, okay?"
"Okay Uncle Nathan". And so they sat down to have that delicious breakfast.
As Nathan had woken up early, it took him a while to think that everything that had happened at dinner the night before or at Elizabeth's house was not a mere dream and when he realized that it was not a dream, he went straight to the stable in the city, still in bed. dawn, to pick up Newton and went to a certain place where there was a lilac aster field that always reminded him of his Lizbeth, he harvested and together with Alien they went straight to school.
"How would she react? Was she sorry? How am I going to face her after those delicious and hot kisses?" And Nathan was still with his niece, but his thoughts kept asking questions...
A bell was heard and Nathan smiling raised his head and saw the most beautiful woman in the world, she was wearing a light green skirt, a white blouse with small golden buttons, her hair was tied in a loose braid with a green ribbon, her smile was for each child that entered, and she said something to each of these children, she would have to ask Alien about it because she just got intrigued. Alien ran to school, forgetting about his uncle, he saw her pass by Lizbeth and get a hug. Nathan noticed Elizabeth looking at the bottom of the stairs and looking straight at him, she smiled... That smile, it was a smile that caught his attention, it was as if it said come to me and that's what Nathan did, he climbed the stairs of two by two arriving in front of his Lizbeth, without taking his eyes off her eyes and from behind his hat he took out and handed her a lilac aster master. She feasted her eyes admiringly on the flowers, felt the perfume of the flowers and looked into the room where she noticed that the children were busy, and looking deep into Nathan's green eyes, Elizabeth on tiptoes reached his mouth and kissed him softly. and saying thank you, she turned around smiling and walked into the school to her class.
Nathan was frozen in place, this woman would be the death of him. And so he went to the police station to start his morning rounds with his heart pounding with love for that woman. She made my day a great day...
