Quinn arrived back on campus and fed Herman; Zoey asked if she had heard about Logan and Michael's latest scheme.

"No?" she asked wearily.

Quinn could only imagine what kind of foolery those two would get themselves into.

Zoey shook her head, "You have to see it to believe it. Come on."

Led by her friend, they found them after the fact. Clearly, their plan failed again. Quinn hadn't been surprised by this one; neither one of them seemed to have the skills to build a robot arm. If only they'd asked her, she would have assembled one for them easily.

Alongside Zoey, she decided to talk to Vince once and for all. Unfortunately, that didn't go according to plan, either. To her begrudged surprise, he was just as nice as Lola had described. Nicer, even. They sat and talked about his experiences in teen therapy and all of the work he did for children and reading to the elderly. He seemed like he really wanted to turn over a new leaf.

Maybe it was because of the situation she was in, now, but she believed him. Logan had changed - at least in her eyes - in the last month. He was nicer, softer, sweeter. At least with her.

So, with her tail between her legs and gummy bears in her pocket, she had to go deliver the news that she had joined the traitor's side. Michael kicked them out of the room, and Quinn left sadly. She felt like a horrible girlfriend. Logan had told her exactly how Vince made him feel and she betrayed him.

Are you awake?

She texted him later that night. She needed to talk to him.

It took a minute, but he answered, Yeah

Her stomach dropped. Even in text form, she could tell that he was upset. She couldn't blame him.

Come to the window

Hoping he'd hurry, Quinn was hidden in the bushes outside of his window. She'd activated The Quinnisonic 2000 again and snuck out in hopes of making amends with her boyfriend.

He opened the window and looked at her with wide eyes, "What are you doing in a bush?"

"Are you mad at me?"

He didn't answer at first.

"Logan?"

Then he sighed, "I'm not mad at you. I'm confused."

That was almost as bad as if he had said he was disappointed in her.

She bit her lip, "I'm sorry. Michael was right to kick us out of the room."

"No. Michael was an idiot for that," Logan looked back and then decided to crawl out of the window.

Quinn reached up to help him ease to the ground, but he still rattled the bushes a little on the landing. He laughed and the tension eased in her shoulders as she laughed softly along with him, shushing him.

"Are you okay?" She looked him over, noticing a few scratches on his knee from the bushes, "You're bleeding."

"It's nothing," Logan shrugged it off. He looked at her. "Michael shouldn't have kicked you guys out. He's just really invested in this whole comeuppance thing."

Quinn tilted her head, confused, "Aren't you?" He was a few hours ago. Had something changed?

He looked down for a minute, then shrugged, "I don't know anymore."

Was this because of her?

"Baby," she paused as she watched his head pop up to look at her. He'd called her that a few times, but she realized that had been the first time she'd returned the pet name. He smiled at her… that adorable dopey smile paired with those even more adorable puppy dog eyes.

Her hand reached out to tangle in his hair, "Baby, just because I think Vince is a changed man doesn't mean you have to." It felt weird to say because, logically, she should be trying to convince Logan to give Vince a chance. To see reason. But she was in girlfriend brain. And for some reason, to her, that meant she had to be blindly supportive.

That didn't feel right, either, so she decided for the middle ground, "But I think that this whole vendetta… comeuppance thing is silly."

"You do?"

She could see the hurt in his eyes and hear it in his voice.

It killed her, "I'm sorry." She rubbed his arm. She knew there was a difference between being supportive and lying to her. Quinn sighed, "Still, that doesn't mean I can stop you. If it's something you feel you need to do."

She didn't understand it, but she didn't have to. It seemed to satisfy him enough, though.

He nodded and looked up at the window, "I should get back to bed."

"Okay."

He leaned in to kiss her forehead before he stood back up, dusted himself off, and climbed back in the window. She frowned. He didn't kiss her goodbye, and she knew what that meant. Even though she hadn't lied to him, he lied to her.

He was mad.

That grew even more apparent the next day when he didn't send her his normal good morning text. He hardly looked at her during breakfast and had bolted off so fast she didn't even get a chance to talk to him.

By the afternoon, James had filled her in about their latest plan and figured out that nothing she'd said the night before settled in. Despite telling him all of this revenge planning was silly, he and Michael were still at it. Filled with a little anger that he'd been ignoring her all day, she sat with Vince and Lola, as well as James and Zoey, later that afternoon.

The plan was apparently supposed to go down, though Quinn had warned Blake not to give into it. To her, the whole thing was stupid, immature, and idiotic. Or maybe she was just clouded by the resentment she had at the fact that Logan had told his first lie to her.

In the end, Logan got an apology… but he also got covered in mustard and croutons. Although Quinn laughed at the sight, she watched him stomp off with Michael and sighed.

"Does this mean it's over?" she asked

Vince nodded, still laughing, "I think so. I apologized."

That meant that Logan needed to apologize to her, too. At least if he wanted this relationship to still work. He did want that, right?
