====The Next Day====

Naruto and Karin walking down the street to go pick someone up. They talked about many things along the way. They reached an apartment place and a woman opened the door, Yugao Uzuki. Yugao ia an ANBU of Konoha, she is a young woman with straight, purple hair reaching down to her waist, warm brown eyes, and a dark shade of red lipstick. She has her standard ANBU uniform on, along with its signature ANBU tattoo on her right shoulder.

"Hi Yugao nee-chan, we are here to pick up a boy to take with us to the academy," Naruto said.

"She is your older sister," Karin questioned.

"You must be Karin, Hokage-sama, was so excited to see you awake, no I'm not his blood sister, but his mother trained me so he is like my little brother," Yugao said.

"I see," Karin said.

"So who is the kid we are walking to the academy with, we're going to be late if he doesn't hurry, ya'know," Naruto said.

"His name is Haku Yuki, he is the only surviver of the Yuki clan, people you could use a kekki genki called Ice release," Yugao said.

"That's cool," Karin said. Then from behind Yugao, a boy with long hair was squeezing through the only way to exit the home.

"Yugao-san, can you please move? I have to get to the academy," said the boy, it was Haku.

"You must be Haku. It is nice to meet you," Karin said.

"It is nice to meet you too, umm…" Haku said,

"Karin and this is my cousin Naruto," Karin said, "Now come on, let's get going before we are late to the academy." Naruto subconsciously shuddered at the thought.

'Iruka-sensei is so terrifying sometimes when he's mad,' Naruto thought.

"You're such a wimp, once you get better at your taijutsu, I'm sure you could bet him up," Kurama said.

'Shut up Kyu, you're thousands of years old you can be talking,' Naruto thought, afterward, he cut the connection before the giant fox could say more.

"So Naruto, Karin said your mother's were sisters, who's your father," Haku asked Naruto.

"My Tou-san is the Hokage," Naruto said. Haku could see the similarities, mainly the hair.

"I heard yesterday from some of the shinobi, that they were adding medical ninjutsu as something you could learn in your last year, I'm pretty go at medicine so I might do that," Haku said.

"Well, I have this weird thing with my blood, could keep this between us," Karin asked, both of the boys nodded, "Well, if someone bites me, they can heal almost any wound, so I think that is why I am going with medical ninjutsu."

"Tou-san said that I am a ninjutsu powerhouse, because of all the chakra I have, I also have a great interest fuinjutsu, so I think I might be a sealing specialist," Naruto said. They continued walking to the academy while talking about other things.

====Hokage Office====

Minato was sitting again in the Hokage office. He was staring at two people, one of them was just looking at Minato with shock in his eyes and the other had an angry expression their face, they had a woman holding a pig looking worriedly at the angry person.

The one on the left was Senju Tsunade, the slug sannin and the last Senju. Tsunade is a fair-skinned woman with brown eyes and straight blonde hair that parts above her forehead. Her hair has shoulder-length bangs that frame her face and the rest reaches her lower back. Tsunade is a slender woman of curvaceous frame, above-average height, and noticeably large breasts. She wears a grass-green haori with the kanji for gamble on the back inside a red circle. Underneath she wears a grey, kimono-style blouse with no sleeves, held closed by a broad, dark bluish-grey obi that matches her pants. Her blouse is closed quite low, revealing her sizable cleavage. She wears open-toed, strapped black sandals with high heels. She has red nail polish on both her fingernails and toenails and uses soft pink lipstick, she wears the First Hokage's necklace around her neck.

The one on the right was Jiraiya, the toad sannin and one of the very few sages in Konoha's history. Jiraiya is a tall and well-built man with fair skin. He wore waist length, spiky whiter hair that he usually ties back into a pony tail, with two shoulder-length bangs framing his face. There are red lines under his eyes which extended further down his face as he got older, going all that way to the bottom his face. he has wrinkles and a wart on the left side of his nose. He wore hand guards, a black belt, traditional Japanese wooden sandals, and a red haori with two yellow circles on each sided. He wore s horned forehead protector with the kanji for oil, with denoted his affiliation with Mount Myoboku.

Next to Tsunade was Shizune, a fair-skinned woman of average height and slender build with onyx eyes and jet-black hair: her hair is straight and shoulder-length with bangs that cover her ears and frame her face. Shizune is wearing a long bluish-black kimono with white trimmings, held closed by a white obi, and open-toed sandals with low heels, however she doesn't wear a forehead protector.

She was holding her pet pig Tonton, a light pinkish color, much like any other ordinary pig. Her cheeks blush a darker shade of the same tint as her skin. She is always seen wearing a pearl collar and a dark red jacket.

"Minato, I heard rumors that you were alive but when Sarutobi-sensei gave up his title back you I just had to come and see," Jiraiya said.

"Tell us what you want brat and we'll be on our way," Tsunade said.

"Well, I was wondering if you would be willing to stay here, Tsunade, you haven't done missions for the village for sometime, so it can be considered that you are missing ninja and i can have you put in jail, Jiraiya, you too," Minato said, they both began to shout until Minato raised his hand to silence them, "But I can let you out of this on one condition."

"What would that be Minato," Jiraiya said in an agitated voice.

"Well, I want both of you to teach at the academy," Minato said, "We added some new courses, Jiraiya, I want you teach fuinjutsu, Tsunade, I want you to teach medical ninjutsu."

"I refuse to teach—," before Tsunade could finish, Minato cut her ofF.

"Then I will simply have my ANBU take you to our prison, I refuse to keep to of our best ninja in the village away from us, that is final, you will be stay at my place until the Senju compound is finished being fix up," Minato said as he released a little bit of killing intent, "Are. We. Clear."

"We understand Minato," Jiraiya said, "Is there a chance I could see Naruto, the council refused to let me see him so…" Minato smiled at his sensei.

"Sorry Jiraiya-sensei, but Naruto is at the academy, he won't be back till 3:30, but for now I would like you to fix up our security with seals and Tsunade to head to the hospital with young Shizune here," Minato said, "I will have ANBU guarding you to make sure you don't try to leave."

====Academy====

"Alright, be QUIET," yelled Iruka. Everyone in the classroom became quiet and rushed to their seats. Next to Iruka were Karin, Haku, and a girl named Tamaki, she has brown hair that is shoulder-length and hazel eyes. She is wearing an orange sleeveless blouse with a dark red shorts, fishnet stockings, and sandals.

"Today, we have three new students coming to the academy," Iruka said, then turned to them, "Introduce yourselves to the class."

"Hi, I'm Haku Yuki, I'm the last member of the Yuki clan," Haku said as he waved to the class, "Oh, and I'm a boy." All the kids, except for Naruto and Karin, were shocked.

"Hey, I'm Karin Uzumaki, and I'm Naruto's cousin," Karin said, some of the kids in the class room looked at her with shocked looks, others with disgust for being related to the so called demon.

"I'm Tamaki, and I like cats," Tamaki said.

"Hahaha, well everyone knows that dogs are better," Kiba said.

"Kiba, will you just shut up so that Iruka-sensei can start the lesson for those of us that want to learn," Naruto said in a calm voice as he was reading his fuinjutsu book.

"You three go find some seats," Iruka said. Karin and Haku sat next to Naruto and Tamaki sat in the same table as Sasuke. Iruka began the lesson on the Yodaime Hokage.

====Later That Day In The Academy====

"Alright everyone, today is the day that you can start to specialize in a certain types of things, such as genjutsu and we also have a program for people who use animals,' Iruka said, "We had to change things in the curriculum, again this year."

"Who would like to do fuinjutsu, for of you that don't know, fuinjutsu is sealing jutsu, something that Jiraiya of the sannin is a master at," Iruka said. Naruto was the only one to raise his hand, Iruka wrote this down in his clipboard.

"Who would like to do genjutsu," Iruka said. Shikamaru and Hinata were the only one to raise their hands, Iruka wrote this down.

"Who is going to do kenjutsu," Iruka said. Sasuke and Choji raised their hands and Iruka wrote it down.

"Who would like to do the new program," Iruka said. Shino, Kiba, Tamaki raised their hands, Iruka was really surprised and wrote it down.

"Who would like to do medical ninjutsu," Iruka said. Ino, Sakura, Karin and Haku raised their hands and Iruka wrote it all down, then the 3:00 bell rang and everyone started to rush out. Naruto, Haku and Karin walked together until Haku had to head in a different direction. Naruto and Karin walked in silence until Karin spoke up.

"I'm sorry Naruto that you have to do the fuinjutsu class on your own, it is something our clan did and we should be doing it together," Karin said.

"It's alright Karin-chan, you seem like more of a medical ninja that a fuinjutsu specialist, do what your heart tells you to do, not something your family does, I find joy out of doing fuinjutsu, maybe you will find joy in being a medical ninja," Naruto said, still looking forward.

"You're not mad," Karin questioned.

"Of course not Karin-chan," Naruto said, he turned to her and smiled his characteristic smile, "Race you home?"

"You're on," Karin said, then they raced to the Uzumaki-Namikaze estate.

====Uzumaki-Namikaze Estate====

Naruto and Karin inside the house and were met with Tsunade and Jiraiya's face. They were shocked when they saw Karin, thinking she was Kushina.

"Ku-Kushina," Jiraiya said.

"My name is Karin Uzumaki, I'm Naruto's cousin," Karin said. They made Jiraiya and Tsunade faces drop to a sad look, they were thinking that if Minato was alive that Kushina might have survived and that she just came back younger.

"Alright, what do you what godfather," Naruto spat, Jiraiya flinched at the title.

"Well, Naruto, me and Tsu-hime here are going be living here until further notice," Jiraiya said.

"I don't care if the slug sannin talks to me, I don't want you to talk to me, are we clear," Naruto said in a deadly voice.

'This kid is so much like his father, yet some much like his mother, it is almost unbelievable,' Tsunade thought. Jiraiya flinched and again and looked down, he knew that he should he been there to raise Naruto, but he was to afraid of what the council might do.

"Naruto, I'm—," Naruto cut Jiraiya off before he could finish.

"I don't want your sorry godfather," Naruto said. The door of the house opened and in came Minato, who put a confused look on after looking at the sight.

"I'm going to my room," Naruto said, then he ran up the stairs to his room.

"Jiraiya-sensei, what did you say to Naruto," Minato asked.

"This idiot tried to apologize for not being there for Naruto," Tsunade said.

"Sensei, your suppose to be smart. Why would you try to do that? You do realized that I might have forgiven you, but he hasn't, just give him sometime," Minato said, "Anyways, you will have plenty of time to make it to him, Naruto was the only one to choose fuinjutsu."

"Really! That great!" Jiraiya said happily.

"Naruto has already finished the 1-3 fuinjutsu book, I gave him 4-6 this morning," Minato said, "He is like a prodigy in fuinjutsu, I'm surprised Sarutobi-san never introduced him to fuinjutsu."

"Well, I have to go to the hospital," Tsunade said, "When do I start teaching?"

"There are only two months left till school gets out, so next year," Minato said.

"Alright, then all we have to do is wait," Jiraiya said, then he kicked his feet on top of the table and placed his hands on the back of his neck.

====The Following Year: First Day====

Naruto was jumping on the roof tops with Karin and Haku heading to the academy.

"So are you guys excited to start our new subjects?" Karin asked.

"I guess, but seeing as I am a level 8 sealing master, I will be able to focus more on chakra control and the things Iruka-sensei will teach us that we need for the genin test," Naruto said.

"Did you what happen to the head of the Uchiha clan, Fugaku Uchiha?" Haku asked.

"Yeah we heard, Minato-oji sounded very pissed when came home," Karin said.

"Well, Mikoto-oba was close friends with my Ka-chan, and Tou-san said that they are making Shisui Uchiha the clan head until Itachi nii-san is old enough to lead the clan," Naruto said, "So he is dealing with a lot of paper work and stress."

"I can't believe that he would try to kill his own wife though," Karin said.

"Well, from what Yugao-san told me, Fugaku was very power hungry and would anything for it," Haku said.

"I read in a book that was in Mikoto-oba's house that there is a higher level sharigan that goes beyond the three tomoe, and Madara Uchiha was the first one," Naruto said, this caught the other two's interest, "It is call the Mangekyou Sharigan, and the only way to get it is if you kill some one close to you."

"Incredible," Karin said.

"I just hope this Shisui isn't as bad as Fugaku," Haku said, "I wouldn't want to be in that clan."

"Shisui nii-san isn't a bad person, he is actually very kind-hearted," Naruto said.

"If you say so Naruto," Haku said. They reached the academy and ran to the classroom before they were late. Everyone was talking about random things, when Sasuke saw Naruto, he got up and walked to him.

"Hey Naruto," Sasuke said.

"Hey Sasuke, how are you, how's your brother and mom?" Naruto asked. Naruto and Sasuke became friends over the break from the academy because their parents kept talking to each other and the families kept having dinners at each other's places.

"They're good, I don't really know how to feel about what has happened. We are all having to be seen by a physiatrist once every two weeks, she's nice, but I really just want to be tried the same way as I have always been," Sasuke said.

"Let me guess they are treating you as if you are as fragile as glass," Naruto said.

"How did you know," Sasuke said as he sat down in the table in front of Naruto's.

"Because it is written all over your face," Naruto laughed out. The bell rang and every one sat down in their seats, they all had become scared of Iruka after he had threaten them on the last day of school that their second year senseis would be as nice, of course he would still teach them taijutsu, shuriken, and kunai throwing. This had cause them to fear a little bit because their former sensei was normally right about most things. Iruka walked in with Tsunade, Jiraiya, and three more people entered.

The first person was Kurenai Yuhi, she would be the teacher for genjutsu. Kurenai is a fair-skinned woman of slender build. She has long black untamed hair reaching her upper back, and very unique eyes that are red in color, with an additional ring in them. She wears make-up consisting of red lipstick and purple eye shadow. Her outfit consists of a red mesh armor blouse with only the right sleeve visible. Overall, this is very broad material which resembles bandages with a pattern on it similar to those of rose thorns. Her hands and upper thighs are also wrapped in bandages and she wears the Konoha forehead protector and regular shinobi sandals.

The second person was Hayate Gekko, he would be the teacher for kenjutsu. Hayate had short brown hair, dark-colored eyes and dark markings under his eyes. Even though he's young man, he has pronounced lines under his eyes as well as unexplained chronic coughing that plagued him. He wears the standard Konoha shinobi outfit complete with a forehead protector that he wears as a bandanna, flak jacket and regular shinobi sandals. He also carries a katana with a rectangular hand guard strapped over his back.

The final person was Sayaka Kitagawa, She was a fair-skinned woman with long, straight blue hair and lavender eyes. She was wearing the standard Konoha jonin outfit, complete with her forehead protector tided on her left arm, flak jacket, but dark purple shinobi sandals, next to her is a lavender fox with the black tipped ears and tail.

"Alright, wow all of you are quiet today, maybe your final grew up, anyways these are your senseis," Iruka said.

"Hi, I'm Kurenai Yuhi, and I'm the sensei for genjutsu," Kurenai said.

"I'm Hayate *cough* Gekko, and I'm *cough* the sensei for *cough* kenjutsu," Hayate says.

"Hi, I'm Jiraiya of the sannin, and I'm the sensei for fuinjutsu," Jiraiya said, he wanted to say more but then felt a little bit of killing intent coming from Tsunade and shut up.

"Hello everyone, I'm Sayaka Kitagawa, and I'm the sensei of the people who joined the animal program," Sayaka said.

"Hi, I'm Senju Tsunade, I'm the sensei for medical ninjutsu," Tsunade said.

"Now, you guy will head today with these senseis to your classroom, but from now on, the first 4 days of the week you will go to the classroom they take you to only, then on the last day you will come here and learn from me," Iruka said. All the kids head with their respective senseis excited for what they can learn.
