Lincoln blinked seven times to make sure he wasn't dreaming
and every time he opened then the baby was still there
suddenly Wes burst in the living room while holding something wrapped in a blanket
"DAD I MESSED UP I MESSED UP I MESSED-" Wes said before noticing the baby "actually on second thought you look a bit busy so I'm just going to-"
Lincoln looked the fully grown mewtwo directly in the eyes and said "what did you do."
"promise not to freak out?" Wes asked
"Wes." Lincoln said
"right." Wes said as he unwrapped the blanket revealing a baby mewtwo with a orange tail and white eyes
"..."
"dad?" Wes asked
"I'm going to kill arceus and have light take his place." Lincoln said
then ash and mallow came from the kitchen with some baby formula which they almost dropped upon seeing the baby mewtwo
"I'm calling Z." Ash said
later
"Z stop laughing." Lincoln said
Z did not stop laughing in fact he laughed even harder
"Wes you were the one to warn us about this how did you not know!?" Z asked in between laughs
"in my defence mewtwo and newtwo didn't tell me what flower it was!" Wes said
"actually where are they?" Ash asked
"as soon as I told them they went to blow up the flower so this wouldn't happen to them." Wes said
"fair enough." Mallow said
"anyway judging by how this looks I'm going to need a DNA sample from you 3 plus the baby." Z said
he got the dna from ash, mallow, Lincoln and the baby and analyzed it before printing a piece of paper from his chest
"hmm yup it all adds up." Z said "all 3 of you are the parents."
"HOW WE DIDN'T EVEN DO ANYTHING!?" Lincoln said
"well luckily for you I have an answer." Z said "Lincoln you still had some deoxys bits in you which normally would have absorbed new dna and added it to you if the being had aura and had you actually like drank their blood or something however she absorbed the bits and the bits took on the genetic traits of someone or someone's in this case of people you were close with."
"i-" Lincoln began before being cut of by Z
"however legendary pokemon dna is normally really hard to put together so it couldn't pull from the kids meaning it had to improvise and considering that you show affection to ash and mallow in the form of hugs and kisses there was tons of human dna to pull from." Z continued
"I-" Lincoln tried again but was cut off by Z again
"and the deoxys bits became extensions of you so even if you weren't hanging out with them all week it would've bide its time and just grabbed what it could from them." Z continued
"..."
"so any baby names?" Z asked
"Z could you come over here so I can put you in a head lock?" Lincoln asked
"and that's my cue to leave." Z said as he ran while getting chased by Lincoln
later
"did you get him?" Ash asked while playing with the baby
"nope apparently he can fly now." Lincoln said bitter that Z got away
then penny Kieran and Wally walked in
"hey guys-" Kieran began before seeing the two babies "what happened here?"
"we messed up." Wes and Lincoln said at the same time
"wait doesn't that mean Lincoln is mentally healthy?" Wally asked
Lincoln began to cry tears of joy at that
penny facepalmed at that
"so any names?" Kieran asked
"actually we haven't gotten that far." Ash said "we were mostly focusing on the how."
"wait you guys are going to raise her?" Penny asked
"of course we are I mean it's technically me ash and Lincoln's daughter." Mallow said
"I still can't believe this." Lincoln said
"Wes how about you?" Kieran asked "you got any names for your kid?"
"thanks for reminding me I'm a grandpa." Lincoln said through his teeth
"as for names I was thinking... detsi." Wes said
"so our grandchild can't believe I'm saying that is named detsi." Mallow said
"yup!" Wes said while holding the giggling baby mewtwo
"well then I guess I'll name this bundle of joy Tera." Lincoln said
"wonderful!" Z said from the doorway
"oh come on!" Lincoln said
"in all seriousness I am happy for you." Z said "in fact I brought you a gift."
Lincoln looked at the gift
"no." Lincoln said
"come on man." Z said
"no." Lincoln said
five minutes later
"I can't believe I'm doing this." Lincoln said while wearing a harness that held Tera
"I can." Z said as he took a picture
"delete that or I delete your life." Lincoln said
"no." Z said
"I think it looks cute." Mallow said
"let me have a try!" Ash said
(god gives his hardest battles to his strongest soldiers except I didn't enlist.) Lincoln thought to himself
the next day
every one was pretty shocked to see the babies
"aw so cute!" Lana said
"I have many questions about this." Sophocles said
"well this is going to change things up quite a bit." Kiawe said
"aww so little!" Lillie said
"though the question is how are we going to explain this to your parents?" Professor kukui asked
"to be honest I don't care what they think." Lincoln said "I'm happy."
"...you're still getting therapy." Mallow said
"drat." Lincoln said
"anyway Lincoln said he smelled the flowers on his way back home so how did you find your flower Wes?" Sophocles asked
"I may have been trying to think of ways to get Lori to apologize when it happened." Wes said
"if hadn't already forgiven her I would have murdered her for almost killing my grandkid." Lincoln said
"as for my question." Professor kukui said "I wasn't talking to you Lincoln I was talking to ash and mallow."
"ah." Ash said
"oh dear." Mallow said
