The next day, after Natsu and Happy have woken up and eaten their breakfast. Natsu writes a letter addressed to the Fairy Tail guild, that he leaves at their house, where he explains that he and Happy have already gone on their training trip, knowing either Mira or Erza will likely come over to their house sometime in the future, most likely today, in order to look for the two of them, once one of them realizes they have not come to the guild.

Natsu and Happy are now making their way towards Magnolia Station.

"Are you sure you wish to take the train, Natsu?" asks Happy, sounding worried, knowing about his previous fear of trains "What about your motion sickness?"

"Nothing to worry about, Happy." replies Natsu, looking rather smug "After being reborn as a devil, and having once again learned how to use fire dragon slayer magic, due to being exposed to Tannin's flames, I no longer retained the senses of a dragon slayer." shocking Happy. "It is probably due to my body now being that of a devil and no longer human." while then remembering something "In that world they often said that humans were beings with the greatest potential, I suppose that also applies for the potential to change, unlike devils who are thought to be the opposite of change." as Happy listens to him talk, Natsu continues his explanation "Don't get me wrong, I still have great senses. But that is due to me being a devil, which is something all devils have. My sense of smell is only slightly greater than that of a human, however my vision is better and my hearing is about the same as before, but only if I truly focus. I am also physically stronger than any human both there or here on Earthland, even compared to when I was a dragon slayer, but I doubt I am as strong as Elfman when he is in one of his strongest full-body takeovers despite how much I have trained."

"Did you learn anything new while being in the other world?" asks Happy, not knowing much about his time there since Natsu did not go into details with them on Tenrou Island, he only explained to them the basics which was being reborn into the Phenex family as a devil, as their fourth and youngest son, while later having a long private talk with Master Makarov and Gildarts on their way back to Magnolia away from all the others, while the others did not try to interrupt or listen in on their talk. He did however promise to all of the guild members to tell them about his new life at a later date as it was according to him 'a very long story'.

"Yes." responds Natsu, while scowling, and explains "I did learn how to be a proper noble.", suddenly remembering all of his horrible childhood memories "Meaning I had to learn things such as math, history, politics, different languages, manners, how to dance, how to play the piano and how to play chess, while either being tutored by my mother, our family maids, or attending school in the Underworld.", while then regaining the smile to his face "However I also did lean different magic, how to create Phoenix Tears, and how to fight from the age of 5 in martial arts such as Boxing and Taekwondo from the very best."

"You can play the piano?!" shouts Happy after Natsu has finished answering his question, having been surprised the most by this fact.

"That's what shocks you?" exclaims Natsu, thinking him knowing math and being a noble being a more shocking fact.

In the other side of Magnolia, Mirajane Strauss is the first to pay a visit to their house, wishing to have a talk with the new Natsu about his life in the Underworld, before he goes off to the guild, knowing that the others wish to also know that, while ignoring the fact Natsu made a promise to tell them about it later, assuming he is still at his house with Happy, not knowing that they both have already left around 40 minutes ago to the Magnolia Station which is quite a far distance away from their house.

After knocking on the door for some time, she then searches for the hidden key to their house as Natsu has revealed to her the location of the key, as she is one of the few people he trusts with this knowledge, other than Erza Scarlet (and possibly the Guild Master), as he has been friends with them for a long time, knowing they will not abuse this privilege.

After finding the key and opening the door, she makes her way to the living room, and finds a letter lying on the table, she then starts reading through the letter. Then she sighs, and starts to make her way towards the guild in order to take it to the guild master so that the master can tell the others that Natsu and Happy have already left the town.

Natsu has currently finished telling Happy about the Phenex family, such as his parents, his siblings, about the Phenex clan special abilities: Hell Fire, Wind control, and Immortality, while also telling them that his family is one of the richest in their world, telling him that their immense wealth comes from selling Phoenix Tears and their successful businesses in both the human world and Underworld, and that their family holds the rank of Marquis which is only due to historical traditions, until they finally notice that they have arrived in front of the train station.

"Wait here." says Natsu "I will go and buy us our tickets.", seeing that there are not that many people currently present at the station, due to it being early in the morning.

"Aye!" salutes Happy.

By the time Mirajane makes it to the guild hall, Natsu and Happy have already boarded the train out of Magnolia and are traveling towards their chosen training destination.

"Master." shouts Mira while rushing inside the guild hall "There is something you need to see."

"What is it child?" asks Makarov, wondering why she is in such a hurry.

"This." replies Mira, showing the guild master the letter that Natsu wrote, which the master then takes from her hands.

Master then starts reading through the letter, which is written in a surprisingly good handwriting:

'To the one reading this letter, who I know is either Mira or Erza. I wish for you to pass on the following message:

My friends at the guild. Me and Happy have already gone off on a training trip for the next three months in order to make the most out of our time, just as master suggested to us yesterday, not only to get stronger for the Grand Magic Games, but also so that I could explain to Happy about my life in the Underworld, as he should be the first to know, as me and him should not have any secrets. I know that you are all interested in hearing about my life in the Phenex family, so I promise you that I will tell you everything you wish to know about that once we both have returned from our training trip.

"Erza will not be happy to hear about this." says Mirajane, getting a nod from Makarov, both feeling sorry for whatever punishment Erza will give to them when they return.

"I should have expected something like this from Natsu." adds Makarov "He has always been a free spirit. Doing whatever he wants without any care in the world."
