DISCLAIMER:

NCIS: Los Angeles and characters do not belong to me.

SUMMARY:

Kensi and Deeks are hanging out like any other Friday night after work.

"Tick tock! Tick tock! Goes Kensalina's biological clock!" Deeks teased with a laugh, from the corner of the couch he was sitting on. "Oh, my God, Deeks...I swear you're the one with a biological running out!" Kensi yelled at him.

Chapter 6: WHEN THE TIME IS RIGHT...

THE LIVING ROOM...

"Marty...wait." Kensi said suddenly, after he had helped her to her feet and took a few steps.

"Is something wrong?" Deeks asked worried. "No, no, nothing is wrong. I just...can we wait and go on a real date before things go any further?" Kensi asked biting her lip and started to gather her clothes.

"Are you serious? As far as we went just now?" Deeks asked and seemed disappointed. "Yes, we have just figure out what we want. I don't want to jump in bed and make a baby...I thought you wanted a real relationship." Kensi reminded him.

"I do want a relationship with you more then anything." Deeks responded. "Then let's not start off like this. Let's at least go on a date first and then when the time is right...we will know, okay?" Kensi asked and Deeks nodded.

"Whenever you're ready, Princess." Marty said giving her a kiss, before reaching down to put his boxers and jeans back on.

Kensi slipped her underwear back on and then grabbed Deeks' shirt before he could. When he looked at her she just smiled.

"Really? You're going to steal my shirt?" Deeks asked an eyebrow raised and Kensi just nodded. "Yup, I'll make it smell like sunshine and gunpowder..." Kensi teased sitting back down on the couch.

"In that case you can wear it, but what am I supposed to wear home when I go take care of Monty?" Deeks asked with a grin sitting down next to her to put on his shoes and socks.

"I don't know. The clothes you have on." Kensi suggested.

"Well as long as you don't steal my socks, shoes and jeans. But I was talking about my shirt." Deeks told her. "Hmmmm, I guess you have a problem there. Don't you, Shaggy? Isn't your go bag in your car?" Kensi asked innocently.

"What? You want me to go outside without a shirt and make your neighbors drool over me, okay." Deeks said and Kensi laughed.

"What makes you think I have any neighbors that would drool over you?" She asked, but watched him walk out the door.

She just sat on the couch smilng, watching the clock and wondering how long it would be before he came back in.

FIVE MINUTES LATER...

Marty walked back in the door, looking a little irritated and did not have his go bag.

"What did you do with my go bag, Kensi?" He asked and she looked at him. "What makes you think I did something with your bag?" Kensi answered.

"Because let's face it. You like to steal my shirts and you're the one who told me to go get my bag." Deeks pointed out. "Why don't you just brorrow on of my shirts? They smell like sunshine and gunpowder." Kensi teased.

"Because your shirts won't fit me, Kens." Deeks answered and Kensi rolled her eyes, before getting up and pulling a go bag from behind a chair by the wall.

"I knew it! It's not enough that you stole one and now two of my shirts, but you had to steal my go bag full of stuff to? When did you hide my go bag?" Deeks asked as Kensi put it on the couch.

"You dropped it by my door when we came in, so the first time you went to the bathroom. I hid it..." Kensi tol him with a shrug. "Oh, just wait, Blye...I will get you back for that." Deeks warned.

"I'd like to see you try." Kensi countered and Marty looked up from his go bag.

They were only inches apart, when he reached over and started to tickle her. Kensi let out a shriek and then started to laugh as she tried to stop him.

"I-if you don't stop ...I'll u-use you for target pra-practice." Kensi warned still laughing.

"You already do, Fern. Always abusing my shoulder or smacking my butt." Marty pointed out and Kensi finally grabbed his hands stopping him.

"I was thinking more of target practice in the shooting range." Kensi informed him.

"Yeah, but if you did that...we wouldn't be able to have kids together in the future." Deeks reminded her.
