CHAPTER 20: DEEKS EMPTY SNACK DRAW AND A TICKED KENSI...

Once they finished breakfast Deeks went to take a quick shower and after grabbing their things they left for work.

THE BULLPEN...

As soon as they walked into the bullpen, Kensi walked overto Deeks desk instead of her own.

"Uh, Princess, that's my desk remember? Are you looking for something?" Deeks asked coming up behind her.

Kensi turned to face him with an empty twinky box and Deeks backed up a few steps, because of the look on Kensi's face.

"No snacks in the snack drawer. There are no twinkies in my snack drawer?" Kensi demanded holding up an empty box.

Sam and Callen watched in amusment, although they tried not to show it.

"Okay,

A. The drawer is in my desk, so it's my snack drawer and

B. You ate the last one before we left work yesterday. I just forgot to stop on the way home last night so I could get some more for work today. Wouldn't you like something more healthy? Like an apple or something?" Deeks asked backing up further.

"There are no twinkies in the snack drawer that you keep for me and I want a damn twinky!" Kensi yelled at him.

"Okay, I'll um...I'll just run out and get a few boxes of twinkies. But how can you be hungry? I mean we just ate breakfast before we left your house a little while ago." Deeks said clearly afraid as she started walking toward him.

It was only after Deeks left that Callen and Sam could not hold back their laughter anymore.

"What exactly is so funny about me being hungry?" Kensi asked turning on Callen and Sam, who immediately stopped laughing.

"We're not laughing at you being hungry, Kensi. We're laughing at how fast Deeks took off." Sam told her. "You said you would find ways to torture him and it looks like you are already doing a very good job." Callen added and Kensi smiled.

"Ms. Blye, a word in my office please. Mr. Callen, please send Mr. Deeks to my office upon his return." Hetty said appearing it seemed out of no where.

Kensi looked at Callen and Sam before following Hetty. Once Kensi was out of sight Callen and Sam looked at each other.

"The dangers of a pregnant, Kensi Marie Blye." Callen said and Sam nodded. "Yeah, and just think she's going to be pregnant for another few months. Maybe I should talk to Michelle tonight." Sam said thoughtfully.

"Are you really going to help Kensi torture Deeks? I mean she's doing a good job of that on her own." Callen said with a smile.

MEANWHILE WITH DEEKS...

Deeks found a grocery store far enough away from the Mission not to give a way the location, but close enough that he could give Kensi her twinkies asap.

He got a cart and went to find the twinkies, putting six boxes in the cart and then grabbing other snacks for the snack drawer.

Making sure at least some of them were healthly, but rather Kensi liked it or not he was going to make sure she had a healthly snack every now and then.

After grabbing some apple juice, because he noticed Kensi had started drinking a lot of it. He would just have to write her name on the bottle for work, so no one else would drink it. He then grabbed some other drinks before heading to the check out.

The cashier gave Deeks the strangest look when he began to unload eveything onto the belt.

"Going on a trip?" The cashier asked. "No, no...my girlfriend is pregnant and I keep a drawer full of snacks for her in my desk while we are at work. Kind of got in trouble this morning when it was empty." Deeks told the cashier.

"Ah, that's a good idea." The cashier told him as she began to ring eveything up.

"Thanks." Deeks said a few minutes later after everything had been rung up and headed for his car.

THE MISSION...
FIFTEEN MINUTES LATER...

Deeks pulled into his parking place, thinking of how it had been good that he had driven them to work that morning. Then pulling the keys from the ignition, he grabbed the stuff for Kensi and headed inside.

THE BULLPEN...

Hetty, you can't do that!" Deeks heard Kensi yell as soon as he walked into the bullpen and saw Kensi sitting at Hetty's desk.

"Oh boy, this is going to be a long day with Kensi in a bad mood." Deeks muttered.
