In the barren wasteland, a silhouette is seen from a distance. As the camera zooms closer, it is revealed that the silhouette was, in fact, a tower. The tower is primarily crimson in color and seemed to be split off into three segments; the biggest at the bottom and the smallest at the top. The entrance to the tower is large and eloquent, making it stand out to the viewer's eyes. Surrounding the tower is a large garden with flowers growing on all sides with garden huts on every patch of land. Water can be seen flowing through its numerous river channels with arc bridges in every interception to give safe passage.

It is truly a sight to behold, a slice of heaven even… too bad that it hides something awful inside.

Well… calling it awful would be too harsh.

The view zooms closer to the highest point of the tower before it switches to show the interior. The room is bizarre, mixing futuristic technology with medieval tradition. The walls seem to be made of obsidian and metal which is draped in red velvet. At the center of the room is a throne made entirely of obsidian with blue accents on the edges that seem to be glowing with energy as it stares directly at a large viewscreen.

Sitting in this throne is a young man seemingly in his mid-teens, his dulled silver eyes analyzing every little detail presented to him. He has ebony black hair that runs past the nape of his neck. In front of him is a book being held up with two floating skeletal hands.

"[Kindness] heals people as well as creates barriers. With [Bravery], you get explosion magic as well as buffs in strength and durability. While [Perseverance] has the same buffs as [Bravery], it takes longer to heal, however, it can pierce through magic far more easily than other traits. And with [Patience], it's possible to even manipulate time. Who knew each trait had such incredible potential?" I turn the page. "[Integrity] is similar to [Aura] as it protects the user from lethal blows while also boosting my base stats. It also allows for basic gravity manipulation like Sans. [Justice] can create projectiles, turn things into projectiles including yourself. Finally, [Determination] has access to a variety of abilities. Create magical constructs, heal wounds, time manipulation, resurrection, and stat buffs."

[And Chromas allow for the manipulation of all seven traits and can be even used all at once. To think it would have such applications, I wonder why Gaster didn't use them]

"He likely wasn't able to because only humans can use those traits to the fullest. But then again, I could be wrong." I close my grimoire and put it away. "What's the status of the Ruby Palace?"

[Construction of the base is 100% complete. Power levels are at 12% and steadily rising. At this rate, we should be up and running in less than a month]

"Hm." I let out a hum. It has been four days since I arrived in Earthland. Four days since I met the last remaining remnants of Tartaros and four days since I started building my base of operations. The process of building took longer than expected. It took a lot of trial and error to get everything correct; down to the last atom.

[I can tell something is bothering you. You should be proud of what you made]

Proud? Of course I am proud. I just don't like all of the sleepless nights I had to go through just to make sure everything was perfect (not that I actually require sleep anyways).

Still, I can't help but wonder if my arrival here had some… unexpected consequences.

… nah.

I open my inventory and select all of my gacha tokens and watch idly as the rewards rain down on me.

You have gained the following from the [Legendary Gacha Token]:

[All-Stat Crystal] - Rank: EX

Significantly increases all stats by 20.

[Phoenix Down]

[Leviathan Axe] - Rank: EX

Kratos' main weapon throughout the Norse Era. Forged by the dwarven blacksmiths Brock and Sindri in order to fight off the power of Mjölnir, the ax was originally wielded by the Jötunn warrior Laufey before passing it onto Kratos before her death.

After completing Mjölnir and seeing the destruction it had created at the hands of its wielder, the Huldra Brothers sought to take responsibility and so fashioned a weapon that matched it in power. Its name, Leviathan, was suggested by Brok after being inspired by the epic size of Jörmungandr (and as a way to mock the Aesir for their failed search of the Giants).

28,751+ WISx4 Physical/Ice Damage

[Fusion Cannon] - Rank: EX

Megatron's iconic weapon. It strikes fear into the sparks of both Autobots and Decepticons alike, for any who challenge such a weapon will surely fail. The cannon is powered by nuclear fission though it can be further augmented by a black hole or dark matter.

39,981 Damage + STRx6 Nuclear/Dark Damage

[Tora-Shina] - Rank: ?

A shinai owned by the infamous Tiger of Fuyuki herself, Taiga Fujimura. It has a tiger strap attached under the guard in what is undeniably its greatest feature, which was considered to be bad manners and not permitted in some official tournaments.

What sets it apart is the unrelenting bloodlust that radiates off the bamboo sword; like a predator stalking its prey before pouncing on them. It is strangely more durable than other Shinai, and a seemingly lethal weapon in the hands of a master swordsman (sort of).

It is a demonic sword that will not rest until it tastes blood, yet it is also the most useless weapon to ever exist.

[I think I should check on the CORE. You know, to see if everything is in working order]

"Good idea." I dismiss the holograms in front of me and push myself off my throne. I was wearing a large black coat with shredded ends on each of the elbow-length sleeves. Under it I'm wearing a black turtleneck that hugged my body, emphasizing my muscular physique, and a pair of black pants and combat boots.

I turn around and walk towards an elevator. Its doors open and I walk inside. I press one of the buttons and the doors promptly close before the whole box rumbles as it begins its quiet descent downwards.

"Note to self: add music for the elevator." I told myself.

*Ding!*

The elevator stops as it reaches its destination and its doors open. The smell of seawater infiltrates my nostrils.

Instead of a normal room, there is a massive ocean as far as the eye can see. The roof simulates a blue sky with artificial light shining down on everything.

I step forward and a stone pillar rises from the bottom of the ocean catching my step with more rising creating a path. I follow this path until I reach the "center" of the room where an island was placed and on it was a small building resembling a Japanese dojo.

No gates, no walls, just a single building on a small empty island.

I make my way towards the dojo and slide the door open, it was unlocked. Why would it be locked? All who wish to test their strength are welcomed here, both physically and mentally.

The interior of the dojo was your traditional Japanese home. I took off my boots and left them on the genkan before moving inside. Since there is only one resident, the building was always empty with the sounds of the ocean waves being the only source of company. Eventually, I arrived at a large training hall and saw Torafuzar kneeling in the middle with his eyes closed.

"I was not expecting a visitor so soon." Torafuzar opens his eyes and looks at me. "So, what do you wish of me, Asmodeus-sama?"

I take a step forward. "I just wanted to make a quick visit. Nothing more."

Torafuzar bows. "I am honored that you would go out of your busy schedule just to see me, Asmodeus-sama."

I hum in conformation. To be perfectly honest, I don't like how subservient these guys are, it's very creepy. I have tried to make them stop but they stubbornly refuse to do so, even when I ordered them to. But after a while, I just let it go and got used to it.

I turn to the open view of the ocean. "Tell me, how are you liking your new room so far?"

"It is marvelous. Despite it being artificial, the view of the ocean is just as breathtaking as the real deal." Torafuzar comments.

"I can respect that." I nod.

Torafuzar smiles at his lord's acceptance.

[You did put your all into making it as real as possible. Can't believe it only took 5 hours]

"Say, Tora, can I ask you something? What is your opinion on humans?" I asked.

The Etherious looks down for a moment before looking up to me. "I believe humans are weak creatures. They are flawed, emotional, and overall unsavory. However, unlike my brethren, I do not take joy in tutoring them." He said. "I respect those who show ingenuity and fighting spirit, the humans who fight not just for themselves but for others as well. My fight with the human wizards showed me the extent of that potential, I only wished to have seen it under better circumstances."

"Is that why you requested your room to be modeled after a dojo? Because you wanted to fight humans on even ground?" I asked.

Torafuzar nods. "There is nothing more honorable than fighting at your strongest. One should have pride in one's power. If they do not even have the dignity to face me then they have no right to carry the symbol of their guild on their person."

'It looks like the rejuvenator worked. He is back in peak form.' I remark as I read his stat sheet.

"Is there anything else you need, my lord?" Torafuzar asked.

I close the screen and shake my head. "No, I think we're done here. I want to head down to [Satan's Soul] and check on Lamy."

"Very well. I will await your next visit." Torafuzar bows as his master walks out of the room.

I leave the dojo and reach the elevator.

[Out of all of the Etherious Zeref created, Torafuzar is the only one that shows restraint. He has a strict code of duty, a very human trait to have. I wonder what Zeref was going through when he wrote his book]

I get on the elevator. "Probably trying to retain whatever humanity he had left, though it's obvious that it didn't pan out as he hoped." I press a button and the elevator makes its descent.

[Do you ever wonder what they would have done if we hadn't shown up?]

"They would probably try to pick a fight with Fairy Tail again, but we both know how that song and dance goes." I remarked.

[You don't think they'd win?]

"If there's one thing that's clear about Fairy Tail is that they are a tenacious and destructive bunch. No matter how many times you beat them down or how many times the odds are against them, they will always, ALWAYS, come back until they're enemies are beaten." I smile. "It's one of the few things I like about Fairy Tail."

[That and the beautiful women]

"You got that right." I let out a perverse chuckle.

*DING*

The elevator's doors open revealing a dimly lit room with large tanks in rows, with cables and organic material connected to the top of the tank. The area itself gives off a cold and creepy atmosphere similar to a mausoleum.

My head turns left and right. "Now, where are you?"

"Fafafafa~ I can't believe you've come to visit me~"

I turn to the voice and see Lamy sliding towards me. "Hello, master! How can I be of service today? Fafafafafa~"

"I'm just here to check the performance of [Satan's Soul]." I told her.

The rabbit Etherious' face twitches at the mention of that name. "Of course! Right this way!" She proceeds to happily guide her master through the laboratory, passing through the various tanks occupied with the bodies of demons. "As you can see, we are running at optimum capacity! I've even collected all of my guildmate's remains and placed them in the tanks to preserve them."

I stare at one of the tanks with the corpse. "If you don't mind me asking, what do you plan to do with them?"

"Oh, that's easy! I plan to use them for their cells in case we need to convert humans into demons or to heal us!" Lamy exclaims. "Since the lab was destroyed, I lost a lot of resources. So I'm using these corpses to make up for the loss."

I arch an eyebrow. "So, you're not going to revive your own race?"

Lamy just laughs at my question. "Revive? You must be joking, sir!" Her expression then morphs into one of wickedness, "weaklings like them don't deserve such courtesy. Failure was not tolerated in Tartaros. They should be happy to be of some use in my experiments." She breaks into a fit of mad giggling.

'Well, at least she's passionate…' I thought. "Say, is it possible to revive one of the [Nine Demon Gates] using these corpses?"

"Hm, I'm not sure." Lamy ponders at the idea. "Whenever an Etherious dies, their souls would return to [Hell's Core] where they are eventually reborn in new bodies thanks to their contracts with Master Geer. However, with the exception of Lord Torafuzar and Jackal, none of the other [Nine Demon Gates] returned to the core which means that their souls were destroyed along with their bodies."

[Most of the Nine Demon Gates were killed by Fairy Tail. Somehow, those wizards managed to destroy their souls along with their bodies]

'But what about when they came back during the final arc?'

[Those were merely life facsimiles of the Etherious. Thought projections given life using memories from the victim, indistinguishable from the real thing]

'Man, Fairy Tail magic is no joke. It just gets more OP with every arc.' I sweat dropped. "Well, that's good to know. Anyways, I'll leave [Satan's Soul] in your capable hands."

Lamy's face twitches again. "I wish you wouldn't call it that, my lord." She grunts in annoyance. "I don't want to be reminded of that Take Over mage."

"It just makes sense to me. [Satan's Soul] is an upgrade to [Hell's Core] since it can do more than just conversion and rebirth." I state.

"You mean you won't reconsider it?" She jolts at the blank stare. "Okay. I'll try to get used to it."

"That's all I ask. I'll see you later." I turn around and make my way towards the elevator.

Lamy watches her master get on the elevator and hears it descending. "My lord is such a dummy." She then holds her hands together as pink hearts surround her. "But he is so handsome so it's all forgiven! Fafafafa~"

The elevator slows down as it reaches its destination and opens its doors, revealing a large mechanical room which houses a massive stone structure surrounded by seven stone obelisks. At the center of the room is a long staircase and on top is a stone shrine. The walls of the room have a grid-like pattern that pulsates with power as it goes upwards to the ceiling.

As I walk on the stone path, the camera changes to a top view, revealing that part of the path are large wires connecting from the altar to the rest of the room.

I walk up the steps and enter the shrine and rest inside is the [Master Emerald] itself before my attention turns to the stone obelisks, showing the blue and red [Chaos Emeralds] enshrined on them.

The humming of the machinery is heard in the background. "It looks like everything's working correctly."

[Who knew using an ancient shrine as the main power circuit for the base would be so effective?]

"If you want to thank someone, thank Sega for the idea." I open a window and begin typing. "Still, if we want to get anywhere, we'll need to find more [Chaos Emeralds]; two is just simply not enough."

[Then we'll need to go through more dungeons. You already know this]

"You got that right." I close the window in front of me.

[What did you just do?]

"I had all external energy routed to the defense shields." I replied.

[Isn't that a bit overboard?]

"Normally, yes, but I've been having this weird feeling that's been keeping me on edge all day. Like… something big is coming." I open my menu.

"Too easy." I remark and make my way forward.

As I walk through the path, I pass by several rooms with machinery of all kinds placed there. They didn't seem to be active and didn't react to my presence as I arrived at the elevator.

"You think this 'powersource' is a [Chaos Emerald]?"

[Absolutely. I can't think of anything that can power such a massive facility]

I look up at the ceiling. "Say… I've been meaning to ask you something. Where exactly do these dungeons come from?"

[Well-]

*Boom!*

My body jolts and takes a boxing stance. "Hold up. What was that?"

*Creak~*

"!" A jet-black claw bursts from the doors and grabs me! It pulls me out of the elevator and throws me to the floor.

"Oof!" I look up to see a large black bipedal robot with a single glowing red optic. Its right arm is mounted with a massive gun as its left arm transforms into another weapon.

'Just what is this thing made of!?' I internally exclaim.

The robot's arms glow with energy before firing a charged shot at me. I activate [Nemesis] and surround myself in a black cocoon, shielding me from the attack. This doesn't deter the guard robot as it continues its onslaught, but its plasma rounds can't pierce through the cocoon.

"[Super Shotgun] isn't going to cut it. That thing has a surprisingly tough chassis." I open my menu and look through my [Inventory], "time to give this a try."

The robot continues its attack, surrounding the cocoon in smoke. It stops its attack and walks forwards to check the intruder's demise. Suddenly, a purple stream of energy bursts from the smokescreen and in an instant, the Wachroboter is vaporized!

I raise my arm as I look at my new weapon in jubilation and excitement before a familiar force forces me to reign it in. "I guess it's safe to say that this test was a resounding success."

[Success is a bit of an understatement]

[Then we'll simply remain cautious. You should keep the Fusion Cannon equipped in case you run into them]

"Um-hmm." I began to explore this new area, eventually reaching what looks to be a command deck as I got a good look at the place.

The area is indeed a hangar as I already speculated… and it is massive! The room stretches out as far as the eye can see. There are ships docked everywhere, ready and waiting to be launched to the outside world. Which brings me to my question…

Where is everybody?

Usually, there would be people either working on the ships, moving supplies, and getting ready to launch. Yet there is no one here, just machines.

This dungeon really lives up to its name.

However, my thoughts are cut short as a noise gets louder before red light overwhelms my vision as I dodge the laser beam before getting blown back by the resulting explosion.

"Damn…!" I grab the rail and push myself up, before turning to the direction of where the blast came from only for my eyes to widen slightly.

Down below are dozens of [Wachroboters] staring up at me, their red optics glowing menacingly at me.

"Oh dear…" I mutter to myself. One of those robots was bad enough, but this!? Where did they even come from!? Where were they all this time!?

[You might want to get moving]

The robots all begin to charge their main weapons.

"Oh shit!"

[Move bitch! Get to the door!]

I activate [Sonido] and make a run for the door as the entire wall is turned into a melted mush.

I look at the door and immediately press a button. The doors quickly close just as the coming explosion engulfs it all.

[That was too close for comfort. Another second and we would have been caught in the blast]

"Yes…" I muttered.

*BANG~BANG~BANG~*

Loud metallic footsteps catch my attention as it comes closer, and what I saw completely blew my mind.

Standing before me are robotic creatures with bodies encased in sleek silver armor. Its chest plates feature a circular opening which glows blue. However, what was most drawing were their helmets; a pair of side handles on the left and right-hand sides of the helmet, which connected together at the base of the head. Their faceplates sported "tear drop" eye-pods and mouth slits.

"I know what you are." I straighten myself to give the creatures a hard glare. "You're [Cybermen]."

"SO YOU HAVE COME." The Cyberman says and turns around. This Cyberman is completely different from the other Cybermen I've defeated. Its brain was visible through a glass covering on its helmet. It lacked side handles on its helmet, instead possessing a pair of large blank, metal panels where a human's ears would normally be. Additionally, it lacks a chest unit or any other kind of external bodily components or mechanisms, aside from a thin, vertical oval-shaped light on its chest that varies between being blue and white in color. Its body was also significantly more muscular than most Cybermen. The Cyber-Controller stands in place. "... LOST."

"Huh?"

"WE WERE LOST. EJECTED FROM THE VORTEX. OUR FLEET WANDERED THROUGH THE VEIL BETWEEN UNIVERSES. WE WERE DAMAGED, OUR RESOURCES DWINDLED TO DANGEROUS LEVELS." The Cyber-Controller states.

"You were spat out of the [Time Vortex] and ended up in another universe." I surmised.

"THEIR TECHNOLOGY WAS OUTDATED BUT SUFFICIENT. THEY HUMANS ASSISTED US AND IN EXCHANGE WE GAVE THEM SALVATION." The Cyber-Controller reveals.

My brows furrowed. "You converted them into Cybermen."

"YES, HOWEVER, WE WERE UNABLE TO RESTORE CONNECTION TO THE REST OF CYBER FLEET. IT WAS NOT LONG UNTIL I REALIZED WHAT HAD HAPPENED TO US."

"So," I raise my hand "just to make sure I got it right. Your fleet was hurled out of the vortex and ended up in the void. Your ship was the only one out of likely hundreds to make it here but damaged. The humans of this universe helped you and as thanks you 'upgraded' them. I raise my cannon at the leader. "That's not going to happen."

"I KNEW YOU WOULD SAY THAT." The Cyber-Controller raises its arm and opens a holographic window. "IF YOU WILL NOT JOIN US, THEN YOU WILL PERISH UNDER MAXIMUM DELETION!" It types something on the screen.

Suddenly an arm bursts out and grabs me before pulling downwards. I try to pry myself loose but this thing's grip is too strong!

Eventually the arm stops at what appears to be an engine room before looking up at the arm's owner.

It's a massive Cyberman!

Its head and torso are almost identical to the Weapons-Grade Cybermen, however, its eyes glowed blue with cables coming out of its mouth piece, giving the appearance that it was hurling. "THIS CYBERKING UNIT WAS DESIGNED TO BE THE MOST POWERFUL EVER BUILT! YOU WILL NEVER WIN!" The Cyber-Controller declares. "OFFER YOURSELF TO ME NOW AND THERE WILL BE NO PAIN."

"Not yet!" I summon my [Leviathan Axe] and fire another round at it, before throwing it.

"USELESS." The CyberKing deflects my ax and fires a missile at me. "A MEANINGLESS EFFORT. YOU SHOULD KNOW WHEN TO GIVE UP."

The dust settles showing that I was okay, "and you should learn to keep your mouth shut."

*CRASH!*

The CyberKing looks down and sees its right arm falling out of its socket. What was more shocking though, is that the limb is breaking down; the metal decaying.

"ALERT. ALERT! STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY COMPROMISED! SYSTEM FAILURE IMMINENT!" The CyberKing yells as the decay continues to spread all over its body. "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!?"

Flashback

"You should have been paying more attention. My skill set isn't limited to my weaponry."

As I throw my [Leviathan Axe], a dark stream of light is seen coming from my fingers as it travels towards the CyberKing's left arm, leaving a dark mark that spreads at an accelerated rate.

Flashback end

I summon the [Leviathan Axe] back into my hand. "You were never a threat, you were just another guinea pig to test my power. And I can say that this test was a success."

"ERROR! ERROR! ERRO-" The CyberKing's body breaks apart and falls to pieces on the floor.

You have defeated the CyberKing! You have gained 51,445 EXP! You have earned 43,771 Credits!

Level Up(x4)!

I jump down to the decaying wreckage and look around.

[The metal is quickly breaking and turning into dark matter. It won't be long before its ready to be absorbed]

Suddenly, a metallic noise invades my ears and when I turn to look I see the Cyber-Controller trapped in decaying debris and tangled wires.

"THIS CANNOT BE POSSIBLE. MY CALCULATIONS WERE PERFECT." The Cyber-Controller looks up at its approaching foe. "NO HUMAN SHOULD HAVE THIS POWER. IT IS SIMPLY NOT POSSIBLE."

"Yeah, well, get used to disappointment." I told him.

The dark matter decay begins to consume him. "WHAT… ARE… YOU…"

I give the unfeeling cyborg a smirk as my eyes ominously glow silver. "I'm the Devil."

The Cyber-Controller breaks down into nothing.

You have defeated the Cyber-Controller! You have gained 49,245 EXP! You have earned 33,771 Credits!

Level Up(x4)!

My body absorbs [Dark Matter] in the same manner as Kuroyuki. However, it leaves something behind.

[Observe LVL. 34/100]

I pick up the green gem and throw it into my [Inventory]. "And with this, that makes three." Suddenly, alarms begin to sound off.

"ALERT! ALERT! SELF DESTRUCTION SEQUENCE HAS BEEN ACTIVATED! 30 SECONDS TILL DETONATION."

"That damn Cyberman just had to have the last damn laugh, didn't it!?" I yelled. "I still have to find that power source."

[Since we're in the engine room, it's likely to be here somewhere]

I begin to look around frantically as the roof begins to come down on me.

"SELF DESTRUCTION IN 20 SECONDS."

"Where the hell is it?" I said as I moved the debris.

[Hurry up!]

I notice a sealed chamber and blast it open. I walk inside and find a familiar object strapped to machinery.

[Yellow Chaos Emerald] - Rank: EX

"Another [Chaos Emerald]? The Cybermen had two [Chaos Emeralds]!?" I exclaimed.

"SELF DESTRUCTION IN 10 SECONDS."

[Grab it now!]

I rush forward and grab the emerald before I am teleported out.

"5… 4…. 3… 2… 1…!"

The Cyber Carrier explodes and sinks into the bottom of the ocean.

I appear back at the Emerald Altar.

Allow the user to create clones of themselves. The clones will be physically real, possessing the same clothing, abilities, weapons, and memories and because of that, they cannot be distinguished from the original.

The user can create as many clones as they desire. If the clone is defeated or is recalled, their memories and experience is transferred back to the original making them very useful for intelligence gathering.

[Sonic Screwdriver (12th Edition)] - Rank: B

The Doctor's signature tool; never leave home without one. It is used as a sophisticated scanning device, with medical applications as well as pick locks and projecting sound so as to, for example, detonate objects and fry circuitry. It can hack into computers, provide geolocation, and actively defend against some types of assault weapons by frying their internal mechanics and causing the weapons to burst into flames and spark from the inside. The tool could create powerful frequencies and signals as well as shoot green sonic energy waves to briefly incapacitate or stun a target.

Sonic screwdrivers and similar technology could not unlock a deadlock seal and is ineffective against wood.

[Handles] - Rank: C

The head of Cyberman that has been stripped of all organic components and its original protocols, now runs on a rudimentary AI. Handles still carried a full set of data banks from his time as part of a Cyberman. You can use it to interface with your ship, essentially making a co-pilot of sorts.

I took out the [Sonic Screwdriver], looking exactly like the one the 12th Doctor used, and juggle it up like he did. I push a button and it lights up, producing that familiar sound that is common with all versions.

"Nice." I smile before the entire place shakes. "What the?"

Suddenly, the alarms go off and an image of Lamy pops in front of me.

"We have a problem, sir! We're under attack!" Lamy exclaims.

"I'm on my way!" I rush to the elevator and it quickly rises upwards. After a minute, I arrive at the command deck and take a seat on my throne. "Main screen on."

On screen all that's visible is a constant stream of flames that the barrier is deflecting. High above the palace is a massive dragon with dark-red scales, beige underside, and horn-tipped nose. It bears several caudal spines around his face, with a large crystal-like horn protruding from the top of his head. Two fire-like tattoos can be seen on its chest, and flames radiate off various parts of its body.

"A dragon? But the dragons are supposed to be gone." I look at a graph showing the barrier's power levels. "At this rate, it'll penetrate the shields in a matter of minutes. And with the defense system still offline, we're just sitting ducks."

Suddenly, the attack stops much to my surprise. "What the hell?" I zoomed in on the image and what I heard shocked me to my core.

"Fire Dragon God's Roar!" The dragon unleashes a fireball the size of the sun right at me.

The moment it collides with the barrier it creates a massive explosion, so large that it engulfs the entire area.

When the dust settles, the gardens and the Ruby Palace have been mostly destroyed, leaving only the bottom section mostly intact.

I dig myself from the rubble only to see the dragon descending from above, its flapping wings driving the dust and smoke apart as it lands right in front of me.

The Dragon God gives me a toothy grin. "So, you're the one, huh? I hope you make this fight interesting."

"Oh fuck…" I mutter under my breath.

Author Notes

Kept you waiting huh?

That's right, I'm back with a new chapter after almost two months since the last one.

As always, leave a comment. I would usually have more to say but it's late here and I need some sleep.
