I stare at Ignia with bated breath as the giant dragon looks down at me with an analytical eye, the kind you would use when sizing up your opponents.

"Look at you, so small and pathetic, no one would think you're the source of that power." Ignia mocked with a toothy smile.

Is he trying to make me angry? "You destroyed my castle."

"Ho? That was yours? You must not have any taste if THAT was your castle." Ignia remarks.

Oh, you mother-

"Master!"

I turn to look and see Torafuzar and Lamy running towards me.

Lamy suddenly stops and slips, causing her to tumble and fall directly in front of me. "D-D-DRAGON!?"

Ignia lowers his head, his eyes are as large as a human adult. "I recognize that stench anywhere. To think there were still remnants of that human wizard running around."

"You knew Zeref?" Torafuzar asked.

"Know him? I despise him!" Ignia lets out a mighty laugh, its cacophonous noise shakes the entire earth. "Him and Acnologia were at the top of my list! But then they got themselves killed before I could get a chance, and by a HUMAN no less!"

"... who are you?" Torafuzar finally asked.

Ignia's smile grows wider; that's a lot of teeth. "I am the master of the primordial flames, the red sky, embodiment of the sun and the Supreme Being of the World." The dragon unfolds his wings, showing off their majesty. "I am Ignia, the Dragon God of Flames! Burn my name into your brains because soon that will be all you will ever know!"

"A d-dragon god!? Those are real!?" Lamy exclaims.

I clench my fists tightly. This is too soon. The [Five Dragon Gods] are as the title says: five dragons with powers equal to that of a god. Granted, it wasn't something they came up with themselves but by the humans who survived their rampages and have since been cemented as primordial forces of nature. According to the manga, they are the survivors of the [Dragon King Festival] who in order to evade Acnologia's rampage, escaped to the continent of Guiltina where they amassed power becoming what they are today.

And in front of me is most likely the strongest of the five. Ignia. The Fire Dragon God. Igneel's son and Natsu Dragneel's foster brother. Out of all of the dragon gods, he rivals Acnologia in sheer magical power.

'How the hell did he find me!?' I thought with evident exasperation. I haven't done anything grandstanding to get the attention of a dragon god. Hell, I haven't stepped out of the palace since I got here!

[It might be due to the nature of this universe]

'Explain.'

[In this world exists a type of particle called Ethernano. These particles exist in all living things and in the atmosphere, and it's what gives all mages their magical power. My theory is that when we first arrived here, we unknowingly saturated the atmosphere with our unique magic particles, causing them to spread out across the planet]

'Wait, so EVERYONE knows I'm here!?'

[Only high-level mages and a couple of powerful entities, such as dragons, can sense you. So much for being hidden, huh?]

'Fuck!' I stare at the massive dragon. 'So, what do I do now?'

[You'll have to fight him. If we take Natsu as reference, Ignia will force you to fight him since fire dragons are always looking for strong opponents to fight]

'Shit...' I turn to the two demons. "You two need to leave."

This shocks the two. "W-Why!? Are you saying we're too weak to fight with you!?"

"That's exactly what I'm saying Lamy. You two aren't strong enough to fight a dragon." I bluntly replied. "In the end, you're just deadweight."

"He's right. You will only slow him down." Ignia adds.

Lamy looks like she is on the verge of tears.

Torafuzar, who seems to understand my motives, gently pats her shoulder. "Let's go, Lamy." He then looked at me. "Win this."

I silently nod as the two quickly run off.

The dragon god huffs. "I do not understand why you would go this far for these insects. They are beneath you."

I stare at him. "You don't know anything."

Ignia clicks his tongue. "It disgusts me just how human you are." He then gets an idea. "Maybe if I just kill them-" He doesn't finish as his head is blown back by a punch to the face.

My knuckles are red from hitting his scales. "Don't you dare, you red fuck."

Ignia brings his head back, an unfamiliar sensation rises from where he was hit. "Y-You hurt me… you actually hurt me." He brings his claw up to his mouth and sees blood. HIS blood. "Hehehehe… hehehehehe….!" He then breaks down into a fit of laughter. "HAHAHAHAHAHA! SO, THIS IS PAIN! I'VE COMPLETELY FORGOTTEN WHAT IT FEELS LIKE! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

[I think you might have flipped his switch]

"Now I'm DEFINITELY not holding back! We're gonna have so much FUN!" Ignia declares and makes his move.

"!" Thinking quickly, I raise a barrier to block the attack, but not only does he break through it easily but he sends me flying out of the area at high speeds before crashing into a mountain.

Quest: A Dragon's Challenge

The Fire Dragon God of Guiltina wants to fight you. He destroyed your house so make him pay.

Objective: Fight Ignia until he leaves

Rewards: 79,994 EXP, 60,100 Credits, Legendary Gacha Token

Ignia is looking down from above. "Come on! Don't tell me you're already dead from that little love tap!"

"That… was a love tap to him?" I said as I fell to the ground.

[It would be a good idea to use your devil form or else you may not survive]

I stand up. "Yeah." I cross my arms together as dark power surges out of my body before exploding, unleashing an energy wave that washes over the land.

Ignia smiles as he sees my devil form. "There it is. Now, we can finally get started."

I look up at the dragon god. "I'm going to enjoy wiping that smile off your face." I unfold my wings and fly upwards at incredible speeds.

Ignia blinks. One moment, he was staring down at the mystery wizard; the next, he was spinning out of control from the haymaker that the bastard gave him.

After regaining control, Ignia stares at the devil man. "Nice hook. But it's gonna take a lot more than physical strength to keep me grounded!"

I raise my hands and unleash two torrents of flames aimed at him.

Ignia gives me a deadpanned look. "Are you seriously attacking me with fire? I am the Fire Dragon God; I AM FIRE! The moment it gets close, my body will absorb it in an instant. YOU ARE MERELY MAKING ME STRONGER!"

As the fires got closer, Ignia made no effort to move. Why would he? He eats fire, thrives in it. He may have hit the boy a little too hard if he is resorting to-why is everything cold all of a sudden?

Ignia looks down and to his shock and bewilderment, he sees half of his body encased in ice! "W-W-What!?"

Skill Level Up!

[Elemental Manipulation LVL. 2/10]

"As a certain hero once said 'fire so cold it burns'." I said. '[Element Manipulation] isn't limited to just the four basic elements. I found that I can control [Plasma] to a certain degree and, with the help of the grimoire, I was able to figure out how to use the [Plasma] to absorb the heat of whatever it comes into contact with.' I stare as Ignia ferociously tries to break out of the ice. 'Ignia's body temperature alone can melt everything around him in seconds, if I can lower his internal temperature I might have a better chance to win.'

I fire another blast of plasma but this time Ignia retaliates with his dragon fire, causing the two attacks to cancel each other out.

Ignia raises his body temperature causing the ice to melt in seconds. "Neat trick, but it won't save you." His fist ignites as he rushes me at inhuman speeds. "Fire Dragon God's Iron Fist!"

"Oh no, you don't!" I rush forward, my forearm engulfed in dark matter before it enlarges transforming into a large arm seemingly made of black iron.

The two fists collide, resulting in a massive shockwave that changes the very landscape around them. The surrounding mountains are blown away, the winds turn sharp and violent, and the clouds simply cease to exist.

"No one has ever stopped my iron fist before. I'm impressed." Ignia remarks.

I scoff. "You call this an iron first? You must be joking." I grab the upper part of my arm. "Let me show you a REAL Iron Fist!" The black forearm launches itself off my arm pushing a shocked Ignia at high speeds.

"Argh!" Ignia growls as he tries to break away but can't due to the velocity. "!" He looks up and sees two dragon skulls rushing towards him before opening their jaws, releasing two red beams of energy.

*BOOM!*

I look on as a large cloud of dust rises from the distance.

[How long do you think he'll take?]

"A minute or so. I doubt he was hurt that badly." I stretch my hand out. "Still, I never thought about using [Nemesis] that way until now."

[Imagination can be a key asset in any battle, especially for a person who uses imagination as his primary weapon]

I smile as Ignia flies in with burning anger in his eyes. "This is getting me excited."

[Are you turning into a battle junkie?]

I shrug. "Probably." Ignia stops right in front of me. "Hey there, big guy. How was the fall?"

Ignia glares at me. "You bastard. This is the last time you're going to get the jump on me."

"I doubt it, but hey, you're welcome to try." I shrug.

Ignia begins to release ridiculous amounts of magical energy into the atmosphere, causing the very sky to turn a bright orange.

"Oh shit." I mumble as I stare at the sky.

"Witness the power of a GOD!" Ignia declares as fire pillars fall down from the sky.

"Ah!" I dodge the pillars as fast as I can, but the more I dodge the more they appear and the closer they get to me!

[Look out!]

"!" Before I know it, I am engulfed in a massive pillar of flames.

Ignia looks on at the geological disaster he's made and can't help but be… disappointed.

"In the end, no one can match against the power of a true god." Ignia sighs. "At least he served as a good appetizer." However, he quickly tenses as he senses something off. "?"

The fires in the maelstrom begin to turn purple before the pillar encroaches and implodes, reducing it into nothing but purple embers.

The boy is revealed to be alive and well, his raven-black wings showing off their black majesty. His coat, however, has been burned completely, only leaving his turtleneck and the burns on his arms.

The only thing that stands out now is the black ribcage-like construct surrounding him. Out of nowhere, six large skeletal hands appear behind him before black constructs slowly manifest and rise towards the hands, attaching themselves to the bottom ends of the structures to complete the arms.

"You know, I think I'm starting to like you Ignia. You are the first person to ever push me this much. I've never even thought about fusing my Semblance with my magic until today." I said, a smidge of excitement lazed in my voice.

The holes of each hand begin to glow an ominous purple as they aim directly at the dragon god.

"You might wanna dodge, Ignia, because I don't know what'll happen when I fire them all at once." I told him.

And Ignia did dodge. He dodged quickly.

The massive purple beams destroy everything they touch. The landscape was eviscerated in seconds, changing everything in an instant!

Now, in the place of a desert is nothing but a blackened crater.

And yet somehow, Ignia is still alive.

Thoughts about you: Frustrated/Impressed

[Amazing. He managed to dodge six powerful attacks that were going as fast as the speed of light. He may not be a true god, but his power isn't something to be scoff at]

'He also hasn't taken that much damage either and he still has a significant amount of MP. It's clear that killing him will be a daunting task.' I thought.

"Heh." A sound escapes Ignia's mouth before evolving into full blown laughter. "I knew you were interesting! I've never had this much fun in ages!" With an audible pop, his shoulder is put back in place. "What did you say your name was…?"

Right, I never introduced myself. "My name is Asmodeus. Future Demon Lord."

"Asmodeus… it's clear that your magic exceeds that of the many mages I've encountered in the centuries." Ignia states.

+54 Reputation with Ignia (54/100)

I give him a small bow. "Thank you. I'm happy that a complete novice like me can impress someone like you."

The dragon god looks confused. "What are you talking about?"

Now it's my turn to look perplexed. "You mean you haven't noticed? My power isn't exactly normal, it didn't come naturally to me like everyone in this world. Hell, I'm still trying to make sense of it." I revealed. "Also, I don't really know how to fight hand-to-hand. Why do you think I've been keeping my distance from you?"

Ignia was completely dumbstruck by this revelation. He was going toe-to-toe against a novice mage? To say that he was insulted was an understatement. No, he was FURIOUS! How dare this weakling underestimate him! He will incinerate this brat to the point even his very SOUL burns!

… or at least, that's what he would normally do.

Instead, the dragon god found himself intrigued by this. When he first sensed that dark power, he couldn't make heads or tails of it. He first thought that a powerful god had descended from the heavens and into their world, or maybe it was his supposed "brother" who defeated Acnologia. But a hatchling mage? The very thought never crossed his mind. Though, if this is his current power… what sort of creature will he become once he masters it?

"... You really are an enigma. Tell you what? I'll let you go but only if you can survive one of my ultimate spells." Ignia told me.

I feel a lump forming in my throat as I swallow it. "Can't you just let me go instead…?"

"Nope!" Ignia's body ignites, forming into an orb of reddish flames that are so hot that everything is melting.

It's like I'm staring right at the sun.

[Looks he's giving everything he has]

The constructs break and disappear. "I got nothing to top that…"

[We will surely die if we take it head on]

"Yeah. Ready partner?" I asked.

[Always]

"Take this! Crimson Lotus: Red Nova!" The red orb expands, evaporating everything around it.

The orb becomes so large, it can be seen from space.

"HAAAAAAA!" I fly into the expanding red giant and grab it with my BARE HANDS.

"What!?" Ignia yells in clear shock.

"GAAAAAAARRRGH! THIS FUCKING HURTS!" I scream out, [Gamer's Body] and [Gamer's Mind] overwhelmed by the sheer agony as my body burns to nothing. "TOBI!"

[Activating Nemesis]

Dark energy begins to surround me and the red giant. Ignia suddenly feels his magic being drained as the red giant slowly shrinks while his darkness grows.

Ignia flies out of the sphere. 'He is… absorbing my flames!? No, he's transmuting them, making them his own!'

[The Nemesis is overloading! We must restart the system!]

"Not… yet…!" I said.

[You're tearing yourself apart! You'll die if you keep this up!]

I suddenly felt my [Aura] rupturing, causing incredible pain. "AAAAAAHHHHH!"

*BOOM!*

Ignia is blown back by the sudden explosion as it completely eviscerates everything within a 60-mile radius.

However, the energy is suddenly redirected upwards into space where it harmlessly dissipates.

As Ignia gets his bearings, he flies down to the center of the explosion and can't help but be shocked by what he sees. Right in the middle is Asmodeus with half of his right torso gone, destroyed from the explosion. Yet what astounds him the most is the fact he can still sense life brimming within that broken shell and even more surprising is that dark energy is already healing him.

'You just keep on giving, don't you?' The dragon god thought. "Looks like it's your win, kid."

Silver eyes stare at golden ones. "I… guess… so…"

Ignia stares at the boy. "Tell me, what prompted you to try and take my attack head on? You would have surely died."

My arm begins to regrow. "I don't… know… but… it's not like… I… had… a lot of… options…"

Ignia gives me a look. "You're an idiot, you know that?"

"Heh…" I struggle to smile, the pain is overwhelming.

Ignia's body is suddenly covered in flames as his silhouette begins to shrink to the size of a human. When the flames fade, in the dragon's place is a toned, muscular man. His dark orange hair is styled upwards, with the tips somewhat tinged and two strands framing the sides of his head. He has several red tattoos on his upper body, including flame-like ones on his face, a red sun that covers much of his left pectoral, and a tribal design that runs down his left arm. His attire consists of loose pants with a fur lining in the middle: the top is dark-colored while the bottom is light. He wears a wrap around his waist, with an apron-like cloth over his pants, bearing diamond shapes and an X-design. Bandages cover his right forearm, and his accessories include three triangular dangling earrings on each ear, and a large gold chain with a cross-shaped pendant around his neck.

"What? Were you expecting someone else?" Ignia asks.

"I was…. expecting a hot chick with big tits." I admit.

"You're lucky you're interesting, otherwise you would be dead where you stand." Ignia growls as he walks towards me.

"What are… you…?" I try to ask as Ignia does something unexpected and lifts me up.

"You can't move right now. I'll take you back home." He then aims his Killer Intent at me. "If you ever tell anyone about this, I will kill you. Understand?"

Agreeing, Ignia walks into the sunset.

Later, in the evening

We see Torafuzar and Lamy moving some of the rubble away after the dragon god's initial invasion. The rabbit Etherious was still affected by her master's words, despite Torafuzar explaining that the reason he said that was to protect them, but didn't care. She was still a proud demon from the book of Zeref and while Torafuzar didn't care, she HATED being called weak.

Honestly, she hated most of the other Etherious in the guild. Every single one of them didn't take her seriously or just simply killed her because she was weak. If it wasn't for the fact she was in charge of Hell's Core and their resurrection she would have died ages ago.

"!" The two stop as they sense the familiar magical energy in the air before noticing something on the horizon.

"He's here…!" Torafuzar said.

Lamy slips behind him. "What do we do!?"

"..." Torafuzar said nothing.

As the silhouette gets closer, their appearance becomes clearer. The two Etherious were surprised by the appearance of a human instead of a massive dragon with their master carrying him by his shoulders.

Ignia walks up to the two, his expression completely unreadable compared to his dragon form.

"Here. He's your problem now." Ignia dumps Asmodeus' body right in front of them.

"Ow…" I said.

Torafuzar looks at his master before turning his attention to the man. "... you are that dragon."

"Yes I am. Are you angry at what I did to your master? Do you think you have a better chance at beating me than him?" Ignia taunts.

Torafuzar doesn't respond to his probation. Instead, he kneels down and picks up his master.

Ignia scoffs. "Whatever. Besides I would rather fight him again rather than you weaklings. At least he was interesting." Scales begin to appear as dragon wings sprout from his back. "Tell him to get stronger. Stronger than he can possibly imagine. Only then we will settle the matter." He then ascends and turns into his dragon form before opening a flaming vortex in the sky and flies into it.

Legendary Gacha Token(x2)!

"Yay, he left…" I mumble before slipping back into unconsciousness.

"...let's go. We must get him back inside." Torafuzar turns around and walks back to the ruins with Lamy soon in tow.

Unbeknownst to either of them, someone was watching them far above the clouds and standing in front of the moon. She has the appearance of a buxom and a curvaceous woman with her long blonde hair extending to her hips. For attire, Selene dons a loose kimono with fur lining on the top while also having flower designs all over it as well as zigzag lines on its edges. The back of her kimono has another layer of cloth with no intricate designs. Her head is covered by a hood adorned with an upward crescent moon with a gem on top as well as a pair of wings on each side. She also has a pair of socks while wearing wooden sandals. Breast size: G-cup.

"To think there was someone who can actually push back Ignia. I must say, I am impressed." The woman of the moon smiles. "Rest now, my little devil. We will meet very, very soon." With that, she disappears into the moonlight.

Author Notes

And here it is. The next chapter of the story. I originally intended to have this as one big chapter but I was too sleepy and really didn't know how to keep it going, so the next best thing was to split it into two until I could come up with something.

Also, if you guys have any issues with this fight, let me remind you of something: despite being a Gamer, the MC is not invincible. He can take hits from opponents stronger than him but that doesn't mean he can dish the same pain back. Also Fire Dragon Slayer Magic is no joke.

If Natsu's magic can destroy mountains, imagine them being amplified to the level of a god; even he wouldn't be able to handle it.

So what does this mean for the MC's future? You'll just have to wait and see.

As always, leave a comment. Good, bad, it doesn't matter.

Peace~
