I didn't end up sleeping on the floor after all. When it was time to sleep, Tobirama insisted that I sleep on the bed and he sleeps on the floor.
To be honest, I felt horrible, but he insisted on sleeping on the floor once more. I was too exhausted to quarrel with him about who gets to sleep in the bed. As a result, I simply accepted it.
Anyway, after hours of continual tossing and turning, this bed is unbearably unpleasant. Because I couldn't sleep, I decided to get out of bed and go for a walk.
I made an effort of slipping out of bed gently, especially since both Ayumi and Masako were in deep slumber.
Tobirama was nowhere to be found in the room, despite the fact that it was dark. Perhaps he found a new area to sleep.
I made my way out the door, closing it carefully. I then proceeded down the hall; it was also fairly dark, but I could still see where I was going.
I ultimately discovered a door leading to the outside. When I opened it and looked out, there was a balcony linked to the building. I was just loving the scenery from up here as I made my way further onto the platform.
"This night breeze felt fantastic," I said, leaning against the balcony ledge.
Looking out onto the Hidden Sand's vista. At night, it's extremely lovely here.
I wished I could come here with Haru or maybe Madara.
When I think of him, I get a rush of pain in my chest. I wish he could have met his son before he went.
"Damn bastard," I screamed, my rage boiling within me. As a result, I touched down on the railing I was resting against.
"Yuno"?, I hear a voice calling my name.
A little taken aback I turn around fast to check who is there.
I fixed my focus on the individual. I exhaled a sigh of relief. Knowing it's only Tobirama
To be honest, I'm not in the mood to speak. So I turn around and give him a modest smile.
"You couldn't sleep either, did you?" He asks me as walk over to him on the balcony
"Hm," is all I have to say in response.
"Don't you think it's a lovely night?" He inquired.
It was strange to see him like this without yelling or us fighting immediately away.
"Yeah, I guess so," I say. Turning around to face him
I started laughing solely because it was different from the two of us having a healthy conversation. In reality, we didn't quarrel as much as I expected. We had a few squabbles here and there, but they were manageable.
"What's amusing?" Tobirama inquires, clearly perplexed.
"Nothing," I said, lowering my head and leaning further onto the ledge.
"Did you have trouble sleeping?" I inquire.
"No"
"You"? "I couldn't, so I came to get some fresh air," I said, sighing.
"So, what are you doing out here?" looking for an answer from him
"It's our first time in this village," He replies, "and I don't trust them enough to sleep in one of their buildings."
"So you can't sleep?" I ask, raising my brow. After hearing my remark, he stared at me.
"No, I'm simply choosing to stay awake." "Oh, just say you're paranoid and can't sleep."
"Don't worry, I'm not going to tell anyone." "We don't want the Tobirama Senju to show weakness right now."
Moving away from the ledge and giggling as I began playfully nudging his arm.
"Why are you starting to annoy me?" He mutters.
"Anyway, what happened when you were striking the ledge earlier?" he questioned, his gaze fixed on me.
With a sigh and a forward look, "It was unimportant.
I was thinking about Madara and Haru just now "..
"Thinking about Haru disturbed you," he said, raising his brow.
"No, it was Madara," I said, glaring at him.
"What a jerk!" starting to kick the ledge.
Tobirama just stood there looking at me as I kicked the ledge. I turned to face him again after calming down a little.
"Oh, I see, so you're fine."
"What does that mean, Uchiha Lover?"
"And the Uchiha Hater is back," I retort, pretending to be relieved.
Stop calling me an Uchiha lover; I have nothing to do with that clan or that jerk, I retorted, kicking the ledge once more.
This time, I yelp back in pain, rubbing my foot.
Tobirama simply sighs and grins.
I looked up, ignoring the throbbing ache in my foot. My pupils dilate as I take in the scene.
"Wait, what happened?"
"Does that look like a smile?" pointing my index finger poking his face.
"Stop touching me," he growled as he moved away from the ledge and me.
I regained my composure and looked him in the eyes.
"I apologize; I'm just not used to you being polite to me."
"I have the impression you despise me."
"Especially since I was so close to the Uchiha and had a son who is a member of the clan."
"Even if the members of Haru's clan refuse to believe it."
"I'm well aware of the fact that you don't like or trust them."
"I don't hold anything against you." After Madara went, the clan rejected me and his son."
"I wouldn't say I like them either."
"Before our mission, you'd never speak to me, and if you did, you were cruel and blunt."
"But that changed, you weren't the nicest when we were in Hashirama's office, and you still aren't, but it was different from before."
"You're a little different even now."
"So, I thought something was wrong, but it turned out to be a false alarm," Smiling.
"Or it could just be that I'm not very good at reading people."
"You know I've never been very good at it." slightly chuckling
I shifted my sight away from him.
He just stood there, silent, his eyes dropped, and he leaned back against the ledge, looking ahead.
By doing the same, the two of us were now just leaning against the balcony ledge, staring out into the view. It was so quiet that all you could hear was our breathing.
We were like this for approximately five minutes, and it didn't feel awkward or strange; in fact, it felt tranquil. It was quickly ended as the wind began to pick up and blow sand in our faces. We both let go of the ledge.
"It appears that the storm Lord Kazekage warned us about has begun."
"We should go in," I said, turning to return to the balcony's entrance door.
Tobirama nodded in agreement, and we both returned inside. He remained silent and hadn't spoken whatsoever. It was starting to bother me because he should have talked by now.
We both made it back into the room we were staying in after closing the door.
We both made an effort to enter silently because Ayumi and Masako were still sleeping. I motioned for Tobirama to have the bed this time and I'd sleep on the floor because I had obtained the bed earlier
I wasn't going to argue this time, so I just set down on the futon here on the floor.
Tobirama finally sat quietly after a few moments on the bed. He also spoke, though it was only one word, and it was good of him to do so again, which I had not expected from him.
"Goodnight"
Then we both fell asleep.
