It was a lovely morning as the nurse entered the room and adjusted the blinds.

Allowing more light into the hospital room by opening the blinds. It was now filled with the sun's warm rays.

Shining brilliantly into the room, bringing out the colors in everything. With ruffles and movement emanating from behind

When she heard the sound, she turned around and called for the other nurse to bring Lady Mito.

"Mai"!

"Get Lady Mito in here as soon as possible," the first nurse exclaims.

"Yes, Rei," Nurse Mai responds.

Without hesitation, she sprang from her desk and dashed out of the room and down the corridor.

When Mai arrived at Lady Mito's office, she barged in without knocking.

"Lady Mito, hurry up!" She yells into the office

"What exactly is it, Nurse Mai?" Lady Mito question's

Lady Mito then lifted her head from the paperwork on her desk.

"We need you in room 222 immediately," nurse Mai replied.

With huffs and puffs, nurse Mai was out of breath from rushing down the corridor.

Lay Mito immediately gets up from her computer chair.

"Come on," Lady Mito urges

racing out of her office door, followed by nurse Mai both are in tune with each other as they head to the patient's room of 222.

Meanwhile

...

"Enough class, now settle down," a wide voice declares.

"Oh come on Hiroshi sensei," a student says.

"You guys need to quit messing about and start preparing for your Academy graduation."

"Please, graduation will be a piece of cake," the student responded with rolling his eyes.

"Oh, yeah sure?"

"Says the one who just fools around all day," mumbles a voice.

"Wait, what was that?"

"You trying to pick a fight, Uchiha!" the student exclaims as he slams his palms on the desk.

"Oh wait, are you sure you're an Uchiha? You don't even have your Sharingan yet," the boy snidely said.

"I'll still win against you even if I don't have it," the boy said, turning to face his classmate.

"Perhaps you should just worry about your mother," the child mumbles as he crosses his arms.

"What exactly did you say, Ichirou?" The youngster yells, balling his fist.

"You heard me, you wannabe Uchiha"!

A commotion begins to erupt within the classroom as two students argue.

The Sensei tries to calm everyone down, but it's futile because he can't get a hold of the kids. That is, until the door of the classroom slams open

Every student comes to a standstill when they hear the loud noise. This includes the two boys.

One of the village's Joinin stands by the door, turning their heads to face it.

"Haru Uchiha, would you kindly accompany me?" the man asks aloud in front of the entire class.

Whispers and snickers are heard among the kids after the announcement. Ichirou included.

"It appears that someone is in trouble," Ichirou snickers.

"You wish," Haru says to the boy.

He rises from his seat and walks up to the shinobi who is waiting for him at the door.

While he and the shinobi leave, the class's whispers and mumbles die down as the Sensai demand their attention.

The entire class returns their attention to Hiroshi Sensai. In the rear of the class, there is one student. Who looks out the window, keeping an eye on Haru and the shinobi as they leave the Academy.

"Where in the world are you dragging me?" Haru inquires casually.

Walking alongside the shinobi, his hands behind his head.

The shinobi then simply looks to his side, his gaze fixed on the tiny youngster.

"It's a surprise," he says, "so just follow."

"I don't even enjoy surprises," Haru mumbles, pouting.

He begins to move ahead of the shinobi, his hands down to his side from his head.

After a few minutes of strolling, The Leafs Hospital comes into view. Now that both are in full view of the hospital,

Haru suddenly gasped as he realized what the surprise was that he had been demanding to know the entire journey there.

He then quickened his pace and began running towards the hospital. He ran into the entrance. He got away from the shinobi who was leading him.

The shinobi silently lets him leave, trailing behind.

"Excuse me, you need to check in first," the receptionist says, gazing in the direction where the boy ran.

He lifted his hand to assure her that everything was fine. The shinobi then informs her of the situation.

She sits back down at her desk, nodding her head in agreement.

Haru continues to speed through the halls, eventually reaching the second floor and room 222.

He bursts to open the door without hesitation or second thought when he enters the room. He came to a halt in front of the sight in front of him.

When he saw the one person he had missed for so long, his eyes welled up with tears and his eyesight went fuzzy.

He quickly wiped the tears from his eyes, but it was futile as torrents of water began to fall down his face.

Everyone else in the room shifts their gaze to the young child. This includes the patient in the room. Whose eyes opened at the sight of him?

Water begged to fill her eyes as well, and even though she couldn't talk, she urged him to come closer.

He dashed to her side, tightening his grip on her. One who refuses to let go.

They both sobbed into each other's embrace, and Lady Mito began to sob as well.

"I've missed you for so long," Haru wailed into the woman's bosom while she held him.

He sat up and looked her in the eyes as she cradled his face in the palm of her hands.

"I've missed you for so long," he sobbed once again.

"Mmm...mom," he stuttered, his sobbing irrepressible as the words left his lips.

His mother clutched him closely as more tears streamed down her cheeks. Her tears were streaming down her face.

They let go of each other's embrace once the emotional moments of rejoining had passed, and the youngster turned his sight to Lady Mito, who was by their side.

Now that he had completely wiped the tears from his eyes, his vision was no longer fuzzy.

Lady Mito lets out a gasp as she makes eye contact with Haru

"It's your eye," she says.

"My eyes?" Haru raised his brow perplexed.

His mother quickly grabbed his arm and drew him to look at her.

Turning back to face his mother, he avoided making eye contact. Her eyes began to enlarge as well.

Taking note, the boy stands up and walks to the sink in the center of the room, opposite the mirror. His eyes were crimson, and a pattern was forming in them.

It was, of course, the Sharingan.

Haru then blinked to confirm what he was seeing. Because everything seemed to be a dream.

Blinking and opening his eyes again, the crimson disappeared and his eyes returned to their previous black color.

At that point, he was experiencing a wide range of emotions, and questions began to flood his thoughts. But he set those aside to concentrate on the one who had waited so long, his mother.

He returned to her side and sat by her on the bed. A smile spread across his lips as he looked at her frail appearance.

He was simply relieved that she was still alive. That she had awoken from her coma after nearly a decade.

He simply wanted her to say something. Even though Lord First has done his best to keep her alive and breathing on her own. But to keep her breathing, she was eventually placed on a vent.

She was awake now, but Lady Mito had her leave it on for a few minutes.

Lady Mito performed more examinations and recounted all that had occurred to Yuno. There were a lot of questions and few to no answers.

Lady Mito didn't want to add to Yuno's worry and simply wanted her to relax more. so lady Mito called it a day and told Yuno to get some rest.

"Haru?"

"Kiddo, it's time for you to go home."

"Try to sleep."

Lady Mito whispered as she rubbed the boy's shoulder.

He simply grinned up at her.

"I'm simply going to keep an eye on her," he said.

"All right," she said.

Then, waving goodbye, she exited the room and shut the door.

Haru then returned his gaze to his mother, who was already fast asleep. He leaned forward, resting his head on his arms, as he sat at her side.

He closed his eyes and fell asleep with a smile on his face.
