Eraserhead slid up his sleeve to look at the analog watch wrapped around his wrist. The operation wasn't too far away and a majority of those participating were already in place. There was one key aspect however lacking, and it just so happened to be the person who had organized this entire plan.
"You look worried."
"You're late," said Aizawa, not even bothering to turn to look at him.
"I had to deal with your students," responded Shirou.
Aizawa couldn't help but lightly grimace at the way that Shirou referred to his peers. He hoped that it was simply how he was acting now that he was on the field as opposed to when he was actually interacting with them. Given that he could barely refer to Shirou as his own student now didn't bring him much relief. "What did they do?"
"They tried to stop me?"
"Of course they did, they're concerned for you. We all are."
Shirou remained silent.
"Please tell me that you didn't hurt any of them," requested Aizawa.
"They're all fine," reassured Shirou. "I just had to convince them that them preventing me from being here would be a mistake."
"How did you convince them?"
Shirou reflected on the students that had stood before him, twenty strong teenagers who were training to put their lives on the line to do what was right. In their eyes, preventing him from stepping out onto the battlefield today had been the right thing to do. In that sense, they had all learnt one of the most valuable lessons that he could give. "I told them what was going to happen," stated Shirou calmly.
"You told them classified information about the mission?" asked Aizawa.
"No."
Aizawa scowled at the lackluster response given to him but knew better than to question it at the time. This was Shirou's mission, he wouldn't jeopardize it by doing something stupid. He was sure that he would get the answers he needed when the time came but for now they had to focus on the task at hand.
There was a job to do.
...
Jiro sat out the front of the dorms that Class 1-A called their home. Inside he could still hear a number of her classmates arguing amongst one another and it wasn't pretty. Given everything that they had been told, it was impossible for them not to argue. There were two very distinct ways that they could have taken the information that Shirou imparted on them, and neither was pretty. He had without question caused a divide between his peers but perhaps that had been his intent.
Shirou rarely did anything without a reason, perhaps they would learn what said reason was in due time.
The nearby door slid open and Jiro looked up to see Yaoyorozu stepping out to join her. "I think you had the right idea to get out when you did," Momo stated as she took a seat next to her peer.
"I ca essentially hear it all regardless, doesn't matter if I'm out here or in there," said Jiro, gazing out into the distance once more. "I know where my mind lays on the matter regardless."
"So you don't want to voice your opinion?" asked Momo.
"My mind is made up on the matter and even though I don't know what's going to happen from here on out, it's clear that we're in too deep. If we say anything to the heroes than we essentially destroy any chance of what Shirou has planned actually happening. If we don't say anything than we get in trouble for keeping this information hidden and it's not just like a slap on the wrist kind of trouble. This is real trouble that could end up with us getting expelled or worse."
"Does that worry you?"
There were a few seconds silence as Jiro considered her answer. "I know that it should, it really should," she said slowly. "Yet I can't help but think that this is the right play, even though it goes against everything we've been taught. We've seen what the League if Villains is capable of and the heroes have been on the back foot for quite some time. A different approach is needed and I honestly don't know what happens afterwards."
"I understand, which is why we need to act immediately," said Momo, her gaze sharpening.
"Act? Do you have a plan?" asked Jiro in shock.
"No, but if none of us do anything, than all of us are in danger. If a few of us are willing to make the sacrifice then we can save the others," stated Momo.
Jiro grit her teeth together as she considered what Yaoyorozu was saying and what it would mean for those who chose to go down that path. Even if there wasn't a clear plan in place, the path they would be walking would be a perilous one as it would result in them losing everything for the sake of the end goal. They would find no friends, no allies and no help.
It would be all or nothing, provided she was properly understanding what Momo was saying.
"When do we start?"
"Go inside, pack whatever you need and wait for my signal," instructed Yaoyorozu. "I'll make a few phone calls and make some arrangements."
"Understood."
Jiro remained seated as Yaoyorozu stood up and made her way inside. As she was finally alone, everything swiftly came crashing down as she realized just what she had effectively signed up for. It was very much indeed, all or nothing.
...
The steel shackles connecting her ankles to her wrists chaffed against her skin as she was dragged towards her transport. A convoy of identical armored trucks lined up in a row, four in total. Toga wasn't surprised by the level of security given, she was part of the League of Villains after all.
What did surprise her was the look of confusion on the guards. "I thought there were only meant to be three?" she heard one of them say.
"Must mean the third truck," one of the other nameless goons declared.
"Makes sense."
Toga didn't say anything as she hobbled towards the third truck, her damaged foot aching with each step. She had been under the impression that an operation of this magnitude would have been planned meticulously with every person knowing every detail that they were required to know.
That was unless something had changed last minute, but surely those leading her should at least know exactly what truck to put her in beforehand and not question it. Toga didn't know why but she was getting a strange feeling about all of this. Something wasn't right and she didn't know whether she should be terrified or not.
All she knew however was that if anything was going to happen, it was going to happen very soon.
...
Midnight reached up to her earpiece, listening in to the communication being given. Behind her, Kamui Woods and Fat Gum waited for the signal to be given.
The professional hero knew that roughly a mile east of their location were the Wild, Wild Pussycats, all four of their members primed and ready to help out with the operation. Given that the four of them had previously encountered the League of Villains they had something of a personal matter in all of this. When the call had been sent out, the four of them had signed on without hesitation.
Dozens of other heroes had signed up on the task, knowing the gravity of the situation. One of their potential biggest assets however had refused to come. The number two hero, Endeavour, had refused to join due to the operation having been organized by a teenager. As much as Midnight wished to state something against it, she couldn't argue his point of view. It wasn't only the number two hero who felt this way however as a number of heroes had chosen not to align with their mission due to Shirou being the one to craft together the entirety of the plan alongside Vlad King. While some had chosen not to sign up due to Shirou, others had refused because Vlad King had been attached to the project, something about him not being of sound mind.
Midnight believed in her friend though. She wasn't the only one, as a number of top ten heroes had also listened to the request and signed forth. Ryukyu, Edgeshot and Best Jeanist had all agreed to join and gave the hero side more than a fighting chance in the battle to come. Well, the battle that was meant to come provided the League took the bait.
Everyone had taken part in looking at the map of where the convoy would be going and had picked nine locations where an ambush was likely to take place. At least three heroes were planted at each location with the intention of intercepting the League if they appeared. She truly hoped so, for as much as Shirou had brought forth this plan it still had the flaw of potentially not coming through. An armored convoy was always heavily guarded and a risky target. At the first sign of an attack, the three trucks were instructed to make their way off the designated path and meet at a specified rendezvous point where Gang Orca was leading a squad of his own. The last thing they needed was for the prisoner to be freed if everything went south.
"The trucks are on the move," declared Kamui Woods. "But there's a problem."
"What kind of problem?" asked Midnight.
"There's four trucks," stated Kamui Woods.
"Did something change? Were we not informed?" asked Fat Gum.
Midnight bit at her inner lip as she considered this new development. Vlad King had been the one to organize the convoy, utilizing his own personal connections. Had he altered something last minute?
"Objective remains the same, believe in the mission," declared Midnight. "Remember that if nothing happens in our area we are to make our way to sector D for the next phase. The mission is on, let's stay focused."

Jiro scoped out the kitchen while a backpack was slung over her shoulder. It seemed as if the coast of clear and she silently gave Yaoyorozu a sign to follow her. The two teenagers walked quickly in an attempt to make it to the exit as swiftly as possible without being spotted. In a sense, it worked perfectly as they left the dormitories without being seen by anybody behind them.
There was however one person standing in front of them, leaning against a tree with their arms crossed over their chest. "You know you two idiots look way too suspicious trying to be something resembling normal."
"Oh, um, Bakugo, what a surprise to..." stated Yaoyorozu.
"Can it Ponytail. It's clear that you and Earphones are doing something which, given your backpacks and the fact you don't want to be seen, has some pretty big consequences. Now, if you're doing something half as stupid as I think it is then we need to go by the Support Lab to pick up my new equipment."
"Wait, we?" asked Jiro trying to keep her emotions in check.
"Are those things just for decoration or what? I'm not repeating myself and I know that the two of you are basically his biggest fanboys so I can connect the dots here. Now, we are going to the lab and the two of you are going to break down whatever plan you have to help him out."
As much as Jiro and Yaoyorozu wished to argue, it very much felt as if their two person operation had reluctantly gained another member. For better or worse.

Leaping across the rooftops with relatively ease, Shirou easily kept pace with where he needed to be at the given time. The Magus was fully armed with everything that he needed at that moment, prepared for everything that was about to happen. The heroes were all stationed where they were meant to be and the convoy was on the move.
Now it was time to derail everything that the heroes had planned. Now it was time for him to enact the plan that he and Vlad King had organized. From his vantage point, Shirou notched a single arrow into the black bow that he had brought with him from U.A. Taking into account the wind that billowed through his jacket, Shirou pulled the bowstring back.
A soft crack into the rooftop caught his attention, causing Shirou's glance to waver and to look at the feather that was embedded into the roof mere inches from him. "Oi, oi, oi, unless you can see the League when none of the heroes have reported it in, there should be no reason for you to have your weapon aimed and ready," said the unknown hero, is voice calm as if having expected this.
"I see, they didn't trust me after all," said Shirou calmly, holding his position.
"It's not that they didn't trust you per say, but they were just cautious of the fact..."
"Don't try and sugarcoat it," cut off Shirou, adjusting his aim slightly.
"Well, regardless of whether they trust you or not, fact of the matter is that I'm here to prevent you from being an idiot and doing something stupid," stated the hero.
"Sorry, as someone I know might say, I'm the biggest idiot of them all," said Shirou as he let loose the arrow. Not even bothering to watch it strike it's designated target, Shirou turned to look at the hero that had been assigned to watch him. "I take it there's a reason why you didn't shoot my arrow out of the air."
"I could have, but it would have been harder to prove your guilt if you never actually accomplished whatever it is you're planning," said Hawks, the number three hero hovering in the air. "Now though, we have all the evidence we need."
Shirou's eyes sharpened as he analyzed the flying hero in front of him. His black bow and his remaining arrows vanished from existence in a golden haze as he reached behind his back and pulled out his twin blades, Kanshou and Bakuya.
"And now it makes me feel as if you had expected something like this to happen," said Hawks.
Shirou said nothing as he got himself into position. He had expected some manner of confrontation to occur and had planned accordingly. After all, he had already set things in motion and this was a predictable outcome.
Here's where things got difficult.
