Act V:
A day and a night later, at Ben's house...
Mattie, Julia, and Anya are sitting around a mostly light blue computer with some wood chairs. They're watching a behind the scenes video of the Pepsi music video The Joy of Pepsi. The walls of the house are mostly light green with brown diagonal stripes.
Mattie wonders, "after this... Would you like more ask for more?" Anya and Julia lightly go, "sure!"
They're all smiling.
Annoyed sounding... Ben comments, "you already tonight had popcorn, pretzels, dinner, and ice cream. What more do you want to eat?"
He's standing in a open doorway to the kitchen area.
The three girls make awkward faces.
Anya explains, "sorry Ben. We were talking about Pepsi promotional CDs. Mattie owns all three different regional versions of Ask for More, and we're almost done watching the first one."
Ben realizes, "ohh. My mistake."
He makes a awkward face.
With a smirk... Mattie somewhat lightly argues, "also... Your sister had cravings, and she wanted to share snacks and ice cream with us. Don't blame us for indulging some."
Ben and Anya laugh a little.
Julia somewhat awkwardly brings up, "actually... I think I had a little too much. I can still feel some ice cream moving down."
She is clutching her side. She groans hard.
Anya puts a comforting hand on top of hers.
They smile to each other.
Meanwhile, in the kitchen...
Cassie and Autumn are sitting at the kitchen table playing a game of Battleship.
Autumn concludes, "you already sunk half of my ships. Are you sure you're not using your powers now?"
She raises a eyebrow.
Cassie lightly points out, "hey. You sunk half of mine too!"
Autumn chuckles.
She replies, "don't worry Cassie. I'm just teasing you."
Cassie chuckles.
Cassie adds, "I know."
They smile.
Suddenly... A gush of water seems to pour from under the table.
Cassie inquires nervously, "what the hell?!"
Autumn realizes, "Cassie... Either I peed myself or my water broke."
She looks red in the face in embarrassment.
Cassie nervously concludes, "I hate to tell you this, Autumn. But... From the smell? I think it's the latter."
Autumn shakily murmurs, "oh...my god... It's happening now?!"
Cassie calls out, "Ben! ! Girls! We got a situation."
Ben and the three girls hurry over to the kitchen area.
Cassie explains Autumn's situation to them.
At the same time... Cassie has a comforting hand on Autumn's.
Ben brings up, "but... Thomas isn't here, and the baby isn't due for two weeks!"
Julia nervously murmurs, "wow. What do we do now?"
Autumn winces in pain. She's clutching her side with her other hand.
With a warning glare... Autumn remarks, "I don't think the baby got the memo, Ben! !"
Mattie nervously asks, "um... You mean he's coming here in the dining room?!"
Julia and Anya gulp nervously.
Autumn answers, "if Ben or Cassie doesn't get me to the hospital right now? Then yes."
She continues to wince in pain.
Cassie and Ben help her get up.
Cassie plans out, "um... Ben? Your car only has enough room for five people, and the taxi was confiscated by police at the supermarket yesterday. How about I drive her to the hospital? You and the girls can take the subway and meet us at the hospital. I'll even give you some of my money."
Ben kind of reluctantly says, "well, if that's what you really feel is best now..."
They're all heading out of the house. They're walking toward Ben's car.
Mattie concludes, "I really don't like this idea, Cassie. We were almost dead twice without you protecting us."
Autumn says, "she has a point."
Cassie insists, "girls? Ben has served in the army. You'll be safe."
She hands some money over to Ben. Ben gives her the keys to his car.
At the same time... Cassie and Julia are helping Autumn to the car.
Julia voices, "Cassie... You're like a mother to me. I don't want to lose another mother figure! Please. Hard sniffle. Please at least take me with you."
The girls are all getting teary eyed. Cassie and Ben make awkward faces.
With mixed feelings... Cassie tries to assure, "girls? I... I know you all want to come. But... Hard sniffle. I already had one friend die in a car crash. I don't want any of us to die! You'll all be safer if I do this alone. Okay?"
On the last part? She points toward Julia like she's about to grab a spider web line in her hand.
Cassie unlocks the car door by the front seat opposite of the driver's seat.
Anya awkwardly brings up, "um... Cassie? It doesn't have to be this complicated, and we're running out of time. I have a car within walking distance of your apartment and mine."
Julia and Mattie look wide eyed in shock. Ben and Cassie are helping Autumn into a back seat of the car.
Julia and Mattie incredulously go, "why didn't you tell us before Cassie stole a taxi?!"
Anya apologizes, "I'm sorry. I... I was scared with Morlun and the police chasing us. And... I forgot I had a car. Hard sniffle. My mom left her car to me in her will. Hard sniffle. You can see why I don't usually talk much about my car to anyone."
There's a very awkward silence.
After a bit... Cassie considers, "well... I really didn't see a vision of that coming. So... Maybe that's a good sign I'm just worrying too much here."
She gets red in the face in embarrassment. Everyone else awkwardly smiles.
Autumn grumpily comments, "about time. Hard groan. Please hurry!"
Cassie figures, "you're right. Mattie, Anya, and Ben can take Anya's car. Julia? Do you still want to come with awkward me?"
Julia adds, "yeah. I really do, Cassie."
They both smile wide.
They both say goodbye to Ben, Mattie, and Anya. They say goodbye back.
Cassie sits in the front seat of Ben's car. Julia sits in the front seat opposite her. Cassie, Julia, and Autumn have buckled up their seatbelts.
Anya fast walks in the direction of her car. Ben and Mattie follow her.
Cassie drives Ben's car fast for the nearest hospital.
Soon... Anya finds her car on the driveway of her landlord's mostly green house.
Anya's car is mostly pink with silvery lines across it.
Anya uses the keys to her car to unlock the car.
She sits in the front seat of her car. Ben sits in the front seat opposite her. Mattie sits in a back seat. They all buckle up their seatbelts.
Anya drives her car fast in the direction of Ben's car.
On the way to the hospital... Anya explains more about her car.
Anya solemnly explains, "my landlord doesn't usually let people park more cars on the driveway of his house. But... My dad bribed him with three hundred dollars to make a exception. My dad, along with his car, was taken away by I.C.E. before he could drive back here from work. Hard sniffle. But... My landlord didn't give up either of us to the government. He still kept the deal with me and my dad."
Mattie solemnly says, "Anya? I wish I had your dad. He sounds like a great dad."
Anya concludes, "thank you Mattie. He was a great dad."
Some tears fall from her face. She sniffles hard.
Anya, Mattie, and Ben solemnly smile in a knowing way.
What they don't notice...is a security camera for a store catching sight of Mattie's face.
From Jill's apartment... Jill reports, "Morlun? I've got something. Mattie's face and Ben Robert's face were just seen by a security camera of a store. Both of them and a girl are in the same car. They're following another car closely."
Several screens from security cameras and traffic cameras are on her computer.
Over comlink... Morlun states, "track the route."
Jill nervously adds, "tracking..."
After a bit... Jill gets sighting of Cassie's and Julia's faces on a traffic cam.
Jill reports, "traffic cam footage just caught Cassie Web's face and Julia Carpenter Cornwall's face. Cassie is driving Ben Robert's car. Both cars are on the southwest of Vernon Avenue on route to a hospital. And... From traffic cam footage alone? It looks like Autumn Roberts either is about to give birth or is in need of surgery."
Morlun is running up the side of a skyscraper without shoes or socks on.
Over comlink... Morlun plans out, "Autumn is not my concern. Cassie had her chance to walk away. But, she's clearly not walking away from the three girls. Hack into traffic control. Turn the lights red before Anya drives across the intersection. Keep them red until I say they go green. As soon as Autumn is at the hospital? Cassie and the girls die tonight."
Jill somewhat shakily says, "understood."
Jill hacks into traffic lights to turn the lights red before Anya can drive her car alongside Ben's car. Anya frustratedly sighs.
Morlun checks warily, "is there a problem?" Jill is quick to say, "no."
With a creepy grin... Morlun thinks out loud, "good. But... Cassie alive and her mother dead? Las Aranyas? That's why Cassie has been one step ahead so far. She has spider DNA, and she has more frequent visions of the future than me. But... Cassie still has one weakness. And... I'm going to turn it against her. I'll give her a final vision she'll never forget."
Jill gulps nervously. She gets teary eyed.
Around then, back with Cassie and Julia...
Cassie drives Ben's car to a hospital. They park in the back of the hospital.
Cassie and Julia help Autumn out of the car. They get to the front desk of the hospital to ask for a hospital room.
Autumn keeps thanking Cassie and Julia. They say she's welcome.
Hospital staff take Autumn on a wheelchair to a hospital room.
And... Security camera footage of the hospital shows all of this on Jill's computer.
With mixed feelings... Jill reports, "Autumn is in the hospital now."
Morlun instructs, "good. Now... Turn all traffic lights on Vernon Avenue to green."
Tears are falling from Jill's face. She sniffles hard.
And... She thinks to herself, "Cassie? Girls? Heavy sigh. I really hope Cassie's visions are enough to help you all fight back. Good luck."
Back with Anya and Mattie...
Jill hacks into the lights around Vernon Avenue to turn them all green.
Anya annoyedly mutters, "finally! We can go."
Anya starts to drive across the intersection...when plenty of cars are speeding in all directions.
Several car crashes and screams are heard. Smoke and fire is coming from a car in every direction.
Ben nervously asks, "why is no one stopping?"
Mattie calls out, "Anya: Watch out!"
Anya gasps.
She almost crashes into a speeding car.
Her and several other drivers barely avoid hitting each other.
And... They unintentionally form a circle of cars on the road.
Jill puts the traffic lights back to normal. She sighs in her hands in great relief.
Police sirens and ambulance sirens are heard.
Ben asks in concern, "everyone okay?"
Almost at the same time... Anya and Mattie say, "yeah."
They both sigh in great relief.
Ben figures, "good. Um... Girls? Is that who I think it is?!"
The three of them see Morlun high jumping off of a billboard platform.
Anya mutters under her breath, "oh...my god. It's Morlun! !"
She, Ben, and Mattie are about to hurry out of the car.
But... Just then... Morlun violently jump tumble lands right through the car's windshield.
Mattie gasps.
Glass rains down over Anya and Ben. They reactively cover their faces.
Morlun violently grabs them both by the throat by surprise. He's using his mystically glowing near blackish green fingernails to pull psychokinetic pulsing red energy out of them.
Anya and Ben are starting to violently cough up dark red liquid.
Morlun is in the midst of ranting, "the big vampire boy meals start now. It's time to...die..."
Suddenly... There's flashes of blurry spider webs, a curtain of darkness, and a bright light.
Presently, out in the physical...
Cassie finds herself about to walk into Autumn's hospital room to check on Autumn. Julia is already checking on Autumn.
Cassie looks wide eyed in shock from the vision she just saw of Anya and Ben. She gasps.
Cassie fast walks into Autumn's hospital room.
Cassie concludes, "Autumn? I'm really sorry for leaving this fast. Julia? We got to save Anya, Ben, and Mattie now. Come on! !"
Julia quickly nods.
Autumn seems mostly okay despite the part about giving birth any minute. She says she understands.
Doctors are getting ready to help Autumn deliver the baby.
Cassie and Julia run for the back of the hospital.
And... They happen to find a unattended ambulance there.
Cassie and Julia smirk a little.
Without a second thought... Cassie uses a bobby pin to pick the lock on the ambulance door.
She gets into the driver's seat. Julia gets into the front seat opposite her.
Cassie drives the ambulance for Vernon Avenue with sirens going off. Two more ambulances are starting to head there with sirens going off.
Cassie somewhat nervously concludes, "Julia... I'm not trying to scare you. But... Heavy sigh. Morlun is going to jump from a billboard on Vernon Avenue any minute to try to kill Anya and Ben, and I can't drive there in time before he jumps. Any idea on how we stop him?"
Julia nervously implies, "I have one. It's a long shot. But... Moderate sigh. It has a fifty fifty chance of working."
With a smirk... Cassie concludes, "good enough for me. Julia? Please walk me through it."
With a smirk... Julia just says, "all right."
Around then, back with Anya and Mattie...
Anya and several other drivers barely avoid hitting each other.
And... They unintentionally form a circle of cars on the road.

Cassie hurriedly opens the back of the ambulance. Julia rolls out the medical stretcher toward the back.
From Anya's car... Ben figures, "good. Um... Girls? Is that who I think it is?!"
He, Anya, and Mattie see Morlun high jumping off of a billboard platform.
Julia explains to Cassie, "if we throw the stretcher at a good enough angle? It'll change his landing."
Cassie quickly nods.
She and Julia grab the medical stretcher.
And... They throw it hard at a diagonal angle in Morlun's direction.
Anya mutters under her breath, "oh...my god. It's Morlun! !"
She, Ben, and Mattie are about to hurry out of the car.
But... Just then... A thrown medical stretcher in the air hits Morlun in the back.
He's sent crash tumbling through the windshields of two other cars.
Morlun groans hard. He's a little dizzy.
Morlun mutters under his breath, "damn her visions! !"
He's slowly but surely getting back up from a car's hood.
Many people are running out of their cars in a panic. Police cars and more ambulances are arriving on the scene.
Anya, Mattie, and Ben sigh in relief.
Mattie shakily mutters, "that was so too close."
With no opening to move Anya's car? Anya, Mattie, and Ben hurry out of the car.
Cassie calls out, "get in! Go! !"
Without a second thought... Anya, Mattie, and Ben get into the back of the ambulance.
Julia and Ben close the back of the ambulance.
Cassie drives the ambulance away from Morlun and the circle of cars.
Everyone else is sitting in the back of the ambulance.
Anya considers, "great save, Cassie. But... I hope the government doesn't take my car."
Cassie admits, "actually... If it wasn't for Julia's plan? We wouldn't have saved you all. But, you're still welcome."
Anya hugs Julia close. Julia hugs her back.
Over Julia's shoulder... Anya says, "thank you Julia."
Julia says, "you're welcome."
Everyone is smiling some.
Cassie assures, "and... Anya? Don't worry about your car or I.C.E. You're not going to be deported on my watch."
Julia and Anya pull away some.
But... Everyone is smiling wider now.
Morlun is run jumping from car roof to car roof to go after Cassie. He is not dizzy now.
Cassie figures, "Ben? Autumn needs you by her side: Especially now. We'll drop you off at the hospital. Then... Me and the girls are taking down Morlun together."
Ben somewhat nervously pinpoints, "you know... I liked it better when we were working as a team of paramedics. Less chance of us getting hurt."
Cassie voices, "and I really appreciate that. But... I'm serious too, Ben. The time is coming soon where I'll have greater power. I... I can feel it somehow."
Ben figures, "well... For all of our sakes... I hope you're right."
Cassie adds, "so do I."
Everyone awkwardly smiles some.
Not long after...
Cassie has dropped off Ben at the hospital. He goes into the hospital to be there for his sister Autumn.
Cassie drives away from the hospital.
She sees Morlun running toward them from high up the walls of the hospital.
Suddenly... Cassie sees flashes of blurry spider webs, a curtain of darkness, and a bright light.
She sees Morlun violently swinging through the back of the ambulance.
A ambulance door flying off its hinges...and violently crashing into a screaming Julia.
Presently, out in the physical...
Cassie says, "Anya and Julia? Get ready to duck. Mattie? Charge the AED."
The girls smile some in a knowing way.
Morlun jump lands onto the ambulance.
Cassie steers hard to the left.
Morlun violently swings down right through the ambulance back doors.
The back doors fly off the hinges. Anya and Julia duck just in time to avoid one of the back doors hitting them.
At the same time... Mattie charges a Automated External Defibrillator unit in the ambulance.
Cassie calls out, "Mattie... Now!"
Morlun is about to violently grab Mattie.
But... Cassie's warning helps Mattie react faster.
Mattie violently kicks Morlun in between the legs.
He violently groans. He struggles to hold back a scream.
With a heated glare... Mattie calls out, "eat my volts, vampire bastard! !"
At the same time... She electrically shocks Morlun with both ends of the AED.
Morlun violently coughs. He tumble crashes off the ambulance.
All the girls look wide eyed in shock.
But... They're all smiling wide.
Anya says, "good shot Mattie."
Mattie lightly comments, "thanks. Cassie isn't the only one showing off now."
With a wide smile... Cassie figures, "yeah. Maybe a little."
Julia chuckles.
Cassie checks, "are you all okay?"
The three girls assure her they're okay.
Suddenly... Cassie sees flashes of blurry spider webs, a curtain of darkness, and a bright light.
Cassie sees her and the three girls running for a certain Hammer Industries warehouse.
A lot of exploding missiles. Her and the three girls using tarps to glide up and over a huge gust of hot air. All four of them landing safely on a platform for a mostly bright orange neon sign for Mazda RX-7 cars.
At the same time... She hears distant echoes, "do you think you really know your mother? Your future? This place has always been a death trap. Go! ! Run! ! Cassie! ! ! You can't save all of them! I can sure as hell still...! ! Cassie! ! !"
Presently, out in the physical...
Cassie opens her eyes.
She gasps.
She steers the ambulance to the left just in time to avoid a speeding car hitting her.
Cassie parks the ambulance in a underground road tunnel. She turns off the ambulance sirens.
Julia asks warily, "Cassie? Do we still have Morlun after us? What's happening now?"
All three girls look nervously toward Cassie.
Cassie gets out of the driver's seat. She walks over to the three girls.
Cassie thinks out loud, "okay girls. Things are going to get crazy. I mean... Crazier. But, whatever happens? I promise to keep protecting you."
Julia concludes, "we'll protect each other."
They all smile wide.
Anya says, "yeah." Mattie somewhat lightly remarks, "and we're not bailing by a long shot."
Cassie offers to high five.
Mattie tells her, "sorry. I like you. But... We are still not doing high five."
Completely unphased... Cassie suggests, "I know. How about fist bumps?"
Mattie deduces, "yeah. That'd be cooler."
Cassie lightly bumps her fist on Mattie's.
Soon... They're all lightly fist bumping each other's fists.
Anya and Julia chuckle.
Cassie states, "cool. Now... Girls? Let's go take down Morlun."
Cassie gets into the driver's seat. Julia gets into the front seat opposite her.
Julia puts a comforting hand on Cassie's.
They smile wide to each other.
Then... Cassie, with both hands, drives the ambulance for a certain warehouse.
A half hour later, at the Hammer Industries warehouse...
Two security guards are standing in front of the warehouse.
Seconds later... Mattie and Julia knock them out from behind with well timed kicks.
Both security guards fall unconscious.
Mattie sarcastically remarks, "good security."
The three girls and Cassie chuckle. The ambulance is parked right by the warehouse.
Anya points out, "you know... This doesn't look safe."
Cassie figures, "well, it's a Hammer Industries warehouse. It's full of missiles and machine guns. It's a death trap."
Julia nervously asks, "and that's a good thing how?"
Cassie reasons, "as long as we're not the ones who get trapped. It would be enough pryokinetic energy to knock him out long enough to take him to S.H.I.E.L.D. custody. No matter what happens, we need to work together. Okay?"
Mattie assures, "yeah. We won't be too impulsive. We're ready for this."
Anya and Julia agree.
Cassie uses one of the guard's keys to unlock the warehouse door.
Cassie concludes, "good. Anya? Mattie? Go into the warehouse with the guns of the guards. Fire on several small missiles on my mark. That alone will be enough to blow up the whole building. Julia? We're collecting tarps."
Anya and Mattie each take a rifle from a unconscious guard. They head into the warehouse.
Julia looks fairly confused. But, she doesn't argue.
Julia and Cassie head into the warehouse to gather four big mostly very dark blue tarps. There are plenty of big tarps over the large missiles.
Suddenly... Cassie and Julia see Morlun run charging for the open door.
Cassie calls out, "now! !"
Anya and Mattie shoot the rifles for several small missiles.
Several small explosions go off.
But... The fires from it are beginning to quickly spread across the rest of the missiles.
Morlun tries hard to dodge and jump off of all the incoming missiles.
Cassie tells the girls, "everyone get a tarp, hold onto the corners, and run. Go! Go! !"
Mattie and Anya hurriedly drop the rifles in their hands.
Cassie and the girls break into a run for a metal ladder.
Cassie quickly hands Anya a tarp. Julia quickly hands Mattie a tarp.
Cassie and the girls are all holding tarps up like parachutes.
A big explosion knocks the metal ladder into the air. Another big explosion bursts a hole through the roof.
At the same time... Cassie jump runs across the diagonally angled metal ladder.
The girls follow her lead.
Cassie and the girls high jump off of the metal ladder.
And... A big burst of hot air from all the smoke and fire carries them all up and through the hole in the roof.
The warehouse has become a smoking crater of fire.
But... Cassie and the girls are gliding high in the sky.
Anya lightly goes, "that was awesome! !" Julia lightly says, "that was amazing. Can we go again, Cassie?"
Mattie lightly calls out, "we're queens of the sky! !"
Julia and Cassie chuckle.
Cassie tells them, "you're welcome for the hot air ride."
They're all smiling wide.
They see a neon sign of Mazda RX-7 cars up ahead.
Suddenly... Morlun swing jumps off of the last missile.
He hotwired the missile to avoid the warehouse explosion.
The missile explodes harmlessly behind him.
And... Morlun violently grabs Anya.
With a creepy grin... Morlun calls out, "you should have walked away, Cassie! !"
Getting teary eyed... Cassie, Mattie, and Julia cry out, "Anya! !"
Anya takes a deep breath and closes her eyes.
Morlun starts to drain the psychokinetic energy from her.
But... Just then... Anya violently hurls him into the neon sign with her tarp over his head.
They both are sent flying into the neon sign.
Morlun violently groans from the electrical blast. Anya is violently groaning over the side of a neon sign letter. Her grip is starting to slip.
Cassie, Julia, and Mattie are still several minutes away from the platform of the neon sign.
Morlun mutters, "you can't save them all. And when that happens... I still win."
Cassie realizes, "wait. A greater power..."
She takes a deep breath and closes her eyes.
She mentally reaches out for Anya.
And... When Cassie opens her eyes?
She sees a psychokinetic ghost like copy of herself helping Anya onto the platform just in time.
Cassie and the three girls sigh in great relief.
Cassie, Mattie, and Anya reach the platform.
Morlun cries out angrily, "you will not kill me. You're as weak as your mother. I'm faster, stronger...in every way! !"
He violently hurls two neon sign letters at Julia and Cassie.
But... Cassie just concentrates hard enough to project two psychokinetic ghost like copies of herself to throw the sign letters back at Morlun.
Morlun is violently coughing up dark red liquid.
He is hanging now from the platform. His grip is staring to slip. Fire is spreading across the neon sign.
Cassie and the girls are smiling wide.
Cassie confidently concludes, "I can sure as hell beat you Morlun. I'm as strong willed as my mother. All the girls are strong willed. You've been trying to change your future of dying by their hands. But... It was always me that lead them to be heroes. Stand down, and you can start to change your future for the better. You don't have to die."
She walks over to Morlun. She offers her hand to him.
Morlun angrily mutters, "I...will never stand down to you! !"
With his last ounce of strength? He grabs her violently with his other arm.
And... The whole neon sign is crashing down in flames and smoke.
The girls cry out, "Cassie! ! !"
They try to get Cassie off the platform.
But... Morlun and Cassie fall fast into the water by the docks along with the remains of the neon sign.
Seconds later... All three girls dive into the water after Cassie.
Morlun is sinking in the water in his dying breath.
Cassie tries to swim back to the surface.
But... A flare from one of the exploding neon sign letters makes her vision get blurrier all a sudden.
Cassie starts to fall unconscious in the water.
Julia, with her glasses off, swims over to her.
And... With Mattie's help?
Julia pulls Cassie out of the water.
The girls get Cassie to the side of the docks. They lay down Cassie's unconscious body on the ground.
Anya checks her pulse.
Anya says, "her pulse is fading!"
Julia assures, "but we know what to do. Begin compressions."
She starts compressions on Cassie's heart.
The three girls keep saying, "come back, Cassie! Please come back."
Julia reflects, "you're our mother figure. We need you. Please... Come back..."
Soon... All three girls have taken turns doing compressions on Cassie's hearts.
Suddenly... Cassie starts to breathe again.
Mattie says, "wow! That was close."
Anya lightly realizes, "oh my god. We did it!"
Julia says, "welcome back, Cassie."
All three girls put comforting hands on one of Cassie's hands.
Cassie and the three girls are all smiling wide.
What they all don't notice at the moment...is that Cassie has become physically blind from a certain flare.
