Episode 3 - Average to Special
Mimori's POV
['I was too average...]
I'm at the bench right now...Watching everyone passes by my eyes. I'm here at the school's park, where other students minding their own business.
If it isn't about Shadowverse, they talk about other things.
A huge sigh escape my lips as I finished eating my bento box.
I didn't join my dorm mates to eat at the pantry. I did not feel like it.
I want to be alone for now...
Because...
Even inside this ARC facility...Am the average of all Shadowverse players.
Lot have shed tears in my neighborhood when I was naturally chosen to be on the list.
It was an average outcome for me to be part of the balance.
Therefore other girls who is better than me were deeply hurt.
I have hurt them.
And then some girls that am actually friends with, they turned on me.

Location: School track/ P.E. Lessons Time
Its PE class, Amamiya Mimori's turn.
A normal flip.
"Ok! Good job! Next!" Marcel Tabeoka is the teacher right now for PE. He used to be a chef but now here he is promoting for wellness body not only Shadowverse.
Since the kids are lock up in this environment, moving their body is a must not just their brains. Even though Mimori's grades were never low nor high, everything about her is well balance.
There is no problem.
However this make Mimori depress. "Thank you for the time!" She bowed and went to the bench. Sitting at the bench, Maura and Kazuki greets Mimori.
"Good job on the flip Mimori!" Is Kazuki's cheer. While Maura complimented Mimori.
"I'm amazed you can keep that same record for 3 years. Same marks on flip's~" although Maura already noticed. "Though, you don't seem happy~?"
Mimori forced to smile. "I'm just a bit tired..."
Maura and Kazuki looks at each other puzzled.
Mimori told herself.
'Just keep it inside...All your insecurities Mimori!'
Meanwhile...
At the other class also doing their P.E.
Ijuuin Kai from afar is observing Maura Abelard. Of course he won't forget it, it is not something you can forget after witnessing.

Kai is done with his turn so he had the time to daze around and he happen to see Mimori joining Maura and Kazuki at the bench. The way Maura can keep smiling like that, but the small gesture of Maura rubbing his elbows did not go unnoticed.
More like...Kai can now properly read Maura and his movements from now on.
Maura is someone whose hard to read because he looks playful like a cat, he speaks very polite yet full of riddles and worst part his movements are indeed suspicious.
'This changes how I see him...'
Maura is no longer that mysterious to him, because he saw it.
The sadistic Havencraft user that everyone fears is actually a lab rat.
'Has Maura-san always been rubbing his body?'
Kai traced back at his memories. Maura has this habit of embracing his own self or crossing his arms then rubs his elbows. Aside from doing a twerk position whenever he wants to be the meanest at the room...
Kai thought it was just a mannerism from the watermelon head.
However if you look now on a different picture it means Maura is hurting. He was just enduring it all this time through his fake smile that literally pisses everyone off but nobody dares to challenge it or you will get cursed.
Kai doing his inner monologue as he lock stare at where Mimori, Maura and Kazuki where.
'Everything makes sense now. Back then I would have think Maura-san is being lazy. But now I knew the dark truth why he is like this...because he endured so much torture. It makes me think if thats a training for a soldier to fight against the empty shadows or is it just purely some experiement?'
Kurobane Alice who happen to be also watching someone. She noticed Kai is just standing still instead of finding an available bench to sit.
Normally Kai would have sat somewhere already to relax after exercise...
Yet... 'What is Kai-niichan doing?' When Alice followed where Kai's attention is, her eyes landed on Mimori, Maura and Kazuki. However she wasn't sure which of who Kai is observing. Alice decided to appear at Kai's side to genuinely get his attention through teasing.
"Kai nii-chan you been dozing a lot lately. Could it be your brain is not braining anymore?"
It was effective. Kai looks down to where Alice is, she was at his right side. Frowning. "S-shut it. Leave me alone. I have a lot of things to think about."
As said, recently Kurobane Alice had been watching someone too and that is Ijuuin Kai. Of course she would look at Kai. Because Kai is so stiff and Alice happens to care about how will she ever get to Kai to drop his ego for a second and have fun.
Which is why Alice puts a bait. "You see~ Alice notice youve been always staring at Maurachi. Do you still feel butt hurt upon loosing against him? You are too strict at yourself. Its just Shadowverse you know~ you should relax a bit and have more fun like Alice-"
However Kai snaps.
"SHADOWVERSE IS NOT THAT SIMPLE!"
The First Reaper other students look at their way. Even Yonazuki Shiori's attention is taken to where Kai and Alice stands seems to be arguing.
Alice yells back. "Hey! Why are you yelling at me? Here am trying to comfort you. How mean!"
Kai noticed how their classmates are now watching them. He fix his glasses feeling apologetic yet stubborn. "I- Urgh. Never-mind. Talking to you makes me doubt about my existence...!"
Alice raised an eyebrow and is totally mad. "You know what? You are the least person Alice likes as a room mate anyway!"
Kai startled. "H-huh? Where did that came from?"
It is too late, Alice got ahead of her emotions. "Bcause you are so boring! Ackward! Too much data, data, data! Its soooo irrirating!"
Kai gone angry at that and fumes. "W-well you are not likeable either!"
Alice shocked. "What?" For the first time someone dared to go against her.
Kai points at Alice ignoring the fact people are watching. "You honed that perfect smile as a living Idol but I know for a fact those are also fake!" Comparing Alice to Maura but nobody knows of course.
While Shiori gasp at the background but she did not try to stop them.
Alice shook her head with unreadable face. "Eh...you actually...notice...?"
Kai getting ahead as well of his emotions acting like a kid at this point. "Hah! Did I hit the bullseye? I have observe almost everyone here and I make sure I memo it down! And you Kurobane Alice is a fake lovely idol!"
Alice looks away with sad expression as she mutters. "So Alice real self is extracted in your eyes huh?"
Kai gaining his composure upon seeing a hurt Alice, he mentally curses himself. 'Oh crap, did I went overboard?!'
Alice starts to look dark as she explains herself more calm yet full of emotions.
"You are right...Alice doesnt have to take things too seriously. Becuz Mama told Alice, I just have to be cute. I dont need to be myself. If Alice...even for just one slipp second allows her real self be exposed...Truly as my name, the Idol of End times, my idol career shall end."
Kai almost lost for word. "You..." Now he doesn't know what to say.
Alice kept talking. "Alice made that promise to Mama...No, Mama made Alice do that promise that once am inside this facility I have to keep acting as a perfect, cute idol that she always wanted for her daughter."
Kai is silent.
Alice thought this is over, she was about to turn her back when...
"You don't have to be Alice of Idol whenever you are inside our dorm room."
Kai spoke.
Alice turns back. "Eh?"
Kai with visible embarrassment as he forced the words out of his own mouth. "M-Maybe if you were just being yourself...Relax as you want me to relax as well. Then we should both allow ourselves to be as we are inside our dorms. After all nobody sees us there publicly except Hiro-san and the others."
Alice confused. "E-eh?"
Kai reveals a smile as he proposes an idea that benefits the two of them.
"I think that way...we can take a fresh air from our fake selves."
This is one of the first someone told Alice she can be herself.
Alice feeling touch by Kai's word, she returned to her cute smile as she whispers. "Kainiichan... I think I like you now."
Although Kai heard it loud and clear. "I wasn't trying to be 'liked' by you!"
Alice is back on being a tease. "Oh come oooon! Don't be embarrass. I know! If Alice grows a bit older, will you marry Alice?"
Kai thinks Alice is not taking his words seriously again. "I said be yourself inside the dorm not here! You are just making fun of me now!"
Alice insists. "But Alice wanna be true Alice right now in front of you Kainiichan! So what about it? Will you date Alice?" A mischievous smile is there. "Could it be you prefer simple ladies like Mimori neesan? Or you do prefer exotic beauty of Maurachi over there~?"
Kai gawks in sweat drops.
"Why on earth Maura Abelard is even an option?!"
Alice pokes Kai's cheeks. "Eeeh arent you checking out Maurachi lately? Don't deny it you tsundere boiii!"
Kai totally defeated.
"Who are you calling Tsundere?!"
The other First Reaper students got bored since a Shadowverse battle did not happen between the Genius of Geniuses and Idol of End Times. They scatter and only Shiori is left.
"I'm glad they made up." Shiori wish their dorm mates will always be in harmony.
While that argument is happening, this is what happens to the other side.
Back at the bench...
Maura rubbing his shoulders. For whatever reason Maura decided to target Kazuki.
Because Kazuki happens to be with him and Mimori.
"Shindo Kazuki."
Kazuki unaware of what goes through Maura's mind as there is always that certain polite smile.
"Sup?"
Maura commands him. "Massage me."
Kazuki raised a suspicious eyebrow. "Why me?"
Kazuki is not that type of person who will just say yes even though he looks easy to be fooled. He still have morals and self respect.
However Maura is a challenger when it comes to self respect of someone else. "Those strong hands of yours, I know we can put them on good use~"
Kazuki want to convince himself this is a trap. So he rejects it even though he was getting nervous how Maura decided to pick on him.
"J-just so you know I wont fall for that!"
Maura made a fake sad pout. "Aaaww...Sad."
Kazuki tries to convince Maura to drop it by offering someone. "Just ask Hiro. He is like your dog anyway ya know."
Maura furrowed his eyebrows. "That filthy dog, I don't want to be touched in private parts." The way Maura is disgusted on imagining Hiro touching him, Kazuki is now truly bothered.
"So you are telling me its ok if I do?!"
Maura pleads. "Come on, don't be mean. Or perhaps you like me begging? Ahh~ you sadist."
Kazuki terrified. "The sadist himself speaks!"
Maura made a pitiful look for himself. "Do you want me to kneel~?"
Kazuki points out. "You are already seating."
Maura suddenly smirks. "Do you want me to..." He purposely gaze down on Kazuki's pants.
That moment Kazuki hides his zipper even though it was not open. His survival instincts tells him to cover himself. "W-why are you looking at my legs! Stop it!"
Maura smiles wider.
Kazuki is pressured enough to give up.
"F-fine! Fine! I'll do it! Just dont you dare try whatever goes in that evil mind of yours you sadist!" While crying.
Maura is very much delighted to hear so.
"You really are kind~ thank you."
Does Shindo Kazuki has no choice but to massage Maura's back.

As the P.E. class ends...Everyone got dress back to their individual uniforms.
Except Maura, Maura in the first place never changed his off shoulder outfit into gym track suit unlike everyone else did.
Lucia who just got out of the dressing room, he walks to the school lobby since there is no other route. It was a simple walk and him thinking on getting back to classroom soon.
But then.
"Yonazuki Lucia!"
A soft spoken Maura calls from behind. Lucia thinks of nothing and acknowledges it by facing. "Yeah?"
Maura leaps to his front, too stunned to speak Lucia just froze on spot. As if slow motion Maura took his hand and placed a familiar white hanker chief.
It was his.
Maura told him so. "You drop this~"
Lucia blinks. "Thanks-" but Maura has not let go. "Why are you holding my hand?"
Maura grins. "You drop me as well."
Lucia already upset. "What?"
Maura did not say anything and went ahead of him.
"Hurry to the next class Prince of Shadowverse~!"
Lucia feels like he will have another chaotic day.
"What's with him?"
Lucia stared at the handkerchief in his palm. "How careless for me to drop it though..." He was glad Maura found it, since the handkerchief has a signature name on it tailored by Shiori his little sister.
'Wait...'
The area where Maura came from is one of the sensitive spot inside the ARC facility.
Lucia remembered even though they can roam around the school facility there are some called the facility sensitive core. That you are not suppose to hang out near the area to avoid scratching the defense system that is placed all over the ARC. Lucia remember to the school rules, if anyone accidentally broke one of the sensitive core spot in any area of the ARC may lead to a system breach.
'Even if Maura is mischievous, I doubt he would dare to mess with the core spot...'

Next Class, Cooking Class.
Location: Kitchen Room
The class is actually looking forward so much to cook.
The teacher is still assigned to Marcel Tabeoka. Since there are limited adults to supervise the children of future.
Like Fifth Sword classroom, they do not have a designated teacher. Yet that classroom seems to do fine. Some student thinks they don't really need a professor anymore. In fact they were envious of Fifth Sword having no homeroom teacher at all because there are two well good leaders over there like Kibakura Seiya and Raido Tatsumi. The two make sure their classroom is united.
Although it has been a week since Kibakura Seiya has not been seen. So far nobody reported about it, because they weren't sure if Seiya disappeared like Tenryu Light or does Seiya somehow exploring the secret places of ARC.
For now it was not something that bother anyone.
Ryugasaki Hiro remember he used to help his grandfather cook. And fortunately, Kazuki, Lucia, Maura, and president Itsuki are all known for being a good cook. Recently they found out Tsubasa can cook.
The only people who can barely cook is Mimori and Alice.
Amamiya Mimori is still down to earth, she is making sure nobody spots her having self emotional distress right now by just silently listening to the cook teacher.
"Alright! We will bake today! Everyone loves cake right?"

Sometimes the class are taken per section. However this time Marcel Tabeoka proposed to have all the section to participate since the kitchen room is huge. Therefore the 101 student fits just right inside.
Actually almost every room in ARC is just simply too large except the classroom sections and dorms.
As if this is really built to train the 100 students and just plus one Hiro for invading.
"Yay! Alice loves cake, I hope we get paired." As always Alice is bright but Mimori is the opposite. "Mimori-neechan?"
Distracted, "Eh? Ahh y-yes! I hope We do get paired Alice-chan..."
Alice thought so. "Ah you love crepes right? Actually Alice loves ice cream than cake." She insist to make a conversation to Mimori whose clearly not in the mood. "Wanna make crepes instead?"
Mimori nervously smiles. "I-If we get paired why not?"
Alice eyes sparkles with an idea. "Then leave it to Alice!" Does she raised her hand. Mimori unsure what trigger Alice to show off. "W-wait what are you doing Alice-chan?"
Alice started her cute voice. "Senseiii!"
Marcel Tabeoka acknowledges her. "What is it?"
Alice with her pleading shy face act. "Alice wants to be paired with Mimori-neechan! Alice can only make things with love! So I hope you understand-"
Before she can even finish, Marcel Tabeoka is touched by her words and went on fire. "LOVE! YES LOVE IS THE SECRET INGRIDIENT IN COOKING OR BAKING! APPROVE!"
Alice with happy sensation. "Yay! Alice is very happy!"
Mimori knew this moment she really had no charm to beg like that. "That was too fast..."
Most of the rescued list are thankfully fan of Alice, they where all talking about her. "Alice-chan really so cuteee!"
Alice decided to give a fanservice wink while posing in his cute iconic Idol pose.
"Hehehe! Let's all put love in our baking's everyone~!"
Everyone is hypnotized.
"Yes for you Alice-chan!"
Marcel Tabeoka clear his throat to bring back attention to his, he checks the listing for today's activity. "I will now announce the rest of pairing...Let's start with..."
The pairings were announced and the data is all transferred to their smartphones. The advantage of digital is they won't be having a hard time finding their designated partner because not only the name is written even the profile picture is included.
Ijuuin Kai going to Kazuki's side as he was looking so tired. "Ahh, am paired with Shindo Kazuki."
Kazuki already knew they will argue, he already huffs. "And you think I was happy we got paired? Come on, let's get this over."
Kai sighs. "I was not trying to say it in a bad way."
Kazuki unsure what is wrong with Kai recently always gloomy as hell. "H-huh? Then why did you say that?"
Kai proceeds to wrap himself with the apron. "Because you have a cooking background. Meaning...We will win swiftly at this baking class and that is good."
Kazuki feels complimented with small blush and humbleness "O-Oh you actually believe in my cooking skills? Ehm, J-just so ya know my specialty is cooking not baking."
Kai drops his respect real quick. "Then why am paired with a Kazuki?"
Kazuki in tears not to get angry again. "You switched emotions so fast!?"
Maura approaches Lucia, this time Lucia expected him. Maura speaks first with all knowing. "So were pair for baking~" Lucia did not react, rather the next words will surprise him. "I don't need assistance, please focus on your portion~"
Eyes widen a bit. Maura actually did not want to do a team work baking?
Lucia firmly nods. "Fine by me."
Delighted. "Alright~ let us get to work."
While Hiro...
"Eto...Am paired with..." Oh shit, it's Kibakura Takuma.
Already glaring at Hiro, the worst he can be paired off to. "Of all people why you."
However Hiro accepted him just fine. "Takuma! Its been a while!" In fact he is even excited. Takuma's mood already ruined. "Tsk."
Hiro feeling close. "I'm happy were paired up. Am worried about you lately!" Takuma puts a fierce look. "I do not need your pity Ryuugasaki Hiro-" No use. "Hiro is fine!" Hiro is being bubbly, creeps him out. Takuma crossed his arms taking the boss role.
"I will say this in advance, I can cook and bake. So do you have the capabilities as well?"
Hiro confidently says his shares of responsibility. "Yeah I can! I always make dinner for me and my grandpa! How about you? How did you learn?"
Hitting a bit of Takuma's soft spot, he did admit. "That...Aniki of mine maybe good at Shadowverse but he couldn't even feed himself..."
Although that made Takuma remember his big brother is missing. While Hiro genuinely curious of his skills in kitchen. "Then you can do special stuffs huh?"Takuma let out a grunt to dismiss Hiro and begins to grab some tools. "Just do not get in my way." Hiro ready to work puts an apron. "Roger!" Side by side, Hiro is looking at what Takuma is staring to.
A flour, eggs and other stuffs. "Tell me what were going to make though?"
Takuma hisses. "Cake of course dumbass!"
Then here is Alice and Mimori already in aprons. So far they have mix the eggs with flour including some milk.
Alice is lost. "Mimori-neechan, do you know how to make crepes?"
Mimori checking out the ingredients if it is enough so she won't be burdening Alice grades. "I can but...It is going to taste simple and not attractive as others..." That wasn't even the issue in her mind.
Alice frowns. "Mimori-neechan you are too focus on the appearance and quality. What matters is the love!" Scolding Mimori.
"Why Alice-chan you can cook and bake?"
"Nope."
Mimori sweat drops. "Eeehh...Then were screwed...Kazuki-kun and Hiro-kun is much of a kitchen person than I was..." Truthfully she wasn't even confident on her feminity. She knew all along she is a bit tomboyish. That is why she hangs out more with Hiro and Kazuki than the girls.
Mimori tries her best by grabbing some of the stuffs. Alice stared at Mimori and observing her.
Amamiya Mimori looks like she tries too hard.
Alice grabs Mimori's hand making her stop.
"Alice-chan?"
Smiling.
"Why don't we have some fun making rather than thinking how it will turn out?"
Mimori is glad Alice can read her insecurities. "Ah, that is a good idea. Thank you Alice-chan!"
Atleast the two girls have something to devote on to. "Let's do this!"
As everyone doing what they must do, Marcel Tabeoka is stuck with Yonazuki Shiori. "Ah not enough number? 101 students. Oh right...That Ryuugasaki Hiro boy is not supposed to be paired to anyone. That made one other student have no pairing."
Shiori fidgetting. "Yonazuki Shiori." She panics inside when she got called directly. "Y-yes chef?"
Shiori has always been shy and not good with human interaction due to the fact she always in her brother's Shadows.
Shiori has this massive struggle with anxiety and if that triggers it makes her very sick.
Therefore she avoids human socializing to keep her stress inside.
However she got left out, she lost a partner because 2 students are missing. One is Tenryu Light and Kibakura Seiya.
Marcel Tabeoka had no choice. "Hiro suppose to be solo but he got a paired up then that lead you with no pair. So pair with him."
When Shiori heard Hiro's name she perks interest but unsure if that is even a good idea. "But he already has Takuma-san...?"
Marcel Tabeoka already forcing Shiori to get her ass working. "Its fine. I think Takuma will prefer if he do it alone since his brother is absent."
Shiori puts her courage. "I understood."
Does Yonazuki Shiori goes to Hiro and Takuma's table.
"Hiro-san."
Hiro had molding something. "Oh hi there Shiori! Hm? You don't have a partner?"
BLINK!
Their phones notified an alert.
Takuma checks it quickly "What the data updated?" Reading the third name, he got unhappy. "Tsk this sickly girl is our team mate now."
Shiori nervous. "S-sorry!"
Hiro did not like that. "Oi Takuma! Don't say that to Shiori, a girl is a girl!"
Takuma huffs and threats with a smug. "Then partner up yourselves! I'm going to do my own!"
Hiro immediately falls to the trap. "Eeh! Thats not what I meant! Takuma!" Takuma turns his back while aggressively working. "Stop talking and get started!"
Shiori behind Hiro. "Hiro-san...Um...I'm sorry." Is the best she can do to sooth the situation. Hiro can sense Shiori is being hard on herself. "Come on Shiori, why would you apologize? Just ignore Takuma's words. He may look scary but he is just shy!"
Takuma blushes hard and angrily click his tongue. "Tsk." Which cam be heard by the two. Since Hiro is Shiori's 2nd comfort zone. "I-I would like to help now."
Hiro points at the table. "Eh? Ah sure, can you mix the eggs and flour for us?"
Shiori happy. "Yes! Very!"
Takuma annoyed. "If you can't do it, don't pretend!" Surprisingly Shiori stance her value. "T-that's not true! Me and Niisan used to play cook together when we were younger..." Takuma felt stupid. "Whatever."
Hiro offers to do another job. "I'll be slicing the breads!"
Shiori felt a bit relief that they can still work together. "Ah? S-sure. Thank you Hiro-san." She hopes this turns out good. "No problemo!"
As for Lucia and Maura...
Lucia busy mixing, someone pokes his back. He all knowing it was his partner no other than Maura Abelard.
"What now?"
Maura is holding his portion of work, and insisted.
"Taste it."
Lucia felt danger. "Why me?"
Maura pouts feeling offended as if it was a natural thing for him to be doing this with Lucia. "Its your obligation as my partner."
Lucia says jokes on that. "You just told me to work alone."
Maura is being spoiled. "Yeah, but I didn't say you don't need to taste my work~" Lucia sighs as he goes ahead to dip a finger and to taste it. It wasn't bad but it was not good either. More like the taste is delicate.
Noticing Maura is anticipating his reaction.
"Is it yummy?"
Lucia knew he has to tell Maura or he won't drop it. "Its good."
It brings Maura joy upon hearing Lucia accepts his work and then demands next. "Now I want to taste yours~"
Lucia shields his work. "Are you blind? I'm not done yet."
Maura giggles and has plan B. "Then I'll watch you make it." Lucia shake his head. "Just don't get in my way..."
So now he went back mixing. The problem is Maura is staring somewhere else and it feels creepy.
"Why are you staring at me instead of what I stir?" Maura looks like he is enjoying the view of Lucia in apron and working in the kitchen of them two. "I'm fascinated with how you make it creamy~" Lucia shake his head and grunts. He keeps mixing anyway.
Hiro hear some startle cute voice.
"Kyah!" Finding from not far from their kitchen table. "Hm? Is that Lucia and Maura?"
Maura is drench in white cream all over his face.
Maura whines with disgust. "Ahn! That's sticky! Why my face?"
Lucia grabs the towel to try and wipe it.
"I'm sorry-"
Surprisingly Maura flinches. "Don't touch me!"
Lucia stayed silent.
Hiro and Shiori stared at the scene.
"Maura..."
"Niisan..."
Maura with an upset tone of voice politely announce his exit. "I'll be fine. Thank you, please finish the rest."
Everyone assumed Maura probably will clean himself at the restroom.
Kazuki genuinely curious approaches Lucia.
"What happen?"
Lucia is not sure why Maura got that upset.
"I accidentally stirred too fast and it splashed at his face. That's all."
The Cooking/Baking class ended without Maura returning back.
This gives them question and the rest find it natural how teachers won't punish Maura either way if he is present or not.

The Next day...
Botanical Class and Maura appeared to class without any signs of yesterday's incident.
Lucia did not bother to approach Maura at all.
He remember Maura did not return to their dorm after that cream splash incident. 'It is an accident.' Lucia told himself while secretly eyeing Maura's table.
Mitsutagawa Mitsuki the plant lover is the one who dare to approach Maura. Because it is surprising to see someone else this fascinated to their plant except him and perhaps Hahajima Fuwari or known for MAMA.
"Maura why is that your plant?" Itsuki starts the conversation with pleasant curiosity.
Maura creeply giggles as he answers without questioning why would the Class President care about his plant. "I choose this plant because of how despairingly dramatic when a fly gets trap in its mouth it looses all hope to live. Hehehe...Cute."
Makabe Subaru who happen to be behind Maura and saw everything, he got chills. 'This guy is insane...!'
As of a light bulb appeared in Maura's head, all of sudden Maura grabs his plant pot and walk all the way to Lucia and Shiori's station.
As always this is a mixed class. And this plant class did not designate any groupings, meaning they can partner to whoever they like or can be also individually growing a plant.
Lucia raised his eyebrow as Maura presents hos flower power with the following request.
"Please touch my plant."
Lucia side eye to Shiori whose also confuse at Maura's action.
Lucia thought Maura was very upset from yesterday but this situation tells Maura forgot what happen...Or maybe its a trap?
"Why would I do that?"
Maura pushes the flower pot to Lucia's chest.
"I want you to touch it."
Lucia getting sweat drops, he kept his best with stoic face mode.
"...Why me?"
Maura evil grins and does that quick winking.
"I want to know how good your hands are. Thats' all~"
Shiori who did not get the joke intervenes.
"Niisan has good hands yes!"
Everyone whose obviously hearing everything between them laughs.
Yonazuki Lucia is embarrass. 'Dammit, it is a trap to humiliate me!'
Maura also laughs as he couldn't contain it anymore. "Pff ahahaha! Your lil sister knew how good your hands are~! How I envious!"
Shiori tilt her head and saw Hiro with Mimori also shrugs not following why people are laughing at Lucia by Shiori's statement.
Who knows whatever goes to the God of Curse user himself.

After the Botanical Class, they had another Shadowverse Simulation practice. Its not like Mimori failed her grades or anything, in fact it was stable as it is.
Not shining enough but not loosing enough.
The class basically ended and she can go have some fun but rather than doing her usual routine to stroll around with Alice, here she is...
Alone.
Mimori depress again. Because some other section just gossip about her once more.
(("My god she so average, why is she even playing Shadowverse? What more she is room mates with Lucia-kun and Alice-chan! What a waste!"))
Mimoro affected by it she went ahead and sulk herself behind the gym stadium facility where student rarely hang out.
Mimori knew nobody is around this spot and she wanted that.
'I don't want to be seen at all...I'm a disgrace...'
Mimori completely sulking at the ground like a yarn ball. She was about to cry with all her insecurities when she didn't really have to.
"Why am so Average...? Why am not special...?"
As Mimori express her grief a shadow figure hovers above her.
"Do you want to stop being an average?"
Quickly looking up, alerted. "Eh...A Shadow Knight...?"
The Shadow Knight took off her mask, Mimori gasps as it was a woman with unique beauty.
"My name is Ein. I have been watching you Amamiya Mimori."
Mimori completely dumb founded. "Eh? Y-you are watching me? What for? There is nothing special about me...If there is someone, it can be Alice-chan or the other girls..."
Ein smiles but the smile was not any of gentleness, there was a hint of hidden intention.
"No, your averageness is one of the aspect we are looking for."
However Mimori is too depress to even notice it.
"Eh?"
Ein drops the magical words that can convince Mimori.
"Do you want to be special...?"
Hypnotizing words, Mimori's pupils shakes as she repeats back Ein's words
"To be special...?"
Kibakura Takuma who happen to be also sulking behind the gym stadium premises because of his missing big brother Seiya, he saw the unmasked Shadow Knight talking to Mimori to such close range.
And that is strange.
'Is that a Shadow Knight? Why is that Shadow Knight approaching Amamiya for?' Takuma recalled visuals of Maura being a labrat. 'Could it be...!'
He had a bad feeling.
Mimori who wants to answer Ein she was about to admit. "I want to be spe-"
"Oi!"
Out of nowhere Kibakura Takuma is already by her side.
"Eh? Takuma-kun?"
Grabbing Mimori's wrist. "Come with me, we need to talk." Ein furrowed her eyebrows. "I'm still talking to her." Takuma brave enough to taunt a Shadow Knight. "Huuuh? I thought Shadow Knights are not allowed to have close relationship to the rescued list?"
Mimori confused why would Takuma had any business with her, she wasn't getting the fake act of something important. "Takuma-kun, what is it you want to talk about?"
Takuma aggravated and looks directly to Mimori's eyes hoping she gets the message. "I want to talk in private!"
Mimori made a face. "Ehhh...That is forceful."
Takuma does not care. "Its important! Hurry!"
Mimori looking back to Ein. "Umm..."
Ein knows she cannot push this matter further. "I guess we will talk some other time. Think about my offer very carefully." As she walks away.
Mimori not sure what was that about. "O-ok..."
Back to giving her attention towards Takuma. "So...Uhh..what is it?"
Takuma released her wrist and to Mimori's surprise he ask with a rather gentel and concerning voice. "...Are you alright?"
Mimori clueless. "Eh? Why, am in any danger just now?" Takuma grunts before he tried his best to warn Mimori less aggresive. "Look...Don't get close to any Shadow Knights. They are dangerous."
Mimori somehow felt special hpw a deliquent like Takuma would actually try to save her from whatever danger awaits if she was associated to that Shadow Knight earlier.
"Well..." Mimori thought of an awful joke. "I think its more dangerous to be with someone who stole my phone before." Takuma click his tongue. "Tsk...!" Totally ashamed of it. "Right...How could I forgot doing that? Me and my ass...!" Mimori smiles but she is still tired. "Takuma-kun, are we done?"
Kibakura Takuma can no longer contain it and then bows his head.
"I'm sorry!"
Shocking Mimori.
"W-w-what now?"
Takuma apologizes for being jerk. "I was really not doing well last year...So I thought snatching some phones will help me learn more in other's Shadowverse play."
Mimori blinks. "Eh? You took my phone so you can read my play...? But...I play very average you know. There is nothing to learn on my Shadowverse."
Takuma mentally replies. 'That exactly why a Shadow Knight approached you dammit. Because those average players...If they are enrolled to a sparta session, they will excel...Like a test subject if they can improve an average person into a skilled player!' But he cannot tell that to Mimori.
Even though it went wrong, Takuma still says it.
"Shut up Average Player!"
Mimori just not getting anything anymore.
"E-eehhh...?"
Takuma is down bowing and turns his back. "I already apologize! Just...Just becareful."
Mimori still needs answers. "For what...?"
Takuma knew by making this statement is dangerous but he has to tell atleast one person who seems an easy prey.
"This facility is not 100% safe, thats why."
The wind blows.
WHOOSH~
"Takuma-kun..."
Mimori feeling cared for by some violent guy kinda gives her slight importance for herself.
Even though brute. "I'm leaving, that's all I wanted to say. See you around and stay away from the Shadows...!" Takuma's words were genuine regards her safety.
"S-sure...?"
Thus Mimori is alone again.
"How strange...Takuma-kun took me here just to actually apologize for last year incident...?" Feeling a bit better. "Fuuu...That's kinda cute." Mimori decided to stop sulking as she starts to make her way back to the dorms. "I wonder though what does he mean for me to becareful to...?"
As the Average Player gaze up to the fake blue sky she now wonders Takuma's words. "This place is supposed to be a safe box for us...So why would he think...?"
From far away Shirogane Mikado smirks as he also saw and heard everything.

Night time approached, everyone is back on dorms.
Ein returned to the Shadow Knights quarters where surveillance camera is all over the room.
Suddenly...
[[ALERT! ALERT! ALERT!]]
The alarm went wild.
All of the Shadow Knights indeed alerted.
Marguerite Valois who happens to be at the main control room saw what was on the screen.
"This is...!"
Quickly Marguerite took over the command.
"Someone destroyed one of the ARC'S force field."
Ein whose close to where Marguerite stands.
"Huh?! How...That is impossible! Is anyone on the camera?"
Marguerite reviews the camera, there was nobody there. They saw one of the CORE just broke as if a invisible entity broke it.
"No...Unfortunately not."
Some Shadow Knights thinks differently. "Maybe it broke itself?"
Ein doubts that. "But why of all times...?"
Marguerite knew she needed to keep everyone safe thus she commence. "Quick, we must make sure everyone shuts themselves in the dorms. The dorm is the safest place of all the ARC'S security system."
All Shadow Knights whose available follows.
"Affirmative."

Everyone minding their own business, the virtual Blue Sky turn Red matching the color scheme of RED ALERT.
The microphones all over the ARC made sure to be heard.
["Everyone stay inside your dorms! This is not a drill! A security breach happened! Stay inside your dorms now...!"]
Makabe Subaru who already guessed what would have cause the security breach. "Eh? Crap! You mean an Empty Shadow made it in or is the gate destroyed?"
Mimori who happen to be by Subaru's side, they were actually having a conversation about Shadowverse. "Security breach for what?!"
Instantly Mimori and Subaru agreed to part ways so they can get to their dorms.
Thankfully Alice, Maura, Kai, Kazuki, Lucia, Shiori and Hiro is already inside the dorm. Alice whose at the door it opens with a frantic Mimori. "T-this is bad guys!" They do hear the announcement, but since none of them were outside during the start of alarm only Mimori might know what is going on.
"Mimori neechan what happen outside?" Mimori shuts the door and holds Alice shoulders. "We all need to stay inside the dorms now!"
Alice whining. "Eeeh! But Alice wanna know what happen!" Lucia whose taking this seriously. "A security breach...? For real?"
Mimori nods as she catches her breath. "I was with Makabe Subaru-kun when the holographic sky turn red. Then they said stay inside the dorms before its too late. Subaru-kun said it may perhaps be a Empty Shadow invading the ARC."
Kazuki whose scared of that. "Ya freakin serious?!"
Lucia noticed Maura just cross his arms and jusr smiling, he had to point out. "You seem calm."
Maura teases back. "You are calm as well~"
Shiori clutching to Lucia's arms.
"Niisan...I'm scared..."
Lucia had to smile to assure Shiori and her anxiety.
"It's alright Shiori, I will protect you."
BRIIIIINNZZZGGG!
A loud noise broke their ears.
Hiro and the rest covers their ears, Hiro yelling to hear his own voice. "W-what was that?! Owww its so noisy!"
Kai screams. "Its the alarm!"
Before everyone can react the whole ARC went Black out.
The ARC facility is unfledged with darkness.
One of the camera shows a light.
Eyes widen, The Secretary of ARC Marguerite speaks the forgotten name.
"Is that...Tenryuu Light?!"
