Chapter One: What happened to the Moon?!

Everything seemed to be a normal day in Angel Grove, California. The teenage group of friends, Tommy, Kimberly, Aisha, Billy, Rocky, and Adam, were all enjoying a picnic at Angel Grove park with Adam's younger sister, Amelia.

Even though Amelia is not a Power Ranger herself, she knew about her brother and their friends being Rangers. Because she knew, Zordon granted her a special communicator and teleport device so that she can be safe if their enemies ever try to kidnap her.

Currently, the group of friends were discussing about some important news that Adam and Amelia were told by their parents. "Wait, let me get this straight. Your parents have been offered a promotion in their company, but the promotion requires that they move to Japan?" Kimberly asked in shock. Both Park siblings nodded sadly, and Adam replied with a frown, "Yes, and to make the situation worse, they've decided to uproot our entire family and relocate all of us to Japan for the year to see if we like it."

The rest of the Ranger's shared looks of sadness, but before anyone could say anything more, all of their wrist communicators suddenly went off! Glancing around to make sure no one was watching, Tommy then brought up his communicator and said, "We read you Zordon,"

"Ranger's and Amelia, report to the Command Center immediately. Something very serious has just occurred." Zordon's deep voice sounded extremely concerned and worried, and it made all of the teenager's tense, wondering what could have happened. Quickly collecting their bags, the group headed over to a hidden grove of trees to teleport away from prying eyes.

Once they reached the Command Center, they all looked up at Zordon's serious expression as he simply said, "Observe the viewing globe." Turning to the globe, all of the Teen's eyes widened in absolute shock and horror, as they watched seventy percent of their moon implode! Turning wide eyes to Zordon, Amelia asked quietly, "What happened Zordon?"

"I am not exactly sure young Amelia. Alpha has been doing scans since the incident occurred, to find out what exactly happened. It seems that Rita and Zedd are as confused as the rest of us, and are quite shaken up since they are stationed on the moon. Whatever happened seems to have missed their location." The Ranger's all looked at each other with mixed emotions. On one hand, they were disappointed that the phenomenon missed their enemies, but they were also slightly relieved as well because that would have been a horrible way for Rita and Zedd to die.

"Ai, yai, yai!" Alpha exclaimed suddenly from where he had previously been quietly pressing buttons and analyzing data. Quickly the group of teens rushed over, "What is it Alpha?" Billy asked for the group. Looking up from the computer, Alpha shook his robotic head and said, "It's the strangest thing that I have ever seen! It seems that what caused the explosion, did not come from some outside source, like we originally thought, but from a tiny anti-matter implosion from here on Earth itself!"

Everyone's eyes widened in shock once again, and Kimberly asked what everyone was thinking, "But who would want to destroy the moon here on earth?" Everyone nodded in agreement to her question, but sadly no one had the answer. Soon, Zordon broke the small silence and asked, "Alpha, have you located where the anti-matter energy came from?"

Nodding his robotic head once again, the robot replied, "Yes, yes Zordon! It appears to have originated from a Country called Japan." Here, all of the teenagers gasped, making both Zordon and Alpha look at them in confusion. "What is wrong Rangers?" Zordon asked in concern.

Adam spoke up before any of the other's could, "Zordon, we haven't told you yet, because we just told the others, but Amelia and I are going to be moving to Japan in two weeks with our family." Amelia silently nodded to show that what her older brother was saying was true. Zordon studied both of them silently for a few moments, then nodding his big head, he replied, "I see. Well, then Adam and Amelia Park, I am tasking you two with the Mission to find out what caused the Moon to be destroyed."

Both siblings eyes widened and Adam blurted out hopefully, "So I don't have to give up my Ranger powers?" And Amelia added, "And I am not even a Ranger! How is that going to work?" Instead of replying to the siblings, Zordon said to Alpha, "Alpha, contact Ninjor and have him meet us here as soon as he can." Saluting, Alpha replied cheerily, "Yes sir!" And hurried to do as requested.

While Amelia continued to look confused, the other Ranger's, including Adam's, eyes widened in understanding. Soon Zordon began speaking again, "While I cannot let you take the Power Coin with you to Japan Adam, for safety reasons, you will still be protected by the Power through the power of Ninjetti. You already possess the spirit of the Frog. Once you pass the power of the black Power Coin back to me, Ninjor will help you to once again reconnect with your Ninjetti spirit."

Then turning to Amelia, Zordon said, "Amelia, in these past few months, after you swore to protect the secret of the Power, I have watched how you have bravely stood by your brother and friends sides and have loyally kept their secret even under extreme circumstances. Ninjor once told me that there is a seventh Ninjetti spirit and I believe that you are the right person to claim this spirit as your own."

All of the other Rangers, who also had Ninjetti spirits, grinned in happiness that their friend would be joining them as a fellow Ranger. Amelia, for her part, was staring up at Zordon with a look of complete awe and amazement that he believed she was ready to become a Ranger!

Alpha soon got in contact with the mysterious Ninjetti Master Ninjor, and said that Ninjor would be able to come tomorrow to help. Nodding in understanding, Zordon then dismissed the Rangers and told them to come back tomorrow morning.

When the Rangers arrived back at the Park, Tommy asked if the siblings wanted to hang out at the Youth Center for a little bit, but they both politely declined because they were needed at home to help with packing. As the two siblings walked, Adam noticed that his little sister seemed unusually quiet, "Is something wrong Lia?" Startled from her thoughts, Amelia glanced at her older brother with a frown and said, "I was just thinking, what if we do discover what, or who, caused the Moon to be destroyed, then what are we going to do?"

His sister's question made Adam frown in thought as well, and after a few moments he simply sighed and said, "If we do discover what happened, then we will seek Zordon's council. Until then, we will just continue to follow the rules of being a Power Ranger." Amelia quietly nodded in agreement, and with that, the siblings finished their walk home in silence.

A few of you may be confused why I am uploading another story when I have not finished my others? Well the answer is simple. I want to share my story creations with you all and enjoy seeing your reactions to them. Reader's your enthusiasm for my writing is what inspires me to continue ALL of my stories and I think all fellow writers will agree with me.

Anyway, enjoy this fun random story idea that popped into my head one day when my sister had me re-watch the Anime "Assassination Classroom" for nostalgia. (It was both of our favorite anime show when we were in Junior High. Mostly because the characters and story were extremely well done.)
