Chapter 6: Karma?

Immediately, Amelia clamped her hand over her mouth in embarrassment of her outburst. Kayano, who was standing near Amelia, turned to her in confusion and asked, "Amelia? Are you ok?" Waving Kayano off and reassuring her she was fine half heartedly, Amelia was meanwhile asking frantically in her head, 'Sasha, you better explain to me right now what you are talking about! What the heck do you mean by "Mate is nearby?"'

Amelia could practically feel Sasha roll her eyes at her as she huffed out, 'Mate is Mate, DUH! Or in human terms I guess it would be we found your Soulmate. Every Pai Zhua Member has a Mate. Sometimes it is extremely hard to find them. Once you find them, you are bonded for life to protect each other. There, does that explain it better for you? Now hurry up and find them!'

At that moment the bell for next period began ringing and everyone began making their way back to the lockers to change for the next class. Kayano and Nagisa, noticing that Amelia seemed to be standing still, completely lost in thought with furrowed brows, they called out to her, "Amelia come on! We have a quiz in the sixth period!" Snapping out of her thoughts, Amelia yelled, "Coming!" and ran to catch up with Sugino, Nagisa, and Kayano.

Ignoring her impatient Spirit, she heard her cousin complain, "Man I forgot that we had the quiz in sixth period!" Amelia couldn't help but chuckle at her cousin's misfortune. Nagisa seemed to agree with Sugino because he stated, "Right? They should just let us go home after gym…" Suddenly Nagisa stopped walking. Confused, the others stopped with him.

Seeing him gaze up towards the top of the steps leading back to the old campus, the rest of them followed his gaze to look at the top of the stairs, and stared in confusion as they saw a boy standing there. He was holding a juice carton and was wearing the school uniform, but instead of the gray blazer, he had on a plain black jacket. He had the reddest hair that anyone had ever seen, and his eyes were a mysterious golden, mercury color.

Immediately, Amelia's enhanced senses were suddenly overpowered by the most delicious scent she had ever smelled! It smelt of strawberries and coconut, with a hint of a woodsy scent like pine or cedar. Subtly putting her hands to her mouth to keep herself from moaning at the delicious smell, Amelia had to mentally block out Sasha's constant shouts of, 'It's HIM! It's HIM! It's HIM! Quick, make eye contact and open the bond!'

Eyes widening, Amelia mentally screamed back,'ARE YOU INSANE! I don't even KNOW this guy! Shouldn't I at least get to know him before bonding ourselves for life?' Sasha mentally pouted at her, but thankfully agreed, but gave a warning, 'The moment the two of you make eye contact, the bond will open. So if you want to wait, you have to avoid his eyes.' Rolling her own eyes, Amelia thought, great, what could go wrong?

Thankfully, this conversation with her Pai Zhua/Ninjetti Spirit only lasted about a minute and she was able to hear the new boy state casually, "Nagisa, sup? It's been a while…" Amelia had to physically keep herself from blushing as she heard the new boy's voice. Silently groaning to herself, she lamented under her breath, "I'm done for, aren't I?" Kayano unfortunately overheard her and gave her a quizzical look, while Sasha just gave a rumbling, purring, laugh in her head.

Nagisa just looked surprised to see the boy and questioned, "Karma, your back?" This time Kayano and Amelia both raised an eyebrow and shared quizzical looks, what kind of name is Karma? The boy, now apparently called Karma, looked up and over Nagisa's head and smiling he said, "Oh hey," Then walking, he came down the stairs and walked past their group.

Briefly brushing arms with Amelia as he passed, he seemed to still for a split second, and Amelia noticed that his mercury eyes seemed to widen marginally in shock as his pupils almost seemed to dilate slightly. But the next second he quickly shook his head, as if trying to ignore something, and carried on with the same easy going smile on his face.

Glancing around, Amelia noticed she seemed to be the only one who noticed his slight pause and that made her heartbeat quicken. 'So, he really is a Pai Zhua student then, if he was able to sense me like I did him,' she thought to herself. Karma continued as though nothing had happened as he stated, "That must be the notorious Korosensei! Wow, he really does look like an Octopus."

Once Karma stopped in front of Korosensei, Korosensei lifted a tentacle and asked, "Ah, Mr. Akabane correct? I understand your suspension ends today, welcome back. That said, tardiness is a no-no." Amelia's eyes widened in surprise at hearing that this guy had been suspended. Then cursing her catlike curiosity, she couldn't help herself and wondered what he had been suspended for?

Karma seemed to laugh and tilting his head he answered,"It's kind of tricky getting back into the swing of things. Oh and feel free to call me by my first name. Anyway I've heard some good things, Teach, nice to meet ya." With that said, Karma held his hand out for a handshake, looking a little too innocent in Amelia's opinion. Not suspecting anything, Korosensei replied to Karma, "The pleasures all mine, should be a fun and educational year!"

The moment that Korosensei's tentacle touched Karma's hand, BAM! It imploded, shocking the teacher. Next second, Karma threw his drink carton into the air as a distraction and proceeded to swing at the octopus with an anti-sensei knife he had hidden up his sleeve! Of course, Korosensei was able to dodge and jumped far away from Karma, beads of nervous sweat all over his face.

Turning from his failed swipe with the knife, Karma commented, "Ah, you are fast aren't you? And who'd have thought that these knives would actually work! I just cut one up and tacked them on." Looking at his hand in faux amazement, he continued saying, "Pretty elementary stuff chief. I'm surprised that's all it took to take you by surprise. But good jump, if you don't want to come off looking like a fraidy cat. What, are you scared of me?" The red haired boy taunted.

The rest of the class watched on in complete shock and Nagisa couldn't help but say under his breath, "He hurt him! He actually hurt him!" Overhearing him, Amelia put her arms behind her head and nudged the blue haired boy she asked, "So what? He's not the first. I have hurt Korosensei several times now, you know." Nagisa seemed to ignore her in favor of continuing to watch Karma, making Amelia pout a bit, but then she too turned her gaze back to the confrontation unfolding in front of them all.

"I heard that you were called Korosensei because your supposed to be unkillable," As Karma got closer to him, Korosensei took a nervous step backwards making the red-haired boy lean towards him in a taunting manner, "Oh come on, there's no way you could be this big of a pushover!" Those words seemed to really irritate their yellow tentacled teacher. As they all watched Korosensei's face go red, Kayano leaned towards Nagisa and asked curiously, "Hey Nagisa, what kind of person is this Karma guy?" Hearing her question, everyone in E class gathered towards Nagisa to hear his answer, including Amelia.

Startled at the sudden attention, Nagisa sweat dropped and said,"Uh, he and I were in the same class our first and second year. He was violent, so violent they finally suspended him and shipped him off to here. E class is where they send you when they don't know what else to do with you." Then looking back towards his old friend he continued saying, "Thing is, under the circumstances, he may end up a star student." Confused, Amelia asked, "What do you mean Nagisa?" Giving her a quick glance, before looking back towards Karma, who was now walking away from Korosensei flipping one of the rubber knives, Nagisa explained, "Weapons and blood are his passion. Trust me, if anyone can kill our teacher, it's Karma."

Silently gulping, Amelia watched the violent, and unfortunately handsome, red-head walk towards them to head to the classroom. In her mind she asked Sasha dryly, 'Is this really what you had in mind for a Mate?' Sasha was silent for a moment, almost as if she too was a little stunned at the apparent violent tendencies of their supposed significant other. Finally she hesitantly replied, 'Well… Hopefully once you're bonded, those tendencies will be put to use protecting you?'Amelia sweat dropped and stated mentally,'Why does that NOT sound reassuring in any sense?' She received no reply back, making her outwardly sigh.

Suddenly Karma was walking past her, again, to head towards the classroom. And once again, Amelia caught a whiff of that intoxicating scent that seemed to be coming only from him. Shaking her head hard, Amelia growled to herself about stupid hormones and destinies and proceeded to storm away towards the girls locker room.

Failing to notice, that a certain red-head had paused in his walking and was staring in the direction she had stormed off in. Curiosity glinted in his mercury eyes as he licked his lips at the delicious fading scent of chocolate, lavender and mint.

Once everyone had changed and were back in the classroom, Korosensei passed out their Social Studies test, then proceeded to turn and begin punching the wall with his tentacle. Unfortunately, it seemed that his tentacle was not hard enough to do any damage when he was in a distracted mood, and all the tentacle did was make a really annoying squishing sound every time it came into contact with the wall.

After a couple minutes of the obnoxious sound continuing, one of the boys, Mimura, if Amelia remembered correctly, bravely spoke up in a whisper, "Um, what's he doing?" Yada, the girl sitting beside him on his left, stated, "I don't know, I think he's punching the wall." Isogai, to Amelia's surprise, spoke up next and replied, "You know you're right. Karma's smack talk must have really touched a nerve."

Hearing his name again, Amelia couldn't help but to glance over towards the red head. Unfortunately since she was sitting in the back row of class, being the former new addition this year. Now that his suspension was up, Karma's desk was also added to the back row, conveniently next to hers, much to her dismay. Currently said red-head was simply lounging back in his chair, his test already finished, much to her surprise.

Her attention was brought to the front of the classroom again when Maehara leaned forward and asked, "But what's the point in punching a wall if his tentacles are too soft to do any damage?" There was a minute or two more of quietness in the classroom with the background sound of the squishy tentacle, when finally Okano had enough and extremely vexed, she shouted up at their teacher, "OK, THAT'S ENOUGH! Could you maybe stop that? We're trying to take a quiz here!"

Startled out of his thoughts, Korosensei turned to look at her and apologized,"Sorry! Yes, absolutely!" Amelia sighed at all the interruptions and looked back down at her quiz. Thankfully, she only had the last question left to do. As she wrote her answer down, she overheard Terasaka try to get Karma's attention. "Psst, you know what you're getting yourself into Karma? The Jellyfish is sincerely pissed off at you."

Yoshida, one of Terasaka's goonies in Amelia's opinion, then piped up, "You can't pay me enough to be in your shoes." Muramatsu spoke up next, "If I was you I'd stay at home with my head under a pillow." Amelia silently scoffed and was about to speak up, but Karma grinned and beat her to it by replying, "Course he's pissed, who wouldn't be if someone made an attempt on their life?" Then smirking he continued by stating, "Less the would-be assassin screwed up and pissed himself in the process."

Amelia felt herself snort in laughter, and then covered her mouth with her hand in embarrassment. Karma's eyes briefly flicked in her direction, and he seemed pleased to have made her laugh. Meanwhile, Terasaka angrily pounded his desk and shouted at the redhead, "I didn't piss myself! That attitude is going to get your ass kicked!"

Rolling her eyes, Amelia smirked and making a show of examining her nails, she added insult to injury by casually stating, "Says the guy who may not have pissed himself, but did get decked in the face by a girl." Karma laughed, while Terasaka angrily glared at her, but dared not to say anything to her, because he very well remembered her punch and bloodlust, and did not want the misfortune of experiencing it again.

Before anyone else could add more to the conversation, Korosensei called out to them, "Quiet please, no noise during a quiz!" Rolling his eyes, Maehara muttered loud enough for everyone to hear, "Tell that to your tentacles." Seeming to ignore Maehara, Korosensei continued lecturing, "Continue to talk and I will assume you are cheating." Putting on a smiling face, that Amelia noticed, did not reach his eyes, Karma stated in what sounded like an apologetic tone, "Sorry Korosensei, my bad. No worries though I have already finished. I'm just going to eat this gelato if that's ok."

Out of what seemed like nowhere, Karma suddenly produced a giant scoop of strawberry gelato on a cone! Amelia's eyes widened and she couldn't help but think, 'Where the heck was he hiding that for the last twenty minutes?!'

Korosensei was not having it though, "Not so fast! No eating in Class!" Then he paused and suddenly shrieked, "HEY! THATS THE GELATO I BROUGHT BACK FROM ITALY YESTERDAY!" Everyone, including Amelia groaned in annoyance that their teacher, who literally said no noise during a quiz, was breaking that rule himself.

Pulling the gelato away from his mouth, Karma made a closed eyed smile at their teacher and replied, "Uh? Sorry, my bad, I just saw it chilling in the faculty lounge." Shaking his tentacles in anger, Korosensei admonished, "This won't do young man! I flew through the coldest layer of the stratosphere to keep that delicious treat from melting!" At this Amelia shook her head in bemusement and muttered under her breath, "And how are you not dead a hundred times over from that simple act?"

Karma simply tilted his head at their teacher and asked, "Yeah? What are you going to do about it, hit me?" And then with a simple look directed at their teacher, he purposely gave the dessert another lick. Face literally turning red from anger, Korosensei answered, "Of course not! I'll simply have it back and finish what's left of it, thank you very much!"

As he spoke, Korosensei began making his way towards the back of the classroom. Suddenly the familiar sound of BAM! Filled the air, a tentacle or two once again imploded. The class that was once trying to ignore the scene to finish the quiz, now all whipped their heads to the back of the room to see that in his anger, Korosensei failed to see a scattering of pink BB's strewn about the floor!

"Anti-me BB's!" Korosensei exclaimed in shock, then proceeded to quickly dodge as Karma attempted to shoot at him! Chuckling, Karma stated surprised, "Wow, that's twice in one day teach!" Nervous sweat appeared on their Teacher's face as he lifted his damaged tentacle delicately from the floor.

Amelia felt herself tense at the sudden feeling of what she could only guess was Bloodlust seemed to tauntingly seep from the red haired boy. Getting up from his desk, still keeping his gun pointing right at Korosensei, he calmly stated to the Octopus, "I'm gonna keep pulling the same old tricks. Class will get interrupted or grades will slip. Let's be straight up though, if you want this to stop you can just kill me. Or anyone else in this class for that matter. You just gotta let go of us wanting to see you as our teacher. Give us a taste of your ugly side." As he spoke, Karma shoved the gelato he had been holding into their teacher's shirt and smeared it in before letting the remaining cone fall to the floor.

Then looking up into Korosensei's eyes, Karma bared his teeth and stated, "Or you can make peace with all this, accept that I'll be the one to kill you!" Amelia involuntarily shuddered at the tone of voice the red head was using. She wasn't sure whether it was from fear, or something else entirely. She, and the rest of her classmates watched as Karma pulled away from their Octopus teacher and began walking away. Tossing his quiz into the air he said in a once again casual voice, "Here's my quiz, easy peasy," Reaching the door of the classroom, Karma looked back to the Octopus and said, "Peace out for now Teach. What do you say we play again tomorrow? After all,"

Before exiting the classroom, Karma paused and took a glance back to look directly at Amelia! Sucking in a gasp, and remembering Sasha's warning, Amelia made sure to only look at the side of his face instead of directly into his mesmerizing mercury colored eyes. She watched as the corner of his mouth quirked up into a smirk, as he knew exactly what she was doing, and he finished saying mysteriously, "A flawless method of conciliating a Tiger is to allow oneself to be devoured." And then he was gone.

Amelia sat frozen in her seat, completely still and eyes as wide as saucers. Where most of her classmates, and even her teacher, assumed that the sadistic red heads' last, slightly odd, comment had been directed towards their teacher, she knew, deep in her soul, that he was aiming those words at her. 'Damn it Sasha! Does he seriously have to be our Mate?' Amelia mentally cursed towards her spiritual partner. Sasha, it seems, was also a little shaken by the… intense attitude of her Master's supposed SoulMate and wisely decided not to comment, much to Amelia's annoyance and frustration.

Seeing that Korosensei seemed to be slightly struggling with wiping off the smeared gelato, and being already done with her quiz as well. Amelia dug into her bag and pulled out her travel size Tide stain remover pen that she always carried in case of emergencies. Getting up, she walked over to her abnormally quiet teacher and holding out the pen she said, "Korosensei, here, this will help make sure that the stain is fully removed from your shirt."

Startled, Korosensei looked over at her and then seeing what she was holding out, he seemed to heave a sigh and replied, "Ah, thank you Amelia." Taking the Tide pen he began applying it while the rest of the Class resumed their quiz taking. Once done with the Pen, he handed it back to her and said, "Thank you again. But why haven't you returned to your seat?" Giving a small smile, Amelia held up her quiz and replied, "That jerk wasn't the only one to finish quickly."

Taking her quiz, Korosensei's face morphed into the one he usually used when someone gave a correct answer and replied, "Excellent work Amelia. If you want, you may go home early as well." Shaking her head, Amelia pointed over her shoulder and said, "I'd love to, but I have a certain slow cousin to wait for." A tick mark appeared on Sugino's head at his female cousin calling him slow. Not his fault that this subject was not his strong point!

Thirty minutes later, the bell to signal the end of the day finally rang and all those not finished with the quiz, reluctantly handed it in and then prepared to depart for the day. As people began to pack up to head down the Mountain, they all noticed Korosensei suddenly in much higher spirits and heading once again for the window instead of the Teacher's Lounge. Curious about his change in mood, Kurahashi asked, "Sir? What's got you so cheery all of a sudden?"

Pausing, Korosensei turned to look at her and replied, "Well one, I decided that I unfortunately have to go get another Gelato to replace the previous one. And two," Their teacher seemed to zip away for a moment and then suddenly reappeared once again all decked out in Power Ranger Fan gear! Turning a light shade of pink he exclaimed excitedly,"I'm going to go watch the Power Ranger's in action! Oh I'm so excited! I'm going to try and get their autographs!"

With that he zoomed away! Leaving most of the class to stare at where he last stood with sweat drops on their foreheads. They were startled back to reality when they all heard a big THUNK! and turned to see that Amelia had slammed her head into the desk table and was groaning and muttering about "Idiotic Octopus Teachers…"

Once Sugino, Kayano and Nagisa were able to pry Amelia from continuing to bang her head onto her desk, the four of them began making their way down the mountain. As they walked, Amelia pulled her phone out and sent a brief text message to the group chat that she shared with her brother.

Amelia: Hey Red and White, heads up. An annoying Octopus Teacher is heading your guy's way.

Tommy: Thanks for the head's up. But why is he heading our way? Is he Hostile?

Adam: I thought I told you we had to be on radio silence Lia!

Amelia: One, text messaging doesn't use any of the Grid Power, so we're fine Bro. And to answer your question Tommy, No. He is ANYTHING but hostile… Quite the opposite actually (insert sweatdrop emoji and smiling octopus emoji)

Rocky: Red here, good to hear from you Adam and Lia! And like Tommy said, thanks for giving us the head's up. (insert thumbs up emoji)

Billy: HEY! I have a bone to pick with you Purple! How come you didn't share earlier that you have a crazy Mach 20 tentacled teacher? This is unheard of in the Science industry!

Amelia:… Um, probably because I was being watched like a hawk by my new PE Teacher who just happens to be a former Special Forces Officer and now is a Government Agent for the Ministry of Defense here in Japan?

Amelia had to stifle a chuckle at the reactions all of her Ranger friends gave at her last message. Because she had lagged behind her group, and that the four of them were almost to the bottom of the mountain, she sent a quick message that they would all video chat later, so she could explain more for Billy's sake, then proceeded to put her phone away to hurry to catch up.

When she caught up with the other three, her cousin gave her a questioning look and asked, "Who were you texting so avidly back there?" Shrugging her shoulders, Amelia replied, "Just doing a brief catch up with a group of friends from back in Angel Grove." Giving a sheepish smile she added, "I was also trying to subtly find out if a Monster Attack was actually happening because I have no idea how Korosensei would have known."

Giving a curious look, Kayano asked, "Are monster attacks really that common where you're from?" Giving a small shrug, Amelia replied, "You all know the mega villains Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd right?" When the others nodded, having heard the names somewhere before, Amelia continued saying, "Well for some reason they seem to think it is their mission to solely attack just Angel Grove. I suspect it is because one they might be a little lazy, and two, they believe that the Power Rangers live there. So they think if they keep attacking there, then they will eventually win. Silly thought right?"

As she finished her explanation, the four had finally reached the end of the mountain path and had reached the Main Campus. They stopped in surprise though, to discover some of their classmates standing at the bottom and glaring towards someone that Sugino and Nagisa would never have imagined would stand even a couple feet near the E-Class Mountain Gate. Kayano, being only a couple weeks newer than Amelia, asked in curiosity, "Whose that?" Looking to where her cousin was now glaring as well, Amelia gave a groan and said with annoyance dripping from her voice, "That, my dear Kayano, is a big, fat, pain in the neck."

Ignoring the looks of confusion she received at that remark, Amelia stormed forwards through her other classmates who were now watching her with curiosity as well. Standing in front of her classmates with her hands on her hips, Amelia openly glared at Gakushuu Asano and literally growled, "What do you want Asano?"

Straightening his stance from the casual lean he had been doing against the entrance fence, Gakushuu smirked and stated, "You." That had Amelia's eyes widening with a slight blush and then her eyes narrowed in anger as she fought the blush away and glared daggers towards the impudent boy. While the rest of her class's jaws literally dropped to the floor in absolute shock. "Excuse you?" Amelia literally hissed in anger, both her and Sasha's hackles raised at the audacity of this boy.

His smirk remaining in place, Gakushuu simply shrugged off his uniform jacket and lifted the sleeve of his uniform shirt to reveal a small tattoo of a black, jagged claw mark on the inside of his forearm! Easily hidden by his uniform clothes. Seeing the mark, Sugino's eyes widened and he gasped out, "You have got to be freaking kidding me!" Asano's eyes briefly left Amelia's to study Sugino. "So you know this mark?" slight curiosity lacing the Student President's tone.

Sugino merely nodded mutely. Before he could say anything more, Amelia brought attention back to herself and sharply asked, "So what? I can show the same thing as well, but that doesn't justify why you are standing here and blocking me and my classmates' way. Why are you really here?" Gakushuu went to open his mouth to state his reason, but before he could, he suddenly ducked as a can of strawberry milk came whizzing towards his face from the treeline!

The E-Class students gasped in shock once again, as they whipped their heads to the treeline and watched their new classmate Karma casually stroll out into the open. He looked relaxed, with his hands in his pockets, but everyone could totally see by his eyes that he looked angered by something… or someone, as his eyes were completely zeroed in on the Student President.

"Well, well, not quite how I expected our reunion to turn out, right Asano?" Karma idly remarked as he continued walking towards Gakushuu and Amelia. Once close enough he seemed to stop next to Amelia. But the E-Class students, with the small amount of training they have received so far, could immediately tell that Karma had positioned his body to be between Asano and Amelia. Almost like he was protecting Amelia from the Student President?

Gakushuu's eyes narrowed in annoyance and he replied, "So I see that your suspension is finally up. Too bad they didn't just expel you when they had the chance." Amelia felt herself tensing slightly at the fierce animosity that seemed to seep between the two. She felt almost like there was a silent battle going on, which, if her hunch is correct about Karma, then there most likely was.

Karma then noticed Asano's forearm showing the black claw mark, and smiling cheerfully, he asked, "Oh! What's this? Are we showing off tattoos now? Awesome because funny enough I have the exact same one!" And rolling up the sleeve of his black jacket, Karma displayed on the forearm that was opposite of Asano's, another black claw mark! Sugino nearly fainted; his brain could barely keep up with these constant revelations. Amelia, on the other hand, could not help but face palm at this display of machismo happening before her, while her classmates were watching in complete and total confusion.

"Now that we have that out of the way… Why would the goody two-shoes Student Council President sully his good name by being seen with us lowly E-Class brats?" Karma asked nonchalantly, but the expression in his eyes was more challenging than calm.

Asano's eyes briefly glanced over Karma's shoulder towards Amelia, who by this point was barely paying attention as she was currently rubbing her face into her palm and grumbling about "machismo idiots." Locking his eyes back with Karma's challenging ones, Asano replied, "I think that a scatterbrain like you Akabane, can figure out my reason."

By this point, the entire E Class was watching this spectacle unfold and were all completely lost on what was going on. Even Korosensei, who had now returned from his brief stint to try and see the Power Rangers in action, had come down and hid behind his class to see what all the drama was about. Secretly writing the events down into his little black notebook of smut.

Seeing that Sugino seemed to be the only one who seemed to be aware of what was apparently going on, Nagisa turned to him and asked just loud enough for the others to hear, "Hey, uh, do you have any idea of what is going on right now? Why are the Student President and Karma obviously fighting over your cousin?" At that question, Sugino stiffened and frowning, he turned and grimly stated back to Nagisa, "I am not a hundred percent sure of what is happening, but even if I am correct, I am not allowed to share without the permission of the GrandMasters." Blinking at that, Nagisa then asked, "Ok… And who are these Masters?"

Giving a hollow chuckle, Sugino replied, "One is our Grandfather, I don't know who two of the others are, but they apparently are old friends of his. And the newest Grandmaster…" Here Sugino slowly pointed towards Amelia who everyone noticed was beginning to once again give off that scary bloodlust vibe as it almost looked like she was glowing with a slight purple aura, in other words, she looked pissed off. "The other Grandmaster just happens to be Amelia there and… She looks absolutely livid right now."

While Asano and Akabane were having their silent male challenging match, most likely between their Pai Zhua Spirits as well; Amelia and Sasha combined were both becoming more and more pissed off by the second. 'Teach the males a lesson!' Sasha nearly roared in fury in Amelia's mind, as even she was mad at their potential mate for acting this way. Sure it was sweet of him to be protective. But he should also know when his potential mate can fight her OWN battles!

Seeing Karma open his mouth to respond to Asano's insult, Amelia finally snapped. "ENOUGH!" she seemed to roar. And faster than anyone could blink she thrusted her school bag into her cousin's arms, rushed towards both redheads, and then in the next second, both boys had been judo flipped onto their backs and were groaning in pain from the force of it. E-Class gasped in amazement as they watched Amelia stand tall, proud, and infuriated over the two red headed males. Her eyes narrowed like a pissed off cat as she seemed to hiss at the two;

"Listen, and listen well. BOTH of you idiots have NO claim on me! I outrank BOTH of you combined and refuse to submit like a weak little cub to either one of you simply because you want to flex your macho muscles and rub insults in each other's faces. Well news flash, the world doesn't revolve around you! There are bigger things than being the bigshot in school Asano. And Akabane, you are just a grade-A jerk who needs to have his ego deflated." With that said, Amelia whirled around on her heel and began walking away while flipping her hair over her shoulder roughly and calling back to the two downed males, "I REFUSE to have a mate, boyfriend, whatever you idiots want to call it, who doesn't respect my abilities as a warrior. So leave me ALONE!"

As Amelia snatched her bag back from her flabbergasted cousin and stormed off around the corner to head out of the school grounds, the two redheads slowly got up from the ground. Still staring after where she had disappeared, "Wow…" Karma whistled lowly, suitably in complete awe of his potential mate. "For once, I actually agree with you Akabane" Asano commented, also in complete awe of the female Pai Zhua's power.

Suddenly realizing that they were actually agreeing on something, or rather on someone, the two redheads simply glared at each other and getting up off the ground, Asano dusted his pants off and stated, "It seems we are now in a new challenge to see who can tame her heart first Akabane. Think you are up for it?"

"Puhlease," Karma scoffed, "She and I have already been chosen by the Spirits themselves to be potential mates. Saban told me. So, the moment we make eye contact, it is game over for you wolf." Here he gave a smug smirk towards the Student Council President, who gritted his teeth at hearing this unfortunate information.

Then he suddenly smirked and began softly chuckling, causing Karma to raise an eyebrow, "What's so funny?" Asano merely looked at Karma and stated, "How long can she resist looking you in the eyes I wonder? Will it be enough time for me to find a way to mark her? For you know as well as I do, that the moment a male marks a female Pai Zhua, even if they have a predestined mate, they are forever bonded with whoever marked them."

Karma could feel his Tiger spirit, Saban, snarl in utter rage at the mere thought of the lousy Wolf spirit taking their mate from them. Letting his spirit's feelings manifest, Karma's mercury eyes narrowed and he literally sounded like he was snarling towards Asano as he got in an immediate defensive position, seeming to glow red and ready to attack if necessary. Feeling accomplished that he finally got under his rival's skin, Asano turned around and began walking away, waving his hand in farewell as he called out, "Till next time, Akabane, E-Class."

The rest of E-Class watched with concern as they saw Karma panting heavily to get his breathing and anger back under control. Deciding to take the attention off of him, so that he could have more time to get his agitated spirit under control, Sugino turned to the others and stated with his arms raised, "Look, what we just witnessed is something that is actually pretty personal. But, I believe tomorrow when Amelia begins her portion of PE class, we will learn more about what just occurred."

Rubbing his tentacles together, Korosensei replied, "I have to say even I am curious about what just occurred." Everyone, minus Sugino and Karma, turned to their Octopus Teacher in surprise and Kayano asked, "Even you don't know what that was Korosensei?" Shaking his head, their teacher stated, "In my years of travel before becoming who I am now, I heard rumors of a secret Martial Arts technique that harnesses the power and strength of animals. But I was never curious enough at the time to pursue the rumors to see if they were actually true or not. Seems like tomorrow we will finally know the truth." Then making a waving motion with his tentacles, he finished by saying, "That's enough of that though children! It is time for you all to be getting home now."

With that announcement, everyone finally continued on heading home. Now even more curious about their two newest classmates, Karma Akabane and Amelia Park.

I'm ALIVE! Yes dear Readers I am still around and kicking. Life has just been throwing me a LOT of curveballs in the last couple of years. BUT! Now that things have settled down somewhat, I am finally able to come back to my passion/hobby of writing Fan Fiction!
