"Are we able to get a location on the target?"

"Yes, sir! General Bertrand has a confirmation on the boys' location. He'll be engaging with them soon."

Within a dark room, a voice hums scarily, his voice echoing through the room as he taps the black metallic armrest of his chair. "According to Bertrand's report, the boys' powers have…evolved, correct?"

"Indeed, sir. Their combat capabilities have increased. The one known as Boomer was shown to be able to create shields of energy and it seems that he has a stronger durability against electricity. Abilities that he was not recorded to use before. For the one known as Butch, he can strengthen himself when his body is enveloped in a green aura. This seems to be connected to the shivers that his body gives off. For the one known as Brick, there are no new powers that have been manifested however he seems to have more control of his pyrokinetic abilities as it does not come out of his mouth anymore."

"Hmm…How about the girls?" The man said while looking at one of the displays, the scientist flipping through a few pages to go to one with a picture of the Powerpuff Girls.

"No changes to note, sir. They are strong but nothing that the two agents we sent is unable to beat."

"Good. We need to take action immediately. Send 03 and 04 on the offense and let them complete their mission. If the boys get any more problematic, we will need them to assist Bertrand, understand?"

"Yes, sir." The scientist immediately goes to work and types a message before scratching his head as something comes to his mind. "What should we do about Lily?"

"Eliminate her if she gets in the way. We have what we want from her. There are more talented minds like herself." The silhouette said with a hardened tone that echoed through the room.

"We can't have anyone getting in our way."

The scientist nodded, a sweat coming down his face as he sent a message to General Bertrand. "Yes, sir. I will let the General know."

It was the weekend in the city of Townsville. During this time, the Powerpuff girls are sitting around a table in deep thought as the previous fight that they had with the mysterious ninja is fresh on their minds.

"Who was she anyway? She was so strong." Bubbles said while taking a spoonful of yogurt.

"Yeah! She was like 'Whoosh' and we were flying through the air like 'krkrkrkrkr' and then she was like 'Boom!' And then-" Buttercup was silenced with a hand to her mouth before she removed Blossom's hand. "I know, Buttercup. She's fast…like a ninja. Is there anything else I might add?"

"She can teleport?" Buttercup shrugged which made Blossom raise a brow. Deep in thought, the redhead folded her arms and scratched her head before her eyes landed on the shuriken that Buttercup was playing with as she looked at the weapon. 'All we have is that. And that doesn't solve any problems.'

"Oh, come on, Bloss! No need to wreck your brain about it. We're gonna fight her again." Buttercup said before she went upstairs and came back. "They always come back."

Bubbles had a worried look on her face. "Not all of them. The Rowdyruff Boys have not been seen for a month."

Blossom shrugged as she decided to take out a book and read while Buttercup put her hands behind her head and leaned back on her chair. "Who knows? Probably, the lady got them."

Hearing her sister's words, Blossom's eyes widened as she slowly turned to her raven-haired sister. "You…might be right."

Bubbles picks up her Octi doll as she puts a bandage on her leg. "What makes you think that?"

"Think about it. They are gone and suddenly more monsters start to terrorize the city. Plus, after they're gone, this ninja lady just came out of nowhere and started attacking us. So many weird things happened since they were gone. Don't you think this is more than just a coincidence? It could also be Mojo's plan too."

Blossom hovered over the table with slightly bloodshot eyes, much to her sisters' concern as Bubbles brought her down to her seat. "Sis, I think you need some rest."

"Yeah. You have been on edge since the Rowdys left." Buttercup said before she took another scoop of her yogurt. Blossom let out a sigh as she crossed her arms. "Then what do you think happened to them?"

"They're on a hike," Buttercup answered.

"Sightseeing," Blossom said with an innocent expression.

Hearing the answers from her sisters, Blossom pinched the bridge and massaged her temples to prevent herself from groaning in frustration. "And we have no news of them destroying anything...which is weird because they like blowing up stuff."

"Yeah!" Bubbles nodded innocently. "I hope they're ok. Things haven't been the same."

"When did we start caring about those idiots?" The green puff levitated over her sisters with a raised brow. "Anyways, if anything. I think they must be bored out of their minds right now if I had to be honest."

"THAT WAS AWESOME!"

Butch hovered through the air, his body quivering intensely as he lets out a loud laugh. Brick looks up at his brother who is making circles in the air as he grumbles and folds his arms while Lily tends his wounds. "This is so unfair. I'm here being wrapped like a mummy but Butch gets to fly in the air like he did not get knocked out by a kajillion bolts!"

Letting out a chuckle, Lily pats him on the head while putting on the last bandage. "At least you're alive."

"I'm alive but look at me. I'm stuck! I mean, look at Boomer." He pointed at Boomer who was lifting his arms up and down, a smile on the blonde's face as his fingers were starting to move which made the woman smile. "Fair point. Did you know he had a resistance to lightning?"

"Well yeah! We all do! But what happened was weird. He didn't even flinch." Brick folded his arms which made him hiss in pain as Professor Lily tapped a cotton ball of alcohol to his cheek. "Where the heck are my new powers?"

"It is possible that it may be taking its time to nurture and grow. Your powers may need a certain condition to awaken them or it may be bonded with your emotions." Lily explained in a matter-of-factly tone, adjusting her glasses until she noticed the pure confusion plastered on Brick's face. "I don't know what you're talking about, lady but it sounds lame."

"Alright, in simple terms: it is not your time." The woman said with furrowed brows which Brick understands before frowning. "Well, I wish I had it now. This sucks!"

"Well, for now, focus on-"

An explosion shakes the area, the group turns around to see lightning flashing from the distance which makes the female professor click her teeth.

"They are onto us already! " Lily shouted before going to her steering wheel and starting up the aircraft. As the vehicle started driving off, the woman barely dodged a blast, looking up to see a bigger aircraft appear above her, much to her surprise until she heard laughter.

"Hope that you're ready to die, Ms. Platinum!" Carver yelled through the speakers with a smile on his face. Snickering, he looks at his navigator to observe Lily's location before speaking through his communicator. "Bertrand...do your thing."

Bolts of lightning rain down onto the water while Lily is trying to escape, the woman focuses on getting out of the place until she notices something from her peripheral vision when she is hit by a blast that destroyed one of her vehicle's wings. "Crap! This isn't good! I wish this ship had a weapon or something!"

"It won't matter! You're dead!" Carver cackled as he shot a rocket that hit the vehicle, causing an explosion.

"Ms. Lily!" Boomer said as he rushed to the aircraft. Suddenly, he is grabbed by the neck by General Bertrand before he is choke-slammed into the ground, creating a crater.

"Sleep, child." The armored man said as he applied more pressure onto Boomer, causing him to choke.

"Get. OFF!" Boomer unleashes a sonic wave that manages to push back Bertrand before the man retaliates by shooting a blast of electricity. The boy tries fighting off the electricity before he launches a blue ball of energy which does barely any damage to the armored general.

"Boy. You are of no chance against me." General Bertrand said before he rushed forward and grabbed Boomer by the neck again.

"Let. Me. Go!" Boomer shouted while shooting an eye laser which did nothing as the man who still held his grip on the child. "You see? No chance."

With glowing eyes, Boomer swings his fist as hard as he can, landing a punch that sends a shockwave that causes huge ripples in the water and destroys some of the boulders around them.

"Weak!" Bertrand shrugged off the punch, much to the young blonde's shock before he suffered a strike to the face. Still having his grip on the blonde, the general raises his fist which starts crackling with lightning as he is about to punch the boy. "Good riddance."

Suddenly, he was tackled into the stomach by Butch who let out a flurry of punches at his abdomen that send him into a wall. The General tried to grab Butch but failed when the boy dodges his hand before slamming him to the ground.

"There's more where that came from!" Butch grinned as he rushes towards the man but it was short-lived when the general grabbed his neck and electrocuted him. "You should stay quiet."

Bertrand cocks back his fist which is surging with electricity, about to attack but his arm was stopped, the man turns to the limb to see Brick holding onto his arm.

"You two have made a grave mistake." The man said as his suit unleashed a burst of electricity, electrocuting them before he charged two orbs of lightning.

Before he can attack, Boomer crashes into the man, the three holding off the man as he fights against the Rowdyruff trio. The armored general tried to fight off the trio but he was overwhelmed by the three boys who were able to push him back. 'Strange. These three boys are surprisingly in sync. They can fight unconsciously as a team without communication. Impressive.'

Meanwhile at the other section of the area, Lily is trying to escape as she barely dodges a barrage of missiles. "Oh my gosh! I'm alive somehow. How am I alive?"

"C'mon, Lily! Don't you want to talk things out?" Carver laughed as he continuously attacked the woman who did her best to evade. During their bout, one of the blasts hit her ship which made the aircraft descend, making her head hit the steering wheel.

Seeing the situation, Boomer flies towards her but Bertrand grabs him by the leg and then spins him around and flings him into his brothers.

"Get off me!" Butch pushed his brother off him before flying toward the General, letting out a flurry of punches which the armored man expertly evades.

"You are strong but-" Bertrand grabbed the green ruff's arm and twisted it behind his back. "-you lack technique."

"Let go of me!" Butch struggled against his enemy's hold who tightened his hold as he electrocuted him. "You see this. This is how you wield power, you amateur."

The electricity output increased as Butch started to groan in pain, his clothes beginning to burn.

"Get." Butch clenched his teeth, his body vibrating intensely as an aura oozed from his body. Veins begin to appear around his body as he fights against the general's grasp.

"Off." His eyes glowed a green light as the aura enveloped his body before he grabbed Bertrand's arm. Hearing creaking sounds, the general looks at his hand to see his gauntlet cracking before he starts charging a lightning sphere as he tightens his grip on the raven-haired boy. 'I need to take him out quickly.'

"Me!" Butch yelled at the top of his lungs as he swung his fist with all his strength. Within an instant, his punch collides with Bertrand's chest, the force of the strike bending the armor inwards and launching the man into several boulders.

"What the? How? The data stated that this suit of armor can withstand and counter all of their strengths and abilities." General Bertrand said before noticing a green comet coming towards him which he barely dodges, Butch came out of the wreckage with glowing eyes.

"You want tech-whatever! I'll show you!" Butch grinned as he rushed towards the man who clashed with him. The battle between the two continued, fist meeting fist and blast meeting blast as lightning burst through the arena. The two fought across the field, the two looking like two streaks of light colliding into each other.

'This should not be possible. What is happening?' General Bertrand thought as he shot a barrage of multiple electric balls that Butch bulldozes through until the child landed a kick to his face that pushes him back. 'This is getting out of hand.'

He quickly unleashes a veil of electricity to repel Butch before launching a blast that knocked back the green ruff who quickly recovered. Fending off against Butch, Bertrand notices Boomer and Brick coming towards him, letting out a sigh. "Foolish children. Come."

General Bertrand lifts his fists that surge with electricity and attacks the boys furiously, the battle continues until they hear a crash, looking to see Lily's aircraft in the water.

"No!" Boomer's eyes widened in shock as he dashed towards her but he was grabbed by General Bertrand. The blonde shoots an eye laser onto the man's face but his helmet blocks it, unaware that Boomer grabbing him by the arm and throwing him away. Before he could shoot a blast at Boomer, he is hit by a stream of flames from Brick and a punch from Butch.

"You are being annoyances." The man said as he trapped the two boys in a ball of electricity before he shot a blast at Boomer who managed to dodge the beam. He continues launching multiple lightning bullets that Boomer evades until one hits him in the stomach and sends him across the water.

Meanwhile, Lily is trying to get her aircraft to start up as she picks up all of her items and tries to look for an opportunity to escape. "Turn on, you dumb machine."

She heard the vehicle shaking after an explosion which made her terrified. "Sorry, I mean good machine. You're a good machine. So be a good machine and start up please."

"Lily! Come out to play!" Carver said as he looked around the place for her, the woman noticing his battleship above her. "You can't hide forever."

After a while of waiting, she sees the battleship going down and landing by a huge rock formation before Carver comes out of his ship. The blonde scientist looks around the place until he takes out a gun and shoots the rock that Lily is hiding behind which makes her clutch her heart and breathe heavily. 'Oh my gosh. I nearly died there.'

"Come on, Lily! I know where you are!" Carver said with a smirk on his face. He then shoots again, the bullet grazing Lily's arm, getting a stifled scream from her which makes him laugh. "C'mon, Lily. You're going to die at this rate. This mission is way too easy. Never would I have thought that you would have left your job. You left such a huge opportunity to change the world. Such a dumb bitch."

"Did you see the inhuman stuff that they were doing in those labs? I want to change the world but I have morals, Carver. I'm not going to do that disgusting shit. There are better ways to change this planet."

"Better ways. We have discovered ways to create life. Supernatural life without the use of reproductive organs. By getting those boys and the Powerpuff girls, we can use them to get closer to our goal." Carver said as he shot again, Lily ran away to another hiding place which failed when a bullet barely missed her head. "Professor Utonium was a man leagues beyond his time. A genius among geniuses."

Lily heard a few more shots, about to move until one pierced through her arm which made her scream in pain. The woman inspects her arm, seeing blood oozing out of the wound as she tries to treat it quickly.

"Good riddance." He said as he slowly pulled the trigger. Suddenly, he was hit by a blast of water until something hit him in the face which blinded him.

"What the fuck?" He looks around before noticing a school of fish and an orca swimming near him. He grits his teeth in anger and points his gun at them, about to shoot before a ball of ink gets sprayed into his face. "Fuck! What the hell?"

Lily takes the opportunity to smack the gun out of his hand and kick him in the balls, running away as the scientist falls to the ground in pain. "Fuck you, Lily! I'll kill you!"

Running away, the woman hears several voices in the distance as they ask Carver if he is ok, getting a shout of anger from the man. "Find Lily! Bring her to me!"

Meanwhile, the Rowdyruff are having their showdown against General Bertrand who unleashes a wave of electricity that pushes the boys back. After a while, the man notices Boomer being able to push through the blast as the electricity surges through his fist before he punches the general, sending him toward a boulder. Hearing the sounds of gunshots, the blonde child notices Lily running away from Carver's grunts, one of them able to secure a shot to her shoulder which made her fall to the ground.

'Oh no!' He thought before he lifted himself from the ground and rushed towards the woman. "I'll get you, Ms. Lily!"

Suddenly, a bolt of lightning crashes into him, sending him into the water before he notices the fish around him. Looking up at General Bertrand who is fighting against his two brothers, Boomer thought about the situation before he turned to the fishes. Getting out of the water, Boomer begins panting heavily until an idea comes to his head.

"Hey guys! Can you guys help that lady please?" Boomer asked the fishes and orcas as he dragged himself from the floor. The animals look at each other before they nod and swim towards Lily who is limping away from a grinning Carver.

"Stupid, stupid Lily." Carver shook his head, swinging his blade as he slowly approached the injured woman. "Do you know how much I was waiting for this?"

Dragging her feet across the floor, Lily barely avoided a gunshot before she hopped behind a rock, hearing several bullets colliding at the boulder she was taking refuge in. Trying to escape, she loses her balance on a rock, about to move when someone stomps on her hand, eliciting a scream from her mouth.

"Hello, Lily," Carver said with a smile as he brandished a knife from his pocket, his smile growing bigger when he put it in front of Lily's face. "Feeling a little peachy today?"

Frozen with fear, Lily tries her best to move away from the weapon which makes the mad scientist's smile grow wider as he traces the blade along her face.

Before she could say anything, he stabbed her thigh, making her cry in pain. "Ahhh! It hurts! Stop!"

"Hahahahahaha!" Carver let out a maniacal laugh as he drove the blade further into her side. "No! I will not!"

He pulls the knife out of her side, blood oozing from her side as he aims the blade at her face. "You know, I always hated you. I was so sick of your shit! You were so adored by our boss, a run-of-the-mill scientist while a genius like myself was called your equal. We're nothing alike! You're just a useless woman! But not anymore, you leaving our group made it easier for me to exact my rage on you."

Raising his dagger, the crazed scientist smiled as he swung down his blade. "Good riddance!"

Suddenly, he is hit by something that sends him into a boulder, knocking the wind out of him. Getting up, Carver looks up, seeing an octopus near Lily.

"An octopus? Why did it hit Carver?" Her eyes widened before she saw Boomer in the distance, the boy giving her a thumbs-up before flying back into the fray against General Bertrand.

Meanwhile, Bertrand was fighting Brick and Butch, the latter landing a punch to his abdomen that sends him back before Brick shot several fireballs. Creating a shield to block the flaming projectiles, the general dashes toward them and then grabs them by their necks.

"Let go…" Butch said as he kicked the man repeatedly but his attacks did nothing.

"Sleep, children." General Bertrand spoke before unleashing blasts of electricity onto Butch and Brick. "All children need a good sleep."

Suddenly, the general was hit by a tackle that sent him flying into several boulders, his brothers feeling relief as the electricity subsided. Getting up from the ground, Bertrand turned to see Boomer flying towards him.

"Foolish child." said the man as he lifted his hand and prepared a ball of lightning.

Seeing a lightning blast approaching him, Boomer quickly evades the beam before he swings his fist with all his might which the general managed to dodge. Infusing his fists with electricity, Bertrand goes for a punch that Boomer clashes with his fist, the two engaging in a fistfight until the general fires a blast that hits Boomer. Enduring the lightning blast, Boomer began to grit his teeth until his mouth started to glow, the blonde boy unleashing a sonic blast that absorbed the electricity.

"This attack again." The man said as he dispersed the attack before a fist struck him in the face, the man turning to see Butch and Brick.

Before they can attack him, Bertrand shoots a bolt of lightning that electrocutes the two boys, Boomer rushes to attack him which he dodges before grabbing the blonde's arm.

"Stand down and join your brothers." He spoke coldly before he unleashed a stream of electricity that hurt Boomer. "I must commend you for your bravery."

Slamming the boy on the ground, he stomps on Boomer's head as he increases the voltage on the three boys.

"It will all be over soon."

Feeling his entire body in pain, Boomer looks around to see his brothers being shocked to death, none of them having to energy to stand which makes him very worried.

'No...'

His heart starts to beat quickly as his breathing begins to become erratic. The pain coursing through his body begins to lessen as he feels an unknown sensation coursing around his arms.

'No!'

Gritting his teeth, Boomer's hands start to glow intensely as a crackling sound could be heard from them. This did not go unnoticed by General Bertrand who noticed the boy suddenly getting up, the man confused by this situation. 'What is this? Is his body getting used to the electricity? I must take him out before he fully develops an immunity.'

He fires a powerful blast of electricity that hits Boomer, creating an explosion that destroys part of the landscape. The general was about to continue to electrocute Butch and Brick before he hears the crackling sound again, turning to see Boomer who had little damage done to his body.

'What?' Bertrand's eyes widened when he saw the blonde. 'How on earth?'

Quickly recovering from his shock, he shoots a lightning sphere that hits Boomer, pushing the boy back. Struggling against it, Boomer plants his feet into the ground as he digs his hands into the ball.

"Move outta the way!" He shouted as he pushed the attack to the side.

Seeing this, Bertrand quickly fires another sphere but this time, Boomer rips the sphere in two and then rushes towards the man.

'This should not be possible.' General Bertrand said as he fired a blast that Boomer stopped, the collision creating an explosion of electricity.

'I know they can create lightning through static electricity or energy manipulation but to generate it naturally.'

He tried to unleash a surge of electricity that electrocuted Boomer but the blonde quickly endured the attack, his eyes glowed as electricity traveled through his body.

"What the? How is this possible?" General Bertrand spoke in disbelief but he continued his attack by going for a punch that Boomer caught before it unleashed a more powerful blast of lightning.

"Stand down."

His words fall on deaf ears when the electricity from his glove gets siphoned to the blonde boy. Brick and Butch could only watch as their brother's eyes surge with lightning before he fires an electric laser beam that sends Bertrand into several boulders.

"Should we help?" Butch said before Brick stopped him. "No. Let Boomer have his moment. It's like a scene out of an action movie!"

Butch cocks his head to the side in confusion as he asks a question. "What's a movie?"

This made Brick slams his hand into his face as he made a mental note. "I need to really get you guys some hobbies."

Meanwhile, Bertrand tries to hit Boomer only to be rewarded with failure when he receives a punch to the face that sends him flying across the water. Boomer continues his assault by relentlessly pummeling the armored man until one of his hands is grabbed.

"You are a danger to society and we cannot have you run free with powers like this. You need to be execu-"

He could not continue when he began to get electrocuted.

"Leave us alone!" Boomer said as he struck Bertrand in his stomach, a wave of electricity hitting the man until he fell to the ground, coughing and twitching in pain.

"W-what is happening? M-my armor should have p-protected me." He said in pure disbelief before he noticed the damaged area on the chest plate of his armor. "No...but how-"

His eyes then widen in realization before he turns to Butch. 'It was him.'

Before he could attack Butch, a fist coated in lightning is only mere inches, the man is unable to register what is happening as he could only see a blur.

Within an instant, Boomer's punch collides with his face, breaking the barrier covering his face. The general tried to create an electric shield but the blonde unconsciously absorbs his electricity before landing another strike. Watching the battle, r

"I can't watch this anymore! I gotta join!" Butch twitched uncontrollably before he rushed into battle, Brick following him.

Grabbing Boomer by the neck, General Bertrand prepares a fist only to be electrocuted again and then hit in the back by Butch and Brick.

"Don't count us out! I wanna fight too!"

"Let's go, Rowdyruffs!"

The trio attacks the general in sync, Boomer shocking the man before Butch tackles him to the ground. Before he can go for another strike, Brick unleashes a beam of flames that pushes him into a rock.

'I can't take these attacks for too long. I need to way out.' The general said as he tried to make some distance, unaware of Butch who rushes under and gives him an uppercut that destroyed parts of his armor, much to his shock as he turns to a glowing Butch.

"Going somewhere?" Brick said as he hovered over the man who was looking around for any form of escape.

'I need to get to Carver. These boys are a force to be reckoned with.' He thought, parts of his armor being dismantled by the boys as they attacked him relentlessly.

'We need to go back and regroup. Get better weapons to eliminate these boys because they are beyond reason.'

After a while, all that remains for Bertrand is a tight, black suit which makes him worried. Looking down, the man sees pieces of what used to be his powerful armor now in pieces within the ocean. Looking at the boys in front of him, the man starts to hyperventilate as fear takes over his conscience.

"No…" He mumbled, his voice breaking. "No…that armor should have beaten you. I should be winning! I should be-"

Butch immediately punches him in the face, the strike sends him into Carver's aircraft, causing a dent in it which catches the attention of the scientist who notices his unconscious partner.

"What? No! NO!" He shouted with his hands gripping his hair, ignoring the pain ringing through his head. "Ehy is this happening? Why is it that they have to side with fucking Lily?!"

Hearing a thud sound in front of him, Carver's eyes widen in fear when he notices three silhouettes walking towards him. The man retreats as the Rowdyruff's eyes start glowing which makes his heartbeat quicker.

"They are monsters…" said Carver quietly as he frantically searched his jacket.

"Those three are monsters! You are all monsters!"

Seeing the Rowdyruffs stand over him with glowing fists, Professor Carver starts breathing heavily before he finds something in his coat that makes him smile.

"And all monsters need to be terminated!"

A huge evil smile appears on Carver's face as he presses a button on his coat, a powerful radio wave that stuns the boys as they hold their ears and fall to the ground, surprising Lily.

"N-no…"

"Like it? It's a new invention." Carver laughed maniacally. "It's a weaponized radio wave that can hurt anyone with super-enhanced senses. It's like an EMP for you damn superpowered brats. Good thing I took this from that ninja couple since the dumbasses were too proud of their tradition!"

"Stop it, Carver! Don't you realize what you're doing? They're children!" Lily pleaded but the blonde professor cut her off.

"Shut up! I don't care. Anything and anyone associated with you will get the penalty! And the penalty is death!"

He starts to laugh as the Rowdyruff boys groan in pain, Butch pushing him off the ground but Carver increases the strength which made the raven-haired boy fall back onto the ground. As his smile grows bigger, Carver stomps on the raven-haired boy's head as he takes out a green knife. "I always wondered how effective an Antidote-X knife is in your skin."

As he was about to stab Butch, he suddenly hears a click which made him turn to see Lily pointing a gun at him. Seeing the woman, he scoffs as he raises a brow at her. "Do you even know how to aim that thing?"

"There's always a first for everything," Lily said with a shaky voice.

Carver puts his hand on his head and shakes his head with a smile, quickly throwing a knife that slashes Lily's arm and makes her drop the gun. "See that? You're out of your league here. Now sit there like a good bitch! I'll deal with you afterward."

Holding her bleeding arm, the woman's eyes widened in fear as the man aimed the knife at Butch's neck. "No... please stop..."

Lily quickly scrambles for the gun when she sees the man drawing blood until she aims the weapon at Carver. While the professor is laughing maniacally, he shoots a bullet which misses the man who laughs at her. "You see that? Pitiful."

"Stop!"

"Now die!" He yelled as he swung his knife at Butch.

"Stop! Leave. Them. ALONE!" Lily said, shooting the gun.

"Shut up, Lily-"

Everyone could hear the sound of a gunshot echoing through the area, a moment of silence occurs through the place. Dropping Brick, Carver looks down before he notices a huge hole in his chest which confuses him until he turns to Lily. Feeling an intense pain coursing through his stomach, Carver starts to cough blood before he holds his stomach, gritting his blood-soaked teeth as he limps towards Lily.

"You...bitch..." The man said as he coughed blood. "...damn you..."

After saying that, Carver falls on his knees as he glares at Lily who runs over to the Rowdyruff, the woman checking their injuries.

'Damn...her...damn her for being better than me...damn her for...living...' He thought until he collapsed to the ground as the light of life left his eyes and his body went immobile.

Seeing that the boys are ok, Lily lets out a huge sigh as her legs lose their strength which makes her fall to the ground. Panting heavily, she clutches her chest as she looks around, seeing the destruction and blood around her. She quickly crushes the sound device, getting rid of the source of the boys' pain.

'Calm down, Lily.' She thought as she tried to calm down her ragged breathing. 'Please calm down. You should be used to this.'

While she is controlling her breathing, Lily hears groaning which makes her turn to the boys who are getting up from the ground and clutching their heads. Recovering from the sonic attack, Butch is the first to get up as he tackles the lady into a hug. "Lady, you were so cool! He was like 'You are not gonna stop me!' and you were like 'Leave them alone!' and then you blasted the gun and he went 'Blehehhh!'"

Hearing the boy's childishly innocent description of her situation, Lily lets out a chuckle as she pushes herself from the ground, her legs shaking as Boomer holds her. "Be careful, Ms. Lily! Are you ok?"

"Are you alright, lady?" Brick said as he cracked his neck before his stomach began to grumble. "Man, I'm hungry!"

Looking at the bruised and injured faces despite their childish demeanor, Lily's smile falls as she starts to rub their faces with a rag, getting mixed reactions from the boys until Butch moves the rag from his face. "Hey! Come on! I can take care of myself!"

"Hahaha! She's babying you!" Brick laughed before his face was rubbed again, getting a groan from him and a laugh from his brothers.

'They're just children...why...' Lily thought with a worried look as she hugged the three boys who were confused by the gesture.

"Uhh...is this an attack?" Butch asked Brick who shrugged as he and Boomer looked at themselves. "Well, we're ok now. The last time we were grabbed like this, we shrunk. But I do feel a warm feeling though which is...weird. What is this, lady?"

A smile plasters across Lily's face as she squeezes Brick's cheek. "You're just happy."

The woman gets up and searches around the place, walking to Carver's body and picking up his remote control and keys.

"C'mon, boys! Let's get out of here and get some food!" Lily said as she started up the aircraft, gesturing the boys to her. "We are in total need of a vacation!"

"Yeah!" The boys said as they flew to her, all of them leaving the area as they went towards the horizon.

"Someone attacked your lab?!" The Powerpuff Girls shouted in unison.

The Professor nods in response with a grim look on his face while eating his breakfast. "It was strange. Everything in the lab was destroyed but the house is intact. It's like their target is the lab."

"That's weird! They didn't take the limited-edition Galaxy Puffs!" Bubbles said in surprise while eating said cereal, unaware of the stares her sisters were giving her before she took another bite and continued. "Their prioritiers are not in the right place."

"Priorities," Blossom corrected her.

"That one!" Bubbles said.

"Well...uh. Yes. That is the gist of it." The professor said as he put down his fork, his expression turned to a serious one as he looked at his daughters. "Did you girls encounter with anyone out of the ordinary?"

The girls recall the memories of their previous fights until they look at each other and nod. "I'm not sure if this counts but we fought a ninja lady that can teleport the other day."

"A ninja woman...who can teleport..." Professor Utonium taps his fingers on his chin before he leans back in his chair. "That is strange. I don't remember any person like that. The closest would be Sedusa but she's now hairless."

"Yeah...plus she can't teleport!" Buttercup exclaimed. "Apart from HIM, there is no one that can do that except for Mojo that one time and we destroyed his machine!"

"Hmm...I'll need to search into this." Professor Utonium hummed before he worriedly looked at the girls. "For now, be careful out there. We don't know what we're dealing with."

"Got it, Dad!" The girls exclaimed before the family continued with their breakfast.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the city, Shadow and Stealth are perching on a roof and watching the Powerpuff Girls' house until Stealth takes out her communication device to hear no response.

"This is odd." She said as she checked the device again which did not go unnoticed by Shadow. "What's wrong?"

"No response?"

"From General Bertrand's group? That's strange. He's usually very quick when it comes to these matters." Shadow said with a confused look on his face.

Staying quiet, the woman puts the device in her pocket while Shadow leans onto the wall. "You think he could be taken out?"

This caused his partner to glare at him as he raised his hands in protest. "I'm joking. I'm joking. Calm down."

"No! You may be right. Something is off. We may be called to assist him after this." Stealth thought before she prepared her gear and threw a pair of daggers at Shadow who caught them. "Get your gear together. It's time to move out tomorrow."

"Really? So soon?" Shadow raises a brow.

"We have all the information possible on the Powerpuff Girls. Our next step now is to execute our plan!" Stealth said as the two vanished into thin air.

As the two dashes throughout the city, the citizens of Townsville, including the Powerpuff girls are unaware of the beckoning danger that is coming to them soon.

*door opens*

Uhh...hey guys. Hmm. How should I start this?

1. Sorry for the HUGE hiatus. To be honest, I...I went through a huge writer's block for this story but no worries. I'm back with this story. Thank the MHA story I made because I really wanted to continue and finish this story.

2. I got nothing for number 2. Just that I apologize for all this. I didn't mean to take so long with this.

Things have been set in motion and our darkness duo is about to be on the move right now. The Rowdyruffs barely got through their situation by the skin of their teeth and Boomer has electric powers now.

I'm glad that I can continue this story. Well, I hope you guys will be ok and stay safe.
