Hello people! Told you I'd be back... and here I am! Let's just get into it.

P.S. don't forget to review!

It was the best sleep they've had in a long time.

It was the middle of the night, Ross was still lying beside Rachel, he unconsciously moved his hand off hers, their hands both empty now. Ross didn't wake up, but Rachel did, it was like something was missing, she didn't know what though, but something was off (of course she didn't know it was Ross' hand she was missing).

She slowly woke up, opened her eyes to see the most beautiful man ever... Ross. His still, calm, handsome, face. His hair was all chaotic, the gel had worn out and his hair was covering his forehead, but she always loved his hair, even as it changed throughout the years. When it was short and full of gel, when it was so long, it covered his face and now, the perfect amount of long and short. She loved just intertwining her fingers in the locks of his hair.

She slowly moved her hand from the bed to his hair, moving it away from his head, it was so incredibly soft, her fingers went through like as if it were a cloud. She moved his hair to the left and up, slowly so he wouldn't wake up, but she could keep her hands in his hair forever.

She was so busy with his hair, she hadn't even asked herself why he was in his bed, it kinda just felt natural for her to have Ross here, she didn't even question it.

"He probably didn't want to go home so late. But why my bed?" Rachal asked herself, but honestly, she didn't care. He was here, with her, for whatever reason, it didn't matter.

His eyelids were shut, but she could just imagine his light brown eyes staring at her... his soft eyes, that every time she looked at, couldn't help but be in awe for a bit. His eyes... they were so sweet and kind. The way he would look at her was a way that nobody else could ever do.

She kept staring at him, then she looked at the space between them, the gap was too big. She scooched herself closer to him, her chest now on the left side of his body. His right hand on his stomach and his left by his side. Rachel knew if he woke up now it could get awkward, but she had to be closer to him, she just had to be.

She scooched a little closer to him, her whole body touching the side of his.

"Hmmm..." was the noise that slowly came from the person beside Rachel. She froze.

"Please don't wake up, please don't wake up, please don't wake up" she thought, and he didn't.

He slightly moved his body closer to hers but was sound asleep. She calmed down, everything was fine, everything was more than fine. She readjusted her position, got comfortable.

She tucked her head in the small crook between his shoulder and his chest and very slowly put her hand on top of him, on his chest. He didn't move. She snuggled real close to him, feeling the warmth of his body through his shirt. It was the feeling of getting under the covers on a cold stormy night, something to protect her. In this moment, she couldn't feel any more safer, she was maxed out. Ross' body was covering her from any possible pain that could come her way, he was her safe place. She loved this right here, this moment. She could stay like this forever. She just loved it...

She loved him. She did. She couldn't deny it. Somewhere along the way, she fell for him again or maybe she never fell out of love. They'd been spending a lot of time together and after the thing with Joey, she went to him, he was who she wanted to spend her time with. Nobody but him. At some point she started noticing things about him, she started to see him differently, and now they were here, and she knew. She loved him.

She kissed his shoulder and intertwined his fingers with hers. Now they were locked together, nothing could get her away from him. She belonged to him.

Eventually she got tired from all the thinking she was doing... about Ross and fell asleep, still locked to his body.

It was around 7:30 AM when Ross woke up, he was always such an early bird. He opened his eyes, it took him a second to remember where he was and what had happened last night, but as soon as he did, he felt the extra weight on his body. He turned his head and saw Rachel's body up close to his, then he felt the soft fingers that belonged to Rachel in between his rough, dry fingers. He noticed that her hand fit perfectly in his, like they were made for each other.

"She must have positioned herself like this" he thought "no way we just naturally ended up like this."

He didn't care about how or why they ended up like this, they just did, and he loved the fact that they did.

He was about to do something that could wake her up, but he didn't care, he wanted her closer to him. He unlocked their fingers, reached around Rachel's body, all the way to her waist, held on tight and pulled her closer to him. She was basically lying on top of him now. He secured her by wrapping his arms around her perfect body.

This sudden movement woke her from her wonderful dream, but once she opened her eyes, she wasn't upset that it did, because she saw the eyes of the man she loved.

"Morning!" came out of Ross' mouth, in a kind of rusty voice. His goofy smile started to form on his face.

"Morning sweetie" said the angelic voice, lying on top of Ross and slowly a smile started to form on Rachel's face too.

"Are you comfortable?" asked Ross flirtatiously.

"I am... very" replied Rachel, moving her hands up to his face and wrapping them around his neck and intertwining them in his hair, slowly massaging his scalp.

"So am I" said Ross, when he started to move Rachel's hair out of her face and grabbed it, his thumb slowly caressing her cheeks.

They stared at each other, another sweet smile escaping.

Ross gradually moved Rachel's head closer to his, looking at her lips. She looked at his, then his eyes and all of a sudden, she closed her eyes when she felt Ross' lips on hers.

This kiss wasn't as rough and aggressive as the one in the kitchen last night. This one was steady and smooth. They had no rush, their time wasn't running out, because they both knew this was it. They were it.

However, they were getting impatient, Rachel's grip on Ross' hair was getting more and more aggressive. Ross' hands moved from her face to her hair, starting at the bottom and lifting her hair as his hands moved up. Their kisses started growing, them having to take a breath every couple seconds. Rachels foot started moving up and down his legs. Ross finally decided to grab her whole body and turn her completely around, now he was on top of her, but he wouldn't let his body weight crush her. He kept himself upright by placing his hands beside her, as he aggressively kissed her and Rachel lifting her head as so not to lose contact with his lips. She wrapped her legs around his waist and grabbed him by the front of his shirt, pulling him even closer to him. She didn't care about how much his body would weigh on her, she just wanted him. She wanted him then and she wanted him now.

It was only when things started to get heated that they realized, sweet Emma was still asleep right next to them. They couldn't do what they wanted, they wouldn't do that in front of Emma, they're not that type of people.

Rachel was the first to remember Emma.

"Ross..." Rachel said after breaking their kiss apart. She looked over at Emma's crib. This was when Ross understood why Rachel had interrupted them.

"Oh, Emma!"

"I know Ross. We can't do this now"

"Of course not, some other time"

Ross laid back flat on his side, since the moment had ended.

Rachel couldn't let him get away.

"Just because we can't do that, doesn't mean we can't still kiss and cuddle" she said as she started to lay flat on Ross' front side. Their moment might have ended, but it didn't mean that it was the end, it was just the beginning.

So that's that. Hope you enjoyed! More coming soon, this isn't the end. Anyway, please review, I'd really appreciate it. See you in the next one.
