Story Start!
The Hot Springs visit had been what everyone needed.
Everyone.
'Honestly, the fact the zombies track by sound is such a benefit to us. It makes everything so much easier to deal with.' Naruto could smell Shizuka was cooking in the RV kitchen... cooking what amounted to soup with the protein just being what little meat that could be obtained from wild birds in the area when they stopped.
It wasn't great, but it was enough to keep them all out of hunger.
"Survivors... oh... zombies..." Shizuka pouted when she saw people standing on the road in the distance, only for them to just be more zombies. She crossed her arms in frustration, because she wanted to see more survivors already.
Naruto sighed.
"We've been driving around for a week now, the chance of randomly finding survivors is... OH SHIT SURVIVORS!" Naruto brought the RV to a halt when he noticed that some of the 'zombies' were not acting like zombies. For starters, they flinched when the RV was driving towards them at a high speed. Naruto wouldn't mind just running down zombies, but what they came across was not just zombies.
It was young women around the same age as Rei and Saeko.
Half of the people in the RV collapsed forward when the RV came to a stop, but Kohta opened the door.
"Come on, get in!"
"Thank you!" The first girl thanked Kohta as she entered the vehicle, and the second girl bowed when she joined her. They slammed the door behind them as zombies rushed towards it.
'Those are all Girl's School uniforms... they must be survivor's from the nearby all girls school. There is one in this area.' Naruto glanced back just before he started to drive again. The back of the RV just got a bit more cramped with 2 more people. He didn't say anything about them, or the fact that they gave off a strange aura to him.
The girls looked at Kohta and Takashi with eyes of excitement, and their eyes even gave Maresato that same excitement. When they turned their eyes onto him, they seemed to reach the peak of excitement.
"Boys!"
"Boys?" Saeko asked, and she wasn't the only confused one.
"All girl's uniforms, you two are survivors from a nearby high school, right... are there other survivors there, do you want us to go drop you off there?" Naruto asked, since their uniforms were sparkling clean and white. They didn't look like they had been struggling to get by, and they had been walking silently among the zombies.
They knew the zombies reacted to sound, and not sight.
"Yes, please, our sisters at school will be very thankful that you saved us."
"Yes, please, don't just drop us off but allow us to make a fine meal for you, as thanks for saving us."
"I could go for a meal that isn't soup." Saya sighed in relief. Saeko nodded her head, since all they could really make was rice and soup at the moment. Kiriko and Rei looked at each other, before they nodded in agreement. There wasn't anyone who didn't agree with the idea of visiting the academy to drop them off.
Naruto glanced at Shizuka.
She was frowning.
"Huh?" Shizuka looked at him in confusion.
'She just wasn't paying attention... still, these girls have off vibes. It shouldn't hurt to stop by the academy and get a meal... but I don't like the way they looked at the boys.' Naruto changed directions, since he did know where the nearby schools were. He didn't have any evidence to prove anything, so he would just ignore the gut feeling he had for now.
The only people he imagined surviving were those who were willing to do horrible things, or have a good leader to protect them.
-At The All Girls School-
"Amazing... you still have power." Saya marveled when she walked into the school building, and she instantly felt relieved to have AC hit her face. The hallways were cooler than outside of the building, and the floors were so clean she almost wanted to take her shoes off to prevent the floor from getting dirty.
"Our power is sourced from the Solar Panels on the school, the EMP knocked out our cell phones, but we were able to fix the Solar Panels rather easily." A new girl stated, since there were plenty of girls walking the halls.
"Survivors!"
'Cute, they all have the same haircut.' Rei just thought as she noticed every girl sported the exact same haircut, and they all wore sparkling clean uniforms. A girl approached her with a uniform.
"Please, allow us to wash your clothes for you, and please wear this change of clothes. For the men, we don't have much in the way of clothes, but please take these kimonos. Use any room you wish to change... is that a wild animal?" A 4th girl asked when she noticed the fox sitting on Naruto's shoulder.
"Kurama is my partner, he isn't a wild animal." Naruto corrected.
A dozen girls came forward with school uniforms for the girls, and some of them came with male sized kimonos for the guys in the group. Naruto waved off the kimono, but he was nudged by Kiriko who didn't want him to be rude to the teenage girls. He sighed and took the kimono.
"So, how have you girls been surviving?" Kiriko asked the girls.
...
"Lets discuss details like that later... once you all freshen up. Oh, but... would one of you guys like to help us, we need to carry the boar our archery club hunted."
"I would be happy to help!" Takashi stepped up with a smile. He looked towards Naruto and nodded his head, sending a thumbs up to show that he was willing to handle it. Naruto raised an eyebrow, while Rei nodded her head in approval. One of the girls grabbed Takashi's arm and lead him towards where he would be helping... and Rei didn't smile when she saw that.
She blushed when her mother giggled.
"Please, young man, you seem knowledgable on firearms. We have a shooting club, and we would like some help teaching the girls how to shoot a firearm. Do you think you could help?"
"Asami can help... I mean... I can help, I was a police officer!" Asami stepped forward.
She was smiling wide.
"... Yes, having both of you help would be assuring." The woman gestured for both of them to follow her.
-Hours Later-
"You look quite handsome in that kimono." Saeko commented when she saw Naruto wearing a formal kimono, and Kurama walking by his side. She was wearing the bright white girl's uniform while her clothes were being washed for her. "Rei and her mother are... Naruto?" Saeko asked when she noticed he wasn't smiling like she knew him to do.
He wasn't frowning either, but he sure as hell was not smiling.
He smiled.
"You look very pretty in that uniform." Naruto complimented her. He noticed Shizuka was being fawned over by some girls for her breasts, which were so large that most of the buttons on her top needed to be unbuttoned to give her cleavage breathing room.
Naruto passed a rolled up piece of paper to Kurama.
Kurama ran off.
"Oh?"
"In the next city over there is a guy I know, I doubt he died. If he's alive, Kurama will find me with a return message-"
"You look quite handsome in that kimono, and your shoulders are very broad. You must be a very strong man there." A random school girl approached Naruto randomly and started to rub his shoulders. She spoke politely, and she was good with her hands. "With these arms of yours, do you think you could lift even me up?"
"Easily."
"He is a man, lifting a girl your size wouldn't be an issue for him." Saeko stated factually. "You must not have very much experience with men." Saeko continued.
"I thought all men were extinct because of the zombies, we all did! Now we know they aren't! I never knew just how big a man was, or even how small men could be like Kohta!"
"You mind not touching me too much. I'm going to go and see if Takashi needs help getting the boar..." Naruto paused when the air turned awkward for a brief moment. The girl was still smiling at him.
"Takashi doesn't need help, he actually took care of the boar all by himself. As a thank you, he's getting a massage for his stiff back right now. It would be rude to interrupt him now, don't you think?"
"I guess that would be rude..." Naruto relented on that, and he just glanced at Saeko. "Still... can you stop rubbing my shoulders... it's making my girlfriend here very uncomfortable." Naruto wrapped his arm around Saeko and pulled her in very close.
She turned slightly pink at the cheeks, but nodded her head, and the girl got the message and backed off of Naruto.
"I would never want to ruin a happy couple, if you two ever need... alone time... feel free to use the nurse's office to relieve yourselves. Dinner will be in a hour." The girl walked off with that message given.
...
"I think I'm paranoid, because these girls give off... a very wrong feeling." Saeko rubbed the bridge of her nose. She had been feeling it for awhile now, just the unnerving feeling of being surrounded by girls who wore the same clothes, wore the same style of makeup, and all had the same haircut. She couldn't help most of the girls apart from each other, and they were all being overly friendly with the men.
She could understand that last part, since men were a valuable resource and important to human survival and female protection.
"Wrong how?"
"I know you, and I know Takashi, Kohta, and Maresato-san... I know I'm a woman, but I'm also a warrior... I know all of this. If you needed sexual relief, I would be willing to provide it... but that is because you aren't a stranger to me... these girls seem... off when they interact with the boys... the girls are just fawning over Kohta and Takashi." Saeko had walked around and checked up on the others. She saw Maresato was getting a rather... decent treatement, but not as good as Kohta or Takashi were getting.
Naruto was brushing the girls who approached him off, so they weren't approaching him with the same passion they were the others.
"... Are they?"
"They are, you're experienced in love, so you don't fall for their tricks... but I think these girls want to seduce the boys into staying here with them, to protect them." Saeko gave her theory.
Naruto relaxed.
"Is that all... well it's up to them what they choose then. If they want to stay here, they can. I'm not sure that is the case though... but your idea makes sense." Naruto didn't have a theory of his own for why the girls made him feel off about them, but Saeko's idea made a lot of sense. If they were just trying to get the guys to feel appreciated so they would join them, then that would make a lot of sense.
"I put my faith in the men of our group to resist temptation... but one can only resist for so long." Saeko sighed. "This place is well maintained, and has power... it is nearby a forest with plenty of food... the temptations aren't just sex, but comfort." Saeko looked to Naruto.
She waited for him to respond.
"... If they want to stay, they can... honestly... I wouldn't blame them if they did. The RV isn't exactly comfort with the group of us... I wouldn't blame anyone who wants to stay here. I'm not going to though." Naruto glanced at Saeko.
She was smiling.
"Yes, I agree. As much as a comfort as this place is, I too would not wish to stay for long." Saeko didn't question him further.
They met up with Rei and her mother minutes later to check on what they were doing.
They were enjoying back massages.
They were too busy enjoying themselves, but nobody could blame them.
Saya was in the library with Alice, finding a kid's book for her.
Everyone was enjoying the break from the RV.
