Wow it's been a minute, lets change that! Hey guys it's TheAwesomeCoolJay and we are back with another chapter and two things will happening in this one! Going to be some twists and turns, and even some surprises. Enjoy ladies and gent!
Star vs. the Forces of Evil is owned by Daron Nefcy & Disney
In a pillar of fire, the trio of Marco, Tom, and Janna were transported to the outside of a large tower. This was the Bureaucracy of magic and they were going to get dirt on the Magic High Commission. But before they continued, Tom had a question.
"Marco why is Janna here?" Tom asked, not being very secretive about it.
"Well you see-"
"Why can't I be here Tom?" The girl pushing Marco to the side and confronting the half demon. "Will this girl get in your way?"
"It has nothing to do with you being a girl!" The half demon replied, putting his hands in defense. "Your just normal, what can you do for the team?"
"Okay team, what was your plan for getting in there?"
"We are going to bust through the doors and take out anyone who gets in our way."
"That was the plan, I thought we were going to do something more creative?" The little Latino asked.
"This is creative, lets go kick names and take butts!" Eddy popped out and said.
"Eddy that's not how that goes."
"Cool little plan, but instead of barging in like idiots how's about we sneak through the window and be sneaky."
"And how are we going to-"
Tom stopped when he, Marco, and Eddy turned to see Janna had open a window to the building. While Marco and Eddy were impressed, Tom stood there dumbfounded.
"How?"
"This ain't my first rodeo kid, I've snuck into way harder places." She tells him as she climbs through the window.
"She's right, I've made security and she was still able to get through mine." Marco said going through the window.
Giving up, Tom entered through the window and now that the three of them were inside they began to walk down the hall. The sound of cheering could be heard and the kids quickly ducked down and hid behind the pillars. Peeking from it, the kids saw what appeared to a security guard moose guy and instead of doing his job he was watching TV.
"Oh yeah time for the trial, prepare to fail monster lover!" Sean yelled at the TV, while grabbing and eating a handful of popcorn.
Ducking down behind the desk, the kids knew they weren't going use the elevator, it would alert the guard. No they would have to take the stairs. Walking to the door the gang had opened it and quickly went through it. It slammed and caused Sean to look at the door for a moment.
"Door must be on the fritz." He assumed going back to his TV.
TheAwesomeCoolJay: Great security.
One problem down, another to go, looking up the kids saw the huge flight of stairs. Janna sighed in disbelief, but chuckled at the sight as he began to levitate with fire coming out of his hands and feet.
"Race ya!" Tom told them, before flying off.
"How are w-"
Janna stopped when Marco scooped her off her feet, now in bridal carry mode, Marco looked at Janna before moving.
"Hold on tight."
"O-Okay whatever dude." She says hiding a blush and holding him tight.
To her surprise, Marco began hopping from stairs to stairs, he eventually passed Tom on the way.
"Say what?" The prince said, surprised at this feat, but quickly remembering the race. "You're still not winning!"
The trial
In courtroom of the Butterfly Kingdom, a good bit of Mewni citizens were there some against the evil queen and some unsure about Eclipsa. On the bench, the Magic High Commission was there and in the middle there was Queen Moon. Star was there on the side with her father watching the events.
"We agreed to the terms correct?" Eclipsa asked the Queen.
"Of course." Moon replied, reaching behind her. "You do realize that this just increases your chances of losing this trial?"
"Ha, you say that now."
The Queen revealed that she had the Box of Truth with her, surprising Star and the rest of Mewni. The magical cube came to life and immediately read the room and switched itself to the right mode. It also scanned everyone with a red light.
"Truth or Punishment, that game has been put to bed, it's time for a trial, nothing but TRUTH or your all dead!" The box told everyone.
"Truth or Punishment, who used the box for that?" The Queen curiously asked.
"Who knows, but let it be known that that person is extremely sorry." Star nervously replied.
"Right, let the trial begin."
"About time!" Rhombulus, happily said jumping on top of his seat. "Eclipsa did you betray your kingdom?"
"Trick question, I like that." The former queen chuckled. "I just loved a monster and tried to make others understand, but they didn't."
"So you betrayed the kingdom by leaving them?"
"When you say it like that yeah, but they didn't listen so they left with me no choice."
Part of the crowd didn't like that, jeers and insults were being said which made Star put her head down. She remembered the talk she had with Eclipsa, the older woman sounded so confidence going into trial, but how things were going left Star unsure.
"What about your rightful husband, King Shastacan!" Omitraxus began his question. "How do you feel knowing your precious Globgor devoured the poor Mewman!"
"Shocked but knowing my sweetheart he probably did it for a good reason."
"A good reason!"
That one left the crowd appalled even the ones who were uncertain about Eclipsa had to say something about. Star smacked her own forehead, while her dad leaned in close to her.
"Sweetie I don't think she's going to win." River whispered to her.
"Well I guess I have the final question to ask." The forger of all dimensional scissors spoke. "Do you regret any of your actions?"
"No." Eclipsa answered quickly and seriously. "Given the chance to go back, I do it all again."
Disapproval was being spoken among the crowd, Rhombulus was getting ready to crystalize Eclipsa again, but the former queen held up her hand.
"Don't I get a question?" Eclipsa asked asked.
The crowd and MHC gasped, could she actually do that?
"W-What you don't get a question, you just get back in your crystal!"
Rhombulus fired, but it was blocked by the cube. Not only did cube block it, it negated the effects, what powerful magic was this?
"No let her speak, or havoc I will reek!" The box threatened.
"Excellent, now tell what did you do to my daughter?"
The room went dead quiet, the mention of Eclipsa's daughter was surprising because most of Mewni didn't even know she had one. Moon didn't know she meant by that, but looking at the commission's nervous state, they obviously knew something. All of them except Eclipsa.
"We don't know." Omni answered.
"Ha, so you have chosen DEATH!"
The exits and windows were gone and replaced with spikes, in fact the ceilings and walls were covered in spikes and they were slowly closing in.
"Better tell the truth."
The Tower
Making it to top first was Tom, followed by Marco and Janna.
"Dang it you won!" The human boy upset about the race.
"Forget that, how did you do all that jumping?" Tom asked.
"Yeah, I thought all you had was the monster arm?" Janna joined Tom.
"I do, but since Eddy like part of my body he's been kind of sending more muscle to my body parts."
"He can't rely on me all the time." The monster arm appeared and explained.
TheAwesomeCoolJay: That's the explanation, he'll need it for next chapter
"Cool anyway we need to look for a secret that these bozos got." Tom told them.
"You mean like that."
Janna pointed towards a book that was marked top secret and only eyes of the commission in a glass case. Tom literally faceplanted at how easy that was.
"Aren't these guys meant to be protectors?"
Knocking off the glass and snatching it with Eddy, the kids looked at the book and were shocked at what they saw.
The Trial
Screams filled the room as spikes and walls were getting closer. The commission and tried their best to stop this, but to no avail, the walls continued to come.
"Eclipsa what have you done!" Moon screamed in terror.
"Nothing I just want to know what where's my daughter."
"You know if no one talks, you'll die too."
"Yes, I'm willing to go that far for my family!" She stated, ready to accept death.
"Oh forget that, we got rid of her!" Rhombulus shouted.
With that said everything returned back to normal and everyone in the court stared at the box, but it was the person next to the box that really got their attention.
"You know being the crystal guy I knew you crack first Rhombulus."
"Glossaryck!" Star said happy to see her mentor again.
And that's the end hope you guys enjoyed! Was that a tad bit different from the show? Good, cause next one is going to try to pull that off too.
As the truth of Eclipsa's daughter is revealed many other secrets are revealed as well. The commission also learns that their tower has been infiltrated! Hekapoo is dispatched to handle it, which Marco has to handle her. How does Star take all of this information?
