Virgil stretched out, mumbling to himself some. Nothing like enjoying a solid nap. Now that was over he could get back to his computer building videos. Where was his remote?

He slid from the bed to check if it fell. Virgil yelped, nearly having a stroke when he saw two large brown eyes staring at him from under the bed.

"What are you doing?!" He clutched his chest, heart racing.

"Shh," Miles begged, "Hiding."

Virgil took a few breaths trying to calm his heart. After getting that back in tune he could speak, "Have you been naughty?" A nod of affirmation, "Hiding isn't going to do much other than postpone."

"I know, but I don't want him mad at me," he whined.

He nodded, figuring who he was, "Maybe he has a right to be mad. It's what he does with that anger. Regardless, please don't hide under my bed unless there is real danger."

Miles whined as the man stood and walked away. He could hear a portal opening in the house. He hoped Miguel would have come home later.

"I know you're here," Miguel called, walking up the stairs, "I need to talk to you." His voice didn't betray any anger but that could be a ruse.

Mig looked at the ceilings as he walked, checking rooms and closets. He muttered in Spanish, looking about, "Come out here," he growled.

Miles tried to keep quiet as the giant walked into his surrogate parents' bedroom. He could see Miguel's huge feet in front of the bed.

"Go somewhere else, go anywhere else," the teen begged, his eyes closed.

A scream escaped his mouth when he was pulled out by his shirt.

2099 picked him up with ease, carrying him out of the room.

"Sorry, it was an accident, I swear! Please don't be mad!"

Mig shook his head. He sounded like Gabri, 'Don't be mad, I just did something dumb and dangerous.'

Miles whimpered as the giant said nothing as he carried him down the stairs, "I didn't mean for that to happen, I don't know."

"Uh huh," he sat, tossing Miles over his knee, "What if you had jumped through a portal immediately into the sky?" He yanked Miles' pants down and swatted him hard across the back of his pull up.

The teen grit his teeth, "I uh I-"

"You're happily swinging and my brother falls to his death and I never know?" He snapped his hand down hard, "Think about that!"

Miles yelped, pushing at Miguel's lap as he could feel the slaps pick up pace, "Sorry! I didn't know he was there!"

"Why were you at my house anyway?" He demanded, continuing the onslaught of slaps during his questioning, "And if you give me some BS about curiosity you're losing the pamper."

"Owww, owww!" Miles kicked and squirmed across his knee, "I had taken your photos, I just wanted to put them back! I'm sorry!"

2099 paused, thinking about the album and how he even got to it, "When?"

"I, I took it yesterday, when you were arguing," he whimpered.

Miguel rolled his eyes, picking up where he left off, allowing his large palm to fall hard against the mischievous teen's upturned backside.

"[I'm sorry, please, please. Ow!]" He sobbed in Spanish, now actively struggling as tears trailed his cheeks.

Virgil scratched his back, walking down the stairs now that his bathroom time was up, "Why are we handing out spankings this Sunday?"

"He broke into my house, stole something, and in his attempt to hide it my brother found his way to HQ," Miguel explained, still swatting Miles' wiggling bottom.

"Yea, that seems like an appropriate punishment," daddy agreed, "Was it an action you can forgive?"

Mig stopped, hand still raised in preparation for another blow, "Of course I forgive him, he's a dumb kid," He was almost hurt at that even being an actual question, "I don't even care about the album. Yeah, he shouldn't have taken it, but my concern is Gabri. Something could have happened to my little brother because he was dumb enough to go through a random portal, throwing all caution to the wind.

"Anything could have happened and I wouldn't know until it was too late. All because he," referring to Miles, "wanted to hide the fact that he wanted to see some pictures. And Gabri is old enough to know better, but Miles should still know better himself!"

Virgil nodded, agreeing with him, "OK, well let's still not be too harsh. Like you said, he's a kid whose brain is still developing. And thankfully, outside of sore bottoms, no one got hurt." He walked to the kitchen to give them privacy while he ate a snack.

Miguel watched him go and sighed, brushing Miles' hand away and bringing down five more hard spanks, "Do you understand now?"

"Yes, yes," he cried, grabbing his warm backside, "I'm so sorry!"

He sat the boy up, fixing his clothes for him and rubbing his back, "I'm not mad, not anymore. I was just really worried for Gabri. Even if we bicker sometimes, he's all I have left. And it's my job as a big brother to protect him."

Miles sobbed, hugging the giant, "Sorry, I shouldn't have taken the album, I shouldn't have tried to hide it, sorry about Gabri. I'm really sorry."

Mig slowly reciprocated his hug, patting his back and rocking him on his knees, "It's ok, I forgive you. It's not just Gabe, my dimension is really brutal. That's why I hate the idea of anyone there. God forbid one of you kids are there and gets killed."

Mig sighed, continuing to pat his back as Miles whimpered into him, "I'm not mad, I forgive you."

"Are you ok?" Gwen whispered to Miles.

Once he got back to HQ the teens figured it would be a better idea to visit Pavitr's dimension just for some fresh air.

"He has big hands," he grumbled, rubbing his throbbing backside

"Thats for sure, " Pav agreed, "Now you really are one of us," he teased at how Miguel had swatted each of them more than once.

"The first time he caught me good," Gwen started, "I had messed up on a mission and almost had a building collapse on me. Felt like he hit my butt with a hot iron." she winced in memory of how hard he smacked her.

"I was messing with sh-t in his office," Hobie snickered, a smirk on his face, "Rather, he caught me that time. Didn't even hurt."

"He was probably jumping up and down, holding his butt," Gwen scoffed at the rockstar as he put his finger to his lips, telling her to shush.

"You too?" Miles looked at Pav.

India smiled, shrugging, "I accidentally ate all the cookies. He gave me a hard smack and scolded me for being greedy. But in my defense, those were really good cookies!"

"Only one who hasn't got a smack is Margo, and that's probably cuz she's not physically here," Hobie remarked.
