"Think we can get Jess to take us again?" Pav mused, thinking back on that fun day at the park, "Wish I could bring Gayatri."

"I think that Mayday about gave the workers near strokes," Gwen snickered to herself.

"That place was pretty rad," Hobie nodded, "Why does she have all the fun stuff in her dimension?"

"Where is she anyway?" Ben asked Miguel.

"GG and Virgil are sick," the leader mumbled, clearly upset.

"Sick!? That means," Pav stood up triumphantly.

"How nice," Spider woman smiled at the get well basket, "I know where all the tea came from. Gonna have to thank those little monkeys."

"How are they doing? Can I see?" Miguel looked over Jessica's head towards the stairs.

"GG just settled down for a nap and I'm about to make daddy some of this," she took a ginger tea from the basket, "Can you do mommy a favor and watch the broth?"

He nodded, watching her go and glanced at the ingredients on the counter.

Virgil sobbed in bed, rolling on to his side.

"I know, baby," Jess dismissed her husband's antics, rubbing vaporub on his back.

After all the outings with the kids, and hanging out with their various friends for months, sickness had hit their home. Comedically it started with GG getting sick and giving it to his daddy.

"I want you to know, being with you was such a wonderful part of my life," he sobbed into his pillow.

"You're not dying, babe. You just have the flu."

"I am dying! I have some interdimensional sickness that's ravishing my body!"

"Stop talking like that, you're scaring our son. Drink your tea," she sat him up and held the cup to his lips.

"I'm sick of tea. Stop extending my pain. You're a strong woman, just let me go. I'm dead weight now."

She rolled her eyes at his dramatics, "Just drink. The kids got you some nice get well soon things."

He took several long gulps, allowing the warmth to soothe his sore throat.

Jess rubbed his shoulder, "You'll be ok soon, babe."

Miguel used his thoroughly washed talons to shred the chicken. He already chopped up the veggies.

"You are so helpful," Jess walked in, tasting the broth she had boiling, "Mm. Just a bit more salt."

"I can go get some medicine from my dimension," he suggested.

"I have medicine for both of them," she reassured him, "Don't worry too much about daddy. He's always dramatic when he gets sick."

He shuffled, unable to help his concern. Especially considering that the idea of interdimensional sickness wasn't out of the league of possibility.

"Maybe we should take him to the hospital, to make sure it's just the flu."

"If he starts to feel worse I'll take him," she agreed. GG had already been to the doctor to confirm he had a cold, so she was positive her husband merely got the flu.

Mig dumped veggies into the pot.

"Do you want to go to g-ma and pop's?" Spider-mom could see the worry in his face and figured maybe him being with her father-in-law would be a nice trip.

A head shake no.

"What about Peter?"

"I don't want to go," he sulked, leaning into her head.

She pat his arm, "Daddy is just fine. I don't want you worrying, ok?"

"But what if he's right?"

"He has the flu, if you keep worrying I'm taking you somewhere else for the night."

"Nooo," He hugged her tight, "I don't want to go, I want to stay here."

"You let me worry about daddy then," she tapped his nose.

"I want to help," Miguel sulked, "Let me help, please."

"Ok, why don't you check on GG. That would help me so much."

He nodded, hurrying to the infant's nursery to watch him intensely. The baby was asleep, sucking his hand. Jess clearly drugged him. Mig checked to make sure he was still dry and wasn't hot.

A kiss planted on GG's head let him know that he was warm, but it should come down. Mig leaned on the bars, rubbing the baby's back for a little while. He loved his cute curly haired brother so much.

After a few moments of watching Gunner sleep he started back to the kitchen, but stopped by Jess and Virgil's room. The door was just slightly ajar. Mig glanced to the stairs and back to the door. He just wanted to check Virgil for one moment.

The man was in bed half asleep. Clearly drugged off his rocker. Mig sat on the floor at the foot of his bed.

Jess sighed, observing her tall child fuss over her husband. Couldn't help himself.

"Is daddy asleep?" Jess walked past him, "I made soup. I need you to eat, baby."

He replied with something unintelligible. Probably more whining about being sick.

"Alright, you sleep, we'll try again later," she pulled Miguel out behind her, "Well, I guess it's me and you for dinner.

"Do you want some spaghetti?" Jess rubbed her chin, planning out dinner.

"I can make food," he leaned onto her head, looking over the stove.

"You did yesterday, today is my turn," she could hear someone unlocking her front door.

"Hey sis," Sharon made her way in, "We brought some things for my nephew and brother."

"You walk into my house without a phone call again and I'm pinning you to the wall like Micheal Myers," she warned.

"Hello to you too," she smiled, "I brought food," she waved a bag of KFC at her.

"Ok, I'll allow it," Jess smirked, "You brought food and Adam. Lucky us."
