Katsuki.

K-A-T-S-U-K-I.

K… is for Knowledgeable.

Izuku hums as he scribbles that sentence down in his notebook.

A… is for a-m-a-z-i-n-g.

Izuku smiles.

Yep. Definitely amazing.

Izuku sighs as he leans back on the chair he's sitting on, in the comfort of his bedroom.

Let's see… T… hm.

Tough!

Izuku squeals, delighted that he isn't failing his writing muse this lovely Monday evening.

Even though he's definitely going to fail that test he has for his middle school tomorrow morning.

——

When Tuesday morning rolls around, Izuku is honestly prepared to just fail the test the teacher has in mind for them.

Sure, he could have studied for it last night, but… well…

He sighs as his gaze drifts over to Katsuki, seated a couple desks away.

Izuku grips the fabric of his pants tightly.

Why do I love you so much, Katsuki?

——

"Why the long face, Deku?" Katsuki asks as they walk home together, the sun setting.

"Well, I did terribly on the test we had today."

Izuku sighs. "I mean… I know it was my own fault for not studying… but… well—"

Izuku stops in his tracks.

"Wait. Are… are you actually worried about me for a change?"

"I'm always worried about you, Deku." Katsuki rolls his eyes as he walks past Izuku. "I mean, /someone/ has to keep a Quirkless loser— uh, I mean. /Dreamer/ , like you in check."

Izuku is about to pout, until Katsuki says, "Listen. Don't stress about your grade too much. Stress more about the fact that you weren't even smart enough to try and cheat during the test."

"I don't cheat." Izuku mumbles. "I'm not that type of person."

Katsuki sighs.

"Dummy."

——-

Okay. Let's see… hm. S. S stands for… um… Strong.

U… stands for unique.

Another K…. Hm… Knucklehead.

Lastly…

I.

Izuku halts in his thoughts.

A sigh.

"Incredible." Izuku says outloud. "You're absolutely incredible, Katsuki."

"So much so," Izuku continues as he writes, "that… it leaves me breathless more often than not."

"I just wish," Izuku's gaze shifts to his bedroom window.

"I wish I could tell you that."
