I've exhausted all stories under Itazura na Kiss and I still crave for a pang of jealousy for Naoki! I'm gonna make sure this will be a tough ride for him. Haha!
Also, I will be using Keita here for a new character, I also changed his surname.
All chapters are inspired by Filipino songs. (Some of it are translated)

It's been three years since Naoki and Kotoko's wedding, and everything's pretty much the same…
They're still living together with the rest of the Iries,
Naoki in medical school,
Kotoko studying nursing,
Naoki still as cold with his treatment to Kotoko,
Kotoko still frustrated by her husband's treatment,
Naoki still not seeing Kotoko's worth,
And Kotoko still faithfully loving Naoki despite the bare minimums… but not until she met this one particular guy.
"Nurse Irie, I will be assigning you to Room 308, under patient Horii. Case is broken arm due to a minor car accident. This will not be a complicated case, you can start with this one. Schedule's night shift though, you can start tonight." said Kotoko's head nurse, as she's starting her first day of internship one Monday morning.
"Hai! No problem with this, I will do my very best!" Kotoko replied enthusiastically.
"Alright, here's the patient's profile and other necessary findings and medical information you need to know. Good luck." said the head nurse.
Kotoko then grabbed all files and went straight to Naoki's department to announce. She saw Naoki walking with his colleagues and followed him after.
"Surprise! I got my first patient!" as Kotoko jumped in front of Naoki and his friends… Naoki felt somewhat embarrassed with what she did as he saw his colleagues slyly smiling, she grabbed Kotoko's arm until they reached a vacated space.
"Ouch, Naoki! What are you doing?" Kotoko exclaimed, breaking away from his grip.
"Would you please stop messing around? You could've just called or messaged me about this. You keep embarrassing me in front of other people. And with your first patient… don't mess it up and try not to take away your patient's life." said Naoki before he walked away back to his colleagues.
"I always embarrass you, huh?" as Kotoko sighed to herself looking at Naoki as he walked away. "Nevermind that, I'll study his files properly an do my best this evening!"
As Kotoko's shift approached at 5pm, she walked in Room 308 and noticed that the patient is sleeping… she walked inside and placed the tray full of medicines on the side of the bed.
She then checked the client's condition if he's okay. Everything's going well until she tried to check the date on the IV fluid above the bed and hit the tray of medicines with her hips…
"Oh no! Head nurse will be mad at me for this! Baka, baka, baka!" she said to herself as she rushed to pick up the medicines on the floor… but then she felt something strange above her head, she looked up and saw the patient looking at her.
"WAHHH!" shouted Kotoko in surprise.
"I should be the shocked one in here… but hi, I'm Keita. Horri Keita."
