Here I am with a new traslated chapter!

We're fast approaching the end of this story, and again I'd like to thank you all for the great support you've given to this project.

I feel the need to apologize again for the horrendous translation of the first few chapters. I apologize to all of you who had a hard time because of the mistakes with the genders. Especially with the first 10 chapters, which is where there are more errors. I don't know if all those people who commented will ever get to these chapters, but I wanted to apologize anyway, since in the future there probably won't be more opportunities to do so.

I bow my head one last time to apologize, and now let's get to the chapter.

Enjoy!

CHAPTER 91: THE END OF AN ERA.

"Observe and rejoice before the most powerful entity in this world!" Sirzechs stretched out both arms as he laughed rather madly.

The dust finally began to give way as a strong blizzard swept across the battlefield, so everyone watched the mysterious figure with great anxiety.

Finally, crimson eyes and long dark hair made an appearance. His completely serious gaze was accompanied by an extremely powerful aura.

And in his arms was a slightly blushing Penemue who watched her beloved's new appearance with great fascination.

Issei's only visible eye glowed a strong crimson color as he watched the large enemy army at his feet.

The expression covered in surprise on the part of the Demons and Fallen Angels began to slowly change to one of shock and fear as they realized who it was.

"How-how can this be possible?" Thought Sirzechs aloud, who could not and would not believe what he was witnessing.

Issei turned his gaze back to his much-prized Fallen, noting that she too looked very shocked. This caused a slight smile to appear on his face as he cradled her even more in his arms, causing Penemue to look at him with even more intensity.

"You did a great job. Leave the rest to me." Issei whispered lovingly to her, then kissed her.

It wasn't very long like the usual ones, but she still pressed her hands on her lover's chest tightly as she felt really full.

Finally, Issei broke the kiss and gave her one last look. The Cadre took the hint right away, so it didn't take long for her to break away from his arms and begin to descend to where the others were.

"Is that Issei?" Wondered Azazel, who moments ago had managed to regain consciousness, though he could barely move.

"What happened to him?" The question was asked by Vali, who arrived alongside Tiamat and Tannin, who also looked quite surprised.

"That is the true form of a Reincarnated Dragon." They all looked at the newcomers, seeing that it was Ophis and Great Red.

"I see, his presence is incredible..." Tiamat thought aloud, not being able to hide her admiration at the amazing power her future husband was emitting.

"Who is she?" Michael asked a question that diverted everyone's attention momentarily, so they quickly realized that Great Red was carrying someone in his arms.

"It's Trihexa. We managed to remove the object that was driving her crazy, but we still don't know how she'll react when she wakes up. But that will be a case to be solved in a few days." Great Red made it clear that Trihexa wouldn't be waking up anytime soon, so he quickly fixed his gaze on Issei. "Now let's focus on what's about to happen."

The armies began to move away from the center as they watched Issei slowly descend, so the armies ended up separating completely.

As soon as Issei placed his feet on the ground he looked at his allies, and that look was message enough for everyone to start running backwards so as not to get hurt by Issei's power by accident.

Finally, the protagonist focused his gaze on the enemies again, and this time, his always relaxed and serious look turned into a frown.

"You all played with people's kindness."

Issei's words were followed by a blood-colored eclipse that slowly began to form, covering everything in sudden darkness.

"You all played with the lives of the innocent."

Issei began to walk to the front, causing the warriors to begin sweating considerably, several of them even found themselves trembling, and others took several steps backwards in clear terror.

"And as if that wasn't enough, you all wanted to play with the threads of fate."

Issei's footsteps began to slowly quicken, getting all the enemies to clutch their weapons even tighter.

"All for a simple selfish desire. And that's..."

Issei's frown deepened considerably as he began to run towards them.

"That's simply unforgivable."

"WHAT ARE YOU FEARED OF, IT'S JUST ONE!" Shouted Sirzechs at the top of his lungs, then waved his hand with great force to emphasize his next words. "KILL HIM!"

All the warriors began to scream as they gained confidence from out of nowhere itself, beginning to run towards certain death.

The raging screams deafened the battlefield. All you could do was watch as the thousands of Fallen and Demons were about to collide with Issei.

Finally, Issei broke through the enemy ranks and the reaction was instantaneous.

A large number of bodies flew everywhere as dust and tremors came to the area. Issei continued to advance through the enemies without a hitch, killing everyone in his way practically instantly.

"By the gods, this is incredible!" Exclaimed Loki who was flying over the area, observing with complete delight how the large amount of inert bodies kept flying out in all directions. "It's as if we were in the presence of the Herald of Death himself!"

Issei paused over the head of one of the many men who looked clearly dazed. He was quick to use it as an impetus to leap away, whereupon the man's upper body was soon crushed by the great force that had been used upon his body.

Issei landed on several enemies, delivering a really hard-hitting double kick. The next thing he did was to dodge and use his enemies' own weapons against them to kill them, demonstrating great skill in his every move.

Issei continued to advance, neutralizing each opponent that stood in his way with two simple movements, so he quickly began to feel as if he was an unstoppable target. That was ratified when a magical attack tried to hit his blind spot, but he surprised everyone immensely when he used one of the men nearby to cover his back, stopping the attack. Even so, Issei did not stop there, as he turned around in one swift movement, throwing the dying man onto his opponents, who were overwhelmed by the force with which he crashed into them, so that when they wanted to recover, it was already too late.

Everyone could only watch in sheer horror as Issei had created a small magic circle on one of his fingers.

"PRAAFFF!"

A gigantic explosion shook the back of Issei, who had quickly resumed his fight with the enemies in front of him. The protagonist blocked and used the katana of one of his enemies to block and kill another who had rushed to his other side, and then spread his wings and made a small jump to dodge the magic-covered blow that an enemy, who watched in astonishment as Issei was left floating above him.

Issei broke the arm of the man still holding the katana and then killed him with a quick slash. He then summoned his katana in one swift motion, aiming it at the man below him.

A great impact resounded everywhere as Issei's weapon pierced his enemy's skull with no trouble. That didn't end there, as Issei held onto his katana with both hands to deliver two strong side kicks that killed his targets practically instantly.

Issei unearthed the katana from the body, and what happened next was a complete massacre.

Issei demonstrated his enormous skill with the sword as he slashed through all the defenses of through a large blast, slicing through everyone in his way, so that the mutilated corpses multiplied at an enormous speed. All they could feel were those startling flashes and loud explosions that killed a large number of people at the same time, so it was impossible to try to keep up.

One of the many fearful Demons waved his sword to the front out of sheer inertia as he was overcome with fear as he saw the explosions approaching at an impressive rate. Great was his surprise when he felt his weapon hit something, and greater was his dismay when he noticed that it had hit Issei's face, but had not even scratched him.

Issei didn't hesitate and cut him in half in one swift motion, then turned around at a great speed to deflect a large number of magical attacks with his katana. His frenzy did not end there, as he approached at a great speed towards the summoners to kill each one, until he surprisingly stopped when he grabbed the person who was leading that small group by the neck.

Issei was silent as he lifted a certain redhead a little so that her feet didn't touch the ground.

"Issei, I didn't mean to..." Rias tried to speak, but the word tried was key as she could only vomit a little blood at the sheer force being exerted on her neck.

"Don't worry, I don't hold any grudges against you." Issei clarified, causing a hope to rise in the Demoness.

"Issei...!" Before she could continue speaking, the brown's one visible eye glowed emotionlessly.

"Goodbye."

It was a single word...

But that one word no doubt filled Rias with dread.

Though that fear didn't last but a second, as the horrifying sound of a broken neck echoed throughout the place.

Rias' hands instantly lost their strength under the unperturbed gaze of Issei, who was only silently observing what he had just done.

His small moment of reflection was interrupted when a large magical explosion shook the entire area, killing everyone near Issei. The brown himself was thrown off at a great speed by the sudden attack, though he didn't take long to recompose himself in midair and then landed without difficulty, creating a slight line of destruction as his feet dragged on the ground for several seconds, until he finally returned to the starting point.

Issei slowly pulled himself together as he watched the enemies expressionlessly.

"We attacked all together, and he didn't even get a scratch..." Sirzechs thought through gritted teeth as he watched Issei dust off his battered pants. "But that's not the most important thing..." Sirzechs looked in all directions, making it clear that he was looking for something or someone.

In fact, it was a doubt that everyone shared along with him.

"Where the hell is the Trihexa?! Why isn't it reacting to the device?!"

Issei stopped dusting himself off, then raised a finger to the front.

A small sphere appeared on his finger, and that was more than enough for everyone to be alarmed beyond belief.

"FAST, FORM DEFENSES!" Shemhazai shouted without hesitation, it being impossible for her to hide the fear in her tone of voice.

"DRAGON SHOT."

The tiny sphere transformed into a gigantic mass of magical energy that was ready to obliterate absolutely everything in its way.

A long, thick line of barriers appeared as all the Demons and Fallen made their best efforts to stop the attack.

The Dragon Shot soon collided with the thousands of barriers, generating a great shockwave that shook everything around it. The great force of the attack was not long in coming, as the barriers began to give way at a great speed, to the point of having shattered the vast majority of them.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

The agonized screams of various Fallen and Demons could be heard above the great commotion the attack was causing. But that was the only thing that could be distinguished from them, as the strong crimson glow allowed absolutely nothing to be seen.

"This is ridiculous!" Shouted Sirzechs as he took cover as best he could.

Finally, the crimson light shrank for a short second, only to form a gigantic explosion that sent hundreds of debris far away. The deafening sound slowly subsided, causing everyone from the other end to remove their hands from their ears to watch in quite awe as Issei lay in front of a large cloud of dust.

One of the few surviving Demons was slowly rising through the dust as he played nonstop. His terrified and confused expression was not long in coming as he looked in all directions, realizing immediately that there was no way to see anything with a dust cloud as thick as this one.

Although that was the least of his worries...

The man looked straight ahead after hearing a strange sound. His eyes widened slightly as a dark glint flashed across his body.

He didn't even have time to react as his body split in two from one second to the next.

Disturbances and distress began to be felt within all the dust as a large amount of dark blasts collided in all directions, courtesy of Issei and his katana.

"I get it!" Sirzechs clenched his fists tightly. "It was the Prophecy! We were tricked right under our own noses!" The anger and helplessness was not long in coming, the agonizing screams only heightened those feelings further.

"There is no other choice! We have to escape...!" Tamiel exclaimed with a clear expression of terror on his face, but he couldn't even take more than two steps when he was cut in half.

"Tamiel!" Shouted Baraqiel in horror, and it didn't take a second for him to end up the same way.

All the Cadres were dropping like flies, even Shemhazai herself who had tried to escape with her wings.

"But how did he...?! How did he plan all this?!" Sirzechs grabbed his hair in great frustration knowing that his defeat was more than imminent.

"Perhaps that's the only thing we agree on."

Sirzechs' eyes widened noticeably after hearing that voice, but by the time he wanted to turn away it was too late.

The Demon King suddenly spat blood just at the same moment a vicious metallic sound was heard.

Sirzechs lowered his gaze slowly, observing how a katana was piercing his chest wide open. His eyes were slowly guided back, and the first thing he could perceive was the dark, corrosive aura.

"Elohim is someone truly terrifying. He may be the most compassionate God among all the Realms, but secretly he turned out to be the world's greatest manipulator." Issei's katana slid even deeper, making Sirzechs spit blood again. "He even turned out to be better than you."

A faint bloody smile spread across Sirzechs' face after hearing those words.

"At the very least, it's gratifying for me to know what my mistake was..." The Demon's hands clutched tightly over the katana, before Issei's attentive and mostly curious gaze.

"Won't you try to escape?" The question caused Sirzechs to chuckle, though his laughter was cut off practically immediately as he coughed up blood again.

"Could I escape when I'm badly wounded and facing someone who clearly outmatches me? I know how to accept my defeat, Hyoudou." The red-haired man concluded, feeling his strength slowly draining away.

"That's a rare thing, coming from a person like you." Clarified Issei, who strengthened his grip on his katana at Sirzechs' gaze.

"I guess you're right..." The Demon stated, then looked at him with some intensity. "But before I die, I have one last question." Issei mulled it over for a short second, but it didn't take long for him to nod. "When we discarded you, it was impossible for you to survive. So, that leads me to think... Who exactly are you?"

"I'm not just the last Sekiryuutei, I'm also the True Dragon God of the Apocalypse." Issei explained, and Sirzechs' eyes widened slightly at such a revelation.

"A Dragon God? So, in the Prophecy it was always talking about you. Actually, the Apocalypse only referred to our species..." The Demon deduced greedily, then smiled again. "How does it feel to have to turn you into a monster? After all, you..."

"I know, I'll also have to kill the children and babies. I'll have to exterminate your kind completely to make sure they don't cause trouble again, and for that I have to become a monster." Issei interrupted him as he raised one of his hands, creating a large magic circle that began to spin at a great speed.

"But, if I must become a monster to ensure that no one innocent suffers in the future..." Issei's eyes glowed with great intensity, and the magic circle followed him as a dark glow began to emanate from it.

"If so, then I will become the worst monster in your nightmares."

A resounding explosion shook the stage, causing the great cloud of dust to dissipate from one instant to the next.

Everyone stared in complete silence in one particular direction. The steady sound of blood droplets sliding down the metal filled the silent atmosphere.

Finally, Issei swung the katana hard, getting all the blood smeared on the floor.

And finally, his relaxed look slowly changed to a smile.

"It's over."

It was two words...

Two simple words...

But that simplicity had such a complex undertone that it shook everyone's heart.

The first to react was Rossweisse, and her look that was covered with joy and tears was a clear proof of that.

"Issei!" The Queen Valkyrie exclaimed in complete happiness as she started running towards him, and that simple movement made everyone else finally react.

"WWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

The shout of victory was heard throughout the battlefield as all the warriors raised their weapons with great energy.

Vali and his group gathered, and as was always usual with them, they did not show much feeling, but the fact that they were all smiling was proof that they were also very pleased with the outcome.

When Rossweisse ran past Tiamat and Penemue, both women smiled at each other and soon followed suit.

Azazel dropped to the ground as he let out a big sigh, though no one stole that half-smile from his face.

Loki approached his father to help him stand, something Odin received with a smile.

"Go." Was all Great Red said, seeing that Ophis was very anxious as she watched her three friends quickly approach Issei.

"Darling, you did it!" Exclaimed Ross with great joy as she pounced on him with a big hug, something that visibly surprised him.

Issei's surprise was being replaced with a slight smile covered in compression as he listened to his sweet Valkyrie sobbing on his shoulder.

"I was so worried!" She tapped him on his chest, getting Issei's smile to increase a little more as he hugged her even tighter.

"You won't have to worry anymore." It was Issei's simple reply, earning a nod and a small, emotion-covered "Hum!" from the woman he loved so much.

"Issei!" Tiamat exclaimed at the top of her lungs as she arrived next to Penemue, leaping into his arms, so he was forced to hold her bridal style.

"That was amazing." Penemue matched her friends' excitement with her typical serious temper, though she didn't shy away from hugging him warmly.

"Hehe, thank you." Issei replied with a slight blush as he returned to his original form.

That fact didn't seem to matter much to his mistresses, as they were all very focused on showing him the great love they had for him. Especially Tiamat, who took advantage of the favorable position she was in to rub her cheek against his with great affection, as she always did.

That moment was abruptly broken when an Ophis floating headfirst appeared in front of everyone, who looked at her with much confusion.

Ophis wordlessly reached over to take Issei's lips before the stunned gaze of her three friends.

"Now, he's mine too." The Goddess stated with a faint smile as she parted her lips with Issei's at the piercing gaze that was directed exclusively at Issei, implying that they were looking for an immediate response.

"Well, a lot happened in there..." Issei couldn't help but rub his hair with some nervousness.

"The important thing is that it's all over." Rossweisse stated with a cute smile on her face, though Issei's seriousness indicated the exact opposite.

"It's not over yet. There are still many dangerous groups out there, like the Hero Faction. We also need to take care of all the remnants left over from the Demons and Fallen Angels so this won't happen again." That answer caused them all to return to a serious expression.

"Then let us help you." They all looked to the front, seeing that it was Michael and Yasaka.

"Yasaka is right. It is unfair that you alone bear the pressure of carrying out a great genocide." Michael stated earnestly. "It is true that they are two very treacherous species, but it should not be easy to wipe out such young lives."

"Do you agree that the Angels want to participate in a cause like this?" Rossweisse asked with mild curiosity after hearing Michael's words.

"This was my Father's wish. It may be cruel, but if this guarantees the birth of a new era where only prosperity and happiness reign, then we must make certain sacrifices so that we can fulfill it." Clarified the Angel with much assurance in his words, earning a nod from Issei.

"In that case, I want to thank you. Both of you." Those words caused a smile to appear on Michael and Yasaka's face.

"You don't have to thank us. In fact, we're the ones who should do it." The woman concluded, then gave a slight bow. "If you'll allow me, I'll be leaving now. I'm sure my daughter must be very worried right now." Those words caused everyone to nod as a gesture of farewell.

Just before the leader of the Yokais left, she fixed her gaze on Issei once more.

"By the way, I hope the victory party will be soon."

"Oh, that's right, the party..." Michael commented, watching the five of them with great interest. "From what I understand, they were going to celebrate their marriage as the victory party, when will it be?" That question made Issei's mistresses watch him very intently, since they hadn't received any more news since that time.

"Well, I hadn't given it much thought because of everything we had to face before. Besides, now I also have to take care of thinking about the happiness of another woman I love." Issei fixed his gaze on Ophis, making it clear who was the new mistress who would participate in the wedding as the main actor. "Besides, I have to make several preparations. I'll probably be all set in about three days..." Issei concluded, rubbing his chin as he thought about all the things he had to do.

Evidently, he wished for it to be the most perfect wedding ever.

"Then, if you don't mind, I'd like to have a meeting to let everyone know when the party will be held." Michael stated, receiving a nod from Issei.

The Angel left to check on his own, so Issei found himself alone along with his future wives once again.

"Can't you even give us a hint of what you will do?" Tiamat asked the question they all had in mind.

Issei's answer was more than obvious as a mysterious smile emerged from his face.

"It's a secret."

END OF THE CHAPTER!

(Actually, there is a short scene below).

I hope you enjoyed the chapter!

This has been the closing of the final battle, and now we will head straight to a moment that many were waiting for, and that moment is for Ophis and Issei to formalize their relationship from all aspects. It's obvious that in the next chapter there will be lemon, but don't worry, I'll make a warning for when the scene will be introduced.

I think almost the whole next chapter will be focused on sex, but there will be some interesting moments afterwards, so I see it necessary for all those who don't like lemon not to skip the whole chapter.

With nothing more to clarify, it's time to say goodbye.

Thank you so much for reading!

After bumping fists with Vali and Tannin, and doing a little mutual nodding with Odin and Loki, Issei finally approached a battered Azazel who was being very well taken care of by certain women.

"I told you there's no need to worry!" Azazel clarified for the eleventh time, but the Valkyries he had saved were not coming around. "I don't need to be taken care of, much less don't need to feel guilty!"

"But...!" One of them wanted to complain, earning a sigh from the Cadre.

"Listen to me. If I had to repeat that moment to save them, I'd do it a million times with no regrets." Declared the man with complete seriousness. "So don't see yourselves as having to take care of me, as it is completely unnecessary."

On this occasion, the Valkyries did listen to him...

...

...

...

Albeit only the first part.

That was obvious to decipher from the large blush that decorated the faces of the 10 beautiful women, and that was something Azazel picked up on instantly, so he couldn't help but pat his face.

"Sorry girls, I'll take him for a while." Issei's voice made all the women snap out of their crush to stare at the hero of Queen Valkyrie, so they quickly took a deep bow before walking away.

"Thank you, brat. You saved me again." Azazel clarified with a slight gritting of teeth as he sat down on the makeshift stretcher.

"How does it feel to have your first fans?" The brown asked with clear mockery in his words, earning a blank stare from Azazel.

"You know, in these moments I realize I taught you well. Too well." The Cadre chuckled, making it clear that Issei had acquired his trademark humor, though he only displayed it on occasion.

"I know this may not be the time, but I need you to do me a favor." Issei's serious look made Azazel watch him carefully.

"What does an impressive Dragon God need from a simple person like me?" Issei looked in a certain direction after the question.

Azazel was quick to follow his gaze, and quickly began to understand what the brat wanted.

Issei's eyes mirrored his four future wives, who were talking happily and calmly.

"I need you to get me the most majestic wedding rings in the world."
