"Everything will be all right," said a yellow bear, looking down at his former friend, who was shivering and bleeding from his wounds.

It wasn't cold or anything, not even a harsh winter could harm him. Pooh didn't understand why his friend was looking at him with such fear, he was only doing what they had both promised each other as children.

To be together forever and ever!

He imagined little Christopher lying in his arms and Pooh telling him stories while the little one was away. Just like when Pooh was little and Christopher was big, they always played together or told each other stories.

Christopher Robin always had the most exciting ones!

And now things could go back to the way they used to be, if only he would take a few steps to keep his best friend forever. Even if it hurts a little, Pooh will take good care of him forever and ever.

"Pooh-I'll never leave you again!" Christopher Robin's voice was croaky and brittle from all the shouting, it was a croaky whisper. He pulled his weak legs to him and deliberately made himself small to get Pooh's pity, but the yellow bear only pulled out his axe and began to sharpen it with the stone nearby.

"Please dont do that, please pooh.!"

The yellow bear had bandages, medicine and needles around him. Everything to make sure his friend would stay this time, forever and ever.

Christopher wished he had never met this beast that wanted to chop off his legs.

"I know, Christopher Robin."
