"So basically, you guys wanted to avoid getting tagged by the CP9, so you guys wore disguises," Franky said, before snorting out a laugh, "Ha! That turned out well didn't it."

"We didn't want to cause any problems for the captain… but they crossed the line so we showed em," Gin shrugged, much like him others also had taken off their disguise, now that the cat was out of the bag. Even the Going Merry was back to looking like the original. Its giant skeleton decorating was no more, sunken under the sea.

Franky nodded rubbing his chin, "Gotta say. You guys are strong… But why were you guys hiding from the CP9 again? Isn't this a warlord crew?"

Kashii and Oimo who were also on the ship, in their human-like size —due to Usopp's powers— were also interested in it.

"Well, it's complicated," Gin said, leaning back, and hissing from the pain, "Something to do with world noble not liking our captain for some reason… we actually don't know, now that I think about it."

"Luffy doesn't know either," Nami cut in, leaning over the railing from the second floor, "But he has a guess… both his grandfather and father has a lot of enemies. The world government mainly, the world nobels have a great dislike for Dragon. The same could be same for Garp, they only tolerate him because of his fame… also it might have something to do with the will of D, or whatnot."

Law who was also on the ship's deck gave their conversation a side glance before returning to viewing the sea. It seemed his captain was aware of that.

Franky nodded, "Well as long as I don't have to listen to some self riotous marines. I'm good." He said, not noticing the side glance Anchor was giving him, "Believe me when I say this… the Marines have screwed me over enough times already. It's easier for me to trust pirates than them."

Gin laughed, "Be careful, some of us were previous marines that turned pirates," he said glancing at Anchor, making Franky blink and look at the smith. Anchor shook his head, not minding anything.

"He isn't wrong…" Kashii said, while Oimo nodded, "The world government is bad! They tricked us into guarding the front gate of Enies Lobby for fifty years!"

"Yeah, they even told us that they had our captain captive. And they will kill em, if we don't do our duty," Omio added, looking pissed at the sour memory.

Usopp who was unaware of it asked them about it. And Yosaku was helpfully there to explain. He told him about how both Kashii and Omio were part of Elbaf pirates under Dorry and Broggy. And how they were tricked into working for the world government.

"Huh… that's…" Usopp said, "But how did you find out they were part of the Elbaf pirates?" he asked Yosaku.

"Oh, I didn't," he said, "They did…"

Oimo grinned and nodded, "Yeah!" he agreed, "The moment he used his axe and shield. I could see Captain's Brogy technique in it. So, I straight up asked him…" That did add up, back in Little Garden Yosaku did ask Brogy to show him how to use a axe and shield. Who would have known that would have helped like this.

Usopp blinked before grinning, "You giants really are always straightforward…" he said, "By the way, what are you guys gonna do? Maybe join our crew?"

Both Kashii and Oimo smiled, but shook their head, "We have to find our captain. We have been looking for them over fifty years… but don't worry. We will never forget what you did, and if time calls for, we will try to repay the favor."

Usopp shook his head, "Nah, don't mention it." he said, before rubbing his chin, "Oh, I do have some questions though… how it in Elbaf?" Usopp started asking about the land of giants.

Yosaku, and the kids were also interested and joined in on the conversation, as Kashii and Oimo started to tell them about the story of their homeland.

While that was happening, Franky was much more interested in knowing about Luffy. If he was going to make a ship for them with Adam Wood, it would be good to know about the captain's personality. Also, Franky was curious about the man he was going to follow.

There were a lot of rumors about him, being a hero, rathe then a pirate. So Franky was curious.

Gin grinned, "Well, he's much more amazing than he lets on…" He said, elaborating on the tales of their adventure and telling Franky about their adventures.

"At least someone is passionate," Nami said, shaking her head.

Right then Hatchan came out with steaming plates filled with dishes, "Lunch is ready!"

"Who-ho!"

"I am Groot!"

"I want the noodles!"

As the crew ate lunch they went over many things. With Franky asking about his duties and whatnot. As the crew never had a shipwright before, all the freedom was given to Franky to maintain and re-enforce the ship as much as possible.

Franky was fine with that, he was also interested in working alongside Anchor and Usopp, mainly because of their creativity. As the hours passed, the Going Merry got a call from Nico Robin, asking about what happened.

Franky was scared shit-less first, mainly because of the rumors of her being a demon child, that was out to destroy the world.

It didn't help either that she played along, before Nami cleared things up, giving a brief summary of the lies of world government.

Robin looked a bit disappointed that her entertainment was cut off. If it was a month earlier, that name would have given her sadness and pain. But now, it was nothing but a joke to her. And she had to thank her brother for all of this.

After clearing things up with Franky, Robin started asking about what happened. Eager to know how they managed to escape. It was already night by the time the call ended. And with how they were going, it would take another day to reach Jaya.
