A/N:Hello readers. So I really don't know what this story is going to be, but I just really wanted to write something fun. First time doing something like this, so i hope you enjoy. FYI im not the best at this whole writing stuff so im going to try my best to do it all, and try to make it all make sense. Sorry in advance. Enjoy!

Chapter 1: Death Isn't The Only Gift

Man, I really didn't see this one coming. As people are surrounding me, all I can hear is my music. I see people talking but I can't hear them. I have no idea how long I have left, so I'll make the best of it.

"Hey, you." I say weakly to anyone who could hear me. "Tell my parents I'm sorry." I feel like my eyes are beginning to feel heavy now. Shit, this is it no regrets now.

No wait one last thing before I go: "And please tell my friends to destroy my computer."

With that, my eyes closed, and the last thing I remember hearing was one of my favorite songs.

Huh, not a bad way to go then.

When I opened my eyes again, I was nowhere. Well, more like I was in a void of white. It's like some guy pulled a flash grenade and threw it at my face, or worse playing Genshin at night and getting blinded by the logging screen without warning.

Man I'm going to miss that, and the new game that was coming out too. Don't really care about gameplay, but I'll tell you what the OST is always the best when it comes to it. Well any OST is great, and you can tell when people really put their heart and soul into it.

Back on topic where am I? The last thing I remember was... The bus... Right, I died...

"Hello? Anyone here?"

Silence, Sip, Nada.

Ok, let's not panic. I'm sure something will happen, but let's expect anything and everything. Worse case, I'm left alone with my thoughts, in which case I'll probably start to-.

"Hello. I see you finally made it".

"As I told you he would be arriving on time."

I turned around and was met with two small balls of light. One was a yellow ball, and the other was purple. Both little balls had small wings, almost lizard-like.

Huh if you really think about it, they almost looked like Navi from the Legend of Zelda. I just hope there not annoying like it.

"Hey Listen."

I take it back this is going to be hell.

"Um... Hi, my name is."

"We know who you are. Let's skip that part and get to the most important information right now. For now, you can call me GoL." said the yellow Navi " The one next to me is called."

"LoD" Purple Navi interrupted GoL.

I wanted to joke but I had a feeling they would not laugh, so I just asked

"What type of name is LoD?"

"It's not a name I would have liked to get. However, it's the name I chose to bear."

I stare " What?"

"He wanted to name himself GoD. However, that name was already taken in this world." GoL spoke with an amused tone in his speech.

"Ohhhhh" yea I get it now. (No you don't) yea I don't

Hold the F up did he say this world?

" Wait this World?"

"Yes, for you see we are not from this universe. We are beings with greater power that no one can challenge."

'But you can't use GoD as a name. Yeah sure buddy.'

"So why are you here? Are you here to judge me? To see if I go to heaven or hell? or what exactly." This is getting confusing I thought you went up or down an escalator Tom & Jerry style not have two Navi's talking.

"No, we are here to give you an option," GoL spoke with a big flash of light appearing behind him.

I cover my eyes this time, not wanting getting flashbang again. That is something I don't want to experience again.

When to flash was over I opened my eyes again and to my surprise all I can say was.

I was not ready for today.

In front of me there was a box with a hole on top and what looks like a bunch of papers inside almost like a raffle of sorts.

"Put your hand inside the box and choose ONE piece of paper."

Wait hold up.

"Hold on what is going on? how is this going-!"

"Put. Your hand. In the box."

And with that, I lost all confidence that this was going to be any fun for me.

You know, for a little ball of light I had the confidence that this thing could easily 'Hakai' me. And that's a risk I'm not going to take. Two Death in one day, yea no thank you.

So I put my hand in the box and picked up a piece of paper.

To my surprise the moment I took it out of the box it was glowing red.

I don't think that's good, Right?

"Read it out loud."

I open it and it said.

"Reincarnation into Remnant?"

'Remnant? It feels like I heard that before, but where?'

"Well, your Fate has been chosen. Now before you go any questions you like to ask. But for warned you only have 3 to ask."

3 questions, that's good. Okay think about what I need to know

"However you can't ask about the world, that is something you must learn by yourself."

And my 3 questions are gone.

...sigh... Roll with it.

"What were my other options?"

Suddenly all the paper inside the box came out in many colors all appearing in front of me.

'Let's see. My options were, Monsters in pockets, Ninjas, People yelling and fighting, School of Heros, Card games, Assassinating an Octopus, Real F-ing Vampire, Isekai, Finding your sibling, Become a dog?, Far Far away, and sexy robot girls with guns.'

What are these options? I feel like I know half of these but really a dog?

"Ok, thanks for that." Feels like I either got the best option or the worst.

"Your Next question?"

Ok, let me think. Remnant, Remnant? where have I heard that before?

"I feel like I've heard the name Remnant before. So can you give me a hint?"

"What was the last thing you heard before you died?"

Ummm

"Music?"

"From?"

"From RW..."

...

OH SHIT!

OK let me think.

On one side, cool. I at least know something up until Volume 6 first episodes thanks to my friends taking me to see the premier at the theaters, and it's still fresh in my memory so I got something right? I can have cool powers or a cool weapon right?

On the bad side, I dropped the show to focus on school, and have no idea what may happen in future Volumes, shit I think they're at Volume 8 or 9 now. Also entering a world with monsters and crazy people is not something I'm ready for. And if I do go to Remnant where are they going to drop me? At Beacon, or worse After the Fall?

Yea, drop someone with little to no fighting experience into a world with monsters. I'll be dead at the first moment I see a Grimm.

"Can I refuse or get a do-over?" I need to know.

"You can refuse however if you do, you will be sent to hell. So make your choice."

Man, these guys are dicks.

"Consider that a free question."

ok, I take it back. They are good people.

"Your last question."

What do I want to ask? I know where I'm going, I know what I'm dealing with. What else do I need to know? Man if only I had my music I could think of something.

Wait hold up.

"I... can I take my music with me?"

"This could be my last time here. So I was hoping I could take something that I know I will always have or something to remember where I was from. Music to me is kind of important in my life or life I had."

If they say no, there goes my last question. Damn, should have just doubled it and given it to the next person. Oh well, what's done is done. Hopefully, I still remember most of the songs I liked. Maybe over time, I'll remember the other but for now, it's all I've got left.

"Very well. Step forward"

My eyes widen.

No way "Really!"

I step forward.

"Yes. However, it will come at a price."

LoD suddenly appears in front of me.

"Now remember. This is not a gift this is a curse."

LoD suddenly started flying around me in a circle. Not knowing what to do, I just stood there watching it go around and around wondering what was happening.

"what are you-"

I felt something hit my back hard. The next thing I knew, it came out the front. Out of my heart.

A bright light shines out my chest. But no pain came.

I fall to my knees and look up.

"GoL The Fuck!" I ask calmly.

"This was the only way I could have transferred the music you requested. So be thankful for it."

"The other option was going through your head. So be really thankful."

"Doesn't make it even better though."

"Should I take it back?"

"No no no. I'm good thank you."

still hurts like a bitch but I'll live.

"So how will this work?"

"You'll figure it out."

Great.

"Ok thanks, now what?"

"Now it's time to go. We have already wasted enough time here. 'So it's time to say goodbye.'"

Hah

"Right. Thanks for this. Really thank you."

"Good luck in your new life young man."

"Enjoy your infant years."

"Thank y-"

With a bright light again, I was too shocked to cover my eyes.

"AHHH! My eyes!"

With that, I faded away. Waiting to see what's next in my new life.
