Chapter 42: You don't know me

Okay, so what can I do in this situation?

I can try and talk my way out of this? But knowing me, I might make things even worse. I can tell her the truth? But she could run away, and this could be my only chance to talk to her. I can break her arm?

...

Okay, maybe not the best idea by me, but this situation does feel familiar to me.

"Well?" Blake asked me as she pushed her blade closer.

"Give me a second here, I'm thinking of what to say to you. It's not every day that I get a blade on my neck from a friend. I mean it beats the first time it happened to me." As I said that I put my hands in my pocket to feel a pin from my flash grenade. If things go south, I can always use this to escape and get back up.

"We are not friends here." She tells me as she continues to press on.

"Sure we are." My ignorance knows no bounds. "You helped me out when I first met you."

"How?" She looked at me confused by that and I felt her blade loosen a bit.

"You told me about the tea when I was having headaches." Even though it didn't help. "You helped out at initiation. And I feel like you don't hate me too much. So I think that's a good thing." She continued to look at me confused by what I was saying to her. She eventually reaches for my sunglasses and removes them from my face. I stare back at her amber eyes while she looks at my white eyes. It felt like she was staring into my soul with those eyes of hers. Soon the blade around my neck gets removed and hands me back my sunglasses. As I grab them from her she turns around and begins to walk away from me.

"Blake wait!" I go to follow her but she turns to face me.

"Don't follow me. I need to go." She continued to walk away and I continued to follow her. "I told you. Don't follow me." She said to me with an irritated voice and continued to walk away.

"You want to know why then?" She doesn't stop, so I continue. "Your team is worried about you. And asked my team for help." She stops and looks back at me.

"Yang?" She questions.

"And Ruby. Weiss too but I feel like she just got dragged by her team." Hearing her name I see her look to the side not wanting to talk about her. " Look they are worried about you. They just want to know that you are at least safe and want to talk to you."

"Well, I don't wish to talk to them. If you want just tell them that I'm fine. But I'm not coming back." With that, she continues to walk away again.

'Come on think... Fuck it bring out the big guns.'

"Is it because of your ears?" I asked her this and she came to a complete stop she turned to me again and in the blink of an eye, she appeared right infront of me with her weapon pointed at me.

"Who told you." She said to me in a really upset voice.

"Okay, you really need to stop choosing violence for your responses." I tell her this as I push her weapon away from my face. "And the reason I know this, is because we came in late on Friday and saw you remove your bow from your head. Not gonna lie, it caught me by surprise."

"We?" She asked.

"Pyrrha and I. Remember, we went with you guys and you had that fight with Weiss. We were there too."

She began to grip her weapon hard at what I just told her. "Did you tell anyone else?"

"No, we haven't. That's not my problem, that's mostly yours. Honestly, I really don't care too much about it but I got dragged into this mess now, so what can I do."

"Ignore it and move on with your life."

"I could, but I will just get dragged on by my friends. Like right now."

"I told you we are not-"

"Blake, I don't discriminate. I'm not fucking Cardin. My first friend is a Faunus, I also got another one. But this is not about me. This is about you and trying to get the team back together."

"Why? I feel like they won't need me there. Especially Weiss."

"Fuck Weiss." I give it to her straight and she looks at me surprised by that. "You think one person hating on you will make the others agree with her? Cause I'm telling you this, it won't. Your team cares about you, Blake. Not the opinions about some... Some..." I tried my best not to call her something bad, so I just said something simple. "Ignorant person. They are worried about you. Ruby and Yang spent their whole afterschool looking for you and today, they asked us for help. And by what Pyrrha told me yesterday, Weiss might even hear you out. So don't walk away from this, you might regret it." As I finish I see her think about what I just told her, everything might have made sense in my head, and telling her this could work.

But I feel like it might be more complicated than it is.

"Sigh... Seth, I appreciate this, but I can't go back. Not now."

"Why?"

"I can't tell you. This is something that I need to do here and now." Her tone sounded serious almost like she was determined to go through with whatever it was she is doing.

"Is it really this serious that you need to ignore your team? Your friends?"

"It is. Look once I'm done here I will consider coming back, but for now, I have to do this. I just need answers." She turns around again and begins to walk away.

I continue to follow her until she turns again. "Why are you still following me?!" She said to me with an angry tone now.

I'm asking myself the same question here, but the answer is simple. "If Yang finds out that I found you and didn't call her. She might kill me. Ruby might get upset, and Weiss will just join Yang. So my options are limited here." Blake rubs her face in annoyance as she looks to the sky for help.

"So what? Are you just going to follow me until you get bored?"

"Nah, if anything my team will soon call or text me asking where I'm at. Eventually, I will leave, but I'm thinking about what to do here. I made a promise to your team to help them and now you telling me that you don't want to be found. Soooo, I got something, but you might not like it." She continued to look at me like I was an idiot for the way I was thinking, and, in all honesty, I could get behind it.

"So, what do you want?" Blake asked getting impatient.

"Three things!" I said to her, but she shakes her head no.

"One."

"Two."

"One."

"Two."

"One or I'll walk." She narrows her eyes at me

"Two or I'll follow you to the end of Remnant and call your team." I narrow my eyes as well. We both looked at eachother wanting the other to accept, but I could see that she was already tired of this and just agreed to it.

"Fine! What do you want?"

"Perfect! Number one, your team or my team never finds out about this meeting. Got it?" She shakes her head in agreement with the terms that I issued.

"Alright and the last one?" Blake reluctantly agreed.

I pull out my scroll and show it to her, she looks at it and looks back at me confused. "The last one is that you at least call me if you're going to do something dumb." I saw her going to argue with me but I just raised my hand to stop her. "Listen, I know we might not be 'friends' here. But I get the feeling that you might do something dumb. So why not have at least backup."

"I don't want to involve anyone else here Seth, it's bad enough that I already got someone following me here, I don't need another one." I was assuming she was referring to the other Faunus that I saw leave with her but I didn't question it. "Can't you decide on something else?"

I thought about it, but nothing really came to mind. "Nah. It's either this or I talk."

She looks at me upset with that but just groans at me and takes my scroll. She fidgets with it for a few seconds and hands it back to me. Looking at it I see a new scroll number on it and I call it. After a few seconds, I could hear Blake scroll rings and she looked at me if I was serious.

"Really?" She asked me with a deadpan expression.

"Hey, I just wanted to be sure. But thank you." She rolls her eyes at me and she walks away, I don't follow her, but I do tell her something. "Blake! Be careful!" She gives me a side glance and nods her head towards me. leaving me alone once again.

'Sigh... I pray that she will at least consider my offer. I also pray that she doesn't do anything stupid either.' I turned away from where she went and began to head back to my team. 'I hope they are not worried.' After leaving the alley and heading back to the arcade I looked around for my team and saw them all standing next to Pyrrha who was playing a game.

'Dude! What the F.' Walking toward them I see them all having their eyes on the screen.

"Hey, guys? So what happened?"

"Shhhh, Pyrrha is on a roll right now." "I can see why you like this game a lot Seth, it's so calming." "Get it Pyrrha Get it!" Looking at the screen Pyrrha was on a roll right now, playing my favorite game Tetris.

'Well, at least they didn't notice I was gone. Still, though, I call Bullshit on this.' I continued to watch them all take turns at the game and eventually, the owner of the place began to kick us out because they were closing. We headed back to Beacon since it was already late. Upon arriving there we met up with team RW_Y and saw them all looking tired of the day they had.

"Anything?" Yang asked us.

"Sadly no, we explore almost all of Vale. And we couldn't find any signs of her." Jaune informed them with the rest of my team all looking down over the information.

"Sigh... It's fine guys. Thanks for helping today." Ruby thanked us for the help.

"No problem. We can try again tomorrow." Nora said to her but Ruby just shook her head,

"No, it's fine. I'm sure she will be okay. If anything we will continue tomorrow again after school. We don't want to disturb you guys again. Thanks again guys, goodnight." With that Team RW_Y entered their room and closed their door.

The team entered their room as well and I was the last one to enter. Looking at Ruby's door I just sigh at the day that I had. Hopefully tomorrow nothing too crazy will happen.

Something Crazy was going to happen today. And it all started with the message that I received during combat class.

'Meet at this place. Come alone.' The message was simple enough to understand and the person that I received it from, really made me question my ability to know when BS is about to happen. I simply sent her a thumbs-up and put my scroll away.

"Is everything okay?" I turned to my side and saw Pyrrha looking at me.

"Huh? Oh, nothing. I just got something important to do later on today. So I won't be able to help Jaune today. Sorry." I paid attention back to the match ahead and saw two students fight each other.

"Really? What do you need to do?" She continued to question me and I just responded simply.

"Oh, you know... Stuff." She looked at me confused at that but continued to question me.

"Really? Stuff? Are you hiding something?" Shit come on, at least let me think of something here.

"I...I promise Penny I would do a favor for her. So I'm going to meet up with her today." Technically not a lie, but still.

"Oh, are you going to meet up with her? Mind if I tag along?"

I looked at her with shocked eyes and a panicked face. But I recuperated right away to my normal look. "Sorry Pyrrha, this is something Penny wants the two of us to do. I promise we can do something next time." Please work Please!

I saw her smile a bit and looked back at the match, "Very well. Say hello to Penny for me then."

I feel like this could be a problem in the long run for me. But that will be my future self problem.

After the final bell rang, I went to my locker to grab my equipment and my weapon. Something told me that something would go down. So I rather be prepared for anything and pray that I was wrong. I placed my weapon on my back and began to head out toward the airship to head to the location where I was to meet up with Blake.

However, life is not that easy for me!

"Seth? What are you doing here." I turned around and saw Team RW_Y looking at me confused as to why I was there.

"Oh, you know... Going for a walk."

"With your weapon on your back?" Yang question.

"A very Enthusiastic walk." I could tell they didn't buy it so I just told them I was going to meet up with Penny.

"And you're bringing your weapon with you?"

"Look you already know what I'm about, so why are you guys this surprised by it? Anyway, what about you three? You going to keep searching for Blake?" I quickly change the subject about me.

"We are, but I feel like we might have a big task ahead of us." Ruby said to me.

"Have you tried looking for her in places that she likes? You know, The docks, bookstores, any quiet place?" They looked at me confused by that.

"How do you know what she likes? You two bearly even speak to eachother." Weiss questioned my logic and I just shrug at it.

"We may not talk to eachother, but I do pay attention to my friends. Ruby likes to mess around with her weapon a lot. Yang has this thing that she does with her hair whenever she feels it move around. And you like to make sure you look elegant whenever you enter a room. So I do pay attention to everyone."

The three looked at me like I was crazy with Ruby looking embarrassed, Yang looking red in the face, and Weiss also looking red as well but with an upset look.

"Is that all you do?! Look at everyone like they are some type of object!? Ugh! I feel disgusted by that!" Weiss moves behind Yang hiding from my viewpoint. I roll my eyes at that and turn away from the three.

"It's not like that, I just like to pay attention to my friends. Maybe if you stop wasting time on yourself, you would at least get to know the person better. Like Blake." I turn my head to the side to look at them. "You are so judgmental of everyone that I feel like I made a mistake in not letting Miss Goodwitch ask the headmaster to expel you. The amount of Bitching that you do is really getting to me, and I hope you at least get your teammate back so I can go back to ignoring you. If you keep that up, you will be the loneliest of all." With those final words, I go inside the airship. Leaving the three girls in shocked.

"That! That!" Weiss angrily said but Yang soon cut her off.

"Weiss just cut it out already." Yang said to her teammate as she also went toward the airship, "We got a teammate to find." Ruby followed behind her sister and after a few seconds Weiss as well followed her.

After reaching Vale I made sure I wasn't followed by the team. I'm sure they did want to know why I was really here, but hopefully, with my comments, they would at least be upset or angry at me for them not to follow me. Passing a lot of buildings I made my way toward the place where I was supposed to meet with Blake.

Once I arrived there, I saw that it was a small place that sold coffee. A simple coffee shop. Looking up I could see Blake there and she was with someone else there with her. The same person I saw her leave with. Entering the shop, I motion to the person that my friends were up there and see him nod his head at that. Walking upstairs I opened the door and saw both of them look towards me.

Blake looked surprised by my arrival but she nodded at me. I nod back at her and grab a chair to sit with them. Sitting down I looked at the other person that was with her and pictured this guy jumping over cars, throwing a banana at some guy, and walking around with some guy with blue hair. He looked familiar but I just grabbed my head in pain from the headaches that I was getting.

"Is he alright?" I heard the guy next to me ask.

"Maybe this was a mistake." Now I heard Blake say.

"No, it's fine. Just headaches." I rub my head some more and look back at Blake. "Thanks for calling me."

I see her nod and take a sip of her drink. "So, you want to know more about me."

"Finally She speaks! Nearly two days you're giving me nothing but small and weird looks." I looked at Blake and saw her give the look that I was assuming at the guy. "Yeah, like that. Does she do that a lot?" The guy looked at me and I simply shrugged.

"Meh, from what I know about her, sometimes." I looked at Blake and now she was giving me the look.

"This was a mistake." Blake said as she took another sip of her drink. "Sun, are you familiar with the White Fang?"

"Of course! I don't think there's a Faunus on the planet who hasn't heard of them. Stupid holier-than-thou creep. They use force to get whatever they want. They are a bunch of freaks if you ask me."

Well damn, who hurt you? Blake looked toward me and I thought to myself.

"I have met them, Yes." I would rather not provoke her even more, cause I feel like this might go somewhere.

"I was once a member of the White Fang." Sun the person next to me, spit his drink out toward me that cover my sunglasses.

"Dude, really?" I asked with a deadpan expression.

"Sorry." I see him hand me a napkin and I take it from him. He then turns back to Blake. "Wait a minute, you were a member of the White Fang?"

Blake began to explain the history of the White Fang, how originally it was a peaceful organization that wanted to make humans and Faunus work together. However over time that became more of a challenge with humans not wanting them in any part of the world. Eventually, they became Violent and that got the attention of more people and more Faunus who were done with the bad treatment. Blake also explains how she was there for most of her life, but eventually, she was done with the terrorist tactics and wanted to help people.

"All with the help of a little Black bow." As she finished, I looked at her and the bow on top of her head wiggled around.

"Cute." I said to myself. But Blake looks at me annoyed by what I said. I continue to clean my sunglasses and put them back on.

"So. Have you told your friends any of this." Sun asked. But Blake just looked down at her drink.

"No, she hasn't." I answer for her but receive a kick to my leg. "Ow." I rub my leg at that and see Blake narrow her eyes at me. "So why exactly are you bringing the White Fang into this?" I asked her and saw her close her eyes before taking in a deep breath.

"People are assuming that the White Fang is responsible for the latest Dust shop robberies. And I want to be the one to put that theory to rest."

...

"So... How do we do that?" Sun asked.

"Sigh... I have no idea." Blake sighs at this.

"I might have something in mind." They both looked at me in question.

"What?" They both question.

"Well, two days ago I went to a place to get something back. There I met some sort of informant that knows everything about Vale crime parts."

"Wait what? How do you know this?" Sun asked.

"Meh, I accidentally went in there a few times. The first time was an accident, the second time was-" I was going to continue but Blake cut me off.

"Tell me what you know Seth." Blake said impatiently.

"Right sorry. So I went to get a case that was stolen from me and they had it. When I tried to get it back the owner of the place looked inside and looked at me saying. 'If I was working for him?' I didn't really think too much about it but, if you think the White Fang is behind this, then they might be working with someone." As I finished Blake leaned back in her seat and began to think of everything that I said. While Sun just looked at her a began to wonder as well.

"So what's the plan now?" Sun asked.

"I don't believe that the White Fang is behind these robberies. They never needed that much dust before." I see her look at me. "Are you sure that's everything you know?" I just simply nod at her.

"Yeah, that's all I know." I answer her.

"Can you take me to that place?"

...

I just rub my neck at that. " Shit... I'm kind of banned from that place Blake. I don't think it would be wise to go there."

"Take me." She looks at me determined to go.

...

Sigh... The things I do. "Sigh... Fine, let's go." The three of us got up from our seats and began to head out. However, my scroll began to ring. Seeing that I got a call from Penny. "Hey Penny what's up?"

...

"Where are you right now?" The voice caught me by surprise that I didn't answer. The reason was, that it wasn't Penny on the other line.

...

"Seth, I'm going to ask again... Where... Are... You." The familiar voice said angrily.

...

"Ehe." I hung up and turned my scroll off. I turn to see Blake and Sun with a confused look on their faces. "Well, I might be fucked later... So I hope this is worth it."

"What happened?" Blake asked as I continued to go to the place we wanted to go.

"Your team might be hunting me down now." Sun looked at Blake confused by that and Blake just rubbed her head in annoyance.

'Sigh... God, damn it.'

A few minutes earlier.

"Blake!" Ruby yelled at the streets of Vale as they continued to look for their missing teammate.

"Blake!" Yang also yelled for her partner's name hoping to find her as well.

"Blake! Where are you?! Weiss, you are not helping." Ruby question her partner.

"You know who might be able to help? The police." Weiss said to them, earning a groan from both sisters. "What? It was just an Idea."

Walking away Ruby just said "Yeah, a bad one."

"Weiss, I think we should hear her side of the story first before we jump to any conclusions." Yang said to Weiss as she continued to follow her sister.

"Well, I think when we hear it, you will all realize I was right." Weiss said to them as she continued to follow her teammates. Not knowing a fourth member has joined the party.

"Well, I think Weiss's hair looks wonderful today." The mystery member said to the three earning a fright from them.

"Gah! Penny where did you come from!?" Ruby said as she looked at her surprise.

Penny just simply waved at them with a smile. "Hey, guys! What are you up to?"

"Ugh..."

"Where looking for our friend Blake."

"Oh! You mean the Faunus girl."

...

"Wait How do you know that?" Ruby question.

"Uh, the cat ears." Penny answered while pointing at her own head.

"What Cat ears? She wears a..." Yang suddenly got quiet rethinking all of her life choices. A huge silence goes between the four girls making a tumbleweed pass by them.

"She does like tuna a lot." Ruby said quietly

"Wait a minute. Penny if you are here, where is that idiot?" Weiss questions the whereabouts of Seth.

"Who?" Penny asked confused.

"Seth. And Weiss is right, weren't you two supposed to meet up?" Now Yang questions the whereabouts of Seth.

Penny began to think but soon answered. "I have no meeting with Seth on this day. I would have made sure I was in the appropriate location of our meeting by now." Making the three girls look at Penny with surprise.

"Did he?" "Lie to us?" "Why am I not surprised."

"I can call him if you like." Penny said to them and pulled out her scroll.

"Yes Penny, But let me talk to him please." Yang soon stepped forward and called Seth's number. After a few rings, he picked up.

'Hey Penny what's up? 'Seth's voice was heard and now Yang was angry.

"Where are you right now?" Yang asked but got no response.

"Seth, I'm going to ask again... Where... Are... You." Now angrily Yang said waiting for his excuse. After a few seconds, all she heard was "Ehe." Before he hung up on her.

"That Liying Blue MotherFuc-" Yang screamed raising the scroll up in the air.

"Yang relax!" Ruby tried to calm her sister before she broke Penny's scroll.

"Why are you upset? He clearly lied to us, but who cares what he is doing."

"That's the thing. Why did he lie to us and bring his weapon with him?" Yang questions Weiss.

"Cause trouble?" Ruby answer.

"Gasp! Seth would never do such a thing." Penny supported his friend not liking the tone of the others. "But don't worry Ruby my friend I won't rest until we find our friends!"

"That's really nice of you Penny but we're okay really. Right guys?" Turning her head towards her teammates Ruby was met with silence as her two last remaining teammates were gone as well.

The tumbleweed came back for a vengeance as the wind began to pick up again.

"It sure is windy today." Penny said out loud toward Ruby.

Meanwhile, the two teammates of Ruby were continuing their search for their last member and the lier.

"Yang slow down. What is with the rush now?" Weiss questions her teammate only to be met with silence. "Yang!"

"Weiss we need to find them."

"I get that, but why the rush?"

"What if they are in trouble?"

"Yang we are talking about Blake here. She's a big girl she can take care of herself."

"But why would Seth take his weapon with him? Unless he knows where Blake is. And if he knows where she is, she might be in trouble."

"Yang, I'm sure those two can take care of themselves. Blake is no slouch, and Sapphire can at least fight. Just don't worry-" Weiss gets cut off by Yang turning to face her with red eyes.

"Do you even care if we find her them?!" Yang screams at Weiss, making her step back.

"Of course I do. I'm just afraid of what she'll say once we do." Weiss began to walk past Yang as she began to take the lead "The innocent never run Yang. Sapphire has clearly proven that." With those words, Yang begins to follow Weiss as well.

'Sigh... Those two better be safe then.' Yang thought to herself as she continued to follow Weiss.

"This is the place?" Blake questioned me as I looked at the club in question.

"Yep." I said to her now looking at the club in front of us. I also looked at the guards at the front door looking at me and quickly running inside. "Welp, this is the farthest I can go. The rest is up to you."I tell her as I take a seat at a bus stop. I look at Blake and see her not amused by my antics.

"Sigh... Fine, what's the name of the boss here?"

I blinked and wondered. "You know, that's a really good question. I never asked."

"So you just got banned from this place without even knowing who the person in charge here is?" Now Sun question. "Nice."

"Then you are coming with me then." Blake grabs me by my scarf and drags me with her.

"No! Blake Please! I'm banned here! Sun do something!" I tried to protest but it was no use.

"Why? I'm coming with you guys." Sun said as he followed us inside.

"God, damn it Sun!" As soon as we stepped inside we were greeted by guns pointing at us.

...

"So this is why you are ban." Sun asked.

"No, shit."

"Wait! Stop! Nobody shoots!" The voice of the boss rang through the club as he began to walk towards the front. Passing through his men he sees who was at the front. "Really? Two days and you come back again?" He questioned me as I just rubbed the back of my head.

"Ehe... I just got dragged here." I motion to Blake who still had me by my scarf. "Good seeing you guys again. How's everything since the -"

"Get out." The boss said as he turned his back on us and began to walk away.

Blake lets go of me and begins to walk toward him. A few of the people here pointed their weapons at her and Sun decided to bring out his weapon as well. Some sort of staff.

"I need information on a few things. I heard you can provide them." Blake said to the man, and he looked back at us, looking at Blake and to her bow. He gets the message across. He motions to her to follow and she does.

"Sun stay here with Seth, this won't take long." With those final words Blake moves more inside the club leaving Sun and me by the front door.

...

'Well, this is awkward. Okay, Seth let's try to make friends here. He told me his name was Sun... Something with a W. Okay, I can do this.'

"So, you're Sun Goku, right?" 'DAMN IT!'

"I'm Sun Wukong, yes." Sun agreed not hearing what I just said.

...

'Roll with it.' "Well, nice to meet you. Name's Seth Sapphire. A friend of Blakes. How do you two know each other?"

"Oh, well... I kind of followed her these last few days... Honestly, I'm surprised she's this talkative. Last few days she hasn't really talked at all and yesterday, I leave for five minutes, and she was gone. But luckily I found her."

...

What the fuck dude. "Right... Well, it's good to know that she at least had someone watching her back." Even though I question it. "Regardless thanks for the help then. I know her team has been worried about her."

"Did they get into a fight?"

"You could say that. But that's not my story to tell."

"Right, right... Sooooo, are you two a thing or?" I turned to Sun who was looking at me with anticipation.

My face goes from shock to concern, to What, to The fuck. in the span of a second. "No... We are not like that. I'm just here because she called me for help. And I am thankful that she did." I looked around the club some more and saw that it was still the same as last time. The only exception was that across from us towards the bar. I saw Blake and the boss of the place still talking a bit. And right next to the Boss were the twins. I saw Red looking at the two, while the white one was looking at me and sent me a wink my way.

That got me to shiver a bit, that I looked away from her.

After ten minutes here, we saw Blake get up from her seat and begin to walk our way.

"Did you get what you wanted?" Sun asked her.

"A little... But it's enough." She walked past us and exited the club, we both followed her outside and continued to follow her.

"So what now?" I question.

"We are heading to the shipment area in Vale." Blake said to us as she continued to walk.

"Oh, that's right!" Sun exclaimed. "While I was on the ship I heard some guys talking about offloading a huge shipment of dust coming in from Atlas."

"And you are bringing this up now, Why?" I question while looking at Sun.

"Hey! I thought you had a better lead here. And it's Huge! Big Schnee company freighter." Damn with that much Dust, they can power a lot of shit with that. Or worse make something dangerous.

"Are you sure?" I question Sun, but Blake intervene

"He is. Junior confirmed it." Blake said as we continued to follow her toward the shipment area.

...

"Who?" I asked.

It was already dark, and I had no idea what time it was. I could check my scroll. But I feel like it would be bombarded by a lot of missed calls from everyone that I didn't bother to check. So here we are, on top of a building looking at a bunch of Cargo that was just sitting there waiting to be stolen by someone. I looked to my left and saw Blake just staring at the Cargo as well not removing her eyes from it.

"Sigh..." I took a sigh of relief as we continued to wait.

"You know you don't have to be here." I heard Blake tell me this and I just retorted.

"I can say the same thing about you." I see her look at me with an annoyed face.

"I'm serious Seth, this doesn't concern you at all. This is White Fang Business."

"Didn't you say you were not a part of it anymore? I don't think it should concern you as well. Why not call the police and let them deal with it?" I see her continue to narrow her eyes at me and I just roll mine. "Look, I know this is not my place, but I'm here just in case of backup. If shit does go down, it's better to have someone having your two backs. This isn't my first time dealing with White Fang." I said to her as I continued to watch onward.

"You dealt with them before?" Blake questioned me.

"Yeah, on my sixteen birthday. My Gramps took me on a trip to a place where he works, and it got attacked. That was also the day I met Penny as well. So, a group of White Fang attacked a Facility, and we were able to escape. Had a blade around my neck and nearly lost my life. But you know, shit happens." I turned to Blake and saw her looking at me with wide eyes.

"When was this?" She questioned and I saw a little bit of panic in her eyes.

"Ugh... Last year. In Mantle. Why?" Her eyes widened even more, and I could hear a little of what she said.

"You were there." I could barely hear the last part and now I looked at her confused. But before I could say anything Sun jumped next to us.

"Did I miss anything?" I turned and saw him carrying a bunch of green apples in his hands... Where did he get those?

"Not really, they've offloaded all the crates from the boat. Now they're just sitting there." Blake pointed out the obvious while I kept on looking at her. I might need to have a word with her after all of this, about that.

"Cool. I stole you some food." Sun shows her and me some apples. And I greatly take one. Today has been a long day.

"Thank you, Sun." I bite into it and hear Blake tell him.

"Do you always break the law without a second thought?"

"Hey, weren't you in a cult or something?" I nearly choked on the apple after Sun told Blake this. I mean he wasn't wrong, but still man. Don't say that out loud. Looking at Blake's reaction I could tell she was not happy as well with that. "Okay, too soon."

"So what exactly is our plan here?" I asked. "Are we just hoping that the White Fang is involved or isn't? And if they are not, what then? Call the cops or are we dealing with this ourselves?" Before anyone could answer me, Wind began to pick up behind us, and looking at the source we saw a Bullhead heading toward the center of the place and land.

The Bullhead doors open and out steps a person wearing Black and White, but the most noticeable feature of the person is the red Symbol on his back.

"Oh, no." Blake said hoping that she was wrong about the accusation earlier.

"Is that them?" Sun asked

"Yes... It's them." Blake's answer to Sun's question. Soon more members began to walk out of the Bullhead holding weapons in their hands.

"They look way different from the ones I fought before." I said out loud. Not noticing Blake looking at me.

"You really didn't think they were behind it did you?"

"Now I don't want to be 'that' guy. But I will." I said to them trying to make the best out of this. "But I don't see any features that could indicate that they are Faunus."

"They are... I just know it. I think deep down I knew I just didn't want to be right." Blake said in a defeated voice seeing the seen in front of her.

However, that was short-lived by a new, loud voice. "Hey! What's the hold-up!?" From the airship, A new person comes walking out. A man with a white suit and a hat. The man had orange hair and a cane in his hand. My head began to hurt at the sight of him and I began to picture him. Fighting Blake inside of someplace, then he was sitting down looking at another person and lastly was him fighting Ruby in the skies. I rubbed my head some more that I didn't notice Blake get up and pull her weapon out, she then jumped from the building we were in and headed down towards them.

"Damn it, Blake." I shake my head some more and look at Sun. "Sun go help her out."

"And what will you do?" I see him stand up as well and look at the direction that Blake is heading at.

"I'm going to make a call. Just Go, I'll be there." Sun nodded at me and began to follow Blake as well. I pull out my scroll and turn it on. I was greeted by a lot of missed calls from my team with two from Ren, four from Jaune, Eight from Nora, and Twelve from Pyrrha. Great so I'm in big trouble today. I look for Yang's number and call it.

...

"You have a lot of nerve to call m-" I quickly cut her off. Not wanting to hear this now.

"Yang. I found Blake!" I tell her "We are at the shipment docks. Tell your team this."

Her tone changed when I told her this. "I'm with Weiss right now. Ruby is with Penny, so we are not together."

"That's fine, I'll call her right now. Just come quick. Shit might go down."

"We are going to have a long ta-" I end the call to quickly try to find Ruby's number I look at the others and see Blake holding the man from the back with her blade around his neck. 'She really needs to stop doing that.'

Finding her number, I call her and wait for her to respond.

"Seth? Where are you, Yang is upset with-"

BOOM!

I turn to the sound of the explosion and see Blake get sent back.

'Shit!' "Ruby! Shipment Docks! Come quick! I need to go!" I ended the call hoping that she at least got it. I jump off the building and head in the direction of the others.

'Sigh... I hate Mondays.'

The man continues to fire towards Blake missing every shot at her. With Blake being able to avoid his shots at her, using her semblance to get some distance between her and the man.

The man began to walk in the direction of Blake. However, he was stopped by a banana peel landing on the man's hat, and Sun jumped on top of him and rolled away.

As the man got up from the ground. A bullhead hovers over him and its doors open, and out jumps more White Fang people landing next to the man. The man pointed his cane at Sun.

However, I took exception to that. Jumping from cargo to cargo to head to them, I jump off from one of them and drop-kick the man on his back, sending him far from Sun.

"Hey Sun, what did I miss?" I asked rolling to him and quickly getting up.

"Not much, nice kick by the way."

"Thanks, I have been practicing that for the past three-" I get cut off by one of the grunts screaming at us.

"Human! Get him!" The White Fang Grunts charged at us and the fight was on.

'Okay, multiple people charging at me, check. They want to kill me, check. Well then remember what Mom told me... No mercy.'

Avoiding the first person to get close to me I send a kick toward his stomach so hard that I send him far away from us. Sun Blocked and struck his first opponent and quickly moved on to the next one using his tail as well, he sent multiple strikes at them dealing them with ease. Two more headed my way and I parried the first person's punch towards me and grabbed him by the arm dragging him with me and blocking the second person's attack from with his teammate I then let go of the limping person and sent another kick towards the one who attacked his friend.

As more White Fang began to surround us I quickly brought out my weapon and began to block more and more attacks from the ones using swords. Sun seeing this also brought out his weapon and began to attack multiple grunts and deal with them with ease.

As the fight continued, the man began getting back up on his feet and looked at the two boys fighting. He raised his cane toward them and opened fire. Sun hearing the shot raised his head and blocked the attack with his staff. Out of nowhere Blake came up from behind Sun and charged the man and began to attack him.

Seeing this I looked at Sun. "Go help Blake, I'll deal with the rest."

"Are you sure, They look like they want to kill you."

"Well, it won't be the first time they tried too. Just go." With a nod, Sun heads towards Blake to back her up in the fight. Meanwhile, I just turned back to the White Fang and looked at them ready to continue to fight, However, I raised my hand toward my heart and tapped it.

"Now let's begin."

SAINT MOTEL - A Good Song Never Dies

As the first Fang member got close to me, I raised my weapon to block the attack, I then shot it making us both spin from the recoil and I sent a punch towards his face breaking his mask in the progress. The next two came at me at once and I split my weapon apart blocking both strikes, I then kicked the one to my left in his knees making him fall to the ground and tapped him with the body of Favillae making him go unconscious. I move my attention to the other one and slam Favillae in the person's body making him wince in pain and fall to the ground.

As more and more people came toward me, I continued to block and parry their attacks. They had their numbers on me, and that is something that I was not good at dealing with, but they were all novices at best. Their attacks were sloppy, and they had no coordination. It almost felt like they were Jaune level in combat. After dealing with the last of them I turned my attention back to Blake and Sun and saw the man point his cane at Sun ready to shoot him.

So, I raised Favillae at him and shot before he could. Hearing the shot he blocks it and looks at me. I then charged at him, and we both began to fight each other.

The man for the most part is the skilled one out of all of us. His attacks were precise and would land their mark if you weren't fast enough to block them. However, I had that advantage over him. My reaction time really is improving since Mom was the one who taught me. So, when I saw an opening, I took it and struck him on his stomach. making him step back.

"Sigh... You kids are really annoying... Shouldn't you be asleep? Getting ready for tomorrow's big game?"

"Funny coming from the man wearing eyeliner. What, did the black parade miss your stop?"

The man narrows his eyes at me and raises his cane towards me and I raise my weapon at him. However, we both stopped when we heard.

"Hey!" We both turned in the direction of the voice and saw Ruby on top of a building with Penny next to her.

"Oh, Hello Red!" The man said to Ruby "Isn't it past your bedtime?" This is where I made my first mistake. One that Mom told me about.

'Never take your eyes off your opponent.'

Cause the moment I did I was shot by the man and his cane. I was lucky enough to raise my sword up just in time but the shot made me lose my weapon and I fell right to the ground in pain.

"Ow! Fuck that hurts..." I said as I looked up and saw Penny jump from the roof and onto the ground level with her blades out and ready to attack.

I got back up to my feet and saw the man running in my direction. So I got in front of him and raised my hands to stop him.

"Really Musicbox... Sigh... Kids these days just don't know when to quit." He raises his cane again and fires towards me. I dodged around the shot and made my way toward him, fist at the ready, and as I got close to him, I attacked. He blocks and parries my attacks, every attack that I send him he was able to block it with no problem. I began to change my approach to the fight and began to send kicks his way and by some luck, I landed a few good ones but eventually, he grabbed me by my leg with his cane and sent me to a container next to us. Making me slam on it hard and fall to the ground.

"Fuck, my back." I winze in pain at the slam.

"Too bad kid, maybe in a few years you might even stand a chance. But right now you are still just a kid." With that, he began to walk away from me and head in the direction of a bullhead. As I got back up to my feet I tried one more time to rush him to not let him escape but with my back in pain. He getting farther away from me.

'Think Seth, think...' I began to concentrate on the song and remember a few words.

"You Don't even Know me." The wind around my arms began to pick up and with all of my strength, I threw a wind blade to the man hitting his back.

A pond receiving the hit, the man turns in anger over the attack, and I see his eyes widen at me. He sees me with wind around my arms and legs and his next words make me stop in place.

...

"What?" I said to him and saw him turn around quickly and enter the bullhead. Leaving the area and flying away from this mess that we all cause.

After an hour the police came by and began to investigate the situation at hand. Penny really did make a mess of the place with her weapon. It kind of makes me wonder how lucky I was when I stopped her back them in Mantle. But other than that everyone looks to be safe and sound.

So here we all were. Sitting on some boxes Ruby, Penny, Sun, Blake and I waiting to be let go and head home. Honestly, today was already an eventful day. I just want it to end now.

I looked at everyone here and saw them all having a down look on their faces and I then saw Ruby get up and head towards Yang and Weiss who just arrived here.

...

Oh, Yang looks mad... Fuck.

"Look Weiss it's not what you think, she explained the whole thing you see she doesn't actually wear a bow she has kitty ears and they are actually kind of cute." Ruby tried to calm the situation with Weiss but Weiss just passed by her and headed directly toward Blake.

Blake soon gets up from her seat and goes to meet Weiss face-to-face. "Weiss I want you to know that I'm no longer associated with the White Fang. Back when I was-"

"Stop." Weiss soon stops Blake from continuing. "Do you have any idea of how long we've been searching for you?" Blake looks ashamed to know the answer. "Twelve hours. That means I had twelve hours to think about this."

I feel like that's the longest you've ever done anything.

"And in those twelve hours. I decided... I don't care."

'What a miracle!' I thought to myself I turned to look around and saw that Penny was heading towards a car. I see her looking back at me and sending me a sad smile my way. I just simply wave at her, and she nods my way as she enters the car.

"Yeah! Team RWBY is back together!" Ruby cheered at her reunited team.

I then See Weiss point at Sun. "I'm still not quite sure about you." Which made Sun chuckle a bit. I then see Weiss look at me.

'Oh god, please! At least ignore me and go with your team! I don't need another person-'

"Thank you."

...

I turn to look at her and I rub my ears a bit. "What?"

She takes a deep breath and says it once again. "Thank you. For helping my team."

I looked at the other's reaction and looked back at Weiss. I wanted to comment, but I really didn't have anything on this.

I simply shrugged my shoulders and said. "Meh, no problem."

"Speaking of problem." Oh no. Yang steps forward, looks at me straight to my face, and removes my sunglasses from me.

"Don't ever lie to me again... Got it." Yang said to me as I saw her eyes turn red. I nod my head in agreement, and she steps back and smiles again. "Good." I then see her put my sunglasses on her and look back at me. "Keeping them for the rest of the week. This is for lying to us." She sends me a smirk and I just roll my eyes at that.

Honestly, at this point, I'm just happy that I at least got off with a simple punishment.

"Students." We all turned to the new voice and saw Miss Goodwitch walking towards us... And she had a face that told us that we were in big trouble...

How can things get any worse...

"Wait? Seth, you're blind?" Sun asked me and I just slam my hand over my face.

"God damn it Sun."

In an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of Vale, a man walked inside with a case in his hand. The man places the case on a table and breathes a sigh of relief.

"Another crazy night... With one failed attempt." The man reaches inside his jacket pulls out a cigar and lights it. However, he notices a person standing on the edge of the building looking at him.

"You're still up? I'm surprised usually you're asleep at this time. What, worried about me?"

The person in question walks towards the man and into the light. A small girl with mixed hair of pink white and brown looked at the man in worry. The girl began to move her hands to communicate with the man.

"Nothing just a failure attempted on a heist today. The animals couldn't deal with a bunch of kids, so I had to step in and play sitter." As the man continued to smoke, the girl just looked at him not buying the whole story. She continued to communicate with him trying to get more info on him.

"Sigh... It's nothing, just..." The man takes another hit of his cigar and breathes out more smoke.

"Tell me... Do you believe in ghosts?" The man said to the girl, giving her a confused look. "Cause right now... I feel like they might be hunting me."

"How very disappointing Roman. For a man to believe in such childish ideas." The man turned to the new voice and saw a woman enter with two other people behind her.

The last thing the man thought was...

'Just keep smiling.'
