A rap at the door drew all of their attention. Waverly gave a glance at the clock and nodded to himself before calling out.

"Enter."

As the door opened, Napoleon smiled slightly as Mark came in.

"You sent for me, Mister Waverly?"

"Indeed, Mister Slate. High time you were partnered for the field."

It was very easy to see Mark was pleased about that prospect, then Waverly gestured.

"Miss Dancer - this is Agent Mark Slate. Mister Slate? Miss April Dancer. You are going to be partnered in the field."

There were a quick series of expressions on Mark's face.
