Heart beats fast
Colors and promises
How to be brave?
How can I love when I'm afraid to fall?
But watching you stand alone
All of my doubt suddenly goes away somehow
The doors of the church swung open revealing Lucy, her small hand clasped securely in Kyle's larger one. Both wore matching smiles, brimming with excitement and innocence as they made their way down the aisle. The boy held a cushion adorned with the rings, a look of solemn responsibility mingled with his youthful enthusiasm. Their steps echoed softly as they approached the altar, where Isaac stood waiting, his eyes shining with pride and affection.
One step closer
Following behind them were Jayden and Gabrielle, their presence adding to the radiant atmosphere of joy and anticipation. When they reached the altar, she planted a sisterly kiss on her brother's cheek before taking her place on his right side. Jayden, in turn, enveloped Isaac in a warm embrace before positioning himself beside him, his eyes filled with excitement and pride for his best friend.
I have died every day waiting for you
Darling, don't be afraid
I have loved you for a thousand years
I'll love you for a thousand more
The procession continued with graceful elegance as Asher and Emily glided down the aisle. Following them were Kurt, Blaine, Santana and Brittany, who walked side by side, their movements synchronized in perfect harmony, as they made their way towards the altar. Close behind them came Charlotte and her boyfriend, their smiles bright and infectious as they walked hand in hand. As the groomsmen and bridesmaids took their positions at the altar, the air was filled with anticipation and excitement.
Time stands still
Beauty in all she is
I will be brave
I will not let anything take away
What's standing in front of me
Every breath, every hour has come to this
As the music swelled and the doors of the church swung open, all eyes turned to Quinn as she made her entrance. Time seemed to stand still as she stepped into the aisle, her arm linked with her father's, a vision of ethereal beauty that took Isaac's breath away. Her gown cascaded around her in a cascade of ivory satin and lace, each delicate detail accentuating her graceful silhouette. The soft glow of evening sun danced across her features, casting a luminous halo around her golden locks and illuminating the sparkle in her emerald eyes.
One step closer
As she drew nearer, Isaac's emotions threatened to overwhelm him. The enormity of the moment washed over him like a tidal wave. Here she was, the love of his life, walking towards him to join their lives together in holy matrimony. Tears streamed down his cheeks unchecked, his heart overflowing with love and adoration. They had endured hardships and challenges along the way, but in the end, they had found their way back to each other, just as his mother had predicted.
I have died every day waiting for you
Darling, don't be afraid
I have loved you for a thousand years
I'll love you for a thousand more
As Quinn stepped forward, her hand gently clasped around her father's arm, she felt a rush of emotions flood through her. Tears welled up in her eyes, threatening to spill over as she looked at him. Her heart pounded in her chest, each beat echoing the intensity of her emotions. With each step she took, she felt the weight of the journey they had been on together, the challenges they had faced, and the love that had sustained them through it all.
And all along I believed I would find you
Time has brought your heart to me
I have loved you for a thousand years
I'll love you for a thousand more
They reached the altar, and Isaac extended his trembling hand to Quinn, his eyes shining with emotion. Russel, teary-eyed, stepped back, his voice filled with emotion as he offered his heartfelt advice to the young couple. "You take care of each other, you hear me?"
He nodded solemnly, his gaze unwavering as he met his eyes. "For as long as I live and breathe," he vowed, his voice steady despite the tremble in his hand. He released his daughter's arm, his heart swelling with pride and love as he took his place beside Judy, who was dabbing at her eyes with a handkerchief. As he glanced back at the young couple, he couldn't help but smile through his own tears. Isaac's gaze was fixed on Quinn, his expression mirroring the same love and adoration that he had seen in Jacob's eyes when he looked at Sophia.
"Dear friends," began the officiant, his voice filling the air with warmth and solemnity, "here we have gathered this afternoon to unite this man and this woman in holy matrimony..."
"You may now kiss the bride."
Isaac turned to behold his wife—the woman who had captured his heart, mind, and soul. How surreal it felt to finally call her his wife, to stand before their loved ones and proclaim their everlasting commitment to each other.
Gently pulling her close, he wrapped his arm around her waist, their eyes locking in a shared moment of unspoken understanding. She was breathtaking, radiant with a beauty that transcended words, and he felt a surge of gratitude for the privilege of standing beside her. He found himself falling in love with her all over again, her essence captivating him in a way that left him breathless and dizzy with wonder.
Lost in the ethereal beauty of his bride, he was momentarily ensnared in a trance until Quinn's touch on his face brought him back to reality. He blinked, suddenly aware of their audience, who watched with amused smiles and twinkling eyes.
"Sorry, baby. What were you saying? Got distracted by your beauty. You look absolutely stunning."
A warm giggle escaped her lips, her laughter filling him with a sense of warmth and joy. "You're not too bad yourself, Sunshine," she teased, her eyes dancing with affection.
"Just kiss her already, mate. I'm hungry."
Jayden's words, laced with a hint of impatience and humor, echoed through the church and he found himself on the receiving end of two swift slaps on the head—one from his mother and another from his girlfriend.
Ignoring his best friend's antics, Isaac turned his attention back to Quinn, "I think it's time we give the crowd what they want," he quipped, a playful smile tugging at his lips. "Give them a little envy, you know?"
He raised his hand to cradle her jawline, his touch feather-light against her skin. His fingers traced the curve of her cheek, his gaze drank in every detail of her face as though committing it to memory for eternity.
Quinn's breath caught in her throat as she felt the gentle pressure of his hand against her face, her senses heightened by the anticipation of their impending kiss. Her eyelids fluttered closed, shutting out the world around her as she surrendered herself to the moment, to the overwhelming rush of emotion that coursed through her veins.
And then, in a heartbeat that seemed to stretch into infinity, their lips touched, a soft, sweet collision that sent sparks flying through the air. It was a kiss filled with a lifetime of longing, a promise of forever sealed with the meeting of their lips.
Time seemed to stand still as they lost themselves in each other, their bodies pressed together in a fervent embrace. The world around them faded into insignificance. When they finally pulled away, breathless and flushed with emotion, their friends and family erupted into applause.
Isaac's voice was a husky whisper as he leaned in close, "I love you, Ms. Hargrave," he murmured, his forehead touching hers in a tender caress.
"I love you too, Mr. Hargrave."
Quinn's gaze drifted over to where Isaac danced with Lucy, a tender smile gracing her lips as she observed the scene before her. It was a sight that filled her heart with warmth, reminding her of the countless times they had witnessed Sophia and Jacob dance in the Hargraves' living room. They had always exuded an undeniable aura of love and devotion, and she had harbored a secret longing to experience that kind of connection with someone special. This was what she had wanted all those years ago, and in this moment, it felt like her dreams had finally come to fruition.
Amidst the joyful chaos of the wedding reception, Santana's voice pierced through the crowd, drawing her attention. She turned to see her best friend, a slightly tipsy grin adorning her face as she stumbled over to her side, Brittany trailing behind to lend her support.
"Hey, Cap," Her words slurred together, a drunken grin stretching across her face.
"Santana," she replied, her tone indulgent, "seems like you're having a blast."
"S'great. I'm so so happy for you, Quinnie. I-I love you. Like a lot."
Quinn's eyebrow arched in playful skepticism, though her heart warmed at her friend's unabashed display of affection. She glanced at Brittany, who merely shrugged with a mischievous twinkle in her eye, silently urging her to embrace the moment.
"I love you too, Santana."
"And you're...you're about to love me more because...because the girls and I have a little something for you."
"What have you done now?
"It's more of a present for Lover Boy, but you know," Santana continued, her smile widening into a devilish grin before she thrust a small box in her direction. Quinn eyed the box suspiciously, she knew all too well the unpredictable nature of Santana's gifts. They could either be either outrageous or downright embarrassing.
Carefully, and ensuring that no prying eyes were upon her, she lifted the lid, only to feel a rush of heat flood her cheeks as she beheld the contents within. Quickly snapping the lid shut, her expression transformed into one of incredulous disbelief.
"What the fuck?"
"Oh, don't be such a prude, Quinnie. S'not like Lover Boy and you haven't gotten down and dirty."
"There's like two more in your suitcase."
"You went through my suitcase?"
"I've investigated every drawer in your house, so are you really surprised I checked out what you had in your suitcase?"
"The thing is," Quinn murmured, her fingers pinching the bridge of her nose in a futile attempt to ward off the impending headache. It wasn't the alcohol coursing through her veins that threatened to split her skull, but rather the mounting stress of the situation at hand. "I'm not going to wear this. It can't even be considered underwear. It's all lace and looks damn itchy."
"Just think of Isaac," Brittany urged, her words infused with a sense of encouragement. "He'll like it. Just like he liked your pink hair."
She bit her lip as she glanced over at Isaac, who met her gaze with a raised eyebrow and a curious tilt of his head. She shifted her attention back to the box in her hands and begrudgingly admitted to herself that they were right. Isaac had always shown a subtle interest in lingerie during their shopping trips, his gaze lingering on the delicate lace and intricate designs. Though he had never vocalized his preferences, Quinn couldn't deny the thrill of anticipation that fluttered in her chest at the thought of surprising him.
"Fine."
Isaac's smile widened as he felt Quinn's warmth enveloping him, her body pressed against his as they swayed gently on the deserted dance floor. The echoes of laughter and well-wishes still lingered in the air with the teasing remarks and raucous jokes that had accompanied their farewells, he couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment settle over him, a warmth that seemed to radiate from her presence alone.
"You tired, baby?"he murmured, his voice a gentle caress as he leaned in to press a tender kiss against her temple. He cherished these private moments, where it was just the two of them cocooned in their own little world, enveloped by a sense of love and contentment that seemed to radiate from every corner of the room.
"I have a surprise for you."
With a sudden burst of energy, she seized his hand and tugged him along, her laughter echoing through the dimly lit hallways of the old Hargrave farmhouse. He followed eagerly, his amusement evident in the crinkle of his eyes and the easy curve of his lips. He would follow Quinn anywhere, he knew, drawn to her magnetic spirit like a moth to a flame.
"Where are you taking me?" he chuckled softly as they came to a stop in front of what he knew to be the master bedroom.
"Just remember how much your wife loves you."
"Wh-?" Isaac's protest was cut short as her hands tangled in his hair, pulling him closer with a fierce urgency that sent shivers down his spine. He stumbled backward, his back colliding with the cold surface of the door as her lips ignited a trail of fire along his jaw and down his neck, each kiss leaving him breathless and wanting more.
"W-Wait," he managed to breathe out between ragged gasps, his heart hammering in his chest as desire surged through him like a tidal wave. "I-Inside, baby," he urged, his voice thick with longing as he fumbled blindly for the door handle.
"Hurry up," Quinn urged him, her voice husky with need as she deftly unzipped her own dress, the fabric falling away to reveal the tantalizing curve of her body beneath.
"I'm usually the impatient one. How much have you drunk?"
Once inside, Isaac's mouth descended upon Quinn's with longing and desire. She felt the heat pooling as they stumbled backward, her legs hitting the edge of the bed with a soft thud. Breaking the kiss, he started trailed hot, open-mouthed kisses along her neck, his teeth grazing against her skin as he found a sensitive spot that elicited a low, guttural moan from her lips.
"You look so hot in all that fucking green lace, baby," he groaned, dropping his head against her neck, his breath coming in ragged gasps against her skin. "I love you. I know how much you hate it, but God, you look amazing. Can't wait for you to have my babies."
Without waiting for permission, her nimble fingers made quick work of unbuttoning her husband's shirt, her movements mirrored by his eager anticipation as he met her halfway, aiding in shedding the garment until it slipped off his shoulders with a soft rustle of fabric. For a fleeting moment, they stood there, their eyes locked in a wordless exchange that spoke volumes. Their gazes shimmered with unspoken affection, chests rising and falling in sync, cheeks flushed with the fervor of their passion, and lips swollen from their fervent kisses.
"Hey, are you okay?" Isaac's voice was a gentle murmur, his touch feather-light as he brushed a calloused thumb against her cheek, careful not to overwhelm her with his own weight. "We don't have to do anything."
A soft sob caught in her throat as she shook her head, her fingers tangling in the damp strands of her hair as she pulled him closer, "I want to," she whispered, her voice husky with desire as she buried her fingers in his damp hair and pressed their lips together. He slowly eased himself inside her, waiting for her to accommodate him and when she nodded, he began to move, his hips snapping with a controlled urgency that sent waves of pleasure coursing through her body. He peppered her skin with kisses, whispering praises and how much he loved her as they moved together in a frenzy of passion and longing. With each thrust, Quinn's nails dug into his back, her body arching into his feeling herself drawing closer to the edge.
"Look at me, baby."
Quinn forced her heavy eyelids open, her breath catching in her throat as she locked eyes with her husband, their gazes ablaze with passion and love. In that moment, time seemed to stand still, the world falling away to leave only the two of them. Hazel met green and in two deep thrusts, waves of pleasure crashed over them. Her hand threaded through his hair, her touch a soothing balm against the fevered heat of their bodies. Feeling blissfully tired yet exhilaratingly in love, Isaac allowed his body to relax atop his wife's, his heartbeat echoing in rhythm with hers as he nuzzled against her neck. But his moment of peace was short-lived as her protest pierced the stillness of the room.
"Sunshine, get off, you're crushing me."
A sheepish grin spread across his face as he obediently rolled off of her and pulled Quinn into his embrace, his heart overflowing with a sense of completeness that only her presence could bring.
"I love you, Quinn. You and Lucy are my whole world."
She smiled, her fingers tracing delicate patterns along his chest as she listened to the gentle rhythm of his snores lulling her into a peaceful state of contentment. Pressing a kiss to the top of her head, she whispered in a sleepy, contented tone, "We love you too."
