My first language is not English. I don't own my hero academia or Hunter X Hunter
I woke up to the alarm on the side of my bed. For some reason, I had a real one instead of using the phone. After I silenced the alarm, I looked up at the ceiling and thought about yesterday.
I feel like I could have done better, but with everything that happened. I can't think of what I could have done differently. I looked at my watch and wondered why I was getting up so early on a weekend. Then I remembered Izuku's training with All Might and I promised that I would be with him.
I got up and grabbed some good clothes to wear on the beach, before I went into the shower. In the shower, I went through my plan to defeat All For One.
Ok, step one. Making sure Izuku gets One For All... yeah, I've already failed at step one. In hindsight, maybe I shouldn't have taught Izuku Nen and changed his outlook. It would be better if I waited to tell him about Nen and was just friends with him first. And then after he got One For All, I would tell him about Nen and he will be my successor as well.
But it's too late now. Inasa has seen Small Might and Izuku said no to One For All. There's nothing I can do about it. All I can hope for is to make sure everything else will go like cannon.
I got out of the shower and dried off. After I put on the clothes I chose earlier, I went back to my room. I took my hairbrush and infuse it with my Nen. While I was brushing, I went to the kitchen. Onii-chan had made breakfast which was now on the table. I'd asked him about it so Dad didn't have to do it, even if he insisted on at least helping with it.
Step two is that Izuku is in U.A. The anime's name is My Hero Academia. Most of it is in the Academia. It won't be that hard. I don't care what my classmates say, if Mineta, the tail guy and Mr. talk to animals can do it then Izuku can do it with Nen. What I'm worried about is Ochaco and the U.S.J. incident. Ochaco I think will be fine, I don't think the U.A. teachings won't let her get crushed. So the only thing I have to worry about is the U.S.J. I can only train him enough and hope it goes well. At least he's the protagonist so that should help him.
I went to the counter to the sink and thanked Onii-chan for the breakfast and checked that I had everything in my bag. I walked out the door, and started walking towards Dagoba Municipal Beach.
Step three is more complicated, but I'll have to improvise. But my Hatsu is unusable right now. But it shouldn't take long. And I'm a little careful about what kind of interest I'm going to attract. All For One will definitely notice it. But I should start now that the anime has begun.
I was interrupted from my thoughts when I came to the familiar shore. I felt for Auras nearby and noticed All Might stupidly big Aura. As I approached, I saw a familiar sight. All Might sitting on a refrigerator while Izuku pulls as hard as he can with a rope to pull the refrigerator.
"Hey, hey! This is such a comfy fridge to sit on!", said All Might, while he enjoyed the situation a little too much.
As I approached Izuku he fell down on the ground. His Aura started to leave him as he forgot to do Ten. Hey, this might be good training for this.
"If you could move it even a little, it would be a little easier."
"Well yeah, I mean, you weigh 274 kilograms, right?"
"No, I lost weight, so I'm only 255 kilograms now, in this form."
"This form? How much do you change when you transform?", I asked as I approached.
"Oh, Tomoe sen-chan".
"Young Fukumoto. Nice to see you here. Young Midoriya couldn't wait to start, so I hope it was ok with you that we started."
"Inga problem. Hur går det?"
"Um, I'm not sure." Izuku turned towards All Might. "Anyway, why am I dragging trash at the beach park?"
"It's cause you know. Well, if you were to change your mind and decide to take One For All, you'd be a proper vessel," he said and started taking pictures with his phone.
"Uh, what do you mean? And why do you take pictures of me?"
"I'm talking about your body. My Quirk, One For All, is the fullest physical ability of many people gathered into one. An unprepared body cannot inherit it fully. The limbs will come off and the body will explode."
"The limbs will what?!", Izuku screamed in concern before remembering that he had said no to One For All.
"Don't worry, young Midoriya. That's only if you agree to become a One For All vessel. But if you change your mind. Not that I'm saying you can't do it. But if you were to accept One For All, I'll train you to that you can withstand the tremendous power of it."
"Then… I'm picking up trash in order to train my body…?"
All Might replied with a thumbs up and a "Yes!" in English. "But that's not all. After some research on the internet yesterday, I discovered that of this beach park's coast has been like this for many years." Said All Might and went up to the refrigerator he was sitting on. " Huh, that's weird. There are fist marks on this refrigerator".
Both me and Izuku looked at the refrigerator. It had a lot of fist impressions, as if someone had hit it... It was me.
After my fight with Bakugo, I realized that I should practice with the Enhancement Type. I need something to try and went here and punched and kicked things. And apparently, this refrigerator were one of them.
"Huh, someone must have practiced here too," All Might said, unaware that it was me.
"Yeah, anyway. I know what you mean. For some reason, because of the currents, objects drift here a lot, and people take advantage of that to hide their illegal dumping… The local residents don't come near here, either."
I looked out over the beach. I remember how I came here by myself to train my Nen. Mostly Ko. Not all Nen Techniques can be used indoors like the ones I've taught Izuku. I need to speed up his training a bit. Not only because he has less time now with All Might training, but also this place will disappear. No one around and a lot of things no one cares if it breaks.
I was interrupted from my thoughts when All Might smashed the fridge and made a sun that was still coming up visible. I blinked in annoyance at the light that was now in my eyes.
" You will restore the horizon for this whole section! That is you're first step toward becoming a Hero!"
I watched with a bit of amusement when Izuku realized that he was going to have to clean up the whole beach.
"Young Midoriya, you want to go to U.A., right?", All Might asked.
"Um, yes. We're planning to go to U.A."
We?
"I want to go there because it's where you went! So if I'm going to go… I thought… it would definitely have to be U.A.s Hero course." Izuku said blushing, obviously fantasizing about it.
"You're a go-getter fanboy!". Declare All Might and Izuku blushing harder.
"And you young Fukumoto. Why are you seeking to go to U.A."
"Oh, I'm not going to the U.A."
"huh?"
"Huh!"
Izuku and All Might looked at me in surprise.
"B-B-But U.A. has the best Hero course in all of Japan!" screamed almost Izuku. "If you're going to be a Hero, it has to be U.A.!"
I tilted my head to the side, unsure about his logic. "But I'm not going to be a Hero."
"Eh?" With those words, he turns into stone, and cracks cover him one second later…. Living in an anime world is weird.
"Um, I see. Um, is there any reason you don't want to be a Hero. Most people of your age want to become one or at least give it a try?"
"It's not something I'm interested in, or something I want to become," I said, looking at Izuku, his soul about to leave his petrified body through his mouth.
Plus, with the way my plan is going, I can't get on All For One's radar. If I go with the Hero course with Izuku when I'm classified as Quirkless, there's a chance he'll keep track on me. I have to wait for the fight with All Might and All For One. Actully, when I think about it, Izuku and his classmates were there. And when I think about it, I made the plan when I was five. Before I met Izuku. Yes, it's better if I'm in U.A. and go with him when he's going to save Bakugo. Then I avoid all the problems with plan A.
"Ok, I'm going to go to U.A.," I said as I poked at Izuku's soul. It felt like a balloon made of marshmallow. When I said my words, his soul went into his body and stopped being petrified.
"Really?" asked Izuku as he cried and looked at me with a hopeful look.
What I was going to say was in the Department of General Education, but it became very difficult to say it when he looked like that.
"Ah, then I'll take it that you go for the General Course then? Young Fukumoto."
Oh thanks god." Yes All Might," I replied and I turned to him.
"Good. Study hard, Nezu doesn't make it easy to get in. It's going double for you Young Midoriya".
"Yes, All Might," he replied as he wiped away his tears.
All Might nodded and turned towards the sunrise." It's not something you can do without a Quirk. But there's something about you that makes me want to give you a chance, but it's going to be hard. But what isn't a Hero a something that aims to do the impossible in order to save others. And U.A.'s is the hardest Hero and General course to get into. In other words..." All Might did dramatic pause. And Izuku realized what he meant
"In the ten months until U.A.'s entrance exam, I have to complete the training by then!", he said anxiously while I noted there was only ten months left.
"That's where this comes in!",All Might said as he held out a couple of papers." I came up with this Aim to Pass: American Dream Plan!"
Both of us looked closer at the paper, and Izuku swallowed when he saw it.
"It's a training plan to help you finish cleaning up the beach. I'll have you follow this in every aspect of you life!"
"Even sleep time is included" Izuku said as Hang went through the plan. "Wait, what about Tomoe's training?"
"Oh, I think we can work around that. Oh, even rest days are included," I said as I planned when we can train in the head.
" Frankly, this is a super hard schedule. Are you sure you can follow it and your friend training?"
In response, he began to smile. "Of course. As you said, a Hero try to do the impossible for others. I just have to work many times harder than everyone else."
"Are you sure you don't want my Quirk?"
"Yes"
"Ok... Well. let's get started!". And with that, Izuku's training Arc began.
It was at the end of the day. Izuku had been training from sunrise to sunset. It had started off well for him, until I told him he could just use Ten, and Zetsu when he was going to rest. Ren strengthens the body and I want to build the muscles instead of letting them just be useful with Nen. But of course it means that I now have to carry Izuku on my back. He uses Zetsu so it's hard to notice him, but also so he has energy when we're in there. Because Zetsu is having all his Aura in his body so he recovers faster, and he will need that for what we are going to do.
When I arrived at the door of Midoriya's apartment I let Izuku off me and let him get his breath back a bit more before we opened the door. As we walked in, we heard Inko's voice.
"Oh, Izuku? Is that you?"
"Yes, Mom. I will take a shower. Oh, Tomoe's here too." Izuku walked away and I decided to stay in the living room and wait for him to be done.
"So, he was pretty sweaty. What have you two been up to?" asked Inko with a curious tone.
" The U.A. Entrance Exam is in ten months. So Izuku trains extra hard so he can take it and succeed."
"Ah, can I ask what you guys trained?" she asked in a way that made me feel like she wanted a specific answer.
"Um... Yes, at Dagoba Municipal Beach and we-"
"The Beach?!" Inko stopped listening to me and started smiling and fantasizing about something.
Eh? Why is she acting like that? She can't believe we were on a date; doesn't she know what Dagoba Beach looks like?
I let her fantasize for a while, reluctant to hear what more questions she was going to ask. But when I heard the shower stop running, I decided to prepare for training. "Hey, Izuku is going to be thirsty. Can you put some glass of water in his room?"
"Oh yes. You're right." Inko set off to prepare the water while I began to wonder what Izuku had said to her. I don't know or remember what Izuku said to her in cannon. He can't have said hey mom. The Number One Hero Are going to train me for U.A.
I went into Izuku's room with Inko and sat down at the small table in the corner. I put down my bag I've been wearing since this morning. Not long after, Izuku came into the room in clean clothes. Before he had a T-shirt with the text All M, but now he has one with the text Plus U. I wondered if they come in pairs?
"Oh, uh".
"It's time to take the next step in your Nen training. All Might is right; now is the time you'll taking the first step to your dream."
Izuku's face became full of hope and curiosity. "Yes Tomoe sensei". He sat down at the table and took a class of water. I, on the other hand, filled the glass and took something out of my bag. Izuku looked at it with interest, but was confused when he said it was a leaf.
"A leaf?"
"A leaf".
I was amused by his reaction and instead of explaining, I just put the leaf on the water in the glass. Now I could really see how his brain was working double the time.
"Um… Tomoe-chan, What's that?"
" Your Water Divination test".
"Water, huh?"
" Everyone in the world, both those with and without Quirk has an Aura Type. Your Aura Type affects how you will use your Nen".
"Aura Typs? "What are they?" asked Izuku, notebook and pen in hand.
"There are six of them. Enhancement, Transmutation, Emission, Conjuration, Manipulation and Specialization. Depending on what your type is, the leaf and water will react. For example, if you're an Enhancer, the volume of the water changes."
Izuku's pen traveled across the paper as he not only scribbled down what I said, but also his thoughts on it. Before he could go too deep into it, I pushed the glass in front of him. "Put your hands around the glass and the cover it with your Nen".
"Um, yes sensei". Izuku put his hands on the side of the glass.
"Don't touch it, just let your Aura touch the glass."
"Yes sensei". Izuku's Aura covered the glass. Both of us watched and waited for something to happen. But in the end the leaf moved to the side? What?
I blinked a couple of times while Izuku moved his hands around and watched in fascination as the leaf moved.
Eh? He's not an Enhancer? I realized I was biased. Both Izuku and Gon have green hair, are heroic, kind, protagonists, and have strength-based powers. Damn, you can't convince me that Izuku isn't inspired by Gon. And with how used I am to watching Izuku Smash his opponents. yes, I should have been prepared for this. Wait, what is his Aura Type then? Let me see, he makes the leaf move...
" You are a Manipulator!"
"Eh?". Izuku looked up to me from playing with the leaf.
"Your Aura Type is Manipulator. You can use your Aura to control something. animals, people, things, even yourself. I also think Manipulator is particularly good with Shu, which explains how you did it before."
Izuku looked at me with question marks behind him. "I have so many questions."
"So ask me, I don't have to go home yet... I think".
"You mentioned Shu before, what is it?"
"Oh, it's one of the Advanced Techniques. First it's Zetsu, Ren and Ten, and technically Hatsu, but we can probably train both at the same time. The Advanced Techniques are often combined between Zetsu, Ren and Ten. Shu is a variation of Ten where you cover an object in Ten to reinforce it or protect it."
"Yes, I did that."
"Yes, I saw it. I wondered how you did it, but if you're a manipulator, it's explained how you managed it."
"Why?"
"Because you need to use Nen to manipulate something. But we'll go through those in your Hatsu training. I only need to know what your Aura Type was."
"Yes, um. What's the other thing. Aura Type, I mean."
"Well, Enhancer can use aura to strengthen or increase the natural abilities of an object or one's own body. Transmuter can change the properties of their aura to mimic something else or replicate specific attributes. Like natural elements, man-made substances, and even animals, among other things. Emitter has an easier time separating their aura from their body, so long range Aura attack. Conjurer creating a physical object out of one's aura. Like my phone".
"So, you're a Conjurer?"
"No"
"Eh, but you said-"
"You can use the Aura Type other than your own, but with worse quality." I took out a piece of paper that I had in my bag. It had the Type map like in the anime with the percent all types can use. "As you can see, if you are a Manipulator, you can only use 80% of Emission and 60% Enhancement. And with Transmutation on the opposite side, only 40%".
Izuku looked at the paper with stars in his eyes. "Can I keep these?"
"Yes."
Izuku frowned and asked a question. "If you're not a Conjurer, then what are you?"
"Ah, I didn't go through it yet. I'm a Specialist."
" Speci-alist?" Izuku said the word slowly. Probably trying to figure out what that means. But before he asked, I answered the question I guessed he was going to say.
" A Specialist do not belong to any of the other five categories, making it the most vague Nen type. If one would guess what a Nen user can do, so knowing they were a Specialist would not be any help. "
"Oh, so it's a cast-all for those who don't fit the normal ones. Like a Quirk that does not belong to the Emitter, Transformation or Mutant. It gets a little confusing with the Emitter Type Aura and Quirks."
"Yep, it's the rarest type of Aura Type. If you look at the paper, you can see that even though Manipulator and Conjurer are next to each other, it can't use 80%, but 0%. It's really a special one."
Izuku looked at me with a look he usually gives to All Might, until he frowned as he thought hard about a question. "Hey, so you're Specialist. What's your... Hatsu? When you called the phone?"
Oh fuck. That was something I realized after I showed him my Hatsu. I have to explain what it does, and I don't know how he's going to react to my ability.
Aha. Ok, and there will be some more talking after this so I'm going to stop here. First, we didn't go to all of her plans for All For One. Then it was the beginning of All Might's training and he's trying to sell One For All like a car salesman.
Last is the beginning of Izuku Nen training and he is a Manipulator. Was it what you thought? It took me some thinking about it because he has some traits that belong to Enhancer in Hisoka's Personality Test.

Enhancers are simple and determined. Most of them never lie, hide nothing, and are very straightforward in their actions or in their thinking. Their words and actions are often dominated by their feelings. They are generally very selfish and focused on their goals. This is reflected in their Nen as Enhancers typically rely on simple and uncomplicated Nen abilities.
Manipulators are argumentative and logical. They advance at their own pace and tend to want to keep their families and loved ones safe. On the other hand, when it comes to pursuing their own goals, they do not listen to what others might have to say about it. While Manipulators often use techniques that allow them to control their opponents, some choose an inanimate medium to control.
But last but not least. As you can guess, you'll see Tomoe's Hatsu next chapter. yeay! But can you guess what Izuku's Hatsu will be? But that's all for now?
