I was in my room preparing for bed when Bailey walked into the room. I didn't know why she was out so late since it was almost curfew. I couldn't help but wonder what she was doing. I was doing my homework because I want to impress Maya. We were going to Martinique and I wanted to learn French. I didn't know if she would be impressed by such a thing, but it was probably a good idea for me to learn another language anyway. I turned to Bailey to ask her where she had been. It was a little ironic that I was the one staying in studying and she was the one that was going out.

"Where have you been?" I asked.

"I was out on a date with Tess." She remarked. She hadn't told me that she was going on a date.

"You didn't tell me that you were going a date." I stated. I didn't even know that they liked each other like that. The two of them seemed like they didn't have a lot in common, but Bailey didn't have a lot in common with most people on the ship. While she didn't have a lot of money right now, I did have a feeling that Bailey would eventually have a lucrative career. I didn't know what it would be, but I was pretty sure that she would have a lot of money.

"I guess I just forgot." She replied. "It wasn't anything that serious. So what are you doing?"

"I've been trying to learn French, since we're going to Martinique and all." I stated.

"Funny that you're doing this now as opposed to when we actually went to France." Bailey quipped.

"Well there are two reasons for that. I think it's actually less likely that people know English here and also I want to impress Maya." I explained.

"Are you sure that Maya will even care if you know French?" She retorted.

"I don't know, but it's probably good that I know the language anyway." I pointed out.

"I guess it is." She agreed. "So did you have any plans for Martinique?"

"I wanted to go swimming with dolphins and I haven't been surfing in a little while." I explained. "Which one do you think Maya would like more?"

"How about instead of asking me, you ask Maya instead." She suggested before I noticed that she was smiling.

"What?" I questioned.

"It's just from the way you talked about surfing. If I didn't know better, I would think that you're actually from Australia." She commented.

"I've been learning more about the country too." I explained. "So do you have any idea why I have this accent?"

"I heard rumors that Zaria was actually born in another empire and her family actually the group of Incas that they ruled." She told me. That didn't make a lot of sense, but I couldn't confirm or deny that. I supposed Zaria turning my body into her body wasn't too out of the question. It would probably make more sense than just turning me female. "How about we stop with the French for now. Give me some Australian."

"Australian isn't a language." I replied as I rolled my eyes. "I was going to go to brekkie tomorrow with Chloe. I was gonna see if I can have some kiwi with my pancakes."

"I didn't know you liked kiwi." She told me.

"Well part of my job is trying new things with fruit." I pointed out. "It's actually really good. Now we should probably get ready for bed." I stated.

The two of us changed into pajamas, washed off our makeup and went to bed. We didn't really talk because we had already done enough of that.

In the morning, I put on a blue off-shoulder blouse and white miniskirt before I went to Chloe and Maya's room. I didn't want to open the door because they could be in the middle of changing. Maya was the one who answered the door.

"What do you want?" She asked. She seemed like she wasn't much of a morning person.

"I'm actually here to see Chloe." I replied. I didn't mind seeing her, but that wasn't why I was there. "Is she here?"

"No, she already left." Maya answered.

"Oh." I responded. "Well I was going to ask her to breakfast. Do you want to get breakfast?"

"I guess." She replied. "Just give me a minute to get dressed?"

"Is it okay if I wait inside or do you want me to stay out here?" I asked her.

"You can come inside." She told me before I stepped in and she went to the bathroom to change.

Bailey's POV

I went to meet Tess in the morning to talk to her over breakfast. We were going to be going to the lounge instead of the buffet. I was wearing a red tank top and jeans.

"So Zoey didn't have much of a reaction when I told her about last night." I commented.

"Well maybe it was because she wasn't there." Tess replied. "Maybe next time we should do something with her around. So what are you going to do today?"

"Well Zoey said that she wanted to do some surfing." I explained.

"Maybe we can do that." She suggested.

"I can't. I don't know how to surf." I told her. At that point, Chloe walked by and I flinched a little."

"What was that about?" She inquired. "It seems like you and Chloe never look each other in the eye."

"That's because we used to date." I responded. "We dated for a full year, literally. We broke up on our anniversary."

"Oh, that sounds like it sucks." Tess commented. "Do you want to talk about that?"

"I mean not really. She mainly just avoids me now." I declared. Tess did know that Chloe was trans, even though she had said that she was surprised by it. "It feels like our relationship was always moving at lightspeed."

"Do you think that maybe your feelings for Zoey are because of your old feelings for her?" She questioned. I wasn't expecting a therapy session.

"No." I answered. I kind of wished that I could tell her the whole story with Zoey but she wouldn't believe it. "I was pretty sure that I had feelings for Zoey before we broke up but that wasn't the reason why we broke up."

"You know I can teach how to surf if you want." She offered. "One of my boarding schools was near the beach, so I learned how to do so."

"I guess I could do that." I agreed. I then decided to have some fun. "Are you just saying that because you want to see me in a bikini?"

"Well I wouldn't mind it." She retorted with a smile before I playfully shoved her arm.

Zoey's POV

So after Maya was dressed, the two of us went to the buffet. Even though I had only said it to sound Australian, I actually kind of want some kiwi with my pancakes. Maya was a bit surprised by that when I brought them to the table and took a bite.

"Is that good?" She inquired.

"Yeah, do you want to try some?" I offered as I moved my plate over to her. She took a bite and she seemed to like it.

"So what part of Australia were you from again?" She asked.

"Brisbane." I answered between bites.

"And how did you get here?" She inquired. Luckily, I had prepared an answer for that too.

"My mum died a few years ago and Dad was too busy touring, so I went to live with Chloe and Carey. I fit in pretty well with the family. It's like she's my mum now." I answered. It was weird referring to my mom by her first name, but she wasn't supposed to be my mother.

"Oh, I'm sorry." She told me. "I've never really lost anyone in my life."

It was weird that I had to try to feel a sense of loss for someone that didn't actually exist. I wasn't sure how good I was at it.

"I'm okay with it." I answered. "Not to mention, I like living in Boston."

"My dad would probably kill me if he knew I was friends with a Red Sox fan." She joked. I couldn't help but giggle a little. "But it looks like you're going to miss the playoffs, so if you want to see them, you'll have to watch the Yankees with me."

"Never." I replied.

"So are you going to get off the ship at all?" She inquired.

"Yes, I've actually been practicing my French." I explained.

"I'm surprised that you know that they speak French here." She replied. "Chloe makes it sound like you're not a very good student."

"Recently, I've been trying to do better. I've accepted I'm not as smart as her." I declared. I couldn't help but wonder what else my sister had told her. "Anyway, I was thinking about either swimming with dolphins or surfing."

"I've always wanted to swim with dolphins." She explained. "The closest I've ever gotten was when my dad invited Dan Marino over to our house."

"What does that…" I started before I realized what team Dan Marino had played for. "I think you'll like real dolphins more. When do you want to go?"

"How about around 11:00?" She questioned.

"Sounds like a plan." I agreed. I couldn't help but wonder if I should say it was a date but maybe I should take things slow.

Bailey's POV

After breakfast, Tess and I got off the ship. There was a surfboard rental kiosk on the beach. I just hoped that I wouldn't make too big of a fool of myself. I was wearing a black bikini and Tess had a blue one.

"So what do I do first?" I asked her.

"Well, the first thing you need to do is head to the water." She replied. I rolled my eyes at that. I walked over to the water and she did as well. "So now I'm in the water, so what do I do?"

"We need to paddle out a little farther." Tess instructed. "Sit on your board and just watch and do what I do."

She swam out a little and I followed behind her.

"Now you need to try to stand up on it. These waves are pretty mild, so it shouldn't be too much of a problem." She declared. The water also wasn't super deep where we were. I couldn't help but wonder if she had surfed in deeper water, but I imagined that she had if she was at least an intermediate surfer. She got on top of her board and I tried to do the same.

"I'm doing it." I replied as I stood up. I threw my hands up in the air…and lost my balance and fell off. She promptly started to laugh.

"You gotta make sure that you can keep your balance." She told me through her giggling. "Especially since you're a little more top-heavy than I am."

"Is that your way of saying you like my big boobs?" I flirted playfully.

"Maybe I do." She flirted back. I then pulled her off of her board and into the water and both of us laughed.

Overall, I would say that I had a great time with her. I couldn't say that I really learned how to surf, but I still had a good time.

"It's too bad that Zoey wasn't around to see this." Tess remarked. "I bet she would have been so jealous."

"Yeah, probably." I agreed. Part of me didn't even care because I had such a good time with her. "So do you wanna go get some food or should we try to learn some more."

"I think getting some food would be a good idea." I remarked. "It's good to know that there's something that I'm smarter than you in."

Zoey's POV

Maya and I went to the dolphin place and I paid for two tickets to swim with the dolphins. We would have to do it separately. I mean technically we were going to be doing it at the same time, but we wouldn't be swimming together. We would each have a different dolphin. I tried to order the tickets completely in French, even though I was pretty sure that the box office person spoke English since we were at a tourist attraction. I may have mispronounced some of the words, but at least I knew the words.

We both changed into our swimsuits in the locker room. I was wearing a blue bikini and she had a blue and white one-piece.

"You know it's too bad that we're not going to be able to do this together." I commented.

"I mean they probably don't want the dolphins to become overwhelmed." She opined. "I'm just excited that I get to do this. So did they tell you what dolphin you're going to swim with?"

"They told that I would be with Taylor." I stated. Apparently, all of the dolphins were named after Miami Dolphins players, in this case Jason Taylor. "She's supposed to be very sweet."

I did have fun swimming with the dolphin, but I definitely wished that I would be able to do it with Maya. The people were right and Taylor was really sweet and I was able to get a picture of the two of us together. I had to pay extra in order to get it. That seemed to be one of the things about this place. It seemed like they really had ways of getting your money out of you. Food also wasn't included with our swimming. At least the place seemed to be legitimate.

After both of us were done swimming, the two of us went to a place to eat that was on property. Apparently they had some spicy wings. We were currently waiting for our food and seated at a table.

"So how did you like that?" I asked her.

"Well, my dolphin was very affectionate." She explained. "Probably a little too much even."

"Are you okay?" I asked in concern.

"Yeah. I just don't know if I want to do anything like this again any time soon." She answered.

"I'm sorry that it wasn't a good experience for you." I declared with a frown.

"I mean it was fun and I'm glad that I did it." She stated as our food arrived and she took a bite of one of the wings. She chewed on it for a minute before immediately downing her glass of water and taking some deep breaths. "Fuck…that's spicy."

"I'm glad that I ordered milk then." I replied before I took a bite of mine and damn, she was right. "I don't know if it is a very good idea for us to finish these."

"It probably isn't." Maya agreed. "How about we just get changed and go back to the ship?"

The two of us dried off and put our clothes back on before we got back on the ship after showing our student IDs.

"So thanks for bringing me here. I'll make sure to pay you back for this," She promised.

"You don't have to do that. It was my treat." I replied. I wasn't sure how it would rank as a date since I didn't know if Maya enjoyed some parts of it. "I mean that's what friends do for each other, right?"

"Right." She agreed with a smile. You know for the first time, it seemed like she was attracted to me, but I didn't want to ruin things by making a move. I might be able to convince her to go out with me later, but I realized that I should probably really show her that I cared.

Bailey's POV

That night, I was preparing to go out to dinner. I had had such a good time with Tess. I wanted to talk to Zoey to see how her day had gone, but I knew that I could always do that before bed.

However, I ran into someone that I wasn't expecting to see. For once, she also didn't seem to run away from me.

"Hi Bailey." She greeted me. She seemed nervous, but I supposed that the fact that she had initiated a conversation with me was a good sign.

"Hi Chloe." I reciprocated since it was the polite thing to do.

"So you're dating Tess now?" She asked. I couldn't help but wonder how she had found out about that. I knew I couldn't tell her that I wasn't actually dating her because I was pretty sure that she would tell Zoey. "I saw the two of you together at the beach."

"Yeah, it just kind of happened." I stated. "We haven't really done anything serious yet."

"Well I'm happy for you." She told me. You know I couldn't help but notice that my fake relationship seemed like it was making her jealous. That was definitely not something that I had anticipated.

"Thank you." I declared. I didn't know how I felt about it to be honest. She looked kind of sad. Even though our relationship had ended very badly, I didn't really want to hurt her and she looked like she was definitely hurt.

"Well I should probably go to dinner now." I declared. It was Asian night and while I didn't need to get there since it would be a sit-down experience, I still didn't want to be late. I was going to be at a table with Zoey, Tess, Woody and Marcus. We always had the same table assignments for dinner. I supposed that I was glad that Chloe and Maya wouldn't be there.

I passed by London's boutique on the way there. London had realized that since she was over 18 that she didn't need to go to school anymore and had opened several boutiques, including one in every Tipton hotel as well as onboard.

"So how what did you today?" Zoey asked as I sat down at the table.

"Tess and I had an amazing time." I replied. I then realized that I should try to kiss her.

So we're back. I finally got some inspiration to write another chapter. The important thing to note is Zoey is now played by Maia Mitchell with blonde hair. It also seems like Bailey ended up making Chloe jealous. She might find herself in a different love triangle. Anyway, please don't forget to review.
