"F-Fushi!" Izuku sobbed as he saw Fushi leaving his room. "Izuku. Congratulations!" "...Y-Yeah!" Crying to the ceiling, Fushi swears the water pressure caused the part of the floor Izuku was on to indent. "I'm glad that you passed. It'd be a waste to see," Looking at Inko, he talks about One For All when her face is turned. "To see All Might's quirk go unused." Izuku nods. "I thought about that too. I was so scared that All- his training would go to waste." Hugging Fushi, Izuku resumes his crying session. Inko watches and tears up herself. "I'm sorry Izuku. I'm proud of you!"
(Around this time, Izuku met up with All Might at Dagobah Beach, and the interaction went the same.)
"I-Izuku! Have you got your pocket tissues? Fushi! Did you pack your spare clothes?!" Inko truly did worry about her son, and Fushi worried her just as much. Fushi nodded as Izuku and he started wearing their shoes. "I did! No time. We gotta hurry!" "Wait! Izuku!" Izuku turned back as he opened the door. "What?!" Inko wanted to say something else, but all that she could say as she teared up was, "You look great!"
"1-A... 1-A... This school is huge huh?" Izuku jogged through the giant hallways of U.A. Fushi knew that some people had massive proportions because of their quirk, but he never truly realized the scale of it. "Look! It's over there!" Glancing over, Fushi notices a titanic door labeled with 1-A. Fushi smiled excitedly. "I'm repeating myself but... I feel so eager! I wonder who our classmates are!" Izuku opens the door first, and the first person Fushi notices is Bakugo, while Izuku notices him and Iida, the boy who was very harsh to him in the entrance test.
"Remove your foot from your table immediately! This is incredibly rude to the people who made the desk and the students who used it previously!" Iida chastised Bakugo to the best of his abilities. "Like I care! What middle school did you come from, haaah?!" "I-I'm from Somei Private Academy! My name is Tenya Iida." Bakugo sneered after hearing that. "Somei! A haughty elitist then?! I should blow you to bits!" Tenya flinched, flabbergasted by his answer. "Blow me to bits?! Your incorrigible! Don't you wish to become a hero?!" Turning to the new arrivals, Iida greeted Izuku and talked about how he had misjudged him and how Izuku was superior. Iida also greeted Fushi and hoped his experience in the U.A. would be satisfactory.
"Wow! Are you a foreigner? You're hot!" A pink girl with yellow horns ran up to Fushi. "H-huh?" Fushi sweated a little, surprised by the sudden burst of energy. "I said, are you a foreigner? Oh, is Japanese your second language?" Fushi shook his head. "I was raised in Japan. Sorry, I was surprised by your energy." The pink girl chuckled. "Yeah, people say that about me. My name is Mina Ashido! Nice to meet'cha!" "My name is Fushi. It's nice to meet you as well." Mina pouted a bit. "Jeez, you're formal huh? You don't have to be like that! What school are you from?" Fushi paused and wondered what to say. The Midoriya's taught him everything, and Izuku usually brought books on subjects he couldn't teach at home. "I guess I was homeschooled." Mina rubbed her chin. "Wow, it must be nice not having to transit to a school, huh? Considering you got into U.A., whoever taught you must be crazy smart!" Fushi smiled and passed a glance at Izuku, who was busy talking with a brown-haired girl. "Yeah, he is."
"If you all came here to socialize, leave." The students turned to the source of the voice. "This is the hero course." A man, whom Fushi recognized from the projection and the overlooker of his section, crawled out of the yellow sleeping bag he was in. Sucking out nutrient jelly from a packet, he loomed over the students. "It took you all eight seconds to quiet down. Time is a precious resource and not one you should waste. You lot aren't very rational." Izuku couldn't recognize the man but assumed he was a teacher and a Pro-Hero. "I'm your homeroom teacher, Shota Aizawa. Pleased to meet you." Pulling out blue, white, and red clothes he hands one over to each student. "Quickly now. Change into your gym clothes and head out to the grounds."
After everyone wore their provided clothing, they walked over to the testing grounds of U.A. "Today, we will be conducting a test of your quirks." Izuku flinched. He remembered his experience with using his quirk, and knew he was, in his own words, "Totally screwed!" Uraraka spoke up, confused about the sudden test. "B-But what about the entrance ceremony? Or guidance sessions?" Aizawa scoffed at her. "No time to waste on that if you want to be a hero." Uraraka flinched from the unforgiving tone. "U.A. is known for its 'free-style' educational system. That not only applies to the students but the teachers as well." Listing out gym tests, Aizawa explains what the students are to do. "These are your standard no-quirks-allowed gym tests. This country insists on prohibiting quirks when calculating the averages of those records. I find this irrational and useless, and I hate useless things." Aizawa turned to Bakugo. "How far could you throw in middle school?" "67 meters." "Great. Now try with your quirk. Do whatever you need, just as long as you don't leave the circle." Walking into the designated spot, Bakugo winded up his throw and launched the ball with a loud blast. "DIE!" As his phone's screen calculated Bakugo's throw, Aizawa turned to the students. "It's important to know your limits. That's the first step to becoming a hero." Showing his screen to the kids, it reveals Bakugo's throw launched the ball 705.2 meters.
"This is awesome!" "So we can use our quirks for real! The hero course is great!" Izuku panicked as he thought to himself. "Th-this is bad! I didn't know this was coming!" The air around Aizawa changed, as he was nauseated by the students' reactions. "Awesome? You're hoping to become a hero in 3 years, and you think it'll all be fun and games?" Everyone flinched as Aizawa stared at them unnervingly. "Right. The one with the lowest score across all eight events will be expelled." Moving his unruly hair up, Aizawa smiles. "Your fates are in our hands! Welcome, this... is the hero course at U.A. High!"
"The lowest scorer will be expelled?! But this is only the first day! That's not fair!" Uraraka was the only one to speak up again, although everyone agreed. "Natural disasters, highway pile-ups, rampaging villains... Calamity is always right around the corner. I'd say Japan is filled with unfair things. Heroes are the ones who correct that unfairness." Aizawa scratched his neck as he watched the students writhe in his invisible grip. "If you were hoping to spend your evenings relaxing, I'm sorry to tell you, but for the next 3 years, U.A. will bring you to hell and back!" Lifting a finger, he stares at the students in the eye. "That's Plus Ultra!" "Trial by fire huh?" Iida thought. "This is what it's like. We've no choice!" "Hmph! That was nothing!" Bakugo scoffed. "So this is U.A. How exciting!" Fushi smiled to himself.
For the 50-meter dash, Fushi managed to shave his time to around 3.4 seconds as a wolf. Not have to worry about muscle overworking thanks to his regeneration shined here. For the grip strength test, Fushi's grip strength came out to 79 pounds. His white-haired form trained their grip strength with their spear or fishing rod to survive, and for the same reason, he excelled in the 50-meter dash and did well at the grip strength test. For the third event, the standing long jump, 2.4 meters was the best Fushi could get. On the fourth event, sidestepping, he clocked in at 42 in 1 minute. For the fifth event, Fushi's throw launched the ball 62 meters. He noticed that Izuku was drenched in cold sweat as he walked up for his turn. "You can do it Izuku." Izuku turned and thanked Fushi with his eyes as he passed. Fushi watched as Izuku hesitated for a moment, before incorporating One For All in his throw. "This is my first time witnessing All Might's power in Izuku's hands. Let's see it, Izuku!" Throwing the ball, it flies in an arc and lands on the 46-meter mark. "Eh?"
"B-but I was trying to..!" Aizawa's hair floated as he eyed Izuku. "I 'erased' your quirk." Izuku turns to Aizawa, noticing that his eyes are glowing red. "That entrance exam... How ridiculous! Considering someone like you passed it, it's completely irrational." "Erased?! Wait... Those goggles! Of course! Y-you're!" Aizawa scoffed as he heard Izuku stutter. "The underground hero, Eraserhead!" "I saw how you couldn't control your quirk. You'd be incapacitated if you used it. Were you hoping someone would come and help you?" "N-no, it's not th-" Aizawa's scarf pulled Izuku to him. "Whatever you were planning was going to inconvenience someone. Way back, there was a certain hot-headed hero who saved over 1000 people during a disaster. You've got the same recklessness, but you'd be useless after saving one person." Izuku gulped as Aizawa's intimidating staredown pierced through his skull. "Izuku Midoriya. You cannot be a hero with that power of yours."
Putting Izuku down, Aizawa walks away. "You've got your quirk back. You have one last try." The other students talked among each other, some worrying for Izuku, while others, on purpose or not, humiliated him. "I can't regulate it, not yet. So... it's all or nothing!" Winding up his throw for a second time, Aizawa sighs. But to his surprise, Izuku's arm isn't overflowing with the same power that indicates his quirk activating. "N-Not yet!" Time slowed down for Izuku, as he counted for the perfect timing. "Now!" His finger burst with power and launched the ball through the air. Turning to Aizawa, he bites his lower lip in pain. "I-I... Can still move!" With a score of 705 meters, Aizawa smiled maniacally. "This kid!"
"DEKU!" Bakugo lunged forward with explosions. "What did you do?! What the hell did you do!" The violent genius felt like he had been lied to, and did the only thing he knew to do. That is if he wasn't stopped by Aizawa's scarf. "Good grief. Quit using your quirk already. I'm getting dry eye..." "W-what is this stuff?!" The scarf was tough enough to stop Bakugo from moving or tearing, and flexible enough to wrap itself around him. "What a waste of time. Prepare for the next event." Bakugo was released, but he glared at Izuku's back. "That damn pebble..!"
The next event was an endurance run, in which Fushi managed to outlast everyone. "A regeneration quirk must be nice to have." Izuku wheezed as he conversed with Fushi. "Haha... Yeah, that's true. It's nice not having to worry about hurting yourself." The rest were uneventful, although Fushi could tell Izuku's confidence was depleting with every event. When it was time to show the leaderboards, Aizawa mentioned something important, as if it was a side note. "Also, I lied about expelling anyone. It was a rational deception to bring out the best of you." Everyone was astounded by Aizawa and Izuku nearly vibrated out of existence. Showing the leaderboards, Fushi came out in 2nd place, topped only by Momo Yaoyorozu. Fushi noticed Bakugo looking at him with disdain and a white and red-haired boy staring with interest.
"Man! I'm pooped!" Izuku slumped over, as Fushi dragged him across the entrance of U.A. Fushi noticed that Iida was marching his way to them, and he greeted him accordingly. "Hey, Iida." Iida waved as well. "Hello, Fushi! I wanted to ask Izuku about his finger." Izuku looked over. "O-oh. It's fine, thanks to Recovery Girl. But I feel really tired from the healing process." Iida nodded. "That's good to hear! But Aizawa sure did fool us. To think that he would deceive us like that!" "H-hey guys! Wait up! Headed to the station?" Uraraka hopped up to the trio and introduced herself. "I'm Ochaku Uraraka! Um... You're Fushi, Iida, and Deku, right?" Izuku flinched when his pet name was brought up. "Um... My name is Izuku." Uraraka tilts her head in confusion. "But didn't Bakugo call you Deku?" "Uh, well, that's him being a... a bully." Uraraka flinched and apologized. "I'm sorry, I didn't know! It's just that... Deku kinda sounds like '(Dekiru) you can do it,' huh?" Feeling his cheeks turn crimson, Izuku's mouth turns into an upside-down triangle. "D-Deku is fine!" "Midoriya, what!?"
Made up for the last chapter being small. Probably.
Also, I'm wondering if I should do romance. I'm leaning towards no romance, but I'd let the readers decide. (Absolutely no harem though screw that)
