"Watch out! I'll come and get you!" Arizona was running through Lily and John's garden, playing with Isla while the twins were taking a nap.

John and Lily had to get some errands, so Arizona just quickly drove over to watch their kids.

"Noo never!" The five year old jumped around, giggling at her silly auntie. Isla run as fast as she could, always checking behind of her how close the grown up was. She soon noticed that she was trapped between the fence and Arizona, leaving barely any chance of escaping.

When Arizona finally reached her she spun her around and threw her up in the air. The blonde loved moments like these with Isla.

The giggling girl started cuddling on Arizona. She did not wanted to be let down. "Zoni, I'm hungry." They were playing catch me for quiet a while now. Isla barely let Arizona put the twins to bed before she wanted to play with her. A little sad that their playing time was over (and probably getting tired as well).

Arizona fixed them a quick fruit bowl before she cuddled up with Isla on the sofa. She turned on a random Disney movie. It wasn't too long after that she had a sleeping five year old cuddled up to her. She put a blanket on top of her after carefully slipping out of the embrace.

Just as she thought that the house was quiet now, loud screams could be heard through the house. Arizona run upstairs to get the twins to calm down. Luckily only Harper seemed to be awake. Her brother Oliver seemed to be soundly asleep. The blonde took Harper out of her crib, offering her her pacifier, which the baby gladly took, and sat on a rocking chair. She rocked them until she felt Harper relax in her arms.

"The house is so quiet..." John said after they entered the door. "Do you think pixie stick took our babies?" John asked playfully overdramatic with a smirk of amusement on his face. He always called her that, even tho Lily told him quite often to stop with it. But John wouldn't be John if he would stop calling her that just because the duo didn't like the name.

"Don't call her that! And no I don't think so." His wife answered laughing as they entered the kitchen, ready to unpack the groceries.

"She's probably watching TV with Isla." The redhead added, nodding with her head towards the living room.

"I'll go check and tell them that we are back." John said before exiting the kitchen to go in the living room. There he found his daughter, cuddled up with a blanket and her favorite stuffed animal, peacefully sleeping. Carefully, the father of the little girl kissed her on her head and turned off the TV. He then grabbed her with the blanket and brought her up to her room so she could continue her nap.

Back downstairs Lily was talking on the phone with Callie. Her newest work partner tried to escape the party that was coming later that night with silly excuses.

It wasn't like Callie didn't like Lily, no she really found a friend in her. And she does feel bad for not wanting to attend. But what would she do on the party? Callie barely knew anyone there. She knew Robbins and obviously Lily. But other than that? Hell, she didn't even knew Lily's husband. Callie just simply didn't wanted to be the third wheel.

"Dr. Taylor, I don't really know. Except you and Robbins, nobody knows me there!"

"It's gonna be fun! And it also is a way for you to meet new people." Lily cheerfully answered. She truly hoped Callie would attend. Callie sure was fun and being a little selfish, Lily wanted to see if drunk Callie was even more fun.

The other line went dead for a few seconds. That was until the latina took a deep breath. Lily got what she wanted. "Alright, I'll stop by. But you need to send me your address." Callie said.

"Oh don't worry about that! It's on Arizona's way, she'll just come and get you. Let's say around half past eight." Oh no! Please anyone but Arizona! Callie was sure the blonde did not like her. Not that the blonde did much to hide her emotions towards Callie. Arizona didn't like her and it was quite obvious.

Before Callie could tell her that she would rather drive with her own car, Dr. Taylor started talking again. "By the way, she tends on being late quite often." Callie wanted to say something, she would come here with her own car, but didn't say anything. She could handle a few minutes with Arizona, right?

After the collegua hung up Callie let herself fall on her sofa. She needed a gift for Lily. Arizona would be here at eight thirty, still quite a while. But what should she get her boss?

Callie had spent some time with the redhead, but not enough to know what she'd like or need.

So she decided to go to the little down town shop and (hopefully) find something that would be acceptable as a gift.

Meanwhile, Arizona was spotted with a sleeping baby on her arms. John informed her that she was responsible for bringing Callie tonight, due to the latina barely knowing her ways through New York.

The blondes excitement wasn't big at those news but she kept her mouth shut. Instead she smiled at the taller man and said that she'd do it. (Not that she had any choice anyway).

Hours later, Callie found herself in the shower, starting to get ready. Arizona was supposed to come in around forty-five to sixty minutes. So the latina quickly hopped under the shower to look a little presentable for the birthday party.

It didn't took her long to get herself cleaned up. She had enought time to spare until her lab partner would arrive.

Callie decided to go with an outfit that was somewhere between fancy and low-key. So, after taking a while in front of the mirror, she decided to wear her black jeans with a white blouse and dark spots on it. She kept her make up light with just simple red lipstick (the one she used almost every day).

Robbins: I'll start to drive now. Be there in 20

Callie didn't answer. Answering to this text seemed silly, considering Arizona was driving and the text message would only distract her. So instead, Callie once again checked everything. She had her present for her boss ready, her purse with enough money in it (in case that Arizona gets drunk and is unable to drive her home), her make up was looking good and so was her outfit. The latina was ready for the birthday party.

It wasn't even too long after that Callie received a message saying Arizona stood in front of her building.

Arizona had her blonde curly hair up in a high ponytail. She, too, had put on only light make up that let her ocean blue eyes pop.

"Funny Story. I got called in to an emergency. We'll make a quick stop at my apartment so I can get dressed. I promise it won't take longer than five minutes." The blonde explained as soon as Callie got in the car.

The car ride was quiet. Not an uncomfortable kind of silence. They just didn't knew what to say.

The blonde climbed out. Before closing the car door she stuck her head in. "I may need some help getting Lily's present in the elevator. Could you help me with it please?"

Callie didn't knew how to respond. What could Arizona got Lily that was so heavy? She took a second before she smiled and agreed.

"This shit is way heavier than I thought it would!" Callie complained as she once again tried to push the baseball seats in the elevator. "How did you even got them in your apartment?"

Stopping to pull the seats in the elevator, Arizona answered: "I had help from Taylor's husband." She sat down on pine of the seats, signalling Callie to join her. "They met in exactly those seats several years ago. When I heard that the stadium was closing and selling everything inside I bought them. I checked with John if it was okay. Only a few days later he helped me get them home." Arizona sighed. "It was stupid of me to think that I could with your help get them in the elevator. Even John had needed help."

Callie didn't reply. Instead she stood up and tried pushing it again. They were already pretty far, only having to push/pull the seats in the elevator. When Arizona realized what Callie was up to she quickly helped her.

Around ten minutes later and the seats were placed in the little elevator. A bright smile appeared pin Arizonas face as she pushed the elevator button to get them down.

But Arizona's happiness did not lasted long as the a loud noise the elevator got stuck. "What just happened?" Callie asked, standing behind the seats. Arizona didn't reply. "Robbins, what just happened?" She repeated herself, this time slightly harsher.

"It happens all the time, don't worry!" Arizona said as she hitted the 'help' button. "You aren't claustrophobic, are you?" She tried joking. But the lightly annoyed latina didn't answer instead just send her an angry look.

Giving up on the 'help' button, Arizona fished out her phone from her jeans pocket. "radio hole" she cursed. "This could take a while." She whispered, hoping that maybe it would make Callie less angry.

It didn't.

"What do you mean with 'a while'?"

"Something like 5 minutes." The blonde replied, her voice getting lower with every moment passing. "Could be up to a few hours." She now barely whispered. Getting a furious glance from Callie she opened her mouth again, at first nothing coming out. "It won't actually be hours just... It was just worst case scenario." She explained now talking with a loud voice again.

"Hours?"

"I'm gonna shut up now." Arizona said. It wasn't her first time being stuck in the elevator and most likely won't be her last time. But it was her first time being stuck with Callie.

The blonde let herself sink on the floor. Taking a deep breath she hoped the elevator would start anytime soon.

Around an hour later the silence became uncomfortable. Callie sat across the blonde, barely seeing the other woman due to the seats. "How long is this shit going to take?" The annoyed latina asked for the third time already.

With a deep breath, and honestly quite annoyed about their situation too, Arizona answered "I still have no clue." The blonde closed her eyes, exhaustion from her day crashing on her.

With a loud scream and a kick against the seats, Arizona opened her eyes again. "This is all your fault! My plan was to just simply stay a few minutes and then get a cab and leave again! Without your goddamn seats I could be sitting at home right now!" The latina almost screamed. Arizona let it just go. Callie wasn't the only one who was annoyed and mad at the situation. She was as well. And if this, the screaming and the thrusting against the seats, helped her then well... She'd wait for her work partner to calm down again. So the blonde watched Callie for a few more seconds, aware that Callie was waiting for some kind of answer, before closing her eyes. "That's it? We're stuck in a fuckin elevator for over an hour now, and all you do is to close your eyes while I'm talking to you?"

"Well yeah, deal with it. As long as I can't have a normal conversation with you that doesn't involve you yelling at me I'm gonna close my eyes and be quiet. Because, other than someone else, I have my temper controlled and don't have to yell at someones face as a way of cope!"

"I don't have my temper under control?!" The latina asked annoyed.

Arizona stood up so she could be on Callie's eye-level. "Yes," she started of quiet. "You don't have your temper under control. You may should let it be checked out before you hurt someone with your anger issues!" Arizona was yelling now too.

"My anger issues? I am not the one who needs 5 liters of coffee to be nice to my patients! And neither am I the one that acts like a five year old!"

"I'd rather act like a five year old then have a stick that big that far in my ass as you do!"

"I don't have a stick in my ass! It's called being mature."

"Oh yeah, mature, right."

"But you wouldn't know with your squirrel brain and a sex drive of a sixteen year old!"

"At least I have an active sex life, not like you, gained my virginity back after college. And am not as anti social as you are!" Arizona shot back. It was funny but also sad how they started from being stuck in an elevator for an hour to loudly discuss the blondes sex life.

"Please, you change your sex partners at least twice a day."

"Right, because you keep track of my sex life." Arizona scoffed as she whispered her reply.

"Do you even care about the fact that you give the word 'slut' a whole new meaning?" Callie asked. But right after the words had left her mouth she regretted them. She had no right to call Arizona a slut, she knew everyone had their own weight to carry around with themselves. Callie saw the hurt look on Arizona's face. "I-I didn't-" she was cut off by the blonde.

"Save it!" It came over cold, without any expression on her face. Arizona was hurt. Deeply.

Callie wanted to actually apologize, but decided against it. Seeing how Arizona turned her back towards Callie, reached for her phone and once again tried to call help. Effortless.

Arizona let her back melt into the wall as she dramatically let herself sink. Once again she closed her eyes an let the past ten minutes roll through her head. Tears soon made themselves known, but the blonde was determined to not let them show.

She couldn't be weak.

She had to be strong.

That's how her parents had raised her to be.

Callie seemed to acknowledge that, sat on the ground as well and just went quiet. They both sat in different corners of the elevator, needing as much distance between them as possible.

Now and then, Callie looked at the hurt blonde. She really didn't wanted to hurt her. And somewhere Arizona was right, Callie tempted to lose her temper sometimes. It just happened to be one of those time where she couldn't.

They sat in total silence for another fourty minutes before Arizona took a deep breath. "It's been almost two hours, Lily or John must have noticed that we didn't arrive." She didn't wanted an answer. She didn't get an answer.

Arizona's thoughts went back to what Callie said. Was she actually a slut? Yes she enjoyed having her fun with women. And yes, Callie did 'caugh' her once or twice running out of a bar with a woman. But was that making her a slut? She didn't sleep with women everyday. Hell, probably not more than twice a week. And sometimes she just looked for a good company to chat with. Arizona was aware that Callie probably heard the gossip about her with different nurses. But not even they were true. Her ex girlfriend had worked as a nurse in the hospital. She was transferred from another hospital a few months into dating, but soon broke it up, due to the hospital gossip. Now, last time Arizona heard something from her, she works in another hospital and even is married.

Well, Arizona couldn't care less about it.

Callie saw Arizona fidgeting with her blouse. Something the blonde did either when she was nervous or thinking hard about something. Callie just never knew what it was this time. She'd guess it's the second one right now.

Deciding to not stop the blondes thoughts she just once again sat back and waited for the blonde to start talking about what she was thinking.

And in this silence another few hours were spent quiet. The only time they actually did talk was when Callie sneezed and Arizona a short and cold 'bless you' said.

Now Arizona looked like she was again thinking. She stared at the seats, up to the ceiling and again back down on the floor. Callie watched as Arizona did that three times more before she stopped the blonde. "Okay, if you have an idea on how to get out then I would really appreciate it if you would share it with me."

Too deep in her thoughts to actually respond, Arizona just signed for Callie to stand up. She walked up to the confused latina, stepped into her personal space and just a few seconds after pushing her on her knees. "What are you doing?" Callie asked as Arizona compared Callies shoulders to her hip.

"If I'm right, and I'm usually right, we could maybe escape through this little door up there."

Before Callie had time to even acknowledge what Arizona just told her, the blonde stood in front of her without her shoes on. "You need to help me to get up."

They managed to get Arizona actually up, with the blonde standing on Callie's shoulders, but went stuck at opening the door. "Callie, grab my legs for safety." Arizona ordered.

With all her strength Arizona pushed open the door. Their plan was for one of them to escape, call help and wait for help. Callie now had her hands on Arizonas feet helping her up and through the little shaft. And, luckily, they were successful.

an: So that took a while I guess. sorry for that. idk I really dislike this chapter (that's probably why it took me so long to update). Should I try and update more often with less words or do you think I should stay with the amount of words and update not as often? lmk what you think and thank you for reading!
