In Fantasyland, Toren, Adam, and Melody were on a mission to get Rachel and Poe's cake ready for the wedding. The Jaquin was currently leading his friends into the fantastical land since he knew the perfect place to get a cake. "We're almost there!" Toren said with a smile.

"I was wondering why we're in Fantasyland for this," Adam said. "Wouldn't Ana and Berry be good choices for this job?"

"I was thinking the Dupain-Chang family myself," Melody said. "Ladybug has told me about their great baking."

"Well, Ana and Berry are back home for the holidays, so they're out," Toren explained. "And Tom and Sabine are currently working on a big Christmas order for Mickey's holiday party, so they're not available as well. That just leaves one other option, and it's one that I'm excited to go back to."

"Oh, they must be family friends of the Jaquin royal family," Melody said.

"Eh, kind of? More like fellow Disney Junior friends," Toren shrugged, getting confused looks from his friends. The trio stopped in front of an old tree where a very prominent rabbit hold could be seen at the base of it. "Here we go! The bakery we're looking for is right here."

"Wait, isn't this the rabbit hole leading to Wonderland?" Adam questioned.

Toren nodded. "Yep, and we're gonna get the help of my friends to bake Rachel the perfect cake!"

"As a man of science, I find Wonderland to be… a bit much for myself, personally," Adan sighed.

"Oh come on, Adam! You gotta get that childlike sense of wonder back!" Melody said. "I for one and open to seeing how they bake in Wonderland."

"Then let's get going!" Toren cheered, hopping down the rabbit hole as Adam and Melody followed behind. The Jaquin's scarf shimmered with light as a song came to his heart, bubbling up as Fantasia filled the long tumbled down.

Down the rabbit hole to Wonderland

She found this place

Spices sing and butter flies

A new world to embrace!

The trio floated down the rabbit hole, eventually landing inside the familiar hallway where Toren opened up the door into Wonderland.

Nothing here's impossible

so stir and twirl away

Up is down and left is right

There's where she's gonna stay!

After going through the forest, Toren pointed out the Wonderland Bakery, a cute little house in the shape of teapot where Alice stayed and did her job.

Everything's so curious

like a dream come true

At Alice's Wonderland Bakery

She'll make something for you!

Adam and Melody looked around the bakery in surprise and wonder as Toren sang, the Jaquin ringing a bell that started singing along with the song.

Don't be late it's ready now

Bring friends both old and new

At Alice's Wonderland Bakery

She'll make something for you!

Coming down the stairs at the back of the bakery were three individuals: a girl who was the spitting image of Alice wearing a food-themed version of her classic blue outfit, a kid around the girl's age wearing the Mad Hatter's attire, and a young white rabbit boy with large blue glasses.

The girl took center stage as she sang the last line of the song.

At Alice's Wonderland Bakery

I'll make something… for you!

Toren and the kid trio all laughed as the song ended before the Jaquin shook the girl's hand. "Nice to see you again, Alice!"

"Good to see you too, Toren," Alice said. "Oh, and I see you brought some of your friends. Welcome to the Wonderland Bakery!"

"I'm Adam, and this is Melody," Adam greeted. "Pardon me for asking, but I didn't know you ran a bakery, Alice."

"I was more wondering how the Mad Hatter and White Rabbit got so small myself," Melody said.

"Oh, you must be talking about my great-grandmother," Alice replied, pointing up to a photo on the bakery's wall showing classic Alice's portrait. "She was the first one to come to Wonderland, and now I run a bakery here using her old recipes."

"That's me, by the way!" a talking cookbook called from the counter.

The Mad Hatter kid stepped forward next. "My name's Hattie, and I'm a hatter just like my dad, his dad, all the way back to the Mad Hatter that Alice's great-grandma met."

"And My name's Fergie," the white rabbit kid said shyly. "He was my grandpa- the first White Rabbit that led Alice's great-grandma to Wonderland in the first place."

"I'm kinda getting Descendants vibes, but much cuter and more wholesome," Melody noted.

"U-Um, excuse me, miss…" Fergie said nervously. "Are you a h-h-hyena?"

"Indeed I am, but don't worry, I'm not going to eat you or anything like that," Melody chuckled. "In fact, if you came up to the Magical World, you could meet lots of friendly hyenas like myself."

"Oh, I'd love to visit your world sometime!" Hattie exclaimed.

"It might be a bit too not-Wonderland for you, Hattie," Alice giggled. "So then, Toren, what brings you all here today?"

"Well Alice, a close friend of mine is getting married, and you're the only ones that can help us bake the perfect cake for the occasion," Toren explained.

"Woah, a wedding cake! That's a big deal," Alice gasped.

"Indeed it is. Do you think you kids are up for it?" Adam asked.

Alice, Hattie, and Fergie all looked at each other before nodding. "If we work together and follow the recipe, we can made anything! So, what kind of cake does Rachel want."

"Something with flowers on it, specifically the golden flowers found in the Kingdom of Corona," Adam said, pulling up a picture of the flowers. "Rachel would appreciate having some of these on the cake."

"It should also be purple in color, since that's Poe's favorite color," Melody added. "Maybe something magic-themed as well since they're both mages?"

"Oh, and could you add some dark chocolate icing as well?" Toren suggested. "They both have used dark magic, so I think dark chocolate is fitting."

"So it needs to have golden flowers, be purple in color, and use dark chocolate icing?" Fergie repeated as he wrote down the ingredients.

"That's a lot of different themes. Would all of those even work on a wedding cake?" Hattie wondered.

"Even if things are different, you can still make then work well together if you compromise and let everyone shine," Alice replied. "Cookie, do you have a recipe we could use?"

"Indeed I do," Cookie the cookbook replied, opening up her pages to show a purple cake with orange stars on it.

"An Evening Starlight cake? That's perfect!" Alice cheered. "We can replace the stars with golden flowers, and add on dark chocolate icing to finish the cake."

"I'm still a bit unsure about not having a traditional wedding cake…" Adam said with concern.

"Oh come on, Adam. Rachel and Poe aren't as tradition as you are," Melody said.

"…You're right. We have to give them the best cake they'd want, and I'm sure they'll appreciate whatever we bring them," Adam nodded.

"Great! Then let's gather up the ingredients and get baking!" Toren cheered.

"I should have some dark chocolate in the pantry, and we can get golden flowers out from the forest," Alice said.

"We'll get the flowers!" Hattie said, going outside with Melody.

"And Adam and I will go get the dark chocolate," Fergie said, going into the pantry with Adam.

"That leaves Toren and I to make the purple cake," Alice said.

"Then cue the baking song!" Toren said with a wink as music started up.

Bum, bum, bum

Bum, bum, badum

Bum, badum, badum!

Outside, Hattie and Melody went to the backyard, where the little hatter grabbed a gardening hose and pointed it at a patch of flowers. "If we need golden flowers, then where better to find them then at the end of the rainbow?" he said, turning on the hose and creating a rainbow with the water stream.

Melody watched with surprise as the flowers at the end of the rainbow magically turned into golden ones. "Only in Wonderland…" she laughed as she picked the flowers.

Bum, bum, bum

Bum, bum, badum

Bum, badum, badum!

In the pantry, Adam was surprised as gravity shifted inside, with Fergie bouncing around looking for the ingredient they needed. "Light chocolate, white chocolate, caramel chocolate… here! Dark chocolate!" the white rabbit exclaimed, pointing to one of the jars.

Adam picked it up and opened up the jar, finding in the inside pitch black. "Ah, I see. It's dark chocolate, so it has to be kept in the dark. Clever," the cyborg shook his head as he used his magnet boots to get back down to the floor.

Oh roll up your sleeves

it's time to bake

Stir that

We've got a dish to make

Alice rolled up her sleeves while grabbing a chef's hat for Toren to wear, the Jaquin washing his paws to prepare for helping in baking.

And let's work together

With a sift and a scoop

And a sprinkle and a shake…

Come on, let's bake!

The duo got the base of the cake ready, with Toren using some of his emotion magic to turn the batter purple while Alice set out the rest of tools they'd need to make the cake.

Bum, bum, bum

Bum, bum, badum!

(Let's bake!)

"And we're back!" Melody called as the others returned to the main room, ingredients in hand.

"Good, then we just need to bake it," Toren nodded.

Alice held up her whisk and sang, "Whisk like me then have a taste!"

Hattie took the batter and mixed it up in his hat. "Mix it like a hatter. There's no time to waste!"

Fergie opened up the oven as the cake pans were tossed in and set the timer. "Set it like a rabbit- we can't be late!"

"The perfect recipe served on your plate!" Everyone sang together.

Come on let's bake!

With a sprinkle and a shake…

Once the cake was done baking Adam stacked all of the layers together, with Hattie and Melody putting on the icing while Fergie and Alice added the flowers to the cake.

Come on let's bake!

With a sprinkle and a shake…

In a final touch, Toren flew up and added little Rachel and Poe toppers to the very tip-top of the cake, completing the order.

Come on let's bake!

"We did it, guys! Our first wedding cake," Alice cheered.

"It looks good. Maybe even better than my own wedding cake," Adam admitted.

"I should come back here and get my wedding cake done by you guys… if I ever get married, that is," Melody laughed.

"Yeah, just having a platonic life partner is good enough for me," Toren said. The Jaquin then grabbed one of the delivery boxes and tossed it over the top of the cake, the dessert magically shrinking down to fit inside the box before Alife wrapped it up in a cute little bow. "Thank you for everything, Alice. We'll make sure to tell your great-grandmother hello next time we see her!"

"Thanks for choosing Wonderland Bakery! We'd love to see you again!" Alice said as the trio left Wonderland to return to the Magical World.

Author's Note

So funny story, I had actually seen a few episodes of Alice's Wonderland Bakery before someone suggested using them to make the cake, so I jumped on the opportunity to include Alice, Hattie, and Fergie in this story. I won't say the show is groundbreaking or the best thing I've ever seen, but like most Disney Junior shows it's harmless fun that teaches life lessons. I also just think the idea of Alice's great-granddaughter working at a bakery in Wonderland to be really cute.

The two songs in this chapter are from the show, being the theme song and the baking song, staples of each episode (though the theme song had a few lyrics changed since Toren was singing it). It was fun getting to use Wonderland logic to make some of the ingredients as well.
