"Pigsy? What are you doing?" Tang walked into the shop cautiously, seeing how his husband was practically running non-stop back and forth between the stove and the kitchen counter preparing who knows how many orders of noodles; the strange thing about it was that they were now in the closing time, there were actually only 15 minutes left, and everyone knew that Pigsy didn't accept any more orders after that time limit; so Tang couldn't figure out why the demon was doing all that work.
"Sorry Tang. Not now," was the other's quick response as he hurried to complete the last order before furiously ringing the counter bell to get MK's attention who was washing the dishes in the back.
The boy immediately ran, a highly alarmed look on his face, surely fearing something had happened. "Pigsy? What-"
"MK! Come on, you have to deliver this order! The address is on the navigator, go!", the pig demon didn't give him time to ask or to protest, pushing him towards the tuk-tuk parked outside, forcing the boy inside and shouting at him to start the engine and hurry up, quickly promising to explain everything to him when he gets back.
Tang stared at the whole scene without being able to comment on anything. He was shocked! He'd never, ever seen Pigsy act like that. "Pigsy what are you doing?", he leapt forward, placing a hand on his shoulder and forcibly turning him towards him, "What's happening to you ?".
Pigsy in return grabbed him by his shoulders with a huge smile plastered on his face and his eyes shining with happiness. "Tang, this customer is something incredible!".
"What are you talking about? What customer?"
"The one who ordered me all that stuff!", he let out a laugh, hugging him and placing a kiss on his cheek, before grabbing the phone and showing him the latest messages received, explaining in the meantime how for some months now this particular person not only ordered a large quantity of food each time (enough to feed at least 15 people) on a weekly basis, but how recently, realizing that they often ordered almost a little before the closing hour, they were sending to the shop not double, but triple of the total amount due.
"Of course the first few times I pointed out to them that it wasn't necessary, but they insisted and refused all the return payments, and so now we have the sum necessary not only to pay the expenses, but also something more to be able to allow something else, like...", he took Tang's hand, pointing him to a precise and empty spot in the kitchen, "A new mixer! Work would speed up and business would definitely improve!". It goes without saying that Pigsy was evidently over the moon, and this also explains why he busied herself with that enthusiasm for that last delivery.
There was just one small detail that his husband surely ignored, and that Tang didn't know was the right thing to reveal to him or not.
"You don't seem very happy about that, Tang"; the demon pig stared at him confused, surely expecting a very different reaction than that embarrassed expression and the strange silence in which his husband had suddenly shut himself up.
"Huh? No no! I'm happy for you, trust me! It's just that...", Tang released himself from his partner's embrace, smiling weakly, still undecided on what to say.
"Then why do you have that strange face?" As it arrived, Pigsy's good mood vanished in a second, leaving plenty of room for perplexity and an evident disappointment that Tang wasn't obviously saying something to him.
The human on his part let out a sigh; it was better to tell him how things were.
"Pigsy, do you know the address you sent MK to?"
"Yes. I told you, it's not the first time they've ordered"
"Yes, but do you know what it corresponds to?"
"Uuuhh... to a house? A shop?"
"It's a brothel. They opened it exactly 5 months ago"
