AUTHOR'S NOTES
I have written for Wings of Fire before, but that was only for the second Behind the Lockers story featuring the characters from literature works, and Wings of Fire had a couple of featured characters. In this story, I went with the SilkWings as the main dragons of the story, while the main central protagonists are Geoffrey, Lucia, Elincia, and Bastian (all of which are from Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance). This is also on my Archive of Our Own page for viewing, and is cross-posted manually.
I do not own the characters presented in this crossover fanfiction, all rights go to the owners.
I hope you enjoy this story.
TALE OF DRAGONFLY
A Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance - Wings of Fire Fantasy/Adventure Crossover

CHAPTER 1
The Tale of the SilkWing Dragonfly
Dragonfly–an ancient SilkWing known for his wise words of wisdom and great prowess. However, due to his ancient nature, outside humans thought that he was just a myth. Princess Elincia of the country of Crimea located on the continent of Tellius told countless stories and other tales about Dragonfly. Geoffrey, one of her milk siblings, wanted to travel to the outside realms to see him personally. But, like other outside humans, Geoffrey was told that Dragonfly was a myth.
"But it said in my books he lived…" said Geoffrey.
"Geoffrey, not all stories are true." said the wind sage Bastian.
"Hmph." grunted Geoffrey.
"Well, that's the end of that." Elincia said as she later shut the book she was reading to Geoffrey, his sister Lucia, and Bastian. Geoffrey went outside.
"What did I even say?" asked Bastian.
Lucia didn't know. Not even Elincia.
"I'll go outside and see what's gotten into him." said Lucia.
"Very well, Lucia." said Elincia. "However, I can tell you now that Dragonfly is a complete myth." she later said as she walked away from Lucia with Bastian.
Lucia later went outside.
When Lucia went to see Geoffrey, Geoffrey was angry and disappointed at the same time. He thought that all that time, the SilkWing Dragonfly was real.
"Geoffrey, not all myths can become true." said Lucia.
"Hmph." Geoffrey grunted. "I've wanted to see Dragonfly for real."
"Oh, I'm sorry, Geoffrey." Lucia said as she hugged him. "Usually these things are real outside of our world. But don't worry. Maybe someday, you can become someone who studies dragons: A Dragonologist."
"Lucia, get off me!" said Geoffrey.
Lucia panted in distress. "Geoffrey! Wh-wh-what the hell?!" asked Lucia.
"I'm not talking to anyone until I hear the phrase 'Dragonfly is not a myth'!" yelled Geoffrey after he mounted his solid-colored white horse. Geoffrey later galloped off into the unknown.
"Geoffrey…wh-what have I ever done to you…" asked Lucia to herself.
"Lady Lucia!" yelled a Crimean soldier.
"What has happened?!" asked Bastian. "Where is Geoffrey?!"
"Geoffrey ran away after he argued with me!" yelled and panicked Lucia.
"What?!" asked the Crimean soldier.
"Geoffrey…ran away?!" asked Bastian. "Why?!"
"He said something about searching for the mythical SilkWing Dragonfly." said Lucia.
"The Ancient SilkWing known as Dragonfly?" asked the Crimean soldier. "...Hmmm…."
"What are you going to do?" asked Bastian.
The soldier then wanted to have Lucia fetch his horse.
"Very well, then." said Lucia.
"If Geoffrey is going to run away, I'm not allowing it!" said the Crimean soldier as he pointed to the sky. Lucia later returned with the soldier's horse. The soldier mounted up, and then went after Geoffrey.
"What happened?" asked Elincia after she went outside to see Lucia and Bastian.
"Princess Elincia! Geoffrey ran away!" yelled Bastian.
"Ran away?! Why?" asked Elincia.
"Because he argued with me about Dragonfly…I guess I'm the one to blame." said Lucia. "….I'm sorry…my princess…..forgive me." said Lucia as she kneeled.
"It's alright." said Elincia. "Geoffrey was probably upset."
"Hmph." grunted Bastian. "Pathetic of Geoffrey to think of the unreal truths of outside worlds."
