CHAPTER 8

Wasp's Sisters

The sisters of the HiveWing Queen Wasp, which were Bloodworm, Cicada, Hornet, Mantis, Tsetse, Vinegaroon, and Yellowjacket, were all displeased with Geoffrey. All of them, who were at that point exposed as being racist to Tellius' beorc people, were chasing after the SilkWings and HiveWing Longhorn, who wanted to expose Geoffrey as a killer to Queen Wasp. However, Geoffrey didn't kill Wasp; he just left her injured in the Poison Jungle.

When the group reached the Hives, everyone was outside Cicada Hive.

"Wait a second!" yelled Luna.

"What is it, Luna, my love?" asked Swordtail.

"Bloodworm's catching us." said Luna. "We must hide. Quick!"

Bloodworm, accompanied by Sister Vinegaroon, were both prosecuting the SilkWings.

"Where is the man that attempted a murder on our sister?" asked Wasp's sister Vinegaroon.

Geoffrey shoved Luna and Swordtail, and branded his lance at Vinegaroon and Bloodworm.

"You think you can threaten us with that human spear, Geoffrey?" asked Bloodworm.

"First of all, you are all racist HiveWings." said Geoffrey.

"Geoffrey's right." said Lucia.

"You must leave Dragonfly alone." said Elincia.

"Yes, Princess Elincia's right, sisters of Queen Wasp." said Luna.

"And why do you think that we should leave Dragonfly alone?!" asked Mantis.

"Dragonfly…Dragonfly is….an ancient entity to all of Pantala's lands." said Queen Monarch of the SilkWings. "I have told countless tales of his works for generations."

"And therefore, the wisdom of Dragonfly is important to us and the lands fo Pantala." said Queen Sequoia.

"Please." said Belladonna. "Care for Dragonfly. Care for his tales. Pantala needs him more than ever."

Wasp's sisters thought twice.

"I don't care about Dragonfly!" yelled Hornet as she sprayed toxin. While everyone managed to dodge the toxin from her tail, Geoffrey began to fight Wasp's sisters while Bastian managed to cast Vortex wind magic at Bloodworm and Mantis.

"Gosh darn it, humans!" yelled Bloodworm.

Elincia mounted her pegasus and chased after Mantis, Vinegaroon, and Hornet. However, as Elincia was chasing after the three HiveWings, all of them got lost in the Poison Jungle.

"Worthless." said Elincia. "They deserved it."

Elincia later flew back to Cicada Hive.

Back at Cicada Hive, there was still the vicious Yellowjacket, Tsetse, and Cicada to worry about. There, Bastian was mixing his Wind magic with Luna's flamesilk powers.

"That's interesting." said Swordtail.

"Mixing wind magic with flamesilk is something I thought I would never see." said Io.

When the processing of Bastian's wind magic and Luna's flamesilk was complete, Bastian used the magical combination on Yellowjacket, Cicada, and Tsetse. All three of them were blinded temporarily, and all three of them flew away.

"Take that, HiveWing sister of the dreadful Queen Wasp!" yelled Lucia.

"So…can we go back to Crimea now?" asked Geoffrey.

"That's why I came here." said Dragonfly. "Which one of the beorc is Geoffrey?"

Geoffrey stepped forward. Dragonfly wanted to see him.

"Yes, Dragonfly?" asked Geoffrey.

"Geoffrey, as a faithful Crimean soldier that Queen Monarch has told me about, I heard that your loyal Princess Elincia has been telling good stories about me to you, your sister Lucia and Count Bastian. That true?" said Dragonfly.

"Yes." said Geoffrey. "People back in Crimea thought you were a myth."

"Well, you know how outsiders can be when it comes to the lost continent of Pantala." said Dragonfly. "May I speak with Her Highness, Princess Elincia?" asked Dragonfly to Geoffrey.

Elincia stepped forward to Dragonfly; Dragonfly then told her to come closer to him.

"Yes, Milord Dragonfly?" asked Elincia.

"Princess Elincia Ridell Crimea, I know your people think that I am just a myth." spoke Dragonfly.

"Yes." answered Princess Elincia. "People in Crimean territories do not know about Pantala and its lands." the Queen said.

"Hmmm…I see." said Dragonfly.

"Butpeople must think you are real if I am telling stories to them." said Elincia. "I may be Crimea's young princess and heir to the throne, but still. The Ancient Lord Dragonfly is real."

"For Lord Dragonfly!" yelled Pantala's SilkWings.

"Dragonets save Dragonfly!" yelled Pantala's LeafWings.

"Long may Dragonfly Live!" yelled the allied Pantala HiveWings.

"I thank you for aiding me." said Dragonfly.

Queen Monarch, queen of the SilkWings, stepped forward to Elincia. "Elincia, you and your fellow beorc may return to Crimea. I know it may seem like a long journey, but we can help you back there." said Monarch.

"I can come too, right?" asked Sequoia, Queen of LeafWings.

"I'll have you accompany me, Sequoia." said Monarch.

"Actually, I would like to come to Crimea too." said Luna. "Swordtail and I want to learn more about Crimean culture and what beorc citizens are like there. Plus, a date might do, too."

"Can we come, Your Majesty, Queen Monarch?" asked Swordtail.

"Of course you can come." said Queen Monarch. "After all, I am destined to learn more about Crimea too, and what its royalties and royal divisions are like."

Elincia and her friends, all of whom were accompanied by SilkWing Queen Monarch, LeafWing Queen Sequoia, and SilkWing romancers Luna and Swordtail, went back to Crimea.
