It had been about a week since the date and all Arizona could think about was callies kiss. It may have only been a light and simple kiss. But it was still a kiss like no other and all Arizona knew was that if a kiss felt like that, what would more feel like. Today Arizona had a jam packed day. She worked till 5 then needed to go to the grocery store to get dinner. She came into work late because she had her annual physical exam. Arizona was a very firm believer in keeping up with her health and wellness. It's also why she went to the gym three times a week.

Arizona wanted to invite Callie over for dinner. She wanted to cook something nice for her. So she sent the pretty brunette a text. They had swapped numbers during dinner.

Arizona

Hey Callie i was wondering if you wanted to join me at my place for dinner?

Callie

Alright! But no funny business young lady!

Arizona

I swear just dinner lol!

Callie

Alright its a date! See you at 7?

Arizona

7 is perfect.

Callie

Maybe a little funny business. ;)

Arizona needed to get back to work. Not that she wanted to. She quickly typed out her address and sent it to Callie. She had an impending date she was looking forward to tonight. She wanted to rush through work but she couldn't really do that in her line of work. She just had to be patient.

Callie on the other hand was all done with her meetings by 4 pm and off to go home and get ready. Callie was nervous and excited for this date. Home dates had certain implications to them. And Callie didn't know if she was ready for that step. But she really wanted to enjoy a nice meal with a certain blonde haired blue eyed woman.

Callie was ready by 6 and going insane. She didn't have much to do as she already had make-up on. The longest part of getting ready was picking out a new outfit. An outfit that said a lot and very little all at once. She chose a black satin dress that stopped at her knees and black wedges. Hair up in a bun.

Back at Arizona's house she was busy making chicken alfredo lasagna with garlic bread. Probaby not her best idea if she wanted a teenage make out session on the couch. But that's ok she thought to herself. What's done is done. She continued the process. She was pulling out all the stops. Home made everything. Only thing boxed was the pasta because her pasta rolling skills were sucky. So that's what she bought. But she made the sauce and garlic bread herself. She was thinking about making some steamed vegetables on the side but didnt know if that was over the top.

Her doorbell rang at promptly at 7. But she had a camera on her doorbell so she knew that Callie had actually been pacing on her porch for the last 15 minutes with a boutique of yellow daisies in her hand. She started at the door at a fast pace but then slowed down not wanting to seem urgent and needy.

"Hey! You look beautiful" Arizona said as she opened the door and saw a beautiful Callie standing there.

"Hello these are for you! And you clean up pretty well to missy." Callie said, holding the flowers out to arizona. Arizona was wearing a yellow sun dress and a pair of tan flats. Hair cascading over her shoulders.

" Please come in and thank you, they are beautiful. I'll put them in a vase now." Arizona stood to the side so that Callie could step in.

They walked down the hall and into the kitchen where she had an island in the middle with two chairs and two glasses of red wine set up. Arizona reached on top of her stainless steel double door fridge and for her vase and brought it down. It was a very beautiful iridescent one. She filled it with some water and sprinkled the little food packet in there.

"Here, let's have a seat and eat." Arizona offered.

"Well it smells amazing." Callie offered.

"Thank you, I made chicken alfredo. Green peppers and yellow peppers. With garlic bread and steamed broccoli." Arizona rambled off the night's menu.

They sat down and Arizona dished up each of them a hearty helping of lasagna and a piece of bread and broccoli. They started out quiet but then conversation started rolling.

"So I know you're 30. You're from West philadelphia. And you love doing hair. What else is there to know about the impressive and beautiful Arizona."

"Well most people think my name is after the state but it's not; it's after the battleship. My grandfather died saving some other men on. I come from a long line of veterans. My grandfather. My father and my brother tim. All served. I have one nephew turner, my brother is currently overseas. I'm close with my mother. And father. I call them every Monday night at 6 pm. What about the stellar Calliope torres?"

"Well I'm 32 i think i told you that. I have one sister. Aria. I'm not close with my parents. They have some trouble with my lifestyle. But we still talk occasionally. My sister is older. I graduated early. Got my masters in law and have a reputation. I only represent people who come to me with strong evidence they have been falsely accused, i have a dog his name is monkey. He's my good boy.

They kept talking and eating. The conversation just rolled for them. When they were done Arizona got up to clear the plates.

"hey let me get these you cooked." Callie offered to take the plate from Arizona and grabbed the other one.

"Would you like a second glass of wine?" Arizona offered while Callie rinsed off the plates. And stuck them in the dishwasher.

"I don't know I am driving." Callie spoke softly.

" or you could stay… or rideshare home." Arizona offered up a solution hoping the older woman would choose to stay."

" yah i could." Not going into detail on what she was going to do.

Arizona poured two bigger glasses of wine for them. She hopped up and grabbed their cups.

"Want to go sit on the couch?" Arizona asked hopefully.

"Sure." Calie followed Arizona through the doors on the side of the kitchen that swung open.

Callie and Arizona sat close to each other on the couch. They stared at each other for a few minutes. Both their hearts raced with anticipation. Callie made the first move. She leaned in slowly. So slowly she thought it took an hour. And gently kissed Arizona's lips with her own. At first they just gently kissed drawing back every few seconds and leaning in again and again. Then Callie got daring and brushed her tongue against Arizona's lips asking to be let in. Arizona immediately let her in. Their tongues swirled and Callie ran her tongue along Arizona's teeth.

They kissed like that for a few minutes before hands got involved. First Arizonna placed her hands on Callies thighs. Then Calllie brought her hands up to cup Arizona's cheeks. They continued to kiss pretty heavily. Then all at once both girls started to lean back with Callie climbing on top of Arizona.
