Dunsparce519: Izzy will always keep getting herself in trouble. The relationships will be separated soon, and Scott is devious enough to win.

acosta perez jose ramiro: Thanks.

WarriorTwin: Second thanks.

Mortal01: Scott would obviously use the doll to his advantage, and Damien's luck will improve. Chase and Gwen would never hook up even without the rule. In this universe, Trent is simply friends with Gwen and Chase. Jasmine and Rodney will be handled this chapter, and the callback was fun to write. Ripper did help out, but he didn't demand appreciation for it. We're trying to spread the spotlight out to everyone unlike canon and give people something to do, and we're glad to know that we made Rodney enjoyable. There was nothing to stop Izzy from making her mistake, and interesting elimination prediction.

Killer Bass: Damien, Eva, Geoff, Jasmine, Priya, Rodney, Sam, Scott

Screaming Gophers: Brick, Chase, Gwen, Millie, Ripper, Sky, Trent

Episode 9: Paintball Deer Hunter

"Last time, on Total Drama Island! Both teams set out on a canoe trip to deadly Boney Island!"

"Chase hit on Gwen at first, but Trent made up for it by setting him up with the girl that actually wanted to hang with him, Millie."

"There were winners. And there were losers. Also known as, The Gophers. The last marshmallow was set to go to either Izzy or Sky, but the RCMP swooped in and bam! Izzy hightailed it outta there!"

Chris laughed. "Man, I knew the girl was nuts, but I didn't know she was totally insane! However, one Bass may have secretly done something even crazier when he brought home a creepy stick statue voodoo thingy from the deadly haunted island. Will Scott live to regret his souvenir? And can my teeth possibly get any whiter?" He showed off his teeth and blinded the camera with its shine. "Find out here on Total. Drama. Island!"

(Theme Song)

A peaceful tune opened the episode alongside a scene of a rabbit hopping across the common area; the shadow and sounds of a helicopter disturbed the tranquility as Chris, in a pilot's uniform, flew over the cabins and winked at the camera.

The shot cut inside to the boys' side of the Bass cabin as Sam screamed and fell out of his top bunk thanks to the helicopter noises, waking up his bunk mate Geoff.

"Can't they wake us up normally instead of doing stuff like this?" Rodney asked while in his own bunk bed.

"Apparently not," Scott answered as his bunk mate above him, Damien, rolled his eyes.

Cutting back outside, the helicopter flew over to the Gopher cabin, causing Millie to hit her head on the bunk above her and moan. "Chris is seriously getting on my nerves with the stuff he pulls."

Confessional: Millie

"Back home, there are these motorcyclists who ride their vehicles around my neighborhood, and somehow, they manage to be quieter than Chris," Millie recalled.

Confessional Ends

The scene flashed ahead to the communal bathroom. Chase and Ripper were already inside and were doing their own things; Chase brushing his hair and Ripper washing his face.

"I'm surprised Izzy's gone," Chase said. "I mean, she was wild, but she was also cool."

"This rots!" Ripper complained. "I was digging this girl and now that the RCMP is after her, I won't get to impress her with my charms."

"You two would definitely hit it off," Chase agreed.

"Say, I saw you and Millie canoeing together last challenge," Ripper brought up and grinned teasingly. "Do you have a crush on this girl or what?"

"Millie is cute, and she was extremely happy to be with me, but I want to take it slow and not get her hopes up that fast," Chase explained.

"So is that a 'yes' or a 'no'?" Ripper asked in frustration. "I don't like being confused."

"Yes yes yes," Chase nodded quickly.

The piercing sound of feedback drew the boys' attention. "I hope you're ready for the most challenging challenge yet!" Chris announced through a loudspeaker. "Breakfast in three minutes at the campfire pit!"

Confessional: Ripper

"I never thought that a geeky girl like Millie could get someone like Chase to like her," Ripper said in disbelief. "Usually, guys go for the more popular girls, and they come to the studs," he flexed his muscles with a smug smirk.

Confessional Ends

The static cut to the campers assembled before Chris. "Are you ready, for today's EXTREME MAX IMPACT CHALLENGE?!" the host asked them excitedly. The campers just stared at him blankly, and Chris rolled his eyes. "Whatever," he said, throwing a can at the teens – it was caught by Trent just before it hit Sky, and the two smiled at each other.

"This," Chris said as he tossed cans to the campers, "is breakfast."

Eva caught her can. "Usually, breakfast is crepes, croissants, or burnt eggs, but I like a change," she said.

"Cool!" Sam said as he examined his own can. "Beans have a lot of protein, and video games have food for the characters to eat and become more strong!"

"Today's challenge is about survival," Chris continued. "We're going hunting!" He pulled out a lime green gun from behind his back, which got the attention of a few campers.

"Yes!" Brick cheered. "I've always wanted to do a hunting challenge!"

Damien stepped forward and looked at the firearm. "Is that a paintball gun? Topher would complain about the stains on his hair if he was still here."

"Yes it is, Damien!" Chris answered happily, shooting at the nervous boy but narrowly missing.

"So we won't be killing anything?" Priya asked from the host's other side.

"Negatory!" Chris told her. "This is the first ever paintball deer hunt! I'll announce the teams once we get into the woods! Sooo, finish brekkie!"

As soon as he finished, a belch was heard, and everyone turned their eyes onto Sam, who was holding an empty can of beans. "Excuse me," the gamer said with a chuckle.

The music picked as the scene skipped forward again, showing the two teams standing apart from each other. In front of them, Chris stood next to a large rack, upon which several colored paintball guns were hanging.

"And now for the team breakdowns," the host announced. "The Killer Bass hunters are," he began to reach for another lime green gun, "Eva, Geoff, Sam, and Scott!" They caught their weapons confidently. "Lock and loaded with Bass Blue paint!" Chris told them before moving on.

"And using orange paint," the host grabbed a magenta gun off the rack, "are the Gopher hunters! Brick, Chase, Millie!"

"Locked and loaded!" Brick saluted.

Chris smiled, putting on a pair of orange-tinted safety glasses and camouflage-print hat. "You also get these stylin' glasses an' wicked camo caps! The rest of you," the camera turned to show the remaining campers and two deep notes were struck in the music, "are now deer. Here are your antlers, noses," he held up an antler headband and a small stick-on nose, "aaaand little white tails," he finished by turning around and wiggling his own fake tail with a laugh.

"You've gotta be kidding!" Ripper exclaimed.

"Take these off and your team is toast!" Chris put the deer attire on Ripper, causing Scott to snicker.

Unfortunately, Ripper grabbed the farmer by his shirt. "What's so funny?" he asked.

Scott's amused expression immediately dropped. "Nothing. I was laughing about something else," he lied, and Ripper dropped the devious farmer to the ground.

The Bass logo appeared in the top right corner as the team's four deers were shown walking through the woods.

"Thankfully, us deers have a head start, but we need a plan," Priya said.

"I say we split up," Jasmine offered. "That way, the Gophers won't find us as easy."

"You don't have to tell us twice," Damien said.

"Jasmine, I have to-" Rodney said before Damien, Priya, and Jasmine took off in different directions, making him frown, "-talk to you."

Confessional: Rodney

"Today's the day I confess to Jasmine how I feel about her," Rodney said. "I would recite a poem to her, but I'm going to follow Priya's advice this time."

Confessional Ends

The scene cut over to the four Gopher deer, their own logo sliding into view in the corner.

"This may be the lamest thing I've ever done in my life," Gwen complained.

"I don't necessarily find being a deer exciting, but it won't kill you," Trent replied to the goth's comment.

"Not unless the bears are attracted to deer-wearing humans," Gwen said.

"I'm going to go hide. No way am I getting splattered with paint," Ripper declared and ran away.

Gwen followed his direction, leaving Sky and Trent alone. The two of them shrugged before going the opposite direction of Gwen and Ripper.

A short triumphant melody was played over a shot of Geoff, Scott, Sam, and Eva putting their hands together. "And break!" Eva said as they broke and put on their glasses.

"Hey, I know our strategy is to stick together, but I was thinking that I should be on my own," Sam suggested.

"Why?" Eva asked.

"That way I can look for the deer hiding in bushes or trees and splatter them out of the game," Sam admitted. "A gamer should always be aware of their surroundings."

"Whatever you say," Scott agreed in boredom. "Let's just get this challenge started already."

In agreement, Sam went off alone, and Scott, Eva, and Geoff went together.

"Start your paintballs!" The loudspeaker was shown again as Chris signaled the beginning of the challenge. "Game on!"

"Alright!" Chase cheered. "Let's bag those deer!"

"I appreciate your enthusiasm, Chase," Brick said, "but we are not going in bullheaded."

"Especially when there are three hunters on our team and four deer on theirs," Millie backed the cadet up.

"So what are we going to do?" Chase asked Brick.

"Simple. I'll track down two of the deer, and you and Millie can track down one," Brick said. "And don't stop hunting until the challenge is declared to be over since the Bass is hunting our team's deer as well."

"Understood," Millie nodded.

"As long as I can shoot paintballs at someone, I'm all for it," Chase said.

Confessional: Brick

"I've handled guns in training, but I've never used a paintball gun before," Brick admitted to the audience. "Luckily, these types of guns don't have any life-ending bullets."

Confessional Ends

The footage skipped ahead to Jasmine quietly walking through the forest. "If I was a hunter, I'd definitely look in the bushes, so that's a place I'll avoid hiding in," the Outback girl decided.

She stopped walking once she heard the bushes rustling, and when she turned around, she saw Rodney coming out of them. "Rodney?"

The country boy brushed the leaves off his body. "Hi Jasmine. I was just looking for you," Rodney said.

"Why? We should be hiding, what with us being deer and all," Jasmine wondered.

"I know, but I have something to tell you," Rodney said before clearing his throat. "Jasmine, ever since the Awake-a-thon, I've felt a spark between the two of us. You helping me out of the tree made me see how considerate and sweet you are."

Rodney got on his knee. "I've been bottling up my feelings, but now I want them to be opened so that you would know that I'm in love with you."

Jasmine had a stunned expression on her face, but she still responded. "Rodney, that was very touching coming from you, but I'm not able to reciprocate your feelings."

Rodney's smile began to falter. "How come?"

"I only see you as a friend. A goofy one, but still a good person," Jasmine admitted. "The other reason is because-"

Whatever she was going to say next got interrupted by a paintball being shot in their direction, and it hit Rodney in the back. "I'm hit!" he yelped. "Protect yourself, Jasmine!"

Jasmine saw that Chase was the culprit, and as he focused on his gun, the Outback girl quickly dived in the bushes in order to avoid being suspected.

"Score one for Chase!" Chase cheered before looking at Rodney and saw no sight of Jasmine. "Where did Jasmine go?"

"I'm not telling you, but good luck with your hunt," Rodney told him. "I'm gonna go for a walk and think about what just happened."

Confessional: Jasmine

"I wanted to converse with Rodney more, but we are still in a challenge where you could get taken out at any opportunity," Jasmine claimed. "I just want to make sure he's not too heartbroken."

Confessional Ends

Meanwhile, Sam was hiding in a bush. He was observing Gwen eating blueberries from a bush.

"In order to take her and her team out of the game, I need to be strategic and stealthy," Sam silently said to himself. "I can't be out in the open yet." The gamer then burped, alerting Gwen a bit, but she moved on from it.

The scene cut to Ripper near the mess hall. As he hid under a table, Chef came out of the building wearing swim trunks and an inner tube. Whistling, he made his way past the camper and across the common area.

Once he was gone, Ripper came out of hiding and went into the mess hall.

Confessional: Ripper

"You can call me crazy for going into a psycho chef's kitchen, but I'm hungry," Ripper spoke out. "I would've eaten my fish tails, but I threw them away in the last challenge."

Confessional Ends

The scene cut back to Sam, who was now ready to shoot Gwen. "Moving on in 3…2…1…"

He was then interrupted by a hissing snake. "DON'T BITE ME!" Sam threw the snake away, and his reaction caused Gwen to notice and scatter.

Sam got out of the bush and was now chasing her. "Prepare to get splattered!"

Back at the dining hall, Ripper had gotten the chips and was in the middle of heading out, but he saw Chef coming in, so he quickly hid under a table and watched him stroll past him.

After Chef passed through, Ripper quietly slipped out the table and rushed outside. Feeling victorious, he looked at the chip brand, and was disappointed by what it was. "Barbeque? I thought it was sour cream and onion. Whatever."

Sam chasing Gwen through the woods and shooting his gun was shown again. "No matter how far you run, I'm not giving up!" Sam declared.

They then reached a stream. Gwen was able to run through it with no difficulty, but Sam tripped on a rock, causing him to face plant into the water.

(Commercial Break)

The scene focused on Ripper in the woods holding the bag of chips. He then heard the sound of someone sneezing. "If you think you can shoot me without me knowing, you're dead wrong!" he said.

The sneeze was revealed to be coming from Rodney, who ducked out from a tree and followed Ripper. "That was me, and I can't shoot you since we're both deers and I already got shot," he said.

"Good," Ripper huffed. "I'm not surprised that you already got taken out considering how large you are, Big Boy."

This got a glare from the country boy. "You don't have to be so rude all the time," Rodney lectured before noticing the chips. "Where did you get those from?"

"I stole them from Chef's kitchen," Ripper bragged. "You would not believe how much food he's holding out on us."

"You actually went into his kitchen?" Rodney gaped.

"Pretty impressive if I do say so myself," Ripper gloated, "but not by much since I didn't get my favorite chip flavor."

"Can I have them if you're not going to eat them?" Rodney asked.

"Go ahead," Ripper shoved the bag into Rodney's arms. "I ate half of the bag though so I wouldn't be starving."

Rodney turned his attention to the chips. "Barbeque? That's my favorite flavor," he smiled.

"Knock yourself out," Ripper said before they parted. As soon as they did, Ripper got shot in the arm by a paintball. "Hey! Who did that!?" he shouted before being hit in the back of the head, sending him to the floor.

The shot switched to show that Eva, Geoff, and Scott were responsible for the shots, and they smiled as their target was down.

Back with Gwen and Sam, the two were shown running uphill on a cliff. "You've been running for too long!" Sam yelled at his target while still firing shots. "Just let me shoot you and it'll be done!"

"No way!" Gwen shouted back, but then came to a halt. The shot zoomed out, revealing that she'd been cornered on top of the highest cliff on the island.

"Nowhere to run now," Sam pulled the trigger, but nothing came out. "Huh?" He repeatedly pulled the trigger, but no paintballs came out.

"Looks like you lost your ammo," Gwen pointed out. "That almost makes all this running around pointless."

Sam watched Gwen push him aside as she walked away. "Sorry about that. I just got excited," he apologized.

Millie was cautiously looking around as she walked in order to look for any deer. "I wonder how Brick and Chase are holding up right now," she said to herself.

While looking behind her, she didn't take notice of Chase running in front of her. The two of them crashed and landed on the ground.

Chase was the first to get up and helped Millie up on her feet. "I'm glad I saw you. I have great news," he explained.

"Aren't you going to apologize for bumping into me?" Millie crossed her arms.

"Oh right. I'm sorry about that, but I just spotted someone from the opposing team, and I wanted to let you know," Chase explained.

"Okay. I'll come with you," Millie said and followed Chase to their destination.

The camera changed to Rodney walking about as he was eating from the bag of chips. "Mmm. These chips are super tasty. Who knew they could make me feel better after what happened with Jasmine?"

The shot soon panned down to show that he was obliviously leaving a trail of crumbs behind him.

\

Meanwhile, Millie and Chase were seated behind a log. "There's Jasmine," Chase pointed at the girl sitting up on a tree branch. "She was hard for me to locate, but I found her there eventually."

"If you saw her, why not shoot her?" Millie questioned.

"I already shot Rodney," Chase answered, "and I wanted you to shoot somebody."

"You'd really do that for me?" Millie asked.

"Just splatter her with paint before it's too late," Chase advised.

Millie aimed her gun at Jasmine, and after getting a thumbs up from Chase, she pulled the trigger, and a paintball shot Jasmine in the chest, making the Outback girl fall off her tree and land in a bush.

Millie frowned. "I hope I didn't hurt her."

"She'll be fine," Chase shrugged it off. "And besides, we only have two more targets."

"Thanks for helping me by the way," Millie smiled.

"No biggie," Chase said. "I just want us to stay safe in the game."

The shot cut to the Bass trio looking around when they saw Sam coming their way. "Did you manage to shoot any deer?" Eva immediately asked.

"I tried to shoot down Gwen, but she was too fast for me and I've run out of ammo now," Sam recapped.

"Cool," Scott smirked in relief.

Eva managed to hear that. "What was that?" she squinted heavily at the devious farmer.

"I said it'd be cool for Sam to stick with us now," Scott added.

Eva was not amused. "Right," the muscle woman said unconvinced.

"For now, let's keep looking around, but in total stealth mode," Sam suggested.

"Absolutely, but before we go…" Eva said as she whipped out her gun and shot a paintball behind her. The camera focused on the paintball until it hit Gwen, who was attempting to hide inside a bush, in the leg.

"Wow," Scott said in surprise while Geoff and Sam widened their eyes.

Confessional: Eva

"I always keep track of my surroundings," Eva explained simply. "Nothing gets past me."

Confessional Ends

The footage cut to Brick hiding behind a tree. "This is almost starting to feel like a disappointment," he grimly spoke. "It has been two hours, and I have shot nothing. But I still need to be prepared for anything that comes in my way."

The cadet suddenly heard a sound of laughter, and he peeked his head out of the tree to figure out the source, which turned out to be Priya giddily jumping from tree to tree by flips and vaulting from the branches.

"And it seems like I found my target," Brick grinned in determination as he took out a long piece of rope.

Priya was now sitting on a tree branch and snacking on some blueberries she had found in the bushes a couple of minutes ago.

"I can't believe I haven't been shot at all," Priya said to herself. "I just have to keep this up and we win."

The reality TV fan then noticed a chipmunk climbing up the tree, and she decided to grab it. "Hey there. Would you like a blueberry?" The chipmunk nodded its head, and Priya proceeded to feed the chipmunk, unaware of the fact that a piece of rope was being swung around the branch.

Priya decided to let the chipmunk go after she was done feeding it. "I'll get back to being undetected after I-" she said before the branch broke thanks to the rope being pulled back tight, making her plummet to the ground on her back. "Who did that?!"

"That would be me, ma'am," Brick came into view before shooting her in the face. "I would apologize for taking you out like this, but it is the rule to splatter the opposing team."

"I was so close," Priya moaned in defeat.

The focus was now on the trail of chip crumbs Rodney was leaving behind while he was walking.

Confessional: Rodney

"I may be out of the challenge, but walking around the woods is at least making me productive, and the challenge hasn't ended yet, so we can still win," Rodney said. "I will switch to blueberries once the chips are finished."

Confessional Ends

Rodney had finished all the chips and threw the bag away. He then noticed a bush of blueberries next to him. "Berries? Alright!"

Rodney grabbed some of the berries from the bush until he suddenly heard a growl behind him. He turned to see a big grizzly bear growling at him, crumbs around its mouth.

"Oh, hello. Would you want some berries?" Rodney asked the bear generously as he offered a handful, but the bear roared at him, leading to the berries being blown away.

Confessional: Bear

The bear poured the bag of chips into its mouth, but since it was empty, all they got was crumbs, much to their disappointment.

Confessional Ends

Priya is now leaning against a tree and looking around doing nothing.

"Do you need something to wipe your face off?" Priya turned around to find Damien standing behind her.

"Sure," Priya said, and Damien handed her a tissue so that she could wipe the paint off.

"I'm heading back. This game must be almost over by now," Damien said as he was about to walk the opposite direction.

"You're going the wrong way," Priya said. "Camp is this way."

The two just decided to go where they believe camp is, but since they can't see where they're going, they accidentally bumped into each other… and their antlers got stuck to each other.

"Can you get off me?" Damien grunted.

"Can't. We're stuck," Priya said.

Confessional: Priya

"We could've taken those antler hats off, but Damien would obviously tell Chris about it and we'd be disqualified," Priya commented. "To be honest…" a tiny smile formed on her face, "I was kinda enjoying it."

Confessional Ends

The footage cut to Brick popping out of the bushes, and after watching the two Bass and their predicament, he grinned and took out his gun. "Fire!" he cried with gusto, and Priya and Damien cried out as they were covered in paint.

"Attention, human wildlife and hunters!" Chris' voice was heard over the loudspeaker, making Damien, Priya, and Brick look up. "Please report back to camp! It's time to show your hides and tally up the scores!"

"Tsk tsk tsk," Chris said as he paced back-and-forth in front of the campers. All of the Bass and Gophers, with the exception of Damien and Priya, were back at camp. Rodney was currently in the infirmary tent in a full body cast after the bear mauling he received, his mouth and eyes being visible through his bandages and cast. "Stealing from Chef. Eating chips in the woods. Being mauled by bears. Do you know what I see here?"

The campers were all listening in disappointment. "I see a very undisciplined group. I see a disgraceful mess. I see a massive waste of paint product," Chris continued. "And I have to say... that was awesome!" the host changed his tune and chuckled. "When you guys opened fire on each other? Wicked TV, guys." Geoff and Sam fist bumped each other.

"Hey," Eva spoke up, "where are Damien and Priya?"

"Check this out," Scott nudged Eva as he and everyone watched Priya and Damien come into the scene walking together due to their antlers still being tangled up.

"Oh, this is too much," Gwen commented.

"How were you two able to get in this position?" Trent asked.

"Long story short, we bumped into each other and this happened," Damien detailed.

"Our medical tent's really only equipped for one at a time and Rodney's pretty messed up," Chris said as Geoff helped Priya and Eva helped Damien.

"Well, since two Gophers and all four Bass have paint on them, I think we have our winner!" Chris announced and the Screaming Gophers cheered. "You're off to a hunting camp shindig!"

Chris turned to the upset Bass. "Bass, I'll see you at the campfire ceremony. Again."

Confessional: Rodney

"I know I'm not in the best condition," Rodney admitted in his confessional while still in his body cast and wheelchair, "but I can recover pretty fast and continue to help the team more in future challenges."

Confessional: Sam

"Who did I vote for tonight?" Sam started. "I hate to do this to a friend, but Rodney's not in the best condition right now."

Confessional: Eva

"I voted for Rodney," Eva stoically confessed. "Who else can I choose other than him?"

Confessional Ends

"There are only seven marshmallows on this plate," Chris said to the Bass during the ceremony. "When I call your name, come up and claim your marshmallow. The camper-"

He was cut off by Eva. "Who doesn't get one has to leave and can't come back. GET ON WITH IT!"

Chris shot her an annoyed glance. "Fine, whatever. Spoil the moment." He picked the first marshmallow off the plate and tossed it across the campfire.

"Sam."

"Priya."

"Damien."

"Jasmine."

"Scott."

"Geoff."

"Campers," Chris said, holding up the last marshmallow, "this is the final marshmallow tonight." Rodney and Eva were shown looking at each other, then each looked at Chris with dread. The host eyed the final marshmallow, and uttered a single name. "Eva." The muscle woman caught her marshmallow.

"Rodney, the Dock of Shame awaits, bro," Chris told the wheelchair-bound boy. "I guess we can help you get there."

"I'll do it!" Jasmine volunteered and began pushing Rodney to the dock.

"Sorry, Rodney!" Priya said.

"See you, dude," Sam waved.

The shot cut to Jasmine and Rodney at the dock.

"We didn't want to do this, but it is for your own good," Jasmine gave off an apology.

"I understand, even if I'm a little disappointed," Rodney said. "Also, what was it you were going to tell me before we got interrupted in the challenge?"

"Oh right. I don't have feelings for you. Somebody on the other team has caught my eye, and I don't want to complicate things by having two boys pining over me," Jasmine explained. "I do hope you understand."

"I never knew about this, but if it makes you happy, then I do hope you two develop a healthy relationship," Rodney said. "I'll be fine, I promise."

The Boat of Losers arrived, and Jasmine placed Rodney on it. "Here's hoping you get a safe recovery. Take care," Jasmine said goodbye to Rodney as the boat drove him away.
