It was very obvious to all of Yuya's friends that something was bothering him in class that morning. So at lunchtime Gongenzaka, Sawatari, Shun, Yuzu and her counterparts, and Yuya's counterparts all cornered him in the courtyard.
"Yuya, what's wrong?" Yuto asked. "You've been spacier than usual in class."
Yuya and Yuzu's counterparts had all gotten their own bodies back shortly after the war ended. How that happened, nobody had any idea, not even the counterparts themselves. But Yuya had mixed feelings about it at the moment. He had gotten used to being able to confide in Yuto his concerns whenever he had them, and once they were separated it was harder. He sometimes had to wait hours at a time before he saw Yuto.
Yuya sighed. "So uh, apparently I have a secret admirer. And they sent me roses but… they sent them to my house."
"You don't like roses?" Sawatari asked. Yuya sighed again. "No, I do like roses, it's just… they sent the roses to my house. Which means they know where I live. And I don't know who they are. For all I know they could be a complete stranger! So I'm a little worried."
"Oh, yeah, that sounds like a legitimate concern," Yuri said with a grin. "Just imagine if it's some random obsessed fan that you've never met! Maybe they're following you around!"
"No! Stop!" Yuya covered his ears. "Lalalalalalalala I'm not listening!"
Yuri snickered, and Yuto angrily smacked the cabbage in the back of the head. "Stop scaring him!" Yuri pouted as he rubbed his head.
"Well, maybe it's just one of your friends?" Yuzu pointed out. "Maybe someone who developed a crush on you from spending time with you, getting to know you, rather than some stalker? Maybe even someone who was with you in the war?"
"I mean, it could be," Yuya said doubtfully. "I would feel a lot better if I knew for sure that was the case though."
"I, for one, would not be too happy if it turns out you do have a stalker," Gongenzaka said with a scowl. Shun was also scowling, "I think you should have an escort to and from school for now, just to be safe. At least until we know for sure that this secret admirer isn't a threat." Everyone else nodded in agreement, and it was settled.
