Also to the question, no this is not connected to Different Tale of Ash. I figured to use some of the anime episdes as ways to move the story forward, in case I couldn't think of anything or how to proceed things forward. I only used the Samurai for the previous chapter on the account the original idea I had for said chapter. Would've involved Team Rocket doing some experiments in the forest and causing the Spinarak and Ariados to act up- but scrapped it on the account it was way to on the nose, and wouldn't really make much sense to introduce Team Rocket that early. So replaced it with the Samurai kid/man in the chapter instead, fawning and becoming obsessed with meeting and fighting powerful trainers that comes through Viridian forest- reliving the glory days of his battle against Blue, Green and Red eight years ago.
So yeah this fanfic is still connected to "Congratulations on completing the Pokedex". But you can make it your headcannon if you want, even though I don't generally like headcannon all that much.

Chapter 6: A hero's reward, Ex Champion intervenes!
Pewter city, home of the Rock/Ground type gym and home to Brock of said Pewter city's gym. The night cold breeze blows through the city thanks to the mountains surrounding the area. Son and Daughter of Miss Arma and Green," Came the voice as Robert and Leaf slowly reached for their Pokedex slowly while they watched Daisy outright attacking and thrashing Blue a new one, making the two teenagers to slowly look to each other and smiled sheepishly to then looking down at their Pokedex and opening it up- they then felt their face faltering as they saw that they are allowed to challenge the Gym league across one of the menus. "Then yeah we will allow them to compete together and inform the Gym leaders if they see these two. To make sure it will be a double battle for their gym league."
The voice continues speaking through the phone speakers as Blue is shouting and screaming for help as Daisy has him in a choke hold and literally squeezes the air out of him. "Come on little bro, we need to spend some bonding time together. AND ME GIVING YOU A FUCKING GOOD REASON WHY WE CALL YOU BLUE NOW!" She yelled and screamed out as Blue's face slowly turned blue and then slowly to purple as his hands began pounding and slapping the floor.
"We have it all set up now and that Robert Arma and Leaf Greens will be able to compete in the Pokemon league competition in double battles with the gym leaders and league. We agree that we need to change things up and who better to promote this concept than these two! Thank you for the suggestion Blue, please give our regards to the kids and let them know they have our support."

After that was said and done along with Robert and Leaf trying to find ways to cancel their registrations but failing multiple times. Had given up and accepted their fates as they turned from the computer and face back towards the Oak siblings. Who were still going at each other throats and thrashing about, having both Robert and Leaf and anyone in the Pokemon center for that matter to enjoy the show and how easily Kanto's eighth gym leader. Is being pummeled and beaten up by his own sister.
After everything had calmed down and Blue regained breaths back into his lungs and even picking up his phone began standing up and saw Robert and Leaf holding Daisy back as she tried to lunge at him again and caused Blue to squeak and shield himself by raising his arm and legs upwards. But quickly relaxed and saw the teenagers had his sister in their holds. "Anyway…" He began saying while then quickly adjusting his clothes and dusting off any dirt and dust he may have gotten from the tussle. "It's settled and the committee has agreed to make the arrangements for the two of you under my behalf." He said while cockily grinning to the annoyed teenagers.
"The only way you're going to be able to enjoy your adventures and see the world out there. Is to become strong and capable trainers!" He said and stretched both of his hands outwards. "And considering how well you two battled the Samurai man at Viridian forest, and him telling me how amazingly well you both did as a team. No way, will I let freshly new trainers go and waste their talents like that just by exploring and not competing in the Gym league." He then leans forward and raised a finger. "Especially from my hometown too! No siree, I won't accept or allow pansy trainers squander their potential like that."
"Excuse me? Pansy trainers squandering out talents? Are you fucking fo real?" Leaf growled out and jabs a finger towards him. "We don't need to prove ourselves or do Pokemon leagues to show or test our potential BLUE! Robert and I are capable of having fun without-" then growled as he waved Leaf off and ignored her as well interrupting her.
"Please, of course the two of you want to challenge the league." Blue then smirked and did a two finger salute. "It's in your family's blood to do so anyway! Green, your mother was a very powerful and strong female trainer that could easily rival both Red and I." He then turned to Robert who was very annoyed and frustrated at the man. "While Miss Arma, from what Grandpa had told us, was one of the most formidable trainer's in the Unova region, her Jolteon. Is even capable of defeating and going toe-to-toe against Ground type Pokemon!" He then began walking off and waving his hand. "So why squander a legacy of allowing their kids to roam the world, and not living up to their families reputation! Anyway, can thank me later for getting you both signed up in the Pokemon league. Smell ya later!" He said and began exiting out of the Pokemon center.
Once he was out and completely gone, Robert huffed and rested a finger against the bridge of his nose and grumbled out. "Daisy no offense…but I hate your brother."
"Welcome to the party, you're not the only one who hates him." Daisy responded back with a growled and fuming at what her brother just did! Let alone, doing it without the people's consent. She then tried to relax by breathing in and exhaling out, hanging her arms down and slumping her shoulders as she then turned towards the two. "Well…you two can still ignore the gym league and competition. There's no rules stating or saying you HAVE to compete?"
Joy then spoke up, "She's right, you can always send a message and quit the Pokemon league competition. Nobody will fault you for that." Nurse Joy said and saw the two teenagers looking to her, then towards Daisy and then at the door that Blue left. While then both sighed softly and Leaf looked to the side of her face.
"No…no, it's fine, we'll compete. Be bad if Blue or somebody who knows my mom. Start spreading rumors and misinformation about her daughter that ruins her family's reputation by quitting the Pokemon league without getting started." She then hugged herself and closed her eyes. "Dad will definitely probably not like it either if he gets wind of it." Having Robert hang his mouth open ajar and then breathed roughly.
"Yeah…he would." He then shook his head and groaned. "I am in the same boat, my older brother is out there taking on the Gym league too and even though I haven't heard from him in a long while. Considering how many people compare me to him a lot, while being in his shadows for…who knows how long? It would be bad if people start spreading rumors about me and start taunting and teasing me about how I can't live up to the likes of my brother."
Daisy softened her expression and saw how distraught the two teenagers were, as she couldn't help but understand the emotions they're going through right now. Being shackled and chained by your family's reputation and achievements when they used to be Pokemon trainers. And using said family legacy against you and forcing you to enter the Pokemon league without your consent? A weapon that is truly the most evil way to blackmail and force someone to do something that they didn't want to do. "I forgot that you had a brother Robert…and since he started his journey when the two of you moved here in Kanto…yeah, people will probably treat either one of you differently."
This had the Pokemon who were awake and overhearing the conversation going on inside their Pokeballs. Look towards one another and soften their gazes and expressions, as at first they were excited and happy about taking on the Pokemon gym league and making their trainer's happy! And even getting noticed and famous as well, only to hear this and realize that the only reason they were entering the league- is because of Blue interference and forcing them to partake in the league, all the while using their family's legacy as a leverage to slash blackmail into competing.
They all firmly nodded and silently promised to each other that they will do EVERYTHING they can to make sure they will win and defeat all the gym leaders in the while fueling the firing for Eevee and Pikachu's plans further, to finding beautiful and strong female Pokemon to become part of their team, as even Leaf's Vulpix is now more determined to helping them out now and wanting to find fun and exciting Pokemon not just for Robert, but also Leaf. They then went ahead and relay their ideas to Buneary and Snivy of what they were discussing and talking about, having the two females widening their eyes and then firmly nodding their heads in agreement.
After all the two of them are fun to hang around with and always chipper and upbeat0 till Blue motherfucking Oak came along and ruined the fun by forcing their trainers into something well, it has already been said and done and repeating themselves wouldn't solve anything. First thing first however is that, if they want to add beautiful, sexy, fun and exciting female Pokemon onto their teams? They will need to be sure to train and become strong themselves in order to catch said Pokemon.
Without much else to do and asking Joy for directions of where the Pewter city gym was. Robert and Leaf head out of the Pokemon center with Daisy, to go and locate the gym. Unaware that what Blue had planned for the two of them in their League competition will be one that everyone will remember and possibly even changing fate in the future! What adventures and exciting battle await our heroes at Pewter city gym? As their journey continues…
