"Is that…?"
"Oh my goodness, it is!"
"No way… she's alive?!"

"My my, someone's popular." Neptune said.
"I don't know any of these people." Weiss said, awkwardly rubbing her arm.
"Hey Weiss, good to see you!"
"Wait, am I seeing things? …Nope, I'm not!"
"Here we are!" Sidon said. "My father will be anxious to see you. Just come on by when you're ready! He's at the top floor."
Sidon walked off as Weiss looked around as the younger Zoras smiled and waved… while the older folk gave her dirty looks.
"Miss popular." Neptune continued.
"More like "un-popular" with the older folks." Weiss said. "I wonder why… do they not like Hylians? …Or in my case, Lanayrans?"
"Heck if I know." Neptune shrugged. "Let me show you around."
"Okay." Weiss nodded as the duo wandered around.
"So here's the inn… you got comfortable beds, you got those extra comfy water beds-"
"Oh my goodness!" The innkeeper smiled. "Weissy! It's been so long! I can't believe you're alive!"
"I… can't believe it either…?" Weiss said awkwardly when suddenly her Sheikah Slate went off. "Huh? There's a shrine here?"
"Oh yeah, there's a shrine just down there." Neptune said. "You a fan of shrines?"
"Well… for some reason, these shrines in particular tend to make me stronger. Can you show me where it is?"
"Of course!" Neptune nodded as they walked out of the inn. "Oh, but first, take a gander of this memorial right here." He said. "This right here is a statue of Mipha."
"Mipha…" Weiss looked at the statue before frowning. Hmm, guess I wasn't affiliated with her. She thought. …Why do I feel a wave of sadness though?
"Come on!" Neptune walked down the stairs with Weiss as they saw the shrine in question. "And here's the shri-" He noticed Weiss running down the stairs and hopped on. "Well, someone's eager. Now exactly does it make you stronger anywa-"
The shrine activated when she put her Sheikah Slate in the pedestal.
"Huh?!" Neptune said in surprise as Weiss walked in and went down the elevator. "How did she…? …Wait up!"

BGM: Shrine (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild)
"To you who sets foot in this shrine… I am Ne'ez Yohma. In the name of the Goddess Hylia, I offer this trial."
Pushing Power
Weiss walked forward to see what she had to deal with. She saw a large watery ramp with obstacles in the way. Not only that, but there seemed to be an endless supply of boulders rolling down the ramp. She also spotted a laser shooting into a wall.
At the other end of the ramp was a circular ramp with a hole, fitting for a large orb. She looked up to see it at the very top.
"Okay…"
"Wow!"
"Wah!" Weiss yelped as she turned to see Neptune looking around.
"So this is what it looks like on the inside. Pretty cool honestly." Neptune turned to Weiss. "Jumpy, are we?"
"I'm just not used to people joining me in here… not to mention everyone just likes to sneak up on me."
"That must happen a lot."
"Mmm… you could say that."
"Soooo… what are we gonna do with this? Run to the end without getting bowled over?"
"Actually, I have a better idea." Weiss said as she started running up the ramp.
"Okay, running toward danger… that's fine. Not really!" Neptune ran after her, avoiding the boulders as best he could. "I didn't sign up to be a Neptune pancake!"
Weiss saw a treasure chest up above as she used Cryonis to get herself up there.
"Whoa!" Neptune whistled. "This girl's full of surprises…"
Weiss climbed up and hopped on the obstacle, opening it up to get herself a Zora Spear. With a smile, she put it away and noticed Neptune climbing up.
"Okay, I'm not sure how I managed to climb over that ice block…" He said as Weiss helped him up. "Thanks. Sooo… you do this often?"
"You'd be surprised." Weiss chuckled as she walked up the platform before hopping off as she examined the orb up top.
"Sooo, you have to deal with this while worrying about the avalanche of boulders."
"Oh, I'm not too worried over it."
"Why's that?"
"The avalanche stopped."
Neptune looked behind him, seeing that the balls had stopped rolling down the ramp. "Ah… how did I not notice…?"
"Hmm…" Weiss rubbed her chin, taking note of the water falling through the water, then she looked down to see the bottom of the ramp that fell toward the abyss as the gears in her head started to turn. "Ah!" She proceeded to use Cryonis on the ball, as the block pushed it off the pedestal.
"Okay, it seems like you have an idea." Neptune said as Weiss quickly ran down the ramp, jumping over the laser and landing at the bottom as she got into position. Once the ball rolled down, she immediately used Stasis on it as she used the Zora Spear to stab it a few times, and then once Stasis stopped, the ball changed direction and went straight for the switch.
"...Huh?!" Neptune blinked, rubbing his eyes to make sure he wasn't just seeing things.
Weiss nodded in approval at her handiwork and turned her head to Neptune. "You coming or what?" She asked as she walked off toward the shrine.
"...I just witnessed a goddess in action…" Neptune whispered in awe before he shook his head. "Hey, wait up!"

Resume Zora's Domain - Day BGM
Weiss warped out with Neptune. "Whoa…! Okay…" Neptune got his bearings straight as Weiss casually walked up the steps. "Arms. Legs. Fingers. Toes. Hair. Ears. Eyes. Stomach. Feet. Hands. Phew… everything's accounted for."
"It's safer than you think." Weiss said.
"I was materialized as a blue wisp thing, cut me some slack if I feel like I'm missing something!" Neptune said as he followed Weiss, where he found her in the store where she handed over some Ore, and then noticed the Luminous Stones she got were glowing.
"Oooooh… so they glow when there's no light. Cool." She nodded as she handed them over, and then bought a handful of Ice Arrows, along with some fish.
"Allow me to show you a cool spot." Neptune said as he guided her to some pools. "Here we have a spring where we can unwind."
"Oh cool." Weiss said, as she glanced at some older Zoras who gave her dirty looks. What's with them? She wondered as she turned her head to see a black haired girl wading her feet in the pool while reading a book. "Is that-"
"The girl I mentioned? Yes." Neptune nodded.
Weiss walked over to the girl. "Hey, uh… nice book you're reading." She said as she glanced at the title of the book.
Sheikah of Love
"Oh, I guess you like romance novels."
"Hmm?" The girl looked up. "Oh, I didn't realize someone was talking to me. Apologies, I've just been waiting out the storm. Anyway, you could say it's a romance novel."
"I see." Weiss nodded. "What's your name?"
"Blake Belladonna, I'm from Lurelin. Yours?"
"Weiss Schnee, I'm from Lanayru Mountain."
"You're a Lanayran? I could have sworn they went extinct." Blake said. "...Weiss… I swear I've heard that name before."
"Soooo, what brings you here from Lurelin?"
"Oh, I came here to fish for exotic fish that you don't typically find at Lurelin. It's just my luck that it decided to rain the moment I walked into Zora's Domain. Thankfully, I brought a few novels with me."
"Well, glad you have something to keep you busy." Weiss nodded and then looked at her bow. "It's a nice bow you have."
"Thank you." Blake smiled. "Although, frankly, I've been meaning to get rid of this."
"What for?"
"Eh, had it when I was a kid and it's been worn out for a while." Blake responded. "...Though, now that I'm talking about it…" She decided to grab her bow and pulled it off, to which Weiss looked at her head in awe.
"Hmm?" Blake noticed this. "What's wrong? Is there something on my head?"
"N-no! I was just surprised how… shiny your head is."
Blake chuckled. "What… were you expecting cat ears~?"
"N-no! Not at all! I totally wasn't thinking you were a cat!"
Blake laughed. "I'm kidding." She waved it off. "I do have to say though… you came at a wrong time, what with this perpetual rain."
"Actually, I think I came at a perfect time." Weiss said as she turned around. "See ya."
"See ya." Blake waved as she rubbed her chin in thought. "Weiss… Weiss… where have I heard that name before?"
"You actually got her to speak with you?" Neptune asked as he and Weiss walked up the stairs. "All I got was a grumble or something."
"Well, she was engrossed in a book, so she probably never heard you."
"I guess… what was that book she was reading anyway?"
"Sheikah of Love."
"I think I've heard of that series…" Neptune said. "Then again, I've also heard the series is very erotic."
"I doubt it."
"Trust me, I've heard some people were looking at some Sheikah's… katanas."
Weiss raised an eyebrow. "Okay, so I guess they're admiring their metal blades?" She shrugged as she walked over to the Hylia Statue.
"Heh, cute…" Neptune chuckled at Weiss's innocence as she gave the Hylia Statue some Spirit Orbs. "So what exactly do these Spirit Orbs even do-" His jaw dropped as he saw the Hylia Statue shining a red and green aura on Weiss.
"Oh, I feel more powerful and I feel like my stamina's way better."
"Oh sure, you get all that, yet when I pray to the statue, I get nothing…" Neptune grumbled as Weiss made her way to the top of the stairs.
"Ah! There she is." Sidon smiled. "Weiss, I'd like you to meet my father, King Dorephan!"
"What's this now?" Dorephan asked as he leaned forward in surprise. "Weiss, is that you? Good heavens, it's been ages since I've seen you!"
"Um… to… you… as well…?" Weiss tilted her head. "I'm sorry, do I know you?"
"Me? I'm King Dorephan, Mipha's father! Remember?"
"Um… I do not. I woke up from like… a hundred year nap or so."
"Oh…" Dorephan sat back in disappointment. "Yes, that would be a problem…" He mused before smiling. "Still! To think that you're alive and well means there's hope for Hyrule yet!"
"Wait a minute… a hundred year nap?" Sidon wondered as his eyes widened. "You're actually THE Weiss Schnee, the chosen Mage Knight from Princess Ruby! I thought your name sounded familiar… I apologize for not recognizing you sooner!"
"I… wish I can remember you." Weiss frowned.
"Oh, how some of us wish we could forget you." A voice mumbled as they turned to see a flat headed green Zora giving Weiss a dirty look. "It's because of you that Mipha's no longer here. If it wasn't for Princess Ruby recruiting Lady Mipha and her friendship with the Lanayran, she'd still be here!"
"Now now, Muzu. There's no need for hostility. No one was able to predict Calamity Ganon's assault, he caught everyone off guard." Dorephan said. "We should not blame Weiss for Mipha's demise."
"Hmph!"
"Um…" Weiss awkwardly rubbed her arm. "I'm… sorry?"
"Apology not accepted!"
"You have to forgive him, Weiss. The elderly folk loved Mipha really much." Dorephan said.
"Soooo… all of them hate me. That explains the dirty looks…"
"Don't worry about it. I know for a fact that everyone tried their best!" Dorephan smiled.
"I… sure hope we did…" Weiss chuckled nervously.
"So, I hear that you are going to try to stop Divine Beast Vah Ruta."
"I'm going to try, yes."
"What?!" Muzu looked on in surprise.
"That's the spirit! Vah Ruta has been causing this nonstop rain. You may think it's not so bad for us Zora, but, considering the dams are close to bursting… it will flood all across Hyrule. The last thing Hyrule needs is a flood after the Calamity…"
"Surely you can't be serious!" Muzu protested. "Why should we have the fate of Zora's Domain be in the hands of this Lanayran? Haven't we suffered enough? It's bad enough that that Lurelin girl's here! They eat nothing but fish!"
"Muzu, we eat fish. It's in our diet." Sidon reminded.
"Yes, but there are rumors that Lurelins eat Zora! I'm not willing to see if those rumors are true!" Muzu turned around. "Bah. I'm not going to risk Zora's Domain's fate by some recently revived Lanayran."
He walked off in a huff.
"Oh… Muzu… come back here!" Sidon walked after him.
"Is he… always like this?" Weiss wondered.
"Grief is a very powerful emotion that holds on to folks longer than it needs to." Dorephan said. "Everyone deals with grief differently… but I do not hold my daughter's death against you."
He smiled. "Speaking of which, I think you will need something to help your fight with Vah Ruta. This armor was crafted by Mipha, who was going to propose to someone really special."
"Who was it?"
"Ah… no one knows for sure. She mentioned his name in her diary but that's been lost for a while. I think his name was… Whit-something?" Dorephan shrugged. "However, it'd be a waste if this wasn't used, so I'd say you get to wear it instead. She was your friend, after all."
He pulled out a treasure chest and handed it to her as Weiss opened it up. "Huh…" She mused as she looked up. "Um… do you mind?"
"Oh!" Dorephan looked away as Weiss put on the clothing that Mipha had made.
"Okay, I'm done!" Weiss said as Dorephan turned around to see Weiss wearing the full Zora set.
"Ah, it's as if she was about to propose to you." Dorephan teased.
"This feels a bit… weird, yet strangely comfortable. How would this help me?"
"Basically, it makes you swim faster and you can swim up waterfalls."
"Really? Huh, that's cool." Weiss said. "I should go see Sidon…"
"If I had to take a guess, I'd say he's with Muzu near Mipha's statue. I think Neptune went with him."
"Okay." Weiss nodded as she walked off.
"Rrrrgh…" Muzu grumbled. "The nerve of that Lanayran coming back…"
"Muzu, Weiss and Mipha were good friends! I remember her when I was just a small boy." Sidon said.
"This isn't about that! It's about how she came back to ruin us even more!"
"Okay, simmer down, ya old codger. Weiss didn't mean for Mipha to die just like that." Neptune said.
"Says you!" Muzu glared as Weiss approached them.
"Am I interrupting something?"
"Rrrgh…" Muzu glared. "Of course, you just have to be wearing the armor of Mipha's deceased boyfriend…"
Sidon smiled. "I'd say it looks good on her."
"It does not!" Muzu argued as Weiss approached Mipha's statue again, taking a closer look at it. "Why, if she thinks she can wear that armor-"
"Oh, give it a rest." Neptune said.
Pause BGM
As the trio were chatting and trying to get Muzu to see reason, Weiss narrowed her eyes at the statue while she tuned out their voices.
She gasped, widening her eyes in shock, flashing back to the past.
BGM: Mipha's Theme (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild)
"Nnngh…" Weiss groaned, holding her wrist.
Mipha gently put her hand on her wrist, healing it. "That was quite a nasty fall…"
"You're telling me. I didn't think Vah Ruta's trunk would have been a bit slippery."
"I had just given herself a bath… I should've warned you earlier. Though, it is rather warm today, so I thought it would have dried off."
"Nope…" Weiss shook her head. "Heh… well, this sucks…"
Mipha smiled. "It happens to the best of us, Weiss… after all, I'm always happy to heal you or Princess Ruby."
"Yeah."
Mipha giggled. "Although, I'm sure if Revali had seen you, he'd never let you hear the end of it."
"Oh, there's a lot of things he likes to tease me over." Weiss shook her head fondly. "What am I gonna do with him?"
"Indeed~" Mipha giggled. "Now then, let me see your back for a second."
"I'm sure it's fine…"
Mipha lifted up Weiss's shirt, seeing scratches all around as some even poured out a little blood. "I beg to differ." She said as she put her hands on her wounds.
"Did I seriously biff it that bad?"
"A sprained wrist, scratches on your back… who knows about your ankles."
Weiss laughed pathetically. "Great…"
At that moment, Vah Ruta suddenly lowered her trunk back into the water. "Hmm?" Both ladies wondered as the trunk raised up as Sidon emerged.
"Oh! Sidon! What are you doing out here, you silly boy?" Mipha asked as Sidon approached Weiss and hugged her. "Oh, you were worried about Weiss, were you?"
Weiss chuckled, patting Sidon on the head. "Your brother's so cute…"
"He is." Mipha smiled, winking at Sidon. "Now then, let's see your ankles."
"Ooooh… of all things to shatter, it had to be my pride."
"Better your pride than a broken bone. Of course, I'd heal it up too." Mipha nodded as she looked at the state of Weiss's right ankle. She immediately brought out a wooden block and placed it in Weiss's mouth.
"Wha aw uo-"
"This might sting a bit." Mipha said, putting her hands on her ankle… where Weiss immediately felt stinging pain that made her nearly fall over the moment she started healing. In fact, her eyes went over to the back of her head as Sidon immediately held Weiss's hand for her to squeeze.
Mipha pulled away. "All better~!" She said as she noticed Weiss having fallen on her back. "Oooh… I think I should have given her some anesthesia…"
Sidon curiously poked Weiss on the cheek, hoping she'd respond as Mipha gently picked up Weiss and put her over her shoulder.
"Come on, Sidon. We should have her rest at the inn for a bit."

Resume Zora's Domain - Day BGM
Weiss snapped out of her memory, and immediately shuddered at Mipha healing her broken ankle. In fact, just thinking about it made her ankle hurt.
"You were always so kind…" Weiss softly said.
"Hmm?" The three of them looked at her curiously.
"What did you say?" Sidon wondered as Weiss turned to look at him.
"You really have grown so much the last time I've seen you." Weiss smiled genuinely.
Sidon's eyes widened. "You… you remember me?"
"Yes. I do."
Sidon grinned excitedly. "My little buddy has returned at last!" He exclaimed happily, hugging Weiss.
"Wah!" Weiss yelped as she had been picked up and smothered in his fishy chest. "Mmmph! Camph… breamph!" His hugs weren't this forceful!
Sidon let go of Weiss. "Ah, apologies! I'm just so happy that you remembered an old friend!"
"Mmmm… well, if she remembers Mipha, then… I guess I can… tolerate her." Muzu grumbled.
"So… how are we going to stop Vah Ruta?" Weiss asked.
"Well, Vah Ruta has plenty of defenses that can knock even the strongest swimmer off course." Sidon said. "Not even Neptune would be able to knock her defenses down."
"Oh, you're a strong swimmer?" Weiss asked.
"Dang straight I am! Though… for a while, I… wasn't."
"What happened?"
"Ah, Neptune was swimming around in the lake with me when all of a sudden, a Lizalfos nailed him with a Shock Arrow that put him into cardiac arrest and nearly drowned him. Luckily, I was able to get him out while some of our skilled archers killed the beast. Though some CPR, I was able to revive him… and yet, he was afraid of the water for a long time."
"Oh my gosh…" Weiss whispered.
"It took several therapy sessions to where he was able to get near the water once more."
Neptune chuckled. "I had a good bro to help me out."
"Indeed!" Sidon grinned with a shimmer in his teeth.
Weiss smiled. "That's good… but how do we put a stop to-"
"That's easy. We will need shock arrows to knock out the four generators on Vah Ruta. That will be able to slow her down and give us access to her on the inside." Sidon said. "The bad news is how to get the Shock Arrows."
"How bad?"
Sidon pointed to a cliff. "It's on Ploymous Mountain… but it's home to a Red Lynel."
"Lynels… unfortunately, I don't remember fighting such a beast."
"Ah, in time, you'll remember… but Lynels are very vicious creatures. Though, we should count our blessings that it's a red Lynel and not… that one."
""That one"?"
"Are you referring to the Silver Lion?" A voice asked as they turned to see Dorephan approaching. "Ah, sorry for the interruption. I got a bit concerned over Muzu. I'm sure he hasn't given you trouble?"
"Not much. I did regain my memories over Mipha though."
"Excellent!" Dorephan smiled.
"So what's this "Silver Lion"?"
"Ah… yes…" Dorephan mused. "You see, there is this legendary Lynel that is extremely dangerous. One day, way before the prophesized day of the Great Calamity, this Lynel showed up. It is unlike any other beast in this land… now, normally, the strongest Lynel there is an ordinary Silver Lynel or the rare Gold Lynel. However, this Lynel is known as the Platinum Lynel. There are theories that suggest that the Great Demon King created such a beast to terrorize Hyrule before his return."
"Oh gosh…"
"The Platinum Lynel is not to be messed with. Normally, Lynels are typically territorial, but are noble enough to give you time to run away from it as it stares you down as if it is studying you. As long as you do not draw a weapon, Lynels typically leave you alone. However… the Platinum Lynel is different. As soon as it sees you, it will give chase and will hunt you down endlessly until you are weakened, as the Lynel will hunt you for days on end without rest. It collects heads and weapons as trophies… and it does not matter what you are, it will slaughter you. Fellow Lynels and even Hinoxes aren't safe from this beast. Not even a Talus."
"I've heard it managed to knock out a Gleeok without breaking a sweat." Sidon added. "A King Gleeok at that!"
"Indeed. This Platinum Lynel is extremely dangerous. It's known to have every elemental power you can think of. And… about five years ago, the Silver Lion had rampaged in a settlement known as Kuroyuri. The survivors fled and were taken in by the Rito in the Rito Village. Even the best bandit tribes are no match for it. The infamous Branwen Tribe? Wiped out, though there's rumors that a few may have survived…"
Weiss paled at the thought of the beast. "Wh-what does this Lynel look like?"
"Well, I can tell you this much… it doesn't look like an ordinary Lynel." Dorephan said. "We should count our blessings that-"
End BGM
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
The resounding explosion shook Zora's Domain, causing a few rocks to fall and several trees to fall over.
"What in Vah Ruta's name?!" Muzu yelped.
Sidon looked up to see black smoke rising from the mountain. "It's coming from Ploymous Mountain! Could the Red Lynel taught itself a new trick or…?"
Weiss clenched her fists. "I'll go take a look. Sidon, you check on Vah Ruta. Neptune, you're with me. The rest of you stay here!"
"Do be careful, Weiss!" Sidon pleaded as they split up, where Weiss dove off and landed in the water where Neptune followed suit.
"Hang on to me!" Weiss said as Neptune held onto her back as she started swimming toward the waterfall.
"Do you know how to swim up a waterfall?"
"I've seen Mipha do it. It shouldn't be too hard!"
"But that was a century ago!"
"True, but it's pretty much recent for me!" Weiss said as she reached the waterfall and instinctively swam up the waterfall.
"Waaaaaaaahhh!" Neptune cried, all the while Blake watched them from the comfort of the bathing area.
"What on earth…?" Blake wondered. "I didn't know she could do that." She said as she looked at Ploymous Mountain with concern.
Weiss landed on the ground as Neptune spat out some water. "So that's what it's like…" Neptune said as he saw another waterfall. "We're gonna do it again?"
"Yes, we are!"
"Alright then!"
Both took off running and then Weiss ascended the waterfall, and then another one awaited them.
After they ascended that waterfall, they landed on the ground as they hurried their way up toward Polymous Mountain, and as they got closer, they hid behind a rock as they slowly made their way up the slope.
Weiss peeked her head over the cliff. "Anything?" Neptune whispered.
"I don't see anything…" Weiss whispered back as they cautiously reached the top where they saw the damage in full.
BGM: Disquiet (Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity)
Large boulders were mere pebbles, trees were toppled over, the grass was singed, Shock Arrows were scattered everywhere…
And a lone deceased Lynel was lying on the ground.
Weiss got a closer look at the Lynel, seeing that its entire head was cut off, its weapons taken… and it also looked like it was skinned as well. She gently put her hand on the corpse, bringing her fingers to her nose and sniffed it. Definitely smelled singed.
She grimaced as she looked at the body as there were cut marks everywhere.
"There was definitely a struggle here…" She whispered.
"You don't think that it was… that, do you?" Neptune asked nervously.
"I have a pretty good feeling it was that." Weiss said as she turned to Neptune. "Go warn the Zora's to shelter in place for the time being, and then meet me back at Vah Ruta."
"You got it, Stay safe, snow queen."
"Same to you." Weiss nodded as she turned around and gathered the Shock Arrows that she could find. She turned back to look at the once proud boulders that had been reduced to mere pebbles.
Terror filled her body but she took a deep breath. Now was not the time to freeze in terror.
She walked up to the pathway to Shatterback Point where some trees and grass weren't touched as she grabbed some of the Shock Arrows in the trees.
She then looked down toward the East Reservoir Lake where Vah Ruta was making a mess of things. She also spotted the docks near the Divine Beast as she hopped off and glided her way to the docks where Sidon was waiting for her.

Sidon turned to see Weiss approaching. "Heeeey!" He waved her over as Weiss gently landed on the ground. "So, did you find out what it was?"
"The Red Lynel was destroyed… in fact, the peak of the mountain was destroyed. I'm pretty sure there were a few boulders too."
"Oh my… then that means the Platinum Lynel was just recently here!"
"It probably moved on, but I've asked Neptune to tell everyone to shelter in place for the time being."
"Good idea." Sidon nodded. "You have the Shock Arrows?"
"I've got them." Weiss smiled.
"Excellent!" Sidon hopped in the water. "Hop on my back! I'll take you to where we need to go."
"Right!" Weiss dove into the water and climbed on his back.
"You ready?"
"I'm ready."
"Then let's go!"

Sidon swam ahead as Vah Ruta let out an elephant like bellow as it started to shoot out ice pillars at them. "Ice incoming!" Sidon said as Weiss nocked an arrow and fired a few at the ice pillars to knock them down.
"Way to go!" Sidon praised as he soon reached a waterfall as Weiss hopped off and ascended up the waterfall where she launched high into the air and pulled out a Shock Arrow, firing at the first generator, then she glanced at the second one close by as she pulled out another one and fired, striking the second one just before it was out of range.
Weiss landed in the water as Sidon picked her up underneath. "Two for one! I never would have thought about being that efficient!"
"It was just a spur of the moment!" Weiss smiled as they went to the other side as Vah Ruta produced more ice pillars and sent them their way, but a few laser blasts knocked them down as they turned to see Neptune standing on the docks, shooting at the ice pillars.
"Thanks, Neptune!" Sidon waved as Neptune gave them a thumbs up as Sidon made his way to a waterfall as Weiss jumped in and did the same thing with the other two,

Vah Ruta bellowed as she lowered her trunk down into the lake, which in turn caused the rain to stop.
"Looks like this is where the real work starts." Sidon said as he took Weiss toward a platform on the Divine Beast as Neptune dove in and swam toward them. "Nice job cutting off the water flow from this Divine Beast."
Sidon then reached the platform as Weiss climbed over. "Good luck. I'll see you back at Zora's Domain." He said as Neptune climbed in. "Keep her safe, Neptune."
"I think you have that backwards." Weiss teased, causing the trio to laugh as Sidon swam away.
She then turned around and put the Sheikah Slate on the pedestal.
Travel Gate registered to map
"You're here…" A voice said as the duo turned around.
"Mipha." Weiss smiled.
"I must say… that I am so happy to see that this day has finally arrived. Now Ruta can be freed of Ganon's control. You'll need a map to prevent you from getting lost. There's a Guidance Stone that contains the information that you'll need."
"We'll save you, Mipha."
"My, she's got such a pretty voice."
Weiss nodded. "Yeah. Let's go."
BGM: Aboard Divine Beast Vah Ruta (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild)
The duo walked into the Divine Beast, where they saw malice blocking their way as an eyeball glared at them. "Whoa…!" Neptune said in surprise as Weiss shot an arrow into it to kill it.
Weiss walked in… only to fall on her knees.
"Whoa! Weiss!" Neptune knelt next to her. "You okay?"
"I-I'm fine… it's just… the air is so intoxicating…" She panted. "I think… whatever this is… has made the air so thin…"
"That's probably why I'm a little light headed myself…" Neptune said as he put Weiss's arm around him. "Come on, let's get that map and find some air."
"Right…" Weiss nodded as they trudged through as a Guardian Scout approached them, only for Neptune to shoot at it repeatedly until it fell over.
Then they walked into the water where Neptune shot at the eye underneath, freeing up the gate as Weiss weakly put up her Sheikah Slate but dropped it. Neptune grabbed it and looked at the runes.
"Okay, how does this work…?" He wondered as he called up a Remote Bomb. "No, that won't work… where's that ice thing… ah, Cryonis?" He selected it and moved it around until an ice block rose up to lift the gate up.
"Ha! Nice…" He smirked as he brought Weiss over to the Guidance Stone as she weakly put it on where some liquid dropped onto it, which showed an entire map of Vah Ruta.
"Good! You've obtained the map of the Divine Beast. You will see several glowing points on your map which represent the terminals that control Ruta. Take Ruta back by activating all of the terminals. Oh… and Neptune? Take Weiss outside. She will need fresh air."
"Already on it." He said as he made his way outside with a barely conscious Weiss.
The moment he brought her outside, Weiss gasped for air and breathed normally, coughing a few times while Neptune collapsed.
"Phew… thought I was gonna pass out there." Neptune said.
"Mipha… what was all that…?"
"Malice. It has been inside Vah Ruta for so long that it had made the air almost unbreathable. I hadn't thought much of it until I saw you nearly pass out. I'm so sorry…"
"It's fine… we're just gonna have to deal with it…"
"Quick question." Neptune spoke up. "In your Sheikah Slate thing, I noticed there was a picture of a girl on it. What was that about?"
"A girl…?" Weiss wondered as her eyes widened. "That's it!" She smiled as she quickly pulled out her Sheikah Slate and went to her Summon Rune, where she quickly summoned Penny, Terrako and Ilia.
"Salutations~!"
"Wh-whoa…!" Ilia said in surprise. "That's gonna take a while to get used to… wait, where are we?"
One bringing up to speed later…
"Wow! You've been through a lot today!" Penny said.
"Incredible…" Ilia whispered. "To think that I'm actually on a Divine Beast…"
Neptune leaned his arm on the wall, giving Ilia a flirty look. "Me too~"
"...Sorry, I don't swing that way."
Neptune jawdropped before frowning. "Aw man…" He then looked up at Penny and winked.
"Hmm? Is something in your eye?" Penny wondered.
"She's a robot." Weiss said.
"Aw come on…" Neptune pouted.
"...Wait a second." Penny looked around, closing her eyes. "Is that an SOS signal I hear?"
"Is it?" Weiss wondered.
"Requesting backup. The Calamity is proving too much. Please respond." Penny translated. "This SOS signal has been going on for the past century."
"Something tells me Mipha sent this out before she died…" Weiss frowned.
"Well, let's save her then!" Ilia nodded.
Terrako let out a few warning boops.
"He's right. The air inside the beast is dangerously low." Penny said before smiling. "Which is why I got something in mind~"
"What is it?"
Penny raised her hand up at the three. "Commencing operation: Breathable Air!" She said as her hand turned into an arm cannon and proceeded to fire at the three, where a green aura surrounded them.
"What the…?" Weiss wondered.
"You now have an oxygen shield around you. It will help you breathe when the air is thin. My mother built this inside of me for when she decides to go on hikes to Mount Lanayru where the air is less than pleasant."
"Smart thinking." Ilia nodded as they walked back inside where Ilia and Penny looked around the Divine Beast in awe.
"Weiss, can I see your Sheikah Slate for a moment?" Penny asked as Weiss held it up for her, showing the map of the Divine Beast as Penny scanned it. "Okay, done~!" She smiled, proceeding to pull up the map in front of everyone with her eyes.
"Whoa…" Ilia whispered.
"The five terminals are in these various spots. However, only the Sheikah Slate can activate them. As such, we will need to locate them and make it easy for Weiss to get through safely."
"Well, then what are we waiting for? Let's do this." Weiss said as they studied the map before they all split up.
Weiss remained in the area as the first terminal was nearby as she walked over toward the pool and used Magnesis to crank the gear around and lifted the first terminal out of the water. She hopped over and activated the terminal.
She turned around and hopped over, but then noticed a treasure chest in the pool. She used Magnesis to pull it out and opened it up… to find an Ancient Spring.
With the others, the quad made their way up only to come into contact with a Guardian Scout, this one pulling out a Guardian Sword. Terrako booped as he pulled out a few weapons of his own as the two proceeded to fight until Terrako defeated the scout.
"Nice one, bro!" Penny smiled.
Bro? Ilia and Neptune wondered as Terrako booped happily as they walked off, where Terrako spotted a terminal on the gear moving by water flowing into it.
Terrako hopped on the gear and then when he got close to the water, he tried reaching out for it, only to fall into the water. He crawled out and shook off the water as he climbed up the fountain and tried to latch onto the gear.
Problem was, it was further than it looked.
Weiss walked in and noticed the Guardian Sword on the ground, where she picked it up and stored it in her bag, then noticed what Terrako was doing. "Huh?" She wondered as she saw the terminal in the gear. "Oooooh!"
She giggled in amusement for Terrako's attempt, where she used Cryonis on the fountain, which startled the small Guardian. It turned to Weiss and let out a small "Thank you" boop as he walked over, only to see the ice had stopped the gear from moving.
Weiss hopped into the gear and put the Sheikah Slate onto the terminal, then hopped off and disposed of the Cryonis block, thankfully Terrako got off in time.
Weiss then turned to the bigger gear and rubbed her chin before she looked up toward the sky and snapped her fingers. She used the Sheikah Slate to manipulate Vah Ruta's trunk.
"Wait, Weiss!" Penny called out to her as Weiss looked over to see Penny having lifted up the orb inside by using her thrusters, having the door be open. "I have the door open for you!"
"Oh!" Weiss made her way over and walked up the ramp, activating the terminal in the door and walked out. "It's done!"
"Good!" Penny smiled as she let go and regrouped with Weiss.
At that moment, Neptune whistled over to them as they turned to see Neptune stepping on a switch where a chain lowered itself for them to grab onto. They headed over and climbed up the chain to reunite with Neptune, all the while Weiss noticed a Guardian Spear on the ground that she picked up herself.
"The hatch is open!" Ilia called over as she had used her weapon to open up the hatch where they fire geysers surrounding the terminal. Weiss manipulated Vah Ruta's trunk as she sprayed water into herself, dowsing the flames as Vah Ruta let out an elephant bellow.
Weiss walked over to the terminal and activated it, then she moved the trunk a little ways down as Penny lifted her up and flew her to the last terminal, which was on the tip of the trunk that Weiss activated once she was on it.
"Well done, all of you! There's a new mark on your map. Please don't let your guards down."
Weiss made her way to the area that was located on her Slate as she regrouped with the others and made their way to the new location, while Weiss also snagged herself a Knight's Halberd on the way over.
The group found the last terminal in the room as Weiss approached it, placing her Sheikah Slate on it… when suddenly, darkness formed around it as it shot off toward the opposite end where they all turned to see a monster forming in front of them.

Waterblight Ganon.
"Please take care! That… thing is one of Ganon's creations. I put up as much of a fight as I could, but it proved to be my demise a century ago. Regardless… I believe that you are well prepared for this moment. I have faith in you all!"

Weiss took out her Silver Longsword. "You guys ready?"
"Let's do this." Neptune said.
"Ready when you are!" Penny said, summoning her blades as Ilia took out her weapon.
"Ready!"
Terrako booped as well.
"For Mipha." Weiss declared as the Waterblight summoned its spear and swung at the group, but Weiss immediately parried with her Hylian Shield to set it off balance as Neptune proceeded to shoot at it with Terrako, the latter firing lasers at the beast.
Weiss used Cryonis to give Ilia a boost as the former ran ahead and slashed at Waterblight, who blocked with the spear… only for Ilia to jump in and struck the beast, electrocuting Waterblight and stunning it as it gave everyone the chance to attack with everything they had.
Once Waterblight recovered, he swung the spear to knock them all back as Weiss quickly summoned some glyphs and fired ice chunks at Waterblight while Penny fired lasers from her blades.
They can fire lasers?! This girl's something else… Weiss thought as Waterblight swung its spear at Penny, but she rolled out of the way while Neptuen climbed up on a cryonis cube as he jumped up, his gun switching toward its Trident mode and stabbed Waterblight in the eye.

Waterblight let out a loud cry as platforms raised up and it started to flood the area, forcing them to get on the platforms… when suddenly Waterblight froze the water solid and then summoned an ice mace.
BGM: Waterblight Ganon - Phase Two (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild)
"Ice?! Crap, I'm clumsy on ice!" Neptune complained.
"I'm not." Weiss said, jumping on the ice almost immediately as she ice skated toward Waterblight, where it swung its spear into Weiss but she bent backwards as the spear swung over her face as she then did a corkscrew spin, then fired a Shock Arrow into its eye while in midair, stunning it as the others jumped in and attacked, though Neptune slipped and slid around but regained balance.
Waterblight snapped out of it and swung its mace down, creating small shockwaves that knocked Terrako and Ilia back, then it threw its spear into Penny, where she rolled out of the way as it gained a new spear while the spear disintegrated before Penny could even think about taking it for herself.
"Hmmm…" Ilia looked at her surroundings and smirked, quickly doing some handsigns while Waterblight was focused on Weiss. She immediately blended in to the environment and hid near a wall, slowly making her way toward Waterblight.
Waterblight got into position and started to charge at Weiss, but she instinctively used Cryonis under her to lift her up as Waterblight smashed face first into the block to stun it, while Weiss switched the Silver Longsword to the Lightning Rod and proceeded to swing it down, firing electric bolts to paralyze the beast, giving Ilia plenty of time to climb on top and whipped it repeatedly.
Waterblight knocked Ilia off of it as it turned around and swung its mace at Ilia, but she got out of the way as Terrako ice skated and slashed at Waterblight, then jumped away as Waterblight turned toward Terrako and shot ice chunks at him, but he was able to dodge by sliding across the ice, and then Weiss swung the Lightning Rod at it again.
With a loud roar, Waterblight aimed a reticle at Weiss as she got into position. Weiss readied her shield to parry the laser… but suddenly Penny got in the way. "Penny, what are you-"
"I got this~" Penny winked as the blades danced in front of her and started to charge up… and once Waterblight fired, Penny fired as well, both lasers striking each other that resulted in a stand off, but Penny pushed the laser forward and engulfed Waterblight.
"Weiss, finish it!"
Weiss nodded, quickly ice skating toward the laser engulfed Waterblight and jumped up, aiming her bow and fired a Shock Arrow to finish off Waterblight.

The ice shattered as the water evaporated as only some malice remained nearby. Weiss ignored it and walked over to the terminal to activate it, while also feeling herself a bit stronger as well.
"Thank you, Weiss…"
Weiss turned to the source of the voice as did the others, where they saw Mipha's spirit appear.
"It's so nice to see you again… and Vah Ruta too." Mipha smiled.
"Mipha…" Weiss smiled back, feeling tears starting to overwhelm her.
Suddenly, the malice started to bubble over and launched itself toward Mipha. "Huh?!" Weiss said in surprise.
BGM: Desperate Situation (Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity)
"Ack!" Mipha yelped as it started to latch onto her. "Rrrgh! Nnngh…!"
"What's going on?!" Ilia wondered.
"I feel… as if I'm… being…" Mipha grunted as she tried to fight it off, but it was no use.
"Controlled!"
The malice overtook Mipha, turning her into a shadowy demonic version of herself as she summoned her corrupted Lightscale Trident, where she raised her hand up as the water underneath them bubbled and launched them all high into the air, spreading them out all over Vah Ruta.
"Nnngh!" Weiss grunted as she landed in the middle of Vah Ruta as Mipha approached her. "Mipha… snap out of it! MIPHA!" She yelled.
"It is no use. You will have to fight your friend." A demonic voice taunted.
Weiss let out a growl, clenching her fists. "You little…"

At that moment, Vah Ruta bellowed as she moved her trunk over and sprayed Weiss with water, forming a watery barrier around her.
Weiss looked up to see a bright light raining down upon her as Weiss reached up and took it, feeling magic coursing through her as Vah Ruta moved her trunk and the watery barrier disappeared.
BGM: The Champion Mipha (Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity)
Water conjured up in Weiss's hand as she smiled.
"Weiss! Are you okay?" Neptune called out.
"I'm fine! Just leave Mipha to me!" She called out as she got in a stance. "I know how she fights."
Mipha launched herself toward Weiss as the latter did the same, both of them clashing against each other as Weiss swiftly parried Mipha and slashed her a few times, only for Mipha to block every attack and sweep kicked Weiss.
Mipha then conjured up a water bubble around Weiss to trap her in, but she put her hand at the edge of the bubble and turned it into ice, making an ice barrier before it exploded, sending ice chunks everywhere and striking Mipha as Weiss lunged and slashed at her, before she got in a stance and spin attacked to send her back.
Mipha conjured up a jet stream and moved around Weiss, creating watery spears above her as they launched toward her but Weiss slapped her hand on the ground to create a water barrier to block them, then manipulated the water to strike Mipha to wrap around her and restrained her.
Weiss nocked a Shock Arrow into her Wooden Bow. "Sorry about this…" She said, firing the arrow… where at the same time, the Wooden Bow had been worn to the point that the string snapped off.
Mipha screamed as the Shock Arrow hit her as Weiss tossed the Wooden Bow to the side and switched to the Knight's Bow, planting more Shock Arrows into her to knock Mipha to the ground.
Water wrapped around Weiss's feet as she used a jet stream of her own and slashed at Mipha, who swiftly blocked with her Lightscale Trident, but was pushed back several feet as Mipha slid across the ground.
Mipha sneered as she launched a torrent of water toward Weiss. The latter put one hand up and did the same thing, both torrents colliding as they desperately tried to push against each other. Weiss dug into her pocket and reached for the Lightning Rod again as she put it inside her torrent of water, lighting it up as it wrapped around Mipha's as it started to electrocute her, causing her to scream as the Malice started to evaporate off of Mipha's body.
Weiss immediately formed a watery bubble around Mipha, and then quickly froze it up as she conjured up a water blade as she added electricity to it via Lightning Rod. She ran toward Mipha, getting rid of the ice barrier and slashed through her, the electricity getting rid of the remaining malice as Mipha fell on her knees in defeat.

"Uuuungh…"
Weiss immediately got to her side. "Mipha… Mipha, can you hear me?"
"I can hear you…" Mipha said as she smiled at Weiss. "Thank you… I had no idea Calamity Ganon could do that to a spirit…"
"You're safe now… you're okay…" Weiss smiled, helping Mipha up as the two friends embraced while the others approached her.
"I… know you have healing magic, but… it can only do so much if you are mortally wounded." She put her hands on Weiss, closing her eyes as she felt a warm embrace over her. "I call this Mipha's Grace. It'll allow you to survive even the most fatal attacks."
"I think I could use that." Weiss chuckled.
"Now… let's take on Calamity Ganon together. Destroy him for good."
She nodded. "Right!"
"However… before I get Vah Ruta situated… I would like one request."
"Hmm?"
Back at Zora's Domain…
"Weiss!" Sidon greeted happily. "Have you gotten rid of the problem?" He asked.
Weiss smiled. "Hmm… let me think… perhaps she oughta say something." She stepped out of the way to reveal Mipha.
"MIPHA?!" Sidon and Dorephan yelled in shock, where Muzu was too much in shock to even say anything.
"Hello father." Mipha said softly. "It has been too long… and Sidon, look at how much you've grown."
Weiss smiled at the scene, when suddenly her Sheikah Slate rang. She pulled it out to see more summons have been added to her rune.

I think it'd be fitting if Sidon, Dorephan and the rest of the Zoras get some closure with Mipha visiting them, no?
