Chapter 16 XANA strikes
Sean smirked as he arrived at Kadic Academy.
"I still can't believe you have to pay for going to a school." Turok said.
"Mmm. Private schools means better education. And one like this has had a good history of making famous people." Sean said as they went inside.
Inside they found Yumi and the others working on something in the gym.
"Yo." Sean said gaining their attention.
"Sean." Yumi said walking to him.
"What are you guys doing here?" Ulrich asked.
"Eh, Things have been quiet. So how have Tommy and the others been doing here since they got transferred here?" Sean asked.
"They've been ok. Still no sign of XANA though. He's been real quiet lately. I don't like it." Jeremy said.
"Maybe he's realized he's screwed himself over and decided to plan real hard." Turok said.
"Hey Sean." Kimi said as the rest walked in.
"Hey guys." Sean said.
"Um...Turok?"
Turok turned seeing a girl 3 years younger than him known as Milly Solovieff.
"Yeah?" Turok asked.
"Would you...Would you be my date tonight?" Milly asked.
Turok frowned before seeing Sissi Delmas and already guessed what was going on.
Smirking he walked to her.
"You know what? Sure." Turok said shocking Sissi.
"Really?" Milly asked.
"Sure why not. I don't know much about dancing since it's still new to us but I like learning." Turok said.
"WHAT! Your gonna go out with that stupid Baby?" Sissi asked.
"Sure. Because she's a human being. But the quest to understand your ugly species continues." Turok said making her blush and growl in embarrassment.
"I wasn't as bad as her was I?" Angelica asked Suzi.
"Nah. Not as much. Just a little spoiled." Suzi said making her frown at that last part while the rest laughed at Sissi as she left annoyed.
Later
"I swear. How the fuck does she think being mean makes her the most beautiful girl in the world?" Kimi asked making Sean gag.
"I've seen girls who were more mean than her and even they looked way more attractive." Sean said.
"Oh yeah like who?" Angelica asked.
"Her name's Baiken. Long red pink hair peach eyes." Sean said.
"Oooh. She does sound pretty." Suzi said.
"Yeah but she's caught up in Revenge against the fucker who killed her entire family. I agreed to help her and I'm still looking to this day. She's from the Queen's blade universe as I call it." Sean said. (Baiken from Guilty gear)
"Well if meanness is the quality of a beauty queen maybe she'll kick Sissi's stuck up ass." Yumi said.
"I'd bet you could beat her." Sean said making Yumi grin.
"Try telling that to miss world up there." Jeremy said.
"Miss world huh? Miss in her own world is more like it." Odd said making them laugh.
Sissi heard this and growled in rage.
Later
Sean and the others saw Sissi crying as she was in a robe after some incident happened in her room.
"Karma." Phil said.
"I wonder what happened." Chuckie said.
"Only one way to find out." Lil said as they went into her room seeing it trashed.
"Damn." Sean said scanning the whole place.
"Yeesh. I don't even this much stuff." Angelica said.
"Must be an overload from using so many electrical items." Jeremy said.
"No. None of the outlets are showing signs of that. Something else happened here." Sean said.
"Maybe one of the other students played a prank on her as payback for her being a bitch." Turok said.
"Turok." Suzi said annoyed.
"What? She is." Turok said.
"Not gonna argue with that one." Sean said as they left.
Later
"Ok now I'm getting concerned." Sean said as now the gym Teacher Jim was attacked and in the hospital.
"I don't know about you guys but I think it's that Xena chick." Dil said making Sean snort laughing.
"It's XANA and XANA is a dude." Sean said.
"Oh." Dil said as the others laughed.
"You watch too much of that Warrior princess show dude." Tommy said.
"Whatever but I still think it's him." Dil said.
"I hate to say it but I think he's right. I mean first Sissi is attacked then Jim. Something is going on." Suzi said.
"Hmm. Well XANA has been quiet since our last encounter using duel monsters. So it's not far fetched he would pull something now." Sean said.
"Yeah but what?" Yumi asked.
"I don't know." Sean said
"I still don't get why we don't just shut the computer down." Phil said.
"News flash. We shut it down and we lose Aelita too." Lil said.
"Oh yeah. But I mean shouldn't we have gotten somewhere by now." Phil said.
"Materializing a living being is not the same thing as an object. It takes time. Even for us. And since the programing on the super computer is complex its taking more time. On a plus side we have made a breakthrough." Sean said.
"What kind of breakthrough?" Yumi asked.
"We can materialize certain objects now. Thats a step in the right direction." Sean said.
"Well, I gotta get ready for the dance tonight." Yumi said.
"See ya." Sean said as she walked back to her dorm.
"I forget she lives on campus since her folks passed." Ulrich said.
"How did that happen?" Tommy asked.
"The Merge." Odd said making Sean glare.
"You know I hate the fact is everyone keeps bringing that up." Sean said.
"How come some people died during it and the rest didn't? You would expect the numbers for each universe to go down by half each." Kimi said.
"An imbalance in the energies in those people. Everyone has the energies of each key component of the energy immortals use to breathe. But some people had the wrong kind of balance in them which when the merge happened it killed them." Sean said.
"So how did her entire family die and she didn't?" Chuckie asked.
"I call it luck." Sean said.
"Listen we need to make sure if XANA is behind this or not." Jeremy said.
"So lets go to the factory then. The sooner we find out the better." Dil said.
"Dil's right. I'll stay here. The rest of you go on ahead." Sean said.
Later
Soon the rest of the gang arrived at the factory.
"Hi Jeremy." Aelita said.
"Aelita. Have you noticed anything strange lately?" Jeremy asked.
"Well, I finally felt pulsations after so long. I thought maybe XANA was just thinking though since he hasn't been active in months." Aelita said.
"We think he's up to something again." Jeremy said.
"I'm in the desert region." Aelita said.
"Ok. Ulrich, Odd, Kimi. You're up first." Jeremy said.
"Oh this is gonna be fun." Kimi said as she was scanned before being sent to Lyoko.
Soon all three arrived on Lyoko.
"Oooh." Kimi said seeing her ninja outfit. (Check out Kimi and Tommy by Joepopls on Deviantart. She looks amazing)
"Cool." Ulrich said as Angelica, Suzi and Lil arrived first.
Angelica was in a blue, Red and Gold outfit as her palms glowed with energy. (Captain Marvel outfit)
Suzi had on what looked like ANBU black ops armor on herself with two swords in hand.
Lil had on special armor on herself with a chain gun.
"Nice." Lil said as Phil, Tommy and Dil arrived last.
Tommy looked like a marine with a riffle in hand.
Phil looked like his sister but had two riffles in hand.
And Dil looked like a ninja with a sword in hand.
"Sweet." Dil said.
"Chuckie where are you?" Tommy asked.
"I think I'll pass." Chuckie said making him chuckle.
"Guys." Sean said on comms.
"What is it?" Jeramy said.
"I think we have a problem." Sean said seeing some drag lines that looked like from a snake. "I've seen this before somewhere." Sean said.
"If it's under XANA's control it'll go after his enemies." Aelita said.
"Shit. Yumi." Sean said rushing off to find her.
Yumi was in her room getting dressed currently in a black bra and thong when something started smashing against the door.
"What the?" Yumi asked before a large mechanical monster broke through making her scream. (Picture a Vector from GI JOE SIGMA SIX)
Only for Sean to grab it and throw it outside her window.
"What the hell was that?" Yumi asked covering herself before putting a robe on.
"I'll explain on the way." Sean said picking her up and flew out the hole in her room. "That thing is a Vector. It's part of the terrorist group COBRA." Sean said.
"COBRA? You mean that group thats similar to HYDRA?" Yumi asked.
"Yup. If I had to guess? I'd say XANA in league with them." Sean said.
"But that doesn't make any sense. XANA Hates people. Why would he join them and how?" Yumi asked as they landed.
"Because desperate times call for desperate measures. When he hacked into the Legion database he unknowingly lured us to him and now he's in over his head. Because of the people and technology we have out matches him a hundred times over." Sean said.
"So he has no choice. Because once we bring Aelita in we shut it down and he's goes with it." Yumi said.
"Exactly I'm willing to bet anything he's got more allies than just them." Sean said.
Meanwhile
Kimi yelled as she was actually battling Storm Shadow of all people on Lyoko.
"You fight well. For someone who's never actually seen battle." Storm Shadow said as she twirled a bladed fan.
"I've practiced before." Kimi said as they charged at each other.
Ulrich was battling against Bane before Hornets showed up.
"I forgot how much I hate these things." Ulrich said.
Thats when someone appeared behind them making them look seeing Sean and Yumi.
"What about the Vector?" Jeremy asked before seeing Superman actually fighting it.
"We'll deal with this." Sean said as he charged in before blasting Bane back.
"Hello Kruger. It's been a long time." Storm Shadow said.
"Storm Shadow." Sean said before making a blade from thin air.
"You two know each other?" Kimi asked.
"A long time ago." Sean said as they charged at each other proving both were on equal ground with their blades.
Thats when Kimi dashed behind him throwing daggers at him making him groan as he jumped away.
"Another time." Storm Shadow said vanishing as Aelita made it to the Tower.
"That...Was annoying." Angelica said.
"Things are only gonna get worse. If XANA is aligned with COBRA he's probably aligned with HYDRA and other groups as well." Sean said.
"We'l deal with it later. Right now it's time for a return trip." Jeremy said launching the program.
Return to the past
After everything was back to normal everyone was at the dance.
"I can't believe that thing was what happened here. How did it trash Sissi's room?" Suzi asked.
"It must have been smaller at first and got bigger over time." Sean said.
"I guess that makes sense. What I don't understand is how COBRA contacted XANA." Jeremy said.
"Overkill. He's part machine so it's not hard to figure out." Sean said.
"How do you know COBRA so well?" Ulrich asked before the beauty queen contest was about to start.
"Later." Sean said.
"And this year's beauty queen is." Delmas said as Sissi was about to step forward. "Yumi Ishiyama." Delmas said shocking them both.
"Wait what?" Yumi asked making Sean chuckle as she got the crown. "Ok did you do something?" Yumi asked amused.
"No. But I did however let the school know what Sissi tried to pull with Milly so it probably gave a push to have you elected instead." Sean said making her grin while Sissi looked livid.
"NO! Theres no way some stupid Chinese orphan won!" Sissi yelled shocking everyone while Yumi widened her eyes.
"Sissi! What has gotten into you?" Delmas asked shocked by this.
"Nothing. But she shouldn't have won. Why would anyone vote for some Chinese orphan whore?" Sissi mocked.
"I AM JAPANESE!" Yumi yelled pissed off.
"Whatever. Fact is you got nothing. Oh little miss Yumi all alone." Sissi mocked making her glare.
"At least her mother didn't walk out on her like yours did to you." Sean said shocking her. "Remind me again what were her final words to you before she left? Oh yeah. I'd rather die than raise a snot nosed spoiled brat. I can see why she left ya." Sean said shocking her further.
"Now see here!" Delmas said before Sean glared at him with cold blood red slitted eyes making him gulp.
"You shut up. Your part of the reason she acts the way she does. Never disciplining her when she steps out of line. It's why she'll end up alone. Sure...Yumi's family by blood is gone. But she's still got family in general. And thats more than you'll ever have in a lifetime." Sean said holding her close making Yumi smile as Sissi ran off crying.
"Damn Sean. That was really brutal." Suzi said.
"Eh. I say the truth as it is. Now lets get back to the dance shall we?" Sean asked amused making people cheer as the dance resumed.
"Sean...Thank you." Yumi said making him grin.
"I said what was true. You still got family here and the Legion. Now when this is over I got something to show you." Sean said as they danced.
Later
"WOW!" Yumi yelled seeing a large mansion. "What the hell is this?" Yumi asked.
"Welcome home. I told ya I was building this place. And I got it finished." Sean said as they went inside.
When Sean lead her to one room she was shocked to see it of Japanese design.
"I figured you'd like it to remind you of home." Sean said.
"Sean...I don't know what to say." Yumi said.
"I meant what I said earlier. You still have family. Not by blood but where it counts." Sean said before she kissed him which he returned holding her close.
Pulling back she smirked at him.
"Since you've been so nice to me it's only fair I do the same to you." Yumi said pulling his jacket off.
"Hold it." Sean said making her stop. "I'm not gonna do something if your not actually ready for it." Sean said shocking her before smiling.
"You guys really are selfless you know that?" Yumi asked making him grin.
"More than you can ever imagine. My Would have sooner let our own race die off than do the merge if we knew first hand that it would cost lives. But Gramps broke his principles for us. Since thats what any family member does for their own." Sean said making her smile kissing him lovingly.
"And that is why I love you so much." Yumi said as she kissed him lovingly.
Later
Yumi was packing her dorm room.
"Oh what do we have here?" Sissi mocked.
"What do you want now?" Yumi asked.
"Did you get kicked out? I'm not surprised. Who'd want a whore like you on Campus?" Sissi mocked.
Yumi's only reply was a smirk which unsettled her.
"Nope. I'm moving into Sean's mansion thats close by." Yumi said shocking her.
"WHAT! Why the hell would he waste time on you? Your nothing compared to me!" Sissi said before she was grabbed making her look seeing Sean glaring at her which frightened her.
"She's human unlike you. You care about only yourself. And let me be clear. Your little power that you think you have is at an end." Sean said as he helped Carry the last of Yumi's Things while Yumi stuck her tongue at her while Sissi just stood there frozen.
Meanwhile
"What do you mean any student will be sent to jail for a week if caught bullying other students?" Delmas asked outraged.
"You heard us. This crap ends now. This is a universal rule from now on. Any student caught bullying others will be disciplined. And any teachers or staff who ignores it will lose their jobs. Not like you'll have them much longer though with the new tech that helps transfer knowledge into people." David said.
"But...you can't just put students in jail." Delmas said.
"Oh but you can ignore the students who ask for help huh? Your daughter has been bullying or picking on other students for some time and you let her do." David said.
"I don't let her do anything. I punished her when the prom was over. I took her phone away for a week." Delmas said.
"That is hardly a punishment. She decided to still mock Yumi when she moved out of the dorm. Does that sound like she learned her lesson?" David asked.
"I'll deal with her I assure you." Delmas said.
"No...You won't. Because the rule starts now. And the next time she does something like that it's a week in jail." David said leaving as he let out a breath of fear for his daughter's future.
Meanwhile
"I told you that plan was going to fail." Cobra Commander said to XANA.
"It seemed logical in my view. I'm still not adjusted to these other beings like Superman and Kruger. Where I originated there were no super heroes nor villains." XANA said.
"True...Still we did get a read out on Kruger's new allies on Lyoko. They have skills. And one of them seems to be very skilled in the ninja arts." Cobra Commander said seeing Kimi fighting Storm Shadow.
"Pity we did not find her first." Storm Shadow said.
"There are plenty of others for us to find." Zemo said.
Meanwhile
"Huh? Your leaving the School?" Chuckie asked his sister who smiled.
"I got accepted into the Shinobi program in the Leaf village." Kimi said
"Really?" Suzi asked.
"Yeah...I got accepted since my Chakra level was actually pretty high. And more importantly I'm gonna be placed under a top Ninja from the Leaf." Kimi said.
"Who?" Angelica asked.
"Some snake Ninja. Anko something." Kimi said.
"Anko Mitarashi?" Sean asked walking in.
"You know her?" Lil asked making him smirk.
"Yeah. She studied under one of the top three Ninja of the village. Orochimaru. He's an old friend of mine who's very interested in the advancement department in the Legion." Sean said. (He's currently in the top 10 in the poll)
"You know anyone who's taking positions for people who want to be doctors?" Suzi asked.
"Hmm. You know...I know someone in Miami would be interested in a lab partner." Sean said.
Author's Note: And with that things take a turn. Kimi is leaving regular school to be a Ninja. Suzi will become a doctor studying under someone in Miami who I might add is also part of the CSI team there. Now Next Chapter is gonna involve another Ranger team. I'm gonna let people know this now. I'm taking next week off to relax for a bit. Every three weeks I'll take a week off to relax so I don't overly stress myself with writing.
