Chapter 1: Party Time:
Barnaby's POV:
My name is Barnaby, and I am an owl. My sister is Longclaw. Our parents, Knight Owl and Snow Owl have passed away. I'm currently doing what I do best, throwing a party!
"This is a great party, Barnaby," says Endora.
"Oh, I know," I said.
"Yeah, but we have a party every night," says Longclaw, "don't you think it's time to limit it?"
"Nonsense," I said, "you can never have too many parties!"
. . .
The party was then over. "Come back tomorrow night," I said, "it's going to be a costume party!"
. . .
Then came the costume party, but... nobody came!
"Where is everyone," I asked.
Then Endora came in. "Am I early," asks Endora.
"No, you're right on time," says Longclaw, "at least you should be."
We then received a note. I read it. "Sorry, Barnaby, but your parties are getting old. It's the same thing every night. We're bored. So, we decided to stay home." I then put the letter down. "Longclaw... maybe you were right."
"I'm sorry, but that was really rude of them," says Longclaw, "I'm going to have a talk with them." Longclaw then leaves.
