Spider-Man and His Super Friends

Here's the sequel to "Four Peters Vs. The Sinister Six" for Peter-1 and the MCU (which will most likely be undone by "Avengers: Kang Dynasty" and/or "Avengers: Secret Wars." I may do sequels based on them, we'll see). I also may wait to see if I should add anything after seeing "Deadpool and Wolverine."

Spider-Man is the property of Marvel Comics and Flash and Supergirl are the property of DC Comics and Warner Bros.

Chapter 1

November 2025, Earth-199999

Peter Parker walked up to the gravestone of his Aunt May, laying down a bouquet of roses.

"Hey May, it's been a while since I was last here. Thought I'd come back on the anniversary of…" Peter tells the grave, but can't finish the sentence.

Today was the first anniversary of the day that he met his multiverse doppelgängers. But it was also the anniversary of when Green Goblin killed May.

"After you died…3 more Peter Parker's from the multiverse showed up. Helped me cure the others, like you wanted. I know you're hoping they are all doing good in their universes.

"Unfortunately, to send them back. I had to get Strange to make everyone forget about Peter Parker. I haven't told anyone, not even Ned and MJ. It's best that they're free of me. They're safer this way. Now, no one I love will die again because I'm Spider-Man.

"Since you were my last blood relative, I had to evade social services until I turned 18. Got my GED and had to take my ACTs and SATs (again). Didn't go to MIT like Ned and MJ, but it's best I shouldn't. I got into Empire State University. It's in the city so I can still be Spider-Man.

"And a good thing too. Back in July, your old boss at FEAST, Martin Lee, tried to spread a disease as his way of getting revenge on Mayor Merlyn. Apparently he experimented on Martin back in the 90s in order to cure his wife and son, but it led to the death of Martin Lee's parents. Fortunately, I stopped him and saved the city. Sure, most don't know it was Spider-Man, so people still hate me thanks to Beck.

"I've also started interning with a Doctor at the school, Barry Allen. I believe Peter-4, that's one of my doppelgängers, mentioned him. Or at least, his doppelgänger from his universe. I'm also working with a fellow student, Kara Danvers. You'd like her.

"I like them, but they're just work colleagues and they have to stay that way. I can't get attached. You're the last person I love that I lost and it's going to stay that way."

"Hello?" A nearby voice said.

He turned around to see Happy Hogan had arrived at the cemetery. "Oh, it's you again. The kid who was here last year." Said Happy.

"Uh yeah."

"Didn't get your name last time. I'm Harold Hogan, but people call me "Happy."" he said as he extended his hand to shake Peter's.

"I'm Peter…Peter Snow." Peter told him.

Happy was the last person from his old life who knew him personally that he had seen in months. With his non-existence, he didn't want Happy to know of his relation to May. So, he decided to use the last name of his doppelgänger's wife from Earth-1.

"So, how did you know May?" Happy asked.

"I…was homeless for a while, until I went to the F.E.A.S.T. shelter. She took care of me, helped me get back on my feet." He lies (partly) to Happy, before giving one nugget of truth, which causes him to tear up. "I lost my parents as a kid, so she became like a second mother to me."

"I'm so sorry, kid." Happy replied, putting a hand on his shoulder before saying, "I was there a lot last year to have lunch with her." Peter gets a little worried before Happy shrugs it off. "Must've missed each other. Damn shame about Martin Lee. Since he created FEAST, you'd think he like people in general."

"Yeah. So were you two dating or married?" Peter says, pretending that he he hasn't known Happy for years and that he already discovered that the two dated between Mr. Stark's death and Beck framing him.

"Well, she called it a summer fling. But I wish it could have become more."

Peter nodded. While it was weird to discover May and Happy's relationship at first. But over the last year, he thought if May did live, he wouldn't have minded Happy becoming his uncle. While Tony Stark was a bit of a father figure to him and Beck tried to do the same (really conning him to give up E.D.I.T.H.), Happy actually had become the closest person to ever be a father figure to him. Unfortunately, that was undone by botching up of Doctor Strange's spell, incorrectly telling him what he wanted, not trying to find a way to exonerate himself, or just not realizing that he could have asked MIT admissions to overrule their rejection of him and his friends.

"Well, I'll leave you in peace."

"Oh, you're not a bother. You can stay."

"Thank you, Happy, but I've got to get to work. I'm in college now and I need to save up."

"Okay, well, see you around." Happy waves to him.

"You too," Peter replies as he exits the cemetery. As he does we hear a monologue in his voice.

Whatever life holds in store for me, I will never forget these words: "With great power comes great responsibility." This is my gift. My curse. Who am I? I'm Spider-man.

Peter then swings through New York City in his red and blue Spider-Man suit, patrolling for crime (and maybe some work delivering for DoorDash and the like). As he does, he is spotted from a window of the apartment of fellow ESU student and intern to Doctor Barry Allen, Kara Danvers.

She wished she could use her powers for good like Spider-Man and Captain America. But the Danvers assured her she wasn't needed. She did suspect that it was a lie to keep her safe, but after Alex nearly died helping her save people back in Midvale, it soon became a lie she told herself.

It also didn't help that earlier in the year, the world had become xenophobic with aliens after the incident with the Skrulls. Heck, it also didn't help that there had been an alien invasion over a decade ago with the Chitauri and Loki, a Frost Giant adopted by Asgard. And the cherry on top of the alien xenophobia of last decade, Thanos.

These incidents made the Danvers worried about Kara playing hero. But Kara still wanted to be a hero, even pointing out that one of the original 6 Avengers was an alien, Thor of Asgard. But this only led to their argument, "Exactly, they have him. They don't need you." Harsh, but she understood that they didn't want to lose her.

It was also the media hatred of aliens that made her still want to be a hero. She had heard all the rants about how evil Spider-Man is from videos of J. Jonah Jameson from the Daily Bugle. But she remembered the old YouTube videos from before the blip and even before the Sakovia Accords of Spider-Man saving people and catching buses. In the few months she was in the city, she had personally seen crimes she wanted to intervene, but then saw Spider-Man stop them. With Jameson and the rest of the media believing he was a false hero and responsible for the attack on London, Kara doubted if he was a false hero. Why would he try so hard to help people and stop criminals?

A little later in the city, Peter passes another apartment of someone he knows. This time, the doctor he interns for, Barry Allen. Barry is amazed by the web swinger. He was a little nervous when Patty got transferred to the NYPD and he managed to get a job at Empire State University. This was still the city where Hulk fought Abomination, the Avengers fought off the Chitauri, and just before the blip, Iron Man and Spider-Man fought those aliens that were later said to work for Thanos. Even recently, it was where ex-shelter owner, Martin Lee, tried to poison the city.

But he was happy about the change, not just because it was closer to his dad, but to be in New York meant for many in the country to be in a world of heroes. He grew up reading a lot of comics as a kid and they would often become heroes due to a loss of a parent or family member. Which was exactly why Barry became a scientist. The loss of his mother and first girlfriend inspired him to help people. But, instead with superpowers or anything like that, Barry wanted to help people with his brains, with science.

Slowly from the Lincoln Tunnel, a small, black piece of the Venom symbiote made its way into the city. A year ago, the whole of him and his host, Eddie Brock, were transported from their dimension to this one. However, Eddie and the rest of him were sent back, while only a piece of him stayed behind. He didn't know much, but he did remember seeing Spider-Man on TV. He wasn't exactly sure why, but he had to find Spider-Man.

Just behind the piece of Venom in a car in the middle of the tunnel, Iris West was waiting in the traffic of the tunnel to enter the city. She and Joe were happy for the short time after her mom left them. She told her dad she had a crush on a boy at school named Barry Allen. Her father thought that adopting Barry and living with him and Iris could be the perfect way to get his daughter's dream to come true.

But the stupid IA got in their way and arrested her father for framing Henry Allen. She tolerated living with her mother and maternal grandparents, but they tried to tell her that her feelings for Barry and her father weren't healthy. She spent nearly two decades in therapy, juvenile centers, and jail for fights (especially against her therapists). She came to New York for revenge against Barry and Henry Allen and that bitch he married. Bastard even grew up hot, so she even considered having some fun with him before killing him, whether he wanted to or not.

Author's notes: At this point, Peter still blames himself for what happened in "Far From Home" and "No Way Home." Even blames himself for the fairy in "Homecoming."

I put in the plot of the first Insomniac game cause Mr. Negative will be needed later.

Yes, I replaced Norman, Emily, and Harry Osborn in the MCU (especially since No Way Home established that they don't exist or Norman hadn't started Oscorp yet) with Malcolm, Rebecca, and Tommy Merlyn.

While Happy is not his love interest like Mary Jane was in "Spider-Man (2002)," I thought it was fitting to have that monologue after leaving the grave of a family member while leaving someone he can't get close to (even if his love for Happy is that of a father figure and friend) due to his responsibilities as Spider-Man. Just saw the re-release because of Sony's 100th anniversary and my entire theater applauded after Peter's final monologue, though not when the credits rolled ( guess they figures, we just did it a few seconds ago, why bother).

Yes, I've made Iris an antagonist. This will certainly not be a West-Allen story.

I'm still writing the story, so it won't be as often as "Four Peters Vs. The Sinister Six," it'll be a while until the next chapter.
